This was our first trip to Kauai and this location and property were excellent. Super convenient to be across the street from Safeway (and Starbucks/ABC Store/Ross). Easy communication with the hosts and never had to reach out for anything. Trade winds truly blow right through the place and A/C really only needed at night just as the hosts explained it all. Loved having washer/dryer access. Borrowed a beach chair and umbrella. Kitchen well-stocked for cooking meals. Proximity to the beach is as advertised, although it isn’t really for swimming, but excellent for family pictures and experiencing the sunrise. Great experience that we wouldn’t hesitate to book again! Thank you!

Ocean breezes and the sound of crashing surf made this a great place for relaxation when we weren't touring or meeting up with family. This property is a great location in Kapa'a. Though the dedicated parking spot is not next to the unit, we appreciated the shady spot for the car. The kitchen was well equipped. The full-size washer and dryer came in handy.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back! The location in Kapaa was center to visit elsewhere with the car and there was a walking/running/bike path juste 5 meters from the accommodation which enabled us to run every morning by the ocean which was a highlight.The view is absolutely incredible, and the condo was stocked with so many thoughtful extras that made our stay even more enjoyable. There were plenty of trash bags, Ziploc bags for packing lunches, makeup towels, a sponge for dishes, coffee, laundry detergent, dish soap, beach chairs, and even a cooler. It really felt like the hosts had thought of everything.The bed was exceptionally comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise. There’s air conditioning in the bedroom (not in the rest of the condo), but honestly, it cools the space well enough and wasn’t an issue for us at all.The only minor things we noticed were that there’s a broken plastic piece inside the washing machine that could potentially snag or tear clothing, so it may be worth replacing. Also, if the upstairs neighbors walk heavily, you can hear them. The view!!! We loved sitting on the Lanai with coffee and breakfast enjoying the view each morning as well as our family dinners in the evening. The unit was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. An added bonus was bumping into Sheila who was always excited to say hello and hear about our day. We are looking forward to returning.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and well stocked. The complex is right on the ocean with a nice beach; the views from the condo are lovely. The beds were quite comfortable. Water pressure was strong: we never had any problems taking showers. A washer/dryer in the unit came in very handy. Air conditioners and wifi worked great. Communication with management was excellent. We always received very prompt, helpful replies to questions. The unit is on the 3rd floor so there is no noise above you and there is an elevator if you need it. A few negatives: the bedroom with the king bed was quite cramped and barely had room for anything else (only one nightstand and a dresser that was in the closet). The other bedroom door is translucent and the wall adjoining the living room doesn't go all the way to the ceiling so one has to be very quiet and not turn on any lights in the living room/kitchen area if someone is still sleeping in that room in the morning. Finally, the complex is on a very busy road. Despite those drawbacks--which we lived with without much inconvenience-we would highly recommend this unit.

We had a great stay at Kauai Kailani. Such a perfect view to eat breakfast everyday. And relax at night with a bourbon. The waves of the Pacific crashing rhythmically - you can’t get closer to it. This unit was wonderful and we can’t wait to visit again. Mahalo nui loa!

Terrific location, walking distance to the great restaurants, and shops of Kapaa. Very scenic oceanfront steps away, though too rough and rocky for swimming. Clean and well-appointed unit with nice kitchen and balcony. We really enjoyed the place overall and the location.

We stayed here for 10 days during a family vacation and enjoyed our time overall. The location is outstanding, with easy walking access to shops, restaurants, shave ice, and other conveniences.Good:The unit is spacious and comfortable for a family. The primary bedroom mattress was excellent, and we slept very well. The kitchen was clean, well-stocked, and included useful cooking essentials. Beach chairs and equipment were provided, making beach days easy. There was plenty of closet space, and the second bedroom was very clean. We also enjoyed the pools once we realized we had access to both of them.Bad:Arriving at night was confusing. The complex was dark, and finding the unit and parking was difficult. A map showing the unit, parking, pools, and beach access would be very helpful. The AC worked well in the main living area but did not seem to cool the primary bedroom effectively.The bathroom needs attention. The fan/light was not working, the sink drained slowly, and the shower area could use a deep cleaning. We also noticed dust on lamps and in corners. The couch is worn and likely due for replacement.The unit feels crowded with furniture, rugs, and décor, leaving limited space for personal items. A few updates, better organization, and a thorough cleaning would significantly improve the guest experience.Overall, we enjoyed our stay. With some decluttering, deep cleaning, and a few updates, this property could fully match its excellent location and potential.

The condo is just as described. You can't get any closer to the water! The property is very nice, and we enjoyed the pool and ping pong table in the rec room. The BBQ's were top notch, and the condo had everything you'd ever need.

