Everything is as advertised. New flooring and kitchen counters with newer appliances. Within 5 mins walking distance to harbour area of Main Street. On site pool is great and maintenance keeps the 4 on site gas grills very clean.

Our stay in December was great. The condo well equipped, updated nicely, and has easy access to the parking. We had everything we needed and had no need to contact the property owner, Sue. She sent us good information to get started and check-in was smooth. This unit is a bit bigger than some in the complex, which was nice. It is within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. We walked to dinner three times, which made the stay more relaxing. We used the included beach chairs, towels and umbrella. They worked great. The condo is equipped with a newer washer and dryer that we utilized several times with no issues. We enjoyed the view from the lanai including spotting a pod of spinner dolphins jumping and having fun. Highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Kailua-Kona!

I couldnt say enough about the owner and the rental. If you're looking at this and considering renting, just do it, you wont regret it.

Condo was very nicely decorated, clean and the bed was comfortable. The view from the balcony of the ocean was lovely and very relaxing. The condo is located within walking distance of the restaurants and shops on Alii Dr which was great for us. The property was quiet even though it’s close to everything. Very nice place to stay with beautiful sunsets over the ocean!

We spent 5 nights at Sue's beautiful place. Thank you for your kindness, hospitality, and warm heart. It meant a lot for us, we felt like home!! The apartment is excellent, modern, clean and as described. The balcony with gorgeous view is a bonus for both day and evening. The apartment is very conveniently located close to the beaches, with great restaurants nearby, shops, and supermarkets.
Parking and washer/dryer are a big bonus. Thank you Sue for everything. We will come back anytime and recommend this place to all our friends and relatives.

This property (condo) was all that it was advertised to be. It is thoughtfully well equipped and stocked with all items needed for a pleasant stay. The view is excellent and the pool area well maintained and clean. It is also a very short walk into downtown Kailua Kona (where paid parking is very expensive). We we're closer to the water then we imagined. Starfish house decorated with a beachy feel. Parking was easy, always able to get a space. Perfect place to watch the sunset, the residence blowing into the shells at sundown was a special treat.
5 minutes walking distance to Don"s Mai Tai for cocktails and happy hour bites. Shopping & resturants easy walking from condo.

The property was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The deck has the best view of the reef we watched surfers from it every evening. The pool and bbq area were spotless. Plenty of parking. Just a short walk to town and lots of restaurants.

We have stayed at the Kona Reef condo complex several times over the years and love the proximity to the ocean and the quick walk to Kailua-Kona. This unit is superb because of its location on the end of the building, which allows for windows on two sides. With the windows open, you get terrific cross breezes and lots of light.
The decor was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, and the bathroom is gorgeous and functional.
The owner was super easy to work with, quick to respond, very accomodating, and check in was easy with a keypad at the door. We never had to carry a key with us, which we loved.
This unit is a little set back from the ocean, but you can see and hear it quite well from the patio. You can also walk down to the grass front by the ocean, and there are great lounge chairs there to use while reading and napping in the sun.
Some ammenities we thought worth mentioning - in the condo there is a closet with 2 folding beach chairs, a beach umbrella, food coolers, pool noodles, and some snorkeling fins. In the unit, there is a large TV, standing and overhead fans, and a decent blender for smoothies. I believe there is also an AC unit on the wall in the living room, but we didn't need it in December.
We would absolutely consider staying here again if it is available
