We had a great time and would recommend this property. The complex is just down the road from Poipu beach (5-10 minute drive) and away from the touristy hustle and bustle of that area. The grills and pool in the complex are very nice and we cooked a few meals with no complaints. The property itself is very clean and perfect for two people. We visited in November and could get a very nice breeze at night opening all the windows and leaving the sliding door partially open. We used the boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and beach towels every day at Brennecke’s or Poipu beach.

Property is close to the beach, activities, shopping and a great restaurant. Prince Kuhio grounds are lovey, people are friendly and the pool is refreshing. Ample parking in parking structure. It was a bit warm with the bedroom in the center (Fan but no AC) but the living room in the rear of the unit was awesome for sunrise and general relaxing while watching and listening to the water. Cleaning wasn't done until 3:45 so we had to wait to get in.No outlets (or extension cords) near both sides of bed for electronics so bring a multi plug adapter. Remember to bring a bar of soap for the shower! We forgot ours and had none upon arrival.

Nice condo with superb location close to Lawai Beach and The Beach House restaurant. No A/C, but we knew what we were signing up for. Great to have a kitchen and also nice that beach chairs were provided.

Very nice vintage vibe of Prince Kuhio condos complex is beautiful and well maintained. The pool is very newly renovated with tile and stone. The grounds are a botanical garden with stunning trees and abundant orchids. Parking options are great. BBQ area is nice and clean with a potted herb garden! The unit is perfectly laid out for capturing the breeze without the need for AC in May. View of the ocean and park are sweet. The birds are not a problem if you go to bed and rise on their schedule (lovely - no joke). We usually prepare our own meals and the kitchen is good for that. We have been to Kauai many times over the years and try to swim and snorkel in the ocean every day, so Lawai Beach (PK) is only a few minutes walk away and is paradise found. We really loved our stay and the hosts are awesome. We will be back if possible and stay more time than before.

Great location, nice condo, comfy lanai. Just a heads up to the owner the two tommy bahama chairs are on their last leg one has no shoulder straps and the other the chair seat is almost ripped out. Obviously not a huge deal just a heads up! Great spot

This property was perfect for me. I loved the location. I was grateful to have chairs, umbrellas and a cooler available to use. There was snorkel gear as well, but I do not use it.

Comfy bed with great sea breezes. Perfect locale to explore S coast of Kauai. A short drive to Poipu Beach - covered picnic tables & grassy knoll perfect watching sea turtles & monk seals every day. Great food nearby: Beach House restaurant; Da Crack Mexican; Living Foods & Old Town Koloa Town (best poke burrito ever at Kenji Burger).

Clean cozy condo with all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay in Hawaii. There was even beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkeling gear.
We panicked at first because there was no air conditioning, but as soon as we opened the place up it cooled right down and we enjoyed the cool Hawaii breeze.

Building an unit were very well designed, providing amazing views of the ocean and mountains from the Lanai. Air flow, with the aid of ceiling fans, was excellent throughout the unit, providing refreshing temps and air all the time.
Design with the living room/inside lanai adjacent to the outside lanai was excellent, providing wonderful views and breezes all the the time. Outside lanai, though small, was perfect for coffee and breakfast, and watching the sunrise.
Unit was supplied with everything we needed, and Host Jim was very responsive.
Location was great for exploring all of the island, from Koke'e to Hanalei!

My spouse and I enjoyed our stay in Poipu for Thanksgiving. The condo is pretty much right across from Lawa'i Beach which offered beautiful sunsets every night. There's also a popular restaurant right there called the Beach House.
The condo was clean and had plenty of towels, beach towels, and beach gear. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat breakfast at the condo each morning.
The view off the little deck and living room / lanai was beautiful and the lanai was a good spot to relax.
My only complaint was that the windows in the lanai did not close (they were above the deck doors and were the shutter kind), due to the sea spray over time. This meant we couldn't block out the wind when it was very windy the first couple days, and it would have been nice to block out more of the sounds of the roosters and Parakeets (we were warned about the Parakeets and had ear plugs for sleeping, but the roosters were loud at all hours, day and night).
Otherwise, we had a great stay and I would recommend staying here.

This is a nice little place, well furnished with the basics. Perfect for a couple. No AC, but the layout with the window slats and the ocean breezes made it definitely comfortable on even the hotter days. A nice ocean view and the lanai, although small, overlooks a quiet county park. The grounds and pool are beautiful and well taken care of. The location is perfect with shopping, dining, and beach access close enough to walk. Overall, very quiet, but the units near us were mostly vacant during our stay. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is the small hole in the screen door needs to be repaired. Until we noticed it and blocked it with some tissue paper there were a few bugs coming in. Overall, a great little place. Called the owners once with a tv issue which they promptly had taken care of.

Jim’s condo provides really everything you need to have a lovely time. It comes with a nice bathroom, cozy living room, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. The amenities of the complex are superb. BBQ area and pool! Jim’s instructions before the trip were helpful and made it super easy checking in. Totally recommended. Mahalo!

