This was our first visit to Kauai and would have to say this was the perfect location. It was close to Poipu / Shipwreck Beaches along with Old Koloa Town (Saturday night festival) / food trucks. It was also centrally located between West - Hanapepe (Friday night festival)/Waimea Canyon/Port Allen/Polihale State Park and East / North - Costco/Kapaa / Hanalei / Tunnels Beach.
The condo was well furnished and we appreciated the extra little things like just enough spices that you didn't have to go buy anything from the store, coffee filters, ice packs, beach towels, all cooking utensils needed if you want to cook. Washer / dryer was effectively brand new.
Also the condo was very centrally located within the complex so you just had to walk past the pool (maybe 100') from the parking lot to get to the condo.
I would highly recommend this rental!

We spent a week here for the Kauai marathon and you couldn't ask for a better location! Spacious unit and right next to the beautiful pool. Full kitchen, roomy patio, tropical garden with stream throughout the complex, and amazing sunset views just down the street. Would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay at Waikomo Stream Villas.
The highlights:
- The location is perfect, right next to many shops and beaches.
- Awesome pool. My wife and I were often the only people at the pool, which has nice pavilions for eating lunch and good seating for laying out in the sun.
- Easy access. The property is in the building closest to the pool and parking lot. It was so convenient.
- Super nice appliances and bathroom. The rental is big and provides ample space. The big windows also made the space feel so open, which we liked.

Great property with a location that is hard to beat! The unit was also great. Very comfortable, with lots of extras like beach chairs, towels, fans, etc.
Local wildlife (toads/birds/chickens) can be a bit loud, so bring ear plugs just in case. We were also disappointed that the pool was closed for a few days for maintenance during our stay, but c'est la vie.

What needs to be mentioned first is that the apartament is HUGE and still very cozy! There are all the things that you might need during your stay, especially for a couple days, like dishwasher, washing machine & dryer, kitchen appliances etc. And a very comfortable big bed:)
The place is located near the beach and shopping area which is very convenient.
Overall, we loved our stay there and definitely recommend it to anyone coming!

Great condo, all amenities complete, really appreciated all the floor fans. Corner unit allows cross ventilation. Only piece of electrical equipment which didn’t work was the VCR player, but who watches VCRs? Would definitely stay here again!

The condo is big, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. It has everything you need to cook and go to the beach (umbrella, chairs. bodyboards, etc). There wasn't a blender but Stephanie provided us one within a couple of minutes. Highly recommend.!

This is easily the best place to stay in the area. The condo was bigger than it appeared in the pictures and very comfortable. I’m not much for eating out and there was all the kitchen gear you would need for cooking in and also about a dozen restaurants and 3 grocery markets within a half mile. The condo development was well maintained plus a pool and pavilion with propane grills and tables so fun eating by the pool.
I was in for a destination wedding and chose the condo for its closeness to where the wedding party was staying and the beach the wedding would be at. Several other guests staying at equally priced places in the area dropped by during the week and said we won the jackpot. Our condo was larger and more comfortable than anyone else’s. One issue is that there is no air conditioning but because it is a corner unit with windows on 3 sides and lots of big fans in the rooms we were not hot. It is a second floor unit (no elevator) so got a great breeze.
It is about 300 yards from the best snorkeling I’ve ever done (Baby Beach) and I studied marine biology and have snorkeled around the world. I saw nearly every single fish in my Hawaii fish book and the turtle are everywhere, dolphins swam right next to me. We were here during the marathon which was good for us because the snorkeling was empty and we could walk to everything so road closures that day didn’t slow us down.
Communication with the owner was very easy and response time was within 5 minutes everytime. If I ever return to Kauai this condo will be my first choice.

We had a very pleasant stay at this property. It is a beautiful area and a nice complex. The condo is spacious with a full kitchen and great lanai(deck). Very convenient to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Minor nits - the bedroom is quite warm even with fans, and neighbors can be noisy (not owners fault). Communication by owner was prompt and efficient, but less of a personal touch than an owner occupied property. We would recommend this property.