Great place to stay in Kauai! It had everything we needed. Washer & dryer were so incredibly helpful, & the host provided beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc. I’m so glad we stayed here! There’s a great beach you can walk to & a grocery store across the street. Highly recommend, especially if you’re traveling with kids!

This is a beautiful spot. It is on the windy side of the island. But the breeze is welcoming. The Condo was very comfortable for the two of us. We really liked the view which was incredible! Having beach stuff available was really nice. Especially, the small cooler we used everyday. The shared storage closet had chairs, umbrellas ect…. Great communication with Amanda. I can see why the condo is basically booked year round.

We enjoyed our stay. This unit was perfect for our family. The kids loved playing in the pool in the afternoons and we loved being able to sit on the lanai as they swam. Super convenient location; central to everything we wanted to do. Bonus having Safeway across the street too. Would definitely stay here again.

Owner is high maintenance regarding requests for the unit with relatively low hospitality. The unit had dirty floors and when contacted, he was primarily dismissive. Other areas of the unit were clean. Would recommend bringing shoes to wear around the unit, as also suggested by the owner when we contacted them. The unit had the basics and was accurate to the description, but the beach equipment was old and there weren’t beach towels, just extra bath towels. Many requests to not use the air conditioning in the unit, despite it being part of the listing. The location was convenient, water pressure in the shower was great, and parking was very easy.

The host, workers, and everyone we got the pleasure of talking to, oh lets not forget the amazing chickens, birds and lizards were all amazing. The condo was beautiful inside and out, with beautiful gardens all around. The shower was perfect for a beachview condo, especially being only a few steps away from the private oceanfront with a variety of styles of chairs to sit in, plenty for the whole family. Not to mention the first evening on the beach we had a special visitor flop up near us (well within Hawaii safe viewing standards) smiling the whole time The Master Bedroom mattress has seen better days, this being my only con i can see for this place, until they change that out that is

The location was very good, close to grocery stores. The ocean view was wonderful that we could see whales in the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped. Some of frying pans were peeling off badly. It would have been better if those were not there. The room's floor was not clean. I wish there was a mop in the room so that we could clean. Towel rack in our bathroom was broken. Communication with the host was very quick and smooth. Overall, it was good.

Excellent location. Everything you need is right across the street Safeway,ice cream shop, ABC store and Dominos. I do recommend dehumidifiers in the unit since there is no AC . My daughter had a hard time with congestion from the humidity.

Great location! Group of 6 with 2 kids and we were comfortable. Nice that there was a washer and dryer so we could launder our towels daily. Would’ve liked a few more wash cloths so we didn’t have to wash them daily but otherwise it was still fantastic. Proximity was close to grocery stores, restaurants and our favorite shave ice places. Would definitely stay here again on our next staycation.

This property was great for us. We really appreciated the beautiful sunrises every morning and being able to sit on the lanai or walk on the beautiful beach. The location in Kapa’a was so convenient to groceries, and stores and some really excellent restaurants. Being in Kapa’a also allowed us to take excursions from a central home base, which was very nice for planning our days. The pool was there to cool off or lay out. Everything in the apartment worked well—the kitchen had everything we needed to do a lot of cooking. We made our own smoothies and piña coladas in the blender. We made use of the grill and enjoyed ping pong in the rec room a couple times. The masks, snorkels, beach chairs and mat got used almost every day. They seemed to have almost everything we needed to enjoy Kauai, including a great guide book and other useful literature. In short, our stay was really great.Everyone has their own expectations and so this may not be important to you. A couple of issues we had were the condition of the apartment being a bit dated and kind of stark and we felt the floors and baseboards and windows could be a bit cleaner. There was some noise from upstairs neighbors that was a little jarring at times, but that’s probably mostly on them, rather than this property. Anyway, weighing everything we really enjoyed our stay and feel it was a great choice for us.

The condo is amazing with a great beach view and is in close proximity to anything you want to do on the island. Everything you need to cook with is in the kitchen and the owners gave great info on things to do in the area. Having the beach right there is awesome with great sunrise views.

The studio setup was perfect for me...room was clean, bed was comfortable, the beach was steps away, the air conditioning unit and fans kept the room comfortable. I appreciated the fact that there were some plates and silverware to use (along with supplies for washing the dishes). Host was great at communicating and answering questions. I hope to come back!

Stayed for 3 weeks. Outstanding condo with everything you can think of. Dave is so easy to communicate with and came immediately when the tv went out and sent someone when we saw a ac drip. This is so important and it’s a beautiful property and close to all activities. Best sunrise around on the beach outside your patio door. Highly recommend
