We have been to this facility twice. Each time we have enjoyed the modern amenities of the rental, the close proximity to the ocean and surrounding beaches.
From an early morning coffee to watch the sunrise to an afternoon cool beverage to watch the sunset you will be amazed each and everyday.
Watching the aquatic life playing in the ocean as the waves crashed ashore is especially enjoying. So much so you will not realize how quickly time will simply pass.
This VRBO rental rates a 10+. We are very fortunate to have found it available for our visits. We are confident once you have also stayed here you will want to keep it a secret!!!!

This is definitely the nicest rental we’ve ever stayed in. We highly recommend and would 100% stay again. Not only is the view incredible, but the space itself it so nice. Everything is upgraded, fully stocked, and great air conditioning. You will not be disappointed!

I can't imagine another condo on the island that could beat this condo's location and ocean view. Its south-central coast location allows you to easily reach all the places you'd want to visit on the island. It has an amazing ocean view that is unobstructed and literally steps away from the back door. Also, you can take just a few steps out the back door and you'll see an amazing sunset view to the right!
The condo listing photos are accurate. The place is very clean and functional. It has a fully-stocked kitchen, plus beach towels/chairs/umbrella/cooler as well.
I can't say enough good things about this condo. Definitely worth every penny.

Plenty of room for the four of us. We were so comfortable! The furniture, the beds, beach toys! Polly has really given considerable thought to making sure her guests lack for nothing. We loved the note to leave spices, etc! It was fun to check out ALL the spices when cooking.THE VIEW! We couldn't ask for a better view and since ground floor just walk right out. Needed to connect with Polly twice and she immediately responded to our needs. We will definitely return again.

Polly’s condo was perfect. Clean and beautifully decorated. We loved sitting out on the lanai and watching the turtles in the surf. My son in law was able to surf right next to the condo. We will definitely be back.

We loved the week we spent at Polly’s condo. We woke to the beautiful view and enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the Turtles and the surfers. The kitchen is fully stocked and we found everything we needed when making our meals. The Beach House restaurant was a very special place for us to celebrate our 25th anniversary and is located next door. Our Thanks to Polly for Sharing this home with us.

You cannot beat the location of this condo - we enjoyed the oceanfront views watching the turtles and surfers. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. The condo is newly remodeled and well appointed and Polly was extremely responsive and helpful. We will be back!

Very spacious property with an amazing view of the ocean. Was able to sleep five comfortably with the sofa bed in the living room. Missed having a TV in the master bedroom; A/C units were a little confusing to use; need better directions on how to operate.

This was the perfect location for our Kauai vacation! We loved the laid back vibe of this area (rather than the busier main resort area in Poipu) and were easily able to get to multiple beaches, hiking in Waimea Canyon and off shore fishing out of Port Allen. The lawn outside the door of the condo was the perfect place to watch sea turtles, surfers and sunsets. The condo had everything that we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The only minor thing I'd mention is the the AC pump in the master bedroom closet can be noisy at night when it kicks on...but if you play hard enough during the day and go to bed really tired you might be able to sleep through it. It was also hotter than usual so we used the AC more than we expected.

I booked this unit previously and still have it high on my list, but this time it wasn’t cleaned very well at all…leftover coffee in coffee maker and toilet paper on one of the ceiling fans…however the unit itself and location are top notch….

Walked in the door and were instantly in awe of the ocean view. The sea turtles and the sunset were amazing to watch. This condo is beautifully decorated and comfortable and stocked with supplies we needed for stay and play. Great location to enjoy all activities. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this condo. Such a peaceful place. The turtles greeted us in the surf every morning and we enjoyed the much needed solitude. I was able to cook easily with all the provided kitchenware and spices. We were thankful to have A/c as the little bugs and gnats outside made it difficult to leave the windows open for the breeze. (We're highly allergic to many types of bug bites) Maybe a smaller mesh screen for the windows would limit them being able to enter. Absolutely would love to stay again. Oh also appreciate Polly hunting down an iron for us!

We have stayed at Kuhio Shores many times, but never in this particular unit. The unit itself was nicely decorated and we loved the open floor plan. We made many meals there and was able to take in the scenery every day. We would definitely go back.

This ground floor unit was absolutely perfect. The patio walked out to a large flat golf course type grass that butted directly up to the ocean. The unit was very clean and new with a lot of extra convenience items. Coolers, beach chairs, paddle boards, games. Also had a very good A/C system. We would diffidently come back here again.

This unit has been remodeled completely and is very well stocked. Kitchen has everything you might need. The views are spectacular and Kuhio Shores is a fantastic complex. Excellent communication with host. Highly recommend!

This two bedroom, first floor condo worked out great for our first visit to Kauai. Watched sunset and surfers right from our lanai. Steps to a great snorkeling area and restaurant. The clean, very organized condo was well appointed with kitchen and beach supplies. Plenty of space for the two of us. Only mild annoyance was the AC pump in one of the bedroom closets that kicked on and off whenever the AC was on. If you are a light sleeper, pick the other bedroom. Problem solved.

We loved the condo! The owner thought of everything from beach chairs, to coolers, boogie boards. Kitchen was well stocked too with a lot of spices. The sunrise/sunset views were fantastic. The Beach House restaurant few steps down had amazing sunset views.

The property is in a quiet street, contains all amenities you need for a comfortable stay and the most relaxing view of the water just few steps from the terrace! We were sad to leave so soon. Poipu area is a great place to stay at. Koloa town is worth exploring. We'll keep this place in mind the next time in Kauai.

