The condo is located In Kailua Kona near Kona village Free fast cable WIFI as opposed to DSL.There is a security screen door so the ocean breeze can flow through the condo. At the front door...there are no buildings or walls to block the breeze..this is the great advantage of this condo and makes this location very desirable.
The front door faces the hills and the morning sun! How perfect to just open the front door and be greeted by such beauty!!!!
Third floor lanai is above the people walking by and what you see are the waves rolling ashore, the surfers and so much more. The 3rd level of the D building at Kona Reef is perfect for viewing the surf as the white waters roll ashore over the black lava creating a contrast that represents the beauty found on the Big Island, On the lanai, you hear the sound of the waves and birds that may be singing as they fly from palm tree to palm tree. It is truly paradise... The cushy and comfortable lanai chairs are the perfect spot for enjoying your morning Kona coffee and just as awesome is taking in Kona's magnificent sunsets in the evening!
You are surrounded by beauty from the front door view to the views from the lanai...it is all a picture of paradise!

The KITCHEN offers , a glass top stove, French door refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher. microwave and granite counters. Our tropical condominium is fully equipped with you in mind. The kitchen includes a blender, rice cooker, coffee maker, coffee grinder, a large variety of pots and pans, loads of cooking utensils as well as BBQ equipment. The kitchen linens include place mats, potholders and dish clothes.
The LIVING ROOM...a chair with the ability for the foot stool to go up when you lean back that is ...if you do not want your legs to hang down..legs up is very good for the circulation and resting the weary legs that have been walking all over the Big island is good for many guests! With this amazing chair your legs can hang down or go up...your choice that is if you are not memorized by the ocean and find yourself always going to the lanai:)!.Also, there is a, bar stool in the living room, and a dining set which has been coordinated to give a light and airy tropical ole' Hawaii feel. Also in the living room there is a sofa with 2 small glass top tables in front of the sofa. As well as an entertainment center, and a wall air conditioner which cools the living room and kitchen area.
Actually, it's preferred by many to just keep the sliding doors open. and the front door open with the front security screen door locked and let the wonderful ocean breeze just flow through the condo as you enjoy the sounds of the ocean and birds...This is all your choice:)...We want you to do what you like... air conditioning with the doors closed or an open door...it is all your choice:).It is the Hawaii you have dreamed about and it is all yours to enjoy!!
Please note...as mentioned, the wall air conditioner is in the living room This wall air conditioner is designed to cool only the living room.
THERE ARE CELING FANS IN THE LIVING ROOM, IN THE BEDROOM and ON THE LANAI. :)
The bathroom has a walk in shower and a cabinet with baskets for your personal items. There is unique art piece by a local artist that reflects the feeling of being in paradise:) It is all aloha!
The BEDROOM has its own television and DVD player. There is a built in dresser as well as closets.. The bedroom does NOT have an air conditioner.. There is a comfy KING SIZE BED in the bedroom ...with the sliding door open, and the bedroom door open in the silence of the night many guests report that they can hear the waves in the bedroom...
I can too!!! And with the bedroom windows open, as well as the sliding door and bedroom door, the air flows through the condo and bedroom.. It may at night get too cool for you, toward morning, so we have blankets in the closet if the bedroom gets too chilly !
This is Kona...this is the real 'ole Hawaii at its best...beauty every where and so much to see and do... then you come back at the end of the day to relax and "talk story" on the lanai! And many guests say their favorite thing to do is have morning coffee on the lanai. Some guests report they find it very difficult to even leave the lanai. As one guests said so well,"I could have stayed on the lanai the whole trip. It was hard to get up and leave the comfy chair and the beauty...I was memorized by the sounds of the waves!"
From our LANAI (balcony...patio...deck ) only a few feet from the ocean enjoy the surfers, cruise ships, parasailers, whales, dolphins, and sea turtles... or just relax and enjoy the sunsets while dining on our private lanai...an unobstructed 180 degree view of the ocean and coastline.
