Perfect location. Less than 5 minute drive to Poipu beach. Restaurants, shops, small local market, food trucks, and shave ice stand one block away.
The villas were quiet. The stream behind this condo was a nice surprise.
Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, dinnerware, cookware, and appliances.
Fantastic set of beach gear, and rain gear (ponchos and umbrellas).
Bed was firm, which we really really appreciated. The sofa bed in the living room was very cushy, which our 8 year old liked.
We enjoyed staying here!

We returned to our favorite property in Poipu to find it just as we had come to expect, everything perfect. This is the ideal place for a couple to enjoy the south shore of Kauai. Don’t hesitate to give this lovely ground floor condo a try. The owners are pleasant to work with and very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We do wish the AC in the main room worked a little better since it was pretty warm and humid. We liked having AC throughout the unit because we had an infant and enjoyed the king size bed. Evie is a gem, lovely lady. The property itself is beautiful. We did not rent a car but were able to walk or take a bus to anywhere we wanted to go. The grounds are lush and the pool is really nice. We were very impressed with the unit itself. Super spacious, everything, literally everything, we needed was there. The rooms are large, the furnishings were beautiful and for the first time on a vacation I can say the bed was actually very comfortable. We are already planning our next trip and Ed and Sharon’s will be our first choice!

Ed and Sharon's condo is in a wonderful location, with lots of great nearby things to do, shops, and restaurants. As other visitors have noted, the neighboring wildlife gets noisy at night, so you may want earplugs! We had a terrific stay.

My wife and I have stayed in many places on the island of Kauai, and we often worry about staying in Poipu due to the crowds, but this location was perfect. The ground floor entry among lush landscaping and the sound of a stream feels tropical and private. The inside of the rental is completely spotless. The kitchen has everything a person could need in an organized way and great appliances. In fact, the whole place feels updated with great counters, faucets, bedroom furniture, and so on, and it feels big compared to many places we have stayed. Communication with the hosts was amazing! They sent along tips before we even arrived, and the unit includes a booklet with more helpful tips. Outside the unit, it's clear that they put a lot of effort into the greenery. The whole condo community is nestled into tall trees and lush foliage. The pool was heated, and we mostly had it to ourselves when we used it. Walking to sandy Kiahuna beach is about ten minutes down a relatively quiet road, but we also enjoyed walking the other way to the shops at Kukui'ula for happy hour or just picking up some souvenirs. It's also just a two to three minute drive to most of Poipu's top locations without having to be stuck in the middle of the busiest areas. It was definitely a gem of a location and a well-appointed, comfortable unit. We loved it.

We were 100% happy with our stay. The condo is beautiful, big and very clean. Kitchen has everything we needed, the beach stuff was so convenient and nice to have. The AC worked great. The property grounds were gorgeous and the pool was really nice. We LOVED the location. We could walk to so many restaurants and shopping and I got in some beautiful walks in the morning to the beach. We would love to stay again if we ever have a chance to come back. Thank you!

this unit comes with a wide selection of beach gear, no need to bring anything from home — they provide everything you might want! We enjoyed the pool every afternoon & walked to dinner every night. The complex is quiet & peaceful (no loud neighbors, except for the chickens 😆). And there is plenty of parking for the rental car. The unit was clean and spacious with comfortable furniture and a firm mattress (thank you!!!). We felt very at home for our romantic getaway!

