This is a beautiful condo with a fantastic location. The condo is well supplied with everything that we needed and the hosts were very responsive to my questions. We really enjoyed watching the turtles swimming every day and the sunsets were spectacular. Would definitely recommend this unit and would love to stay here again on a future visit to Kauai.

I cannot say enough about this condo, the views are unbelievable. The sunsets off the lanai and just sitting in the living room were off the charts! This condo is in a great location close to Koloa, Poipu beach, shopping all within 15 minutes by car. The condo itself was excellent and the owners have done a wonderful job with decorating and keeping the condo nice. When we arrived it was very well stocked, we really only needed to go to the store for our food items. When we return we will definitely stay here again. Thank Haythem and Ashley for an unforgettable stay!

We had a great time here! Here are the “pros”:
Loved watching the surfers and turtles from the balcony… Great views of the sunset and ocean! The kitchen is very well equipped, and lots of beach equipment in excellent condition. Excellent A/C system, comfortable and quiet!
There were a couple of “cons”: The website pics make the unit appear much larger than it actually is; the TV location isn’t ideal as it is difficult to view from the family room sofa and chairs; there isn’t a dining area where all four people can sit and eat together; the Sonos speaker system is a bit complicated and not “Apple friendly”.
That being said, overall this unit appears to be superior to those around it, and we surely enjoyed our stay!!

This was a beautifully updated condo in the heart of the popular zone of Kauai. We love the Poipu Beach area and this place is right in the heart of it. Condo is a corner unit allowing an ocean view just feet away and being a corner unit you get to enjoy gorgeous ocean sunsets as well! Condo has everything we needed. Layout was a little awkward for TV watching in main room but there was plenty to do other that watching tv. Lighting & switches were a little confusing with various ones (lights) that needed bulbs or just didn’t work. Minor stuff but overall a wonderful place to experience Poipu!

We just got back from 10 days in this amazing condo!
Location is everything! Located walking distance to amazing snorkeling (I watched my husband and middle son from the window), Baby Beach, Riptides and more!!! We loved watching the surfers and turtles every day! The weddings at the Beach House made for excellent people watching and were never too loud or disruptive.
The condo has everything too!!! From curling irons to snorkel gear to coolers for the beach, it is loaded which was absolutely so convenient!!
The hosts are literally one message away and super communicative and helpful!
Not a bad thing to say about this place. It’s perfection!

Poipu was our favorite part of the island, and the condo location was so convenient to the beaches, various markets, and shipping. We’d love to stay there again!

The property location was amazing. The view spectacular. We saw surfers, turtles, dolphins and lots of birds every day from our deck. It was so convenient to walk to the beach to snorkel. Shopping and eating choices nearby as well. We would definitely stay here again!

The location was sooooo good! We watched surfers and sea turtles all day long. The sunset every evening was magical! Riptides across the street had the best pork bowls and shave ice. Everything was amazing!!!! Highly recommend staying here!

Everything from the amenities, to the cleanliness, to the awesome views was exceptional. The owners were wonderful w/ communication and helped make our stay wonderful. We were able to view sunsets, sea turtles, parakeets, and surfers from the private balcony. We didn't want to leave!

We chose to hike the Kalalau Trail first! The second day we took a boat tour to see the Kalalau mountains. We did find some trails too muddy and we could not find the cliffs that were beyond the caves. We saw turtles from the living area and watched more surfing than ever before. Today we take a helicopter ride and your Groove Farm. We found all the cooking items we needed as we are every meal at the apartment. We appreciate all the containers and the cooler! We recovered what we could. Thank you!

This condo is in a fabulous location. The view was so stunning that it was hard to leave and go explore the island. It was spotless and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. Perfect size for four people. We are already looking at booking again for next year.

Had a wonderful 25th anniversary in an amazing location. Very well appointed apartment with many much appreciated extra perks (beach chairs, snorkel gear, umbrellas). We had a bit of trouble with the front door keypad on arrival, but figured it out fairly quickly. Overall, fantastic stay.

Location location location! From the views of the property to the ease of beach access and shoping centers everything we needed was within a 5 minute drive or walk. The home was well stocked wuth comfortable beds/linens. Communication from the owners was consistent and appreciated. We are looking forward to another stay here again soon!

Excellent location, property exactly as advertised, owner communication spot on and fast. Be sure to watch for sea turtles feeding off the coral directly in front of the condo in the mornings. We saw them a few days in a row when the surf was quiet.

