I enjoyed the overall setup of the unit, except I found it weird to have to walk over to a closet to find all the dishes and cups. But th exercise was good for me!! The bed was terrific. Also well stocked with beach chairs,umbrella and boogie board.
It also took me a few days to realize that I arranged for two units for my children and there families at Christmas 12 years ago.

I really enjoyed my stay at Jon’s property in Poipu. It was the perfect place for my week long trip to Kauai. Great location in the center of town just a few mins drive to the beach and to the shopping areas. Very clean and quiet. The place was stocked with all you need for a stay (even a first aid kit that I put to use after a spill on a hike!) with everything labeled nicely. Highly recommend!

There was only one thing wrong with this accommodation. The septic tanks were right outside of the unit. Most days, especially during the heat of the day, one can smell the septic and it drifts into the bedroom through the screens. We did not notice the odour at night once it cooled down. Other than that, the location of the villas is excellent, and the villas are on lovely grounds. The unit was very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our visit to Kauai however we would not stay at the unit again because of the septic.

Beautiful rental with tons of privacy. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and will do so again in a heartbeat. There is tons of space with a huge living room and dining room. Kitchen is also plenty big for two people to comfortably prepare a meal. It was well stocked with just about anything you could need. Owner communicated promptly and made check in / out a breeze. Quick five minute walk to the ocean front when leaving through the back gate. The grounds at this location are beautiful as well. All grounds keepers we encountered were incredibly friendly and even gave us a freshly picked bundle of bananas from the grounds. Parking is right off the street with plenty of spaces. Highly recommend for any couple or small family.

Great stay in Poipu. It was conveniently located near shops at Kukui'ula, that has good shopping options and fine dining. There is also a nearby market that has the best acai bowls, a great option for breakfast, and Da Crack Mexican for delicious burritos. The condo is clean and very quiet, we felt like locals while staying there. It is well stocked with everything you would need if you enjoy cooking and most importantly it has an umbrella, chairs and cooler for the beach escape. You will need to bring or rent your own snorkel gear. The complex has a pool and the vegetations and the grounds are beautiful. We visited several nearby beaches, especially liked Poipu Beach that is less than 5 min away by car.

Would not change a thing. A trip to remember.
The unit had everything we needed. Compared to all the other locations, this was by far the best. Amply parking, close to access ways, markets, shops, beaches. This property exudes the aloha vibes of the island of Kauai. So quiet, peaceful, and one with nature. Would definitely stay again. We did not want to leave and was hard to accept when 10:30 AM hit on our last day :( thank you Jon!

The home is located next to the hotels. There is a short 5 min walk to the closest beach that is right in front of the Sheraton hotel and is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. There is a snorkeling spot right behind the complex as well where we saw tons of foah and a few turtles. The home is fully stocked with everything you need - beach towels, chairs, umbrella and even a stick for hiking! The kitchen has everything and I was surprised to see the amount of spices and oils, etc. the bathroom is also fully loaded with supplies for laundry, showering, etc. be sure to bring your own though as I’m sure these are things that others may have left behind…why not! Love the carpet as if made our feet feel good after all that hiking. The complex is so beautiful! Jon responded to everything in a timely manner. We will be sure to come here again!

We loved our stay here. The location is great - beautiful grounds and the condo is very comfortable and well-stocked. Everything is clearly labeled which spoke to my Type A personality! It is only a short drive to the beach and the condo has boogie boards and beach chairs (and beach towels) which cut down in rental costs for snorkel and beach equipment . Our conversations with the host were so helpful (because I was that person who deleted their email with key information). We had old temperatures and good breezes coming through the condo at night. Yes, we heard wildlife sounds at night but you are in the tropics. If you think that might bug you, bring some ear plugs just in case. It is well worth it to stay here! We cooked in for most meals and everything you could possibly need was available. If you are thinking about staying here, we would highly recommend it!!

We love this unit. The property is situated in a lush tropical paradise with a small stream and waterfalls running throughout. The unit itself has been updated and is very beautiful. We love having our coffee outside on the patio in the morning amidst the beautiful vegetation. It's an end unit so you have views from three sides and a nice breeze flowing through the unit. We enjoyed taking the Tommy Bahama chairs from the unit to poipu beach everyday which is just a short 5-minute drive away.

Great location walking distance to Sheraton beach and shopping/dining. The complex has amazing landscaping including our back lanai that felt like a private tropical oasis. The living room, dining, room, and bedroom are large and well equipped. Jon was very responsive.

Amazing place and excellent location in the Poipu area. This unit is very private and perfectly located on the property. It's fully stocked with every amenity. We enjoyed waking to the sounds of the island, which we read were a challenge for previous visitors,
but it comes with so much Aloha! Walking distance to a beautiful sunset. We will seek out this unit when we can return. Mahalo.

Condo was very nicely furnished with everything we needed. Patio was relaxing and felt very tropical with all the plants and sounds of birds including roosters. Only problem we had was accessing key from lock box. A call to the housekeeper helped us get in as she told us specific keys to push including * and #.

FIRST WE GOT BLAMED FOR HAVING A RAGING PARTY OF 8 TO 10 PEOPLE THEN OUR WATER GOT TURNED OFF DUE TO REPAIRS THEN THE FIRE DEPT WANTED TO CHECK FIRE EXTINGUISHERS THEN DAY OFF CHECKING OUT THE CLEANING LADY OPENED OUR DOOR AT 10:35 AM AND SAID OH YOU STILL HERE I SAID CHECK OUT IS AT 11:00AM HOW RUDE!!! We have stayed at this property before because of its location in Poipu. The unit is large and has good airflow since it doesn't have AC. There is a TV in the bedroom and living room. Our only complaint is that they only have a 4-cup coffeemaker and we always hve to make 2 pots of coffee every morning.

My partner and I wanted to stay in a spacious place for the two of us so we could work remotely during the day and explore Kauai in the evenings and weekends. It was very spacious and clean, with lots of helpful items to make it feel like home - kitchenware, beach towels, beach accessories, etc. It’s also very centrally located to shops and the beach. Parking is plentiful. There’s lots of animal sounds such as birds and bullfrogs on the property, which I think added to the atmosphere :) I would definitely stay again.
