We had an amazing stay. The location was perfect, just minutes away from all the south shore beaches and great poke bowls (Koloa Fish Market and Kukuiula Market). The condo was clean and well-maintained, and the view from the balcony was amazing. The host was very accommodating and made the whole experience great. The unit had two beach towels, two beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a boogie board. We can't wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The view is spectacular, better than the pictures. We were able to watch sea turtles every day swim and eat in the bay just outside the balcony. The location is far enough away from the resorts you don't feel like you are swimming in tourists, yet close to all the things you could need on the south end of the island. Everything worked in the unit including the a/c units and fans. Would absolutely recommend staying here. We did reach out to one of the contacts with a question while there and never received a response. It was a minor issue so not a big deal. Overall we loved our stay here and would love to stay here again.

The condo exceeded our expectations and was the perfect hub for our Kauai adventures. After a full day of snorkeling and exploring, our private lanai was a wonderful way to unwind while taking in dramatic views of the coast (and sea turtles).
We loved our time here and felt truly at home. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and are already planning another trip back.

I was looking for a quiet rental on Kauai and this lovely condo did not disappoint!
Very clean accommodations in great repair with fantastic views. The located in close proximity to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants and Poipu Beach.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend this place!

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. We both loved the oceanfront view and the ability to walk (~20 minutes) to The Shops for shaved ice or such. The lanai was provided with shade and privacy. It was a great place to relax. Washer/dryer are not in the unit, but in the building, requiring quarters (change machine there though). Cleaning crew arrived ~15 minutes early on checkout day.

The listing does not mention that the condo unit is adjacent to a busy road in which traffic plays into your daily experience. At times there are Harleys that really make you jump out of your chair. This is not a quiet place if you were seeking solitude, and there is no indication in the description, that leads you to believe you need to deal with noise from traffic. That was very disappointing.

My husband and I loved this condo! Beautiful view, quiet and excellent location. The condo was very clean, comfortable, organized and very well set up with thoughtful beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and spices for cooking. Fantastic location for beaches, shopping, amazing food trucks and easy access to all of your travels around Kauai! We highly recommend condo 301 and would stay here again! Well worth your time and money!

This place was amazing. The pics do not show how spacious it is. Great location (walking distance to Baby Beach, Lawai Beach, and the Beach House restaurant. We had everything we needed and more. Parking pass was in the room ready for us. Best part was the VIEW! If you’re considering staying on the south shore, look no further. This is your spot!

No dolphins come in the cove as advertised but definitely lots of sea turtles. Have to drive to get to beach/sand. Small but cute condo with everything you need to cook a meal. The property managers expect the place to be cleaned which isn’t a problem but they left no dust pan. Host was very rude about having to pay a cleaner extra to sweep the floor and wipe down the stove. I had a 8 am flight and left no trash but definitely paid a cleaning fee. Next trip to Kauai will be somewhere with sand and doesnt require walking up/down 3 flights of stairs to go everywhere. Better places for this price

This property is on a beautiful spot, right on the water. Pictures/descriptions were very accurate of what the place was like. Came here for my 50th birthday with my wife, relaxing, relaxing, relaxing. Loved the location, nothing was very far away. Checking in and out and parking was amazing. Not much contact with host/manager as none was needed, everything was arranged and easy. Mahalo Joe for letting us stay, best 9 days ever!

The property is exactly as described. But what is not listed is that you can watch sea turtles from the balcony each day! The little beach next door has wonderful snorkelling too! The unit is a corner unit on the 3rd floor that gives nice morning sun. The rest of the day shade which was most welcome. We can at times hear cars go by on the roads but the sound of the waves cancels it out. Dealing with the owners was efficient and responsive. I would recommend staying here.

The highlights: one of the best equipped kitchens of any VRBO we’ve stayed in, Poipu is a really nice part of a beautiful island, very little noise from the neighbors, delightful view, very comfortable property and a lovely owner. The only downside is that there is some ambient noise from the road that passes by the unit.