The condo has spectacular views of the ocean from the living area and both bedrooms. Our hosts have it well equipped with all the amenities vacationers need to make this a wonderful vacation getaway. It's located near a great snorkeling area and close to nearby restaurants, shopping and beaches. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai every morning watching sea turtles wimming just ahead in the surf, and the nightly chorus of parakeets coming in to roost in the coastal palm trees. Our hosts were outstanding, very accommodating, responsive and helpful. We hope to visit again soon!

If the place is too warm when you get there, don’t worry, it will cool down fast. The unit has incredible views and many water toys for Snorkeling, etc. we loved the sounds of the waves. The hosts were super responsive. Thank you!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at your beautiful condo. The location and views are unbelievable 🤩 The condo was very well stocked with everything you’d need for kitchen, bath, and beach. The beds were so comfortable. We were up every morning well before sunrise to enjoy the stars and ocean sounds, and enjoyed the same on the lanai after dinner. Beach House next door is a fabulous choice for dinner, drinks and sunsets. Morning walks were beautiful, just a few steps from the condo, towards Spouting Horn or walking for coffee to Lappert’s at The Shops at Kukui’ula.
The condo was spotless and very comfortable, and communication with Ashley was seamless. Thanks for the welcome Aloha goodies, a nice touch. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and look forward to out next visit to 319.

We surf and love to snorkel so this was the perfect spot!!! Loved waking up, drinking coffee on the patio and watching my husband and son paddle out while cuddling my baby. Then we would switch off and I would snorkel, perfection!

Terrific for a birdseye view of surfers, turtles, distant whales and brides being photographed. End unit with more windows---best location within property but some noise from weddings until 10 PM. Hosts were terrific and unit well supplied. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful week at Ashley and Haythem’s gorgeous condo. The views and comfort level were so great that it was hard to tear ourselves away and go out! We have stayed at many places in Kauai, and this was the loveliest and best-equipped condo we’ve stayed in. The location also couldn’t be beat, with easy access to Poipu beach and nearby shops and restaurants. Our hosts were also very responsive to any questions we had. Hope we can return here again someday!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kuhio Shores. My husband and I met our friends in Kauai to celebrate our 50th birthdays. This unit with two king bedrooms and two baths, and an open kitchen and living area was perfect for the four of us. Each morning we breakfasted on the lanai while watching whales in the distance. Each evening we planned our dinners out so we could be on the lanai again watching the sunsets. The location is fabulous and the two adjoining glass walls allow for wonderful views and a sense of the indoor and outdoor space being seamless. The indoor space is beautiful, even nicer than the photos make it out to be. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of closet space. Well appointed and stocked with everything we needed from snorkel gear and beach chairs to laundry detergent and trash bags. We were able to snorkel at the beach directly next to the condo unit. The hosts communicated perfectly letting us know of deadlines for payments and clear instructions for check in and check out. There is a binder in the unit which also explains everything you need to know and includes suggestions for local sights and restaurants. The Poipu area has great beaches, some a walkable distance; short hikes; nice restaurants; nearby shopping and a famous botanical garden. Of course the island of Kauai is small enough that you can drive to many of the beautiful areas from this location. Thank you Ashley and Haythem for sharing your magical vacation spot with us!

Even though I booked this about 11 months ago, my husband got COVID two days before we were to leave. We were so sad, but our friends that we were to travel with went ahead without us so this is their review: Kuhio Shores 319 provides everything you need for a great vacation on Kauai = Amazing views (sunrises just a few steps into the yard and sunsets from the balcony), great location (easy access to beaches, restaurants and the entire island) and terrific hosts (accessible and responsive). This place is well-stocked with everything you need to spend your time on the island. Every day from the balcony we saw turtles, whales and surfers enjoying the waves. I also appreciated the technology in the unit from keyless entry to wireless phone chargers and Sonos speakers to provide the perfect soundtrack while listening to the waves. Thanks for a fantastic home base for our Hawaiian adventures!

Absolutely mesmerizing stay in 319. Views, sounds, and sunsets are simply breathtaking. One of the nicest places we've ever stayed. This place is generously stocked with things you need on Kauai like snorkel gear, beach chairs, etc. That's a money saver. Book this place....you WILL NOT be disappointed! We will most definitely be back.

We've stayed in this building, but a different unit, before. The location is great. From the lanai, we saw turtles and whales most days, and watched surfers every day. This is probably the premier unit in the building. It is better than the one above it (in which we've stayed) because (a) it is beautifully and comfortably finished and furnished, and (b) the hosts have provided plentiful very high quality beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, bag, cooler, snorkel sets). The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful.