The quality and location of this home is incredible. The morning and sunset views are to die for. The kitchen is full and thoughtful, as well as other details throughout. The fans and AC keep it comfortable. Baby Beach is a 5 minute walk away. The Beach House restaurant is a 2 minute walk the other direction. Polly was communicative and kind throughout this experience. Thank you for being such a big part of our perfect vacation.

Polly's place, overlooking the beautiful Pacific, was the highlight of our trip. The check-in process was hassle-free, and Polly was more than accommodating to our needs.
If your looking for a relaxing stay in the South shore -- this is the place! We would have coffee on the lanai every morning and spot the surfers and sea turtles only a few yards from us.
The place has all of the supplies you could ask for, including a fully stocked kitchen and snorkeling gear. The only complaint I had is it isn't very convenient to wash/dry your clothes as the units were outside in a shared-space.
We will definitely be booking Polly's place again!

This place was amazing. They spared no expense in the recent renovation. The rooms are spacious, the ocean view is amazing. Surfers and sea turtles both provide endless entertainment out on the waves. The beds are comfortable and everything was as described. We would love to come back here again! Wish we had more time to stay.

We loved this stay! So beautiful clean with a great view of the ocean. The pull out mattress was so comfortable! Only negative was that prior to arriving we confirmed to come earlier because our flight and she happily said that was fine. Upon entering the cleaning staff was still cleaning and needed a couple hours. Without a rental car or anywhere to go we were semi stuck outside. But in regards to the property, it was amazing.

We watched turtles in the waves in front of the unit. We watched surfers and fisherman from the lanai. We walked next door to the Beach House (best restaurant on Kauai) for meals and drinks. I would definitely rent this place again.

Beautiful and well stocked condo with everything we needed for a week in Kuaui. I took so many items I did not need. There was everything we needed for a beach day including snorkel gear ( which we brought) and a cooler. Tons of spices to cook with and all the kitchen tools one would need. It was beautiful to walk right out to the ocean and a nice short little walk to snorkel. It was in a wonderful location to all the activities we did. We loved our stay and would definitely rent this condo again. Thank you for sharing your condo with us. We had a wonderful family trip and we took beautiful family photos right outside on the lanai.

We had an absolutely wonderful week at Polly's condo and already looking at dates to go back!
Thank you for the spectacular getaway. We had a fabulous time - from morning coffee on the patio watching the sun rise to evenings on the lawn watching the sunsets (and a couple of weddings on the rocks). We were close to so much - and easily drove to both ends of the island (as far as we could in each direction).
We had great snorkling and scuba diving, lots of time on the beach, loads of shave ice, and so much fun. We can't wait to come back - still need to go to Allerton Gardens, have a night dive, and drink more Ha Coffee!
Polly was super responsive to any questions we had along the way!

This is a tastefully modernized 2 bedroom condo overlooking the ocean. It came equipped with everything including spices, detergent, and storage bags which some do not provide. Our only slight quibbles were that four of us were staying and there were only three outside seats. This was easily solved by moving one of the dining chairs outside but it was a minor nuisance to move it back and forth. There were also only three beach chairs and we had to rotate among us.
There are lovely matching cabinets throughout the unit but they need to be wiped down as splatters and drips can be seen when the light hits them.
I would highly recommend this unit and we would definitely stay here again.

111 Kuhio Shores is a great place to stay on Kauai. It is recently updated, well-designed, and right on the ocean. It is well provisioned; with everything and more you might need for your stay. Pots; pans, spices, athletic equipment, beach stuff, bandaids, etc. Polly, our rental contact was easy to work with and responsive. The location is great., too. We enjoyed the lanai, ocean views, and great snorkeling in the cove just west of the Beach House restaurant. The common areas in the building are nothing special and dated, but the friendly staff keeps everything clean. We are fussy folks and like things just so, but for the price and location, this unit is winderful. We will be back!

This condominium exceeded my expectations in many ways. It was on the ground floor and we could walk off our lanai into a grassy lawn. Sea turtles grazed the rocks right in front of our condominium and whales could be seen blowing and reaching offshore. There’s an excellent snorkeling spot Just around the corner. Polly was very prompt in getting back to us. This is a beautiful spot and I highly recommend it.

The view on the ocean front was fabulous. It was sunny every day we were there… Loved watching the sunsets every evening and the parrots flying in after sunset to roost in the palm trees. Loved looking out the windows, sitting on the lanai and taking walks on the grass in front, always seeing the beautiful ocean water and coastline…fabulous! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us. It was comfortable, lovely, clean, and the location is FANTASTIC. We found it hard to peel ourselves away from the lanai with its expansive view of the ocean where we saw turtles, dolphins, and even some early-migrating whales. LOVED IT! We hope to return soon!

Great location. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. But you cannot use the air conditioner at night time because the pump makes so much noise it will keep you awake all night. The sliding door screens were broken completely off from day one so you couldn't leave the screen open. Noisy neighbors above us. Front door lock broken and very tricky to get to work . But overall a very beautiful place & the sunsets and sunrises made up for everything!

Very well maintained and updated unit, the kitchen was carefully well stocked, and the view is exceptional. The owner took care to provide almost everything from beach chairs or snorkel gears to coffee and water. It truly felt like a home away rom home! We look forward to going back someday soon.
There was nothing that we did not like, but if we have to mention something, it was the lack of a vent fan in the second bathroom, but really no big deal as there was a small window that helped dry it out quickly.

We had such a amazing stay in Kauai! The Unit was absolutely amazing! The pictures are beautiful but they don’t do it justice! The unit was stocked! From outdoor activities gear to a fully stocked kitchen! We cooked everyday! The seaturtles that are right out the slider in the sea was our favorite to watch! The staff at the condo was very nice and personable! It was nice and quiet and so relaxing!!! We hope to book again very soon!!! Thank you very much!
