The location was very good, close to grocery stores. The ocean view was wonderful that we could see whales in the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped. Some of frying pans were peeling off badly. It would have been better if those were not there. The room's floor was not clean. I wish there was a mop in the room so that we could clean. Towel rack in our bathroom was broken. Communication with the host was very quick and smooth. Overall, it was good.

Excellent location. Everything you need is right across the street Safeway,ice cream shop, ABC store and Dominos. I do recommend dehumidifiers in the unit since there is no AC . My daughter had a hard time with congestion from the humidity.

Great location! Group of 6 with 2 kids and we were comfortable. Nice that there was a washer and dryer so we could launder our towels daily. Would’ve liked a few more wash cloths so we didn’t have to wash them daily but otherwise it was still fantastic. Proximity was close to grocery stores, restaurants and our favorite shave ice places. Would definitely stay here again on our next staycation.

This property was great for us. We really appreciated the beautiful sunrises every morning and being able to sit on the lanai or walk on the beautiful beach. The location in Kapa’a was so convenient to groceries, and stores and some really excellent restaurants. Being in Kapa’a also allowed us to take excursions from a central home base, which was very nice for planning our days. The pool was there to cool off or lay out. Everything in the apartment worked well—the kitchen had everything we needed to do a lot of cooking. We made our own smoothies and piña coladas in the blender. We made use of the grill and enjoyed ping pong in the rec room a couple times. The masks, snorkels, beach chairs and mat got used almost every day. They seemed to have almost everything we needed to enjoy Kauai, including a great guide book and other useful literature. In short, our stay was really great.Everyone has their own expectations and so this may not be important to you. A couple of issues we had were the condition of the apartment being a bit dated and kind of stark and we felt the floors and baseboards and windows could be a bit cleaner. There was some noise from upstairs neighbors that was a little jarring at times, but that’s probably mostly on them, rather than this property. Anyway, weighing everything we really enjoyed our stay and feel it was a great choice for us.

The condo is amazing with a great beach view and is in close proximity to anything you want to do on the island. Everything you need to cook with is in the kitchen and the owners gave great info on things to do in the area. Having the beach right there is awesome with great sunrise views.

The studio setup was perfect for me...room was clean, bed was comfortable, the beach was steps away, the air conditioning unit and fans kept the room comfortable. I appreciated the fact that there were some plates and silverware to use (along with supplies for washing the dishes). Host was great at communicating and answering questions. I hope to come back!

Stayed for 3 weeks. Outstanding condo with everything you can think of. Dave is so easy to communicate with and came immediately when the tv went out and sent someone when we saw a ac drip. This is so important and it’s a beautiful property and close to all activities. Best sunrise around on the beach outside your patio door. Highly recommend

The only slight negative was that the toilet in the bathroom wasn’t completely clean and the seat doesn’t fit the toilet properly but overall our stay was awesome and those were small issues.

This place was perfect for our family! The beach is literally steps from the lanai. Everything was clean; kitchen was fully stocked with equipment for cooking meals. Great location on the east side of the island which made each area of the island we visited about an hour or less drive. The host was quick to respond with any questions in leading up to the trip and during our stay. Could not be happier with our stay here. Thank you!!!

The room was very clean and neat. His was very responsive and helpful. Air conditioning worked great and cooled the place down fairly quickly if you need it. There isn’t a view of the beach from the room but you could just go around the corner and down the hall and your right on the beach. Had great lounge chairs for around the pool and some on the lawn. Great ocean view I would sit on the lawn chairs and just relax. You’re able to catch the sunrise from this property as well. Perfect location about 35-40 min drive depending on time of day to the south or north shores

The location was perfect for exploring the island! The condo itself was exactly as described, what they don't talk about how amazing the waves crashing along the rocky shore are for sleeping. We also saw whales out front 3 different mornings. The are multiple sized coolers for your excursions, beach chairs, towels, everything you need to enjoy your time at the resort and out and about. The hot tub and pool are clean and functional. They also noted our late evening flight and offered late check out for an additional fee - which made our last day much more enjoyable! Highly, highly recommend!!Only complaint (but it was beyond the control of the hosts or owners) is the first couple of nights the guests inthe unit above only knew how to stomp when walking and cleaned their sandy shoes off their lanai which blew onto ours while we were eating. Chalk that up to lack of courtesy rather than issues with the property.