We had a fantastic 9 days stay with 4 adults, and two big kids. The hosts were the most kind and communicative of any place I have ever stayed. The condo was fantastic!!! And the views and location felt like the best on the entire island. My daughter and I stayed on the air-mattress in the living room and were super comfortable and we loved listening to the waves all night long through the sliding glass door. Kitchen has everything you could need and was great to work in. They had a full stock of beach gear including a very appreciated wagon to put it all in and roll down to Baby Beach. Highly recommend this condo. Worth every penny.

Beautiful sunrise is unbelievable sunsets magical parakeets landing outside every night at the same time and waking up in the morning. The location was perfect for our adventures around the south and east sides of Kauai. Snorkeling at the beach right next door was great and we saw three sea turtles around 5 PM! The sunset views are stunning and the lanai is set up perfectly to enjoy them.

My husband and I had been planning to visit Kauai for our 10th anniversary and unfortunately had to cancel twice. We were so excited to finally be able to take this trip and just delighted to spend our time at Kuhio Shores 319. The condo is just as beautiful as it’s pictures and description on the website. It was very clean and comfortable for us and our two friends. It was well appointed with everything you could want, but not want to pack, from beach towels, beach toys, chairs and umbrellas, linens, special toiletries, wi-fi, and a well-equipped kitchen. The view is amazing. We watched the surfers and turtles from our balcony every day, and enjoyed listening to the pounding waves. The sunsets and sunrises were wonderful and my husband took many beautiful photos. We celebrated our anniversary at the Beach House restaurant next door, and it was memorable watching the sunset from their lawn. The location of Kuhio Shores is convenient to many excellent restaurants, shopping areas, and activities. We tried 6 different restaurants, each one a gem. Our friends snorkeled within walking distance using the equipment provided by our hosts. The hosts were congenial and always responsive to any questions that we had. There are several beaches around Poipu, our favorite was Shipwreck Beach. The Backcountry Adventures Tubing activity and Allerton Botanical Gardens were two favorites. We would highly recommend Kuhio Shores 319 and return in a minute. 🙂

Beautiful sunset views. Surfers by day and twinkling stars in the dark sky by night. Walls of windows provided great ocean views - rolling surf only about 30 feet below balcony. Palms right outside our windows hosted flocks of parakeets every evening. Small shopping area with restaurants and Longs drugstore very close by. Truly a "dream vacation" spot.

Surf, snorkel, board right here. We saw loads of turtles and colorful fish.
Close walk to great coffee, drug store etc. Old Koloa has great food trucks and Poipu beach us a 5 min drive

This location of this place is fantastic - I don't think we've ever stayed this close to the water before! The wave sounds at night almost sounded like piped in white noise (it wasn't). Tons of useful cooking and kitchen supplies made it so we were able to cook in the unit without issue. The hosts were great and checked in on us throughout the stay, which made check-in and check-out a breeze. The chocolates, chips, and wine waiting on arrival were nice too! Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great. There were surfers and boogie boarders to watch every morning/day/evening. We could watch sea turtles from the balcony and/or go snorkeling in the bay right next to the condo. Amazing views of the sunset. All the beach items you could need in the closet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

Kuhio Shores was a beautiful stay. The condo had all the amenities we needed and made each trip to the beach easy with chairs, boogie boards, and towels. The view of the beach was incredible to wake up to each morning, listen to the waves, and then watch the sunset. The location was great too near food and beaches. Stay here and have a great time!

Great clean place. Beds were comfortable, all very clean. Well stocked with plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, cooler and snorkeling gear. Appreciated all the kitchen appliances - even Tiki glasses and a pineapple carver. Photos don't do the actual view justice - it's better.
Only two suggestions I would have at all - need a few more beach towels - only had a total of 4. It's great fun watching all the surfers every day but quite a few obvious non guests gather on the lawn below in the afternoon-sunset - not a big deal as we could typically find a place to park chairs when we wanted but just a suggestion for the on site manager to police the area a bit more.

Ashley and Haythem were fantastic hosts, extremely responsive. The views and the location simply cannot be beat. Best snorkeling we found on Kauai was right outside the condo. Absolutely amazing fish, turtles and even an octopus. Everything we needed was in the condo including both beach essentials and everything we needed to cook many of our meals. Can’t wait to visit again.
