Nice condo that has been updated. Very clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Just as advertised. Building is older but still nice. Beautiful view of the ocean but other building blocks the view of the sunset from balcony. Could see it great down by the pool. Fun to watch the surfers in the morning. My only issue was furniture on the balcony was a high top table/chairs. We couldn't sit out there because of accessibility issue that prevented me from getting into a chair. Made dining in the condo difficult. The table/chairs was very nice just not accessible.

The location is great, just a 10 minute walk into town. The condo was very clean, which was what was most important to me. The only downsides were there was no hand soap, we were unable to figure out the TV in the bedroom, and the couch could use a steam clean. Honestly, it was a great stay. These things are minor, I only mention it so that the next guests have everything they need.

Nice, clean condo on a quieter end of Kailua Kona, but easy to drive to restaurant area on Ali’i and grocery stores in the surrounding area. Could walk it if we were younger ;) Well stocked kitchen, nice view from balcony and we got to hear and see pretty strong waves, as well as see some surfers!

My husband and I enjoyed a week in this condo and enjoyed every minute of it! It's very clean and comfortable. The view from the lanai is so beautiful and relaxing, and looks just like the pictures. This place is the perfect distance from the shops and restaurants so it's much quieter, but still within easy walking distance. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics so it was easy to enjoy breakfast and coffee on the lanai while watching the boogie boarders and surfers every morning.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kona Reef. The host was very responsive with any questions we had before and during our stay. The condo was clean and the location was perfect. Easy on site parking and close to all. Beautiful view on the patio. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in the condo and a great time visiting the various sites/parks along the west and northwest coastline of the island. Awesome sunsets outside the pool area and nice restaurants you could walk to. The condo was very nice and well stocked with everything you’ll need.

We came down to the Kona area after spending 4 nights in Waikoloa for the Lavaman Triathlon. The condo had everything we needed including an ocean view. The only issues we ran into was the screen door to the lanai did not open easily so we didn’t go out on the lanai much and there were quite a few homeless hanging around on the street right outside the condo.

This property has an excellent location, a beautiful view and a heated pool. The condo has excellent air conditioning and is newly remodelled with a very comfortable bed and furniture, and stainless steel appliances. It is also well stocked with lots of little extras like quality storage containers for leftovers. Sue is really easy to communicate with and very quick to respond to questions. We can't say enough about how great this property is and how great Sue is.

This condo was PERFECT for location- the view from the lanai was AMAZING!
The condo was comfortable and welcoming!
Within walking distance if you like to ealk, to so restaurants, shopping.

We had a very good experience with this lovely condo. Everything was just as advertised in the listing. The location can’t be beat, and the property is well maintained. Parking can be a bit challenging at times, but nothing that was too inconvenient. We recommend this spot, and would come back if we ever get back to Kona area.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and wish we could have been there longer. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view of the water. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. The patio is perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning and the bed is super comfortable. Easy walking distance to fun shops, restaurants, bars, and beaches. We will stay here again!! Highly recommend :)

We stayed in Kona for a week (Feb. 8-15, 2024). This property was as advertised with a great view of the ocean from the deck and living area.
The location was excellent in that we could easily walk into town, which we did several times.
The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was nicely appointed. The entry/exit keypad eliminated the worry of losing a key. The washer and dryer were much appreciated.
We were very happy with the condo.

Everything is as advertised. New flooring and kitchen counters with newer appliances. Within 5 mins walking distance to harbour area of Main Street. On site pool is great and maintenance keeps the 4 on site gas grills very clean.

Our stay in December was great. The condo well equipped, updated nicely, and has easy access to the parking. We had everything we needed and had no need to contact the property owner, Sue. She sent us good information to get started and check-in was smooth. This unit is a bit bigger than some in the complex, which was nice. It is within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. We walked to dinner three times, which made the stay more relaxing. We used the included beach chairs, towels and umbrella. They worked great. The condo is equipped with a newer washer and dryer that we utilized several times with no issues. We enjoyed the view from the lanai including spotting a pod of spinner dolphins jumping and having fun. Highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Kailua-Kona!

We had a wonderful stay in October. The condo is beautiful with all the amenities you will need. It is in walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops, which was a plus to avoid paying for parking. We even walked to a luau at the Royal Kona Resort. Sue was wonderful and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend to family and friends planning a trip to Kailua-Kona.

All my questions were answered within minutes. Directions and information was sent early and entrance tonthe home was super easy.
From entering the home it was clear this was a firt class condo. It was extremely clean roomy and up to date appliances. The lanai was breathtaking and was where we ate our home cooked meals enjoying the view of the ocean. Amazing
I couldnt say enough about the owner and the rental. If you're looking at this and considering renting, just do it, you wont regret it.

We spent 5 nights at Sue's beautiful place. Thank you for your kindness, hospitality, and warm heart. It meant a lot for us, we felt like home!! The apartment is excellent, modern, clean and as described. The balcony with gorgeous view is a bonus for both day and evening. The apartment is very conveniently located close to the beaches, with great restaurants nearby, shops, and supermarkets.
Parking and washer/dryer are a big bonus. Thank you Sue for everything. We will come back anytime and recommend this place to all our friends and relatives.

This property (condo) was all that it was advertised to be. It is thoughtfully well equipped and stocked with all items needed for a pleasant stay. The view is excellent and the pool area well maintained and clean. It is also a very short walk into downtown Kailua Kona (where paid parking is very expensive). Would recommend this property to a friend.

We we're closer to the water then we imagined. Starfish house decorated with a beachy feel. Parking was easy, always able to get a space. Perfect place to watch the sunset, the residence blowing into the shells at sundown was a special treat.
5 minutes walking distance to Don"s Mai Tai for cocktails and happy hour bites. Shopping & resturants easy walking from condo.

We have stayed at the Kona Reef condo complex several times over the years and love the proximity to the ocean and the quick walk to Kailua-Kona. This unit is superb because of its location on the end of the building, which allows for windows on two sides. With the windows open, you get terrific cross breezes and lots of light.
The decor was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, and the bathroom is gorgeous and functional.
The owner was super easy to work with, quick to respond, very accomodating, and check in was easy with a keypad at the door. We never had to carry a key with us, which we loved.
This unit is a little set back from the ocean, but you can see and hear it quite well from the patio. You can also walk down to the grass front by the ocean, and there are great lounge chairs there to use while reading and napping in the sun.
Some ammenities we thought worth mentioning - in the condo there is a closet with 2 folding beach chairs, a beach umbrella, food coolers, pool noodles, and some snorkeling fins. In the unit, there is a large TV, standing and overhead fans, and a decent blender for smoothies. I believe there is also an AC unit on the wall in the living room, but we didn't need it in December.
We would absolutely consider staying here again if it is available