This is my favorite property to stay at, I’ve been here many times. This was my first time with this property manager and it was a great experience. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked, and the parking was convenient. There was a pest control service while I was there which they clearly communicated in advance and it didn’t impact our stay at all! Would love to stay here again.

The facility was average, and it was missing instructions on how to use the coffee maker, the dishwasher, and some other minor things that would have made it more plain and clear. The parking under the trees was impossible, as the dirt on the windows had to be washed every day. We had to buy window cleaner and extra paper towels. The noise from the street was loud in this unit. The noise from the people clomping around upstairs was loud, and I had to go knock on their door to let them know, which helped just a little.

The condo was clean and tidy upon arrival. The starter kit they provided was great to get us going the first few days. We had an issue with the tub faucet and AC but a maintenance employee was there and fixed it that day. We had a great time staying here.

This isn’t as much a review of the room, more a review of Candace from Kaua’i Calls. We got to the island, and I got a call from Candace saying that there was an issue with our room, so she put us up next door in the Waipouli Beach Resort for two nights. The issue didn’t go away, so we were able to stay in the Waipouli for the entire trip! I can’t thank Candace enough for helping us have a positive experience while we were here. She was gracious and responded in a very timely manner. Thank you!!!

Location of property was perfect for the Kappa area, lots in walking distance. Facilities were very nice and the grill was a great bonus which we used. Beds were comfortable and the lack of A/C really was not a factor. Cool breeze off the ocean and the sounds of the waves crashing was very relaxing.

Our stay was nice. The room was suitable. It was confusing finding where to park, it's in an entirely different parking lot than the studio. The beach it sits on is nice with comfortable chairs, but pretty rocky in the water. AC was advertised, but we were asked to use it as little as possible. Not sure what was up with the shower amenities provided, but they were the cheapest shampoo and conditioner I have ever used. Pretty sure the conditioner was half water. Definitely bring your own! There is no where to get drinking water. The only faucet is the bathroom sink and that water tasted very weird! I wasn't overly impressed with the pool and other spaces advertised as they are shared with everyone else in the complex and were almost always in use by others.

Our vacation at this condo was pure magic! Loved everything … crashing waves on the beach, whales and their babies breaching the ocean, seals peaking at us on the shore. We got it all.Condo is well equipped, clean and inviting. Although there is no A/C we never missed it. Fans and trade winds provided plenty of comfort and we had the best sleeps on comfy beds.We also had a good balance of play and rest … opting to kayak up Kailua river, ATV rides in the jungle and hiking at the canyon. We even found a wonderful and very reasonable masseuse in town. I’ve come to Kauai 4x now and this is now my favorite spot. Don’t wait, just book it. You won’t regret it!!! :)Thank you Michelle!!!

First let me say that we had to postpone our trip from September and our host graciously moved our reservation. They were also quick to respond to questions and easy to communicate with.The condo is cute and clean, well equipped with everything you need and is in a great central location. The beds were comfortable and having a washer/dryer in the unit is a bonus. It’s steps from the beach and the pool is a nice option after a day of salty snorkeling! The room with the twin beds is open at the ceiling letting all the noise and light in from the kitchen/living area which is kind of a bummer. Also, the listing shows a hot tub and there isn’t one. Overall the condo worked out great for us. Truth be told, if you’re doing Kaua’i right you’re spending very little time in your housing!

This is such a great unit for kiddos. Pool is right there, super safe beach, in unit washer/dryer, and the twin beds for the kids were the best. If you come October-April, you won’t need AC so don’t pay extra for a unit that has it. 10/10.