It was walking distance to great food and conveniences like grocery stores, many options of shave ice, and minutes to some really beautiful beaches. The unit has everything that you would need. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances and pots/pans/plates were in perfect condition. The cupboard of beach stuff was amazing!! We had everything we could possibly need: beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, coolers and amazing microfiber towels that dried quick and we're easy to pack. This place is prefect and you should absolutely stay here. BUT, be aware of the roosters. Roosters and chickens are the pigeons of Kauai. They are EVERYWHERE. And the roosters don't wait until sunrise to crow; they will crow all day and all night long. The only bad thing about this condo is that there are no glass windows; they are only screens and jalousies. So they do absolutely nothing to keep sound out (or in). So the very first night we were there there were roosters RIGHT outside the bedroom crowing at midnight, and 3:00 AM, and 5:30 AM... They are impossible to ignore. The hosts suggested turning on the air conditioner to drown out the sound, but the AC is really quiet. It did absolutely nothing to help. We had to go buy earplugs at Walmart to survive the week (which are not very comfortable to sleep in).
Now, you have to realize that the roosters are everywhere on the island, so staying somewhere else wouldn't remedy the situation (maybe the fancy resorts shew the chickens off their property, but they are far too expensive). Don't let this deter you from staying here; just plan accordingly. (One other note, there are walking pathways all around the condo complex, including very near the bedroom. Sounds from inside the bedroom would be very audible to someone walking by...)
Otherwise though the condo is perfect. It's very clean, has everything you need (we used the snorkels, cooler, and beach bag a bunch!), and is in a fantastic location. It was also one of the best prices we found. The landlords communicate well and promptly. I would absolutely stay there again.

This condo is meticulously maintained and there are so many little conveniences of home. There is a closet with lots of beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs - it’s so nice to have those things to use, so you don’t need to purchase anything for one-time use. We took a garden tour and it looked like it may rain so I grabbed 2 ponchos from the closet, just in case. We didn’t end up needing them, so I just put them back. I just appreciated having them and not needing to buy them! The home is upgraded throughout with fans, a/c units, lovely furnishings, granite countertops, tile flooring. There are lots of great notes and information provided by Ed & Sharon, so there is no learning curve on what’s in the condo and how to use it. Would stay here every single time we visit (which I hope is soon again!)

We did use the very quiet AC when sleeping and that was much better than our noisy Princeville condo. We received their guidelines (very reasonable) to keep the condo running smoothly and well maintained. It was convenient to snorkeling locations which was one of our main activities. Would stay again.

Such a wonderful location. Ed called back to secure us before we flew in. This villa was on point and in-between everything you need in South shore. You cannot find a better place with all amenities included.

This condo is located conveniently to the beach and shopping. But the feeling at the facility is one of peace and seclusion. The grounds are of mature vegetation and trickling books with koi. The unit we stayed in was very clean, well appointed, and obviously lovingly cared for. All the fans, lights and appliances worked well. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely lovely property and condo. We only spent two nights extending our time in Kauai and I hated to leave so soon. The sounds, the breezes, the condo amenities were all so wonderful! We will hope to be back!

We had a great stay near Poipu Beach. Ed and Sharon were very prompt in their communications, and their condo was clean and conveniently located. Would stay here again when visiting Kauai!

We had a great stay at Ed and Sharon’s property. Sharon was in touch before our stay and provided recommendations for the area. It was a comfortably sized condo for me and my husband with space to relax, and the kitchen had ample space for when we wanted to cook. It was quiet and private - I was able to practice yoga on the lanai without disturbance - but still a great location. We were able to walk to Sheraton, Poipu, and Lawai beaches, and multiple restaurants nearby. The shaded parking lot and sunny pool were also a plus. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a lovely stay in Poiipu. The accommodations are very clean and tastefully decorated. Equipped with everything you need for the beach, snorkelling gear and boogie boards for playing in the surf, also the best shade umbrella.
The master bed was super cozy and clean. The paper meant had everything to make our stay comfortable.

My husband and I loved our stay here, Ed and Sharon were very thoughtful hosts! The condo is spacious, extremely clean, and has everything you need to fully enjoy Kauai. The condo comes with (very nice!) beach chairs, an umbrella, coolers, bug spray/sunscreen, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, beach towels, noodles etc. to use. The kitchen was stocked with basic supplies, spices, and condiments. The king bed was extremely comfortable (always a plus!), and it was so nice to have a washer/dryer to use in the condo! The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer. The condo complex has an amazing pool and is centrally located to beaches, shops, and food. The only possible negative is that there is no A/C and it can get a little hot and humid during the day in the summer. However, the condo has plenty of fans so it was not bad at all! Would definitely stay here again!