First the people were wonderful before we arrived. I emailed them and they replied
Quickly with all the information I asked about. They asked our arrival time and were waiting for us with big smiles and a folder full if information about the house and surrounding area. Very helpful. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook and more. The bathroom even had a makeup mirror. Beds were great and plenty of space to hang up clothes or put in drawers. The porch was fabulous with a view of mountains, deer and foxes. A fire on the porch if you wanted, a grill. And wonderful hot tub. It was terrific place to stay. Biv Bend National Park was fabulous for hiking. We paddled down the Rio Grande. Went horseback riding and hiked everyday. Perfect vacation. The hosts had wine with us the last night and we had a great discussion and learned more about the area. Highly recommend staying here

We had owned a timeshare is Poipu previously and loved this area. Great location, beautiful ocean view we saw the turtles swimming in the cove everyday, watched whales breeches and were right next to some of the best snorkeling around. Condo is perfect for 2 people we did learn not to park under the trees that are close to the road, the birds will do some major droppings damage to your car over night. Great stay!

Convenience, this location is right off the beach, tucked in in a great neighborhood. Short drive to go pick up groceries or grab something to eat. The host has stock the home with everything you would need to be comfortable in or out of the water. I would definitely reconsider staying there again on my next visit to the island.

The condo is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation. It is in a pretty quiet location but very close to stores & restaurants. We enjoyed our stay & loved watching turtles & dolphins from the balcony & surfing & body boarding competition from the property. Everything was perfect. View from balcony was incredible, hope to be able to come back again some day. Parking pass ready in room made checking in easy. Its location on the ocean provided great views and the location on the island provided access to shopping and restaurants. additionally, was some of the best snorkeling on the island within walking distance of the property. The view and the AC made this VRBO worth it. However, after spending time on Kauai (it was my and my boyfriend’s first time), I wish we would’ve stayed on the North Shore. Poipu is definitely in the heart of the resort area of the island with lots of kid-friendly, crowded beaches. Since it’s where all the resorts are, the prices for food and shopping are higher - and the food options are more catered toward tourists while abandoning some of the more traditional local cuisine. The beaches on the north shore were nicer, less crowded, and more accessible to the hikes. It takes a long time to drive from the south to north shore as the roads are only on the perimeter of the island with no road straight through, so if you’re hoping for more of a couples getaway experiencing more of the local culture, I would recommend checking out places on the north shore. Otherwise, this VRBO was awesome - only other pitfall was that it was short of some supplies. For example, the batteries in some of the remotes went out but there weren’t spares provided, and we only had two beach towels to last us a whole week. The space was very nice though and a great place to return to after long days of adventuring!

The unit was exactly as described - the location is convenient with great beaches, resorts, shops and restaurants just a few minutes drive away; watching the sunrise over the cove from the lanai with a cup of coffee was amazing; great snorkeling just a short walk away; beach goodies were certainly appreciated. My wife and I spent 2.5 weeks of a honeymoon in this lovely condo. It was clean, comfortable and well situated near Poipu. We loved everything about our stay at this condo. We were able to spot a family of green Hawaiian sea turtles in the afternoon consistently towards the end of our stay directly from the balcony. Super cool!

We stayed 8 nights in this lovely condo and enjoyed every minute of it. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked for making meals, and the lanai is just perfect for eating, resting, and planning the day trips on the Island. Would definitely book this property again. Snorkeling right next door and the sunsets are just phenomenal. Owners very responsive and helpful too.

Enjoyed celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary here, sitting at the lanai and letting the trade winds blow by, dining next door at the Beach House restaurant, and making short drives to spouting horn and national tropical botanical gardens. This south side location also made it easy to reach south and west shore beaches, Waimea Canyon, and local shopping and restaurants in Koloa and Poipu. Hosts provided easy check in instructions, and local contact information as a backup.

Excellent condo fully stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. Your patio overlooks a bay with a Turtle family (3) that comes by a couple times a day. Several beaches are within walking distance, and all have their unique qualities. Kitchen allows someone to cook and still look out at the bay, very cozy living area. Bedroom and bed are very comfortable, and the thick block walls make nights super quiet. Well stocked with beach chairs, beach umbrella, etc. Only issues (nothings perfect), didn't have enough paper towels (only 1 roll), and ran out of TP (had to buy a couple of rolls). And.....if possible, to add a front screen door lock would be a great addition as you could open the patio screen and leave the non screen door open so the air could blow through. This would allow for very little AC use. Note - some might not worry about having that door open and unlocked, but not us.