Great time staying in this property! We found the parking lot a little challenging to get out of, as you mostly have to pack out of the lot into the road, but the alternate parking in the parking garage was very easy to use. Easy communication beforehand with the property owners, and had no issues during our stay. We opted to hang out at Kiahuna beach for most of our beach visits as there was a little more space to spread out than at the beach across the street. Big Save grocery was not far, and many great restaurants only minutes away.

If you're looking for a convenient, beautiful, luxury escape this is the place for you! I couldn't believe how wonderful the property was. It gives you instant relaxation vibes. I broke my leg on my trip which resulted in me staying inside for most of my trip and I feel so fortunate I was there. It felt like home! They have so many things for you to use which is really handy, beach chairs, cooler. The layout is amazing spent majority of my time in the sunroom which is fabulous! Couldn't recommend this place higher if I tried! Also, so close to shops, beaches and restaurants! So happy I found this place!

Nothing beats the location of this condo! The close proximity to the not-so-crowded beach just across the street was the highlight of this spot. It was easy for my boyfriend and I to pop back and forth from the beach to the condo for water or food throughout the day with just a quick 2 minute walk.
The condo had almost everything we needed (except coffee filters which was super minimal). We used the stove, oven, fridge, and freezer without any mishaps or issues.
The lanai with the ocean view was ideal for morning coffee. After enjoying the ocean view, we spent most of our day time at the beach or hiking so this crash pad with a comfy bed is exactly what we needed.
Two minor things: 1. Two of the kitchen overhead lights went out while we were there. Not a big deal since there was so much other lighting. 2. The condo was being cleaned when we arrived but the sweet lady doing the cleaning finished up quickly so we could get settled. The owner had told us we could check in an hour early (2pm instead of 3pm) so maybe there was a miscommunication between him and the cleaning lady.

Overall we had a wonderful stay! The bed was comfortable and the condo was very clean. We thought there was a balcony but it’s really not useable. There is no AC but the breeze ran through the condo and it is totally not needed. The grounds are very well-kept up in the pool area is really nice. The location is great! There is a lot of traffic and the roosters kept us up at night as we had to keep the windows open to keep cool. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this condo for two people. It suited us just fine. Thank you for sharing it with us!! We had a great week!

The location of this rental is really wonderful. Nice view, great views, walking distance to beaches and dining. The until is self is clean and has all the amenities. One note is that the layout is a little quirky - the bedroom is in the middle and you have to walk through it to go to the kitchen or living room space. It worked fine for us though, even with a kid. The property owners were very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We will stay again if we have the opportunity next time we are on Kauai!

What an amazing weekend at the Prince Kuhio Resort! Couldn’t of asked for a better way to spend Christmas weekend!
The place was better than even described, and amazingly clean with all the amenities one needs to have a truly relaxing time in Kauai:)
Check in was easy peasy, and Jim’s communication was prompt and welcoming. The roosters crowing were a great alarm clock so as not to waste a precious minute on the island, and I certainly enjoyed the juicy Madonna biography in the condo library! Great hosts and great location, and certainly finding it extremely difficult to leave, but I know I will return.

Enjoyed this property and proximity to south coast amenities and attractions. Great location for home base as we traveled the island. Good snorkeling accross the street and easy access in and out of area. Condo is well appointed with most of what we needed. Lanai is a bit tight but otherwise has good views and offers a relaxing place to kick back. I would rent again and owner communication and response time was 100%!

Both snorkeling with sea turtles and great surfing right across the street! Rise with the roosters and the sunshine and a great view. We used the full kitchen a bunch, which was good to save money on meals. Wifi was stable and smooth for the kids. Good times!

My boyfriend and I traveled here to do some post-vax WFH (work-from-hawaii :)) and we had the best time. The unit is perfectly situated right near Lawai Beach and has great amenities. The pool is great, the washing/drying machines are super efficient and pretty cheap, and the little community it's situated in is very friendly. The owners were also very responsive and there's a ton of stuff they have in the condo for renter use (chairs, boogie boards, towels, etc.) Highly recommend this for anyone traveling to the south shore and can't wait to come back!

I stayed a week in PK205, the condo a short walk/ drive to everything. The condo is well kept, nicely furnished, with a nice kitchen, eating area , bath . comfortable bed, and an additional pull out in TV - living room. Perfect size for my daughter and I. Pool area nice, beautiful koi ponds and bbq area . Parking in the main area by condo mostly full, but a multilevel parking garage is a short walk across property if main lot full. we enjoyed our stay, Thank you.

A great place to stay on the island of Kauai if you want to get away from the hustle of hotel life. The Beach House restaurant is across the street which provides beautiful views of sunsets as you enjoy their fantastic cuisine. If you decide to dine in the Prince Kuhio provides gas barbeque or the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals. We so enjoyed our stay at Prince Kuhio 205.

After staying 4 nights in Princeville, my wife and I wanted a change in scenery and I wanted to surf(and it's summer time). I spoke with Jim via email and told him what we were looking for which was a place with a descent view near a couple surf spots and some restaurants. He responded promptly and described his rental and it sounded perfect. When we arrived, we were more than pleased. Not only did I get to surf everyday just outside the condo, we had an amazing restaurant just across the street and some great beaches. Jims condo was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I loved opening up the widows and feeling the breeze blow through while listening to the waves.
