The location is perfect and the view was stunning. We love having a washer/dryer. The BBQ area is great and the lanai is the perfect place for a lovely sunset dinner. We are always on the go so the space was perfect for our headquarters. There is air conditioning, but we never turned it on. The sound of the waves is magical.

If I could give this condo more stars I would! This is probably the most well equipped VRBO that we have ever stayed in. The kitchen is well appointed with cookware, utensils, and dinnerware. The bathroom has nice thick bath towels, and washcloths with extra located in the closet. They also provide very nice beach/pool towels for your use. The condo is beautifully decorated with convenient cable and Wi-Fi available. The views from the balcony are spectacular and we spent many a morning and evening enjoying watching the surfers, whales and dolphins, paddlers, and the occasional cruise ship not to mention the absolutely spectacular sunsets. The heated pool was a rare treat and we always had the pool to ourselves at 8 AM. The walk into town for dinner, drinks and shopping was just a quick jaunt. It is easy to get in and out of two tour the rest of the island and we always had a covered parking space when we returned in the evening. Management was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back to this gem of a condo!

Wow wow wow! We are so happy this condo was available. We loved sitting on the lanai, spotting whales and dolphins, relaxing while listening to and watching the waves, also watching the birds, board surfers, boats, & glorious sunsets. A bonus of being right next to the ocean is that we didn’t hear any road traffic; also the condo is on the top floor, so you won’t hear anyone walking overhead. The condo is really well stocked and everything worked well. The bed was very comfortable (with quiet sheets, no rustling noises!). It was easy to walk to the restaurants and shops and street market. The owners have a really good info binder with info about the beaches in the area, grocery stores, etc., that we utilized & appreciated. The owners were a pleasure to communicate with - very prompt and helpful. In short, everything was wonderful and we did not want to leave! We highly recommend this home stay.

This place was just so relaxing. A quiet end unit that felt private but with enough movement to be entertaining. As others have commented, the view is unsurpassed. The one thing I was looking for was coffee on the lanai every morning. It was perfect for this midwesterner who needs to go home to snow and negatve windchills. The location is indeed just minutes away from coffee shops, restaurants, healthy smoothies, and shopping. All within a comfortable walking distance. Just perfect

Didn't see the host. Unit had a sliding glass door that was in poor condition. Needed replacement. TV and wifi controllers were beyond comphrenosble I used my phone as a hotspot instead. Bedroom was small which could of been ok if there was not a huge head board extending 18" from the wall. A real toe stubber. Lani furniture was rusty.

The view from the deck is amazing! We had a great time just watching the waves and surfers. The kitchen is very well stocked. This place is perfect for a couple. It is nothing fancy, but has everything you need. Only thing I suggest bringing yourself is a pair of binoculars, the ones at the house are not good.

This is the perfect location for visiting the area. Just a 5 min walk to the stores and restaurants. There is a small public beach right next to the complex. Magic sands beach is a walkable distance or can take the heliobus. The supermarkets Kta or Foodland sack n save is fairly close. You really don’t need a car if you’re staying here. The unit is fairly well appointed. The kitchen has most everything one would need. Friends visiting commented how nicely the place was decorated. The view from the lanai is unsurpassed. Stunning sunsets every day. The bed is quite comfortable and lots of storage space for clothes. Convenient to have a washer dryer in the unit however if you any sensitivities you may want to bring your own detergent pods. Have given the host a few suggestions to make the renter experience even better. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

Didn't hear from host during stay. Not bad just didn't. Like this location a lot !! Love the walk in to town. Ocean front is great...wanted to leave slider open to listen to waves at night but 1st floor made that tough. Bed was comfy, kitchen well equipped, shower was awkward set up. Loved the ceilings and the lighting features. Little musky odor. Probably normal for ground floor but noticeable. Overall would stay at the condos again just not on 1st floor.

Unit was fabulous! Updated, clean, beautifully furnished and great amenities. We have stayed at Kona Reef numerous times - this was our first time in this unit and it exceeded our expectations. Kona Beach Properties was great host. Their "welcome packages" for bathroom, kitchen, and laundry supplies were really helpful.

View was outstanding. Sliding glass door was in horrible condition. There was a spray can of garage door lubricant on the table next to it. Had to spray the tracks every day to use the door. Air conditioning was really loud and next to the TV. Had to shut it down to watch TV or enjoy the patio. Paint and popcorn ceiling was peeling off in front of the air conditioner. Lots of black on ceiling that looked like mold. Would not want to stay there again.

I’m not sure who is considered the host. We could have used more details -it took us a couple days to locate the keys to the pool area and never did figure out how to turn on the ceiling fan in the living room. The unit is well equipped and comfortable

Million dollar view and location a quick 5 minutes to restaurants and bars. The interior does not support the view and the price tag. Beds were hard, with thin worn out sheets, minimal linens and very well used pillows. Bath towels were thin and one time use only. There was starter supplies for soap and paper products. The living room furniture is outdoor patio furniture and the outdoor patio chairs-all were uncomfortable. There was beach chairs/umbrella that did come in handy. For the price I expected the interior to support the exterior view.

The grounds are very well maintained, the pool area is fabulous. Spent several morning in the deck drinking coffee and watching whales out in the ocean.

Overall, the condo is gorgeous and the view is phenomenal. The owners were courteous - the pillows were very thin and we only had five pillows for three beds and four people total in the house but they brought new ones right away.

Finding ground floor true oceanfront condos with FULL A/C is very, very rare! This condo checked ALL of our boxes. The condo was clean and very roomy! The A/C did a great job. I also look for rentals that have ceiling fan in bedroom, and this unit had that too.I can't think of anything else that you would need that wasn't in this condo. I even saw writing paper in case you wanted to send a letter home! There were even gift bags!The kitchen had everything that you could possibly need. There were even real beach chairs to use.....not just the ones that were way too low for some of us.All of the instructions were very clear. Debbie was one of the best hosts/owners we have ever had. She was super quick to answer any of my (sometimes dumb) questions.There was a mix of ages when we stayed - some families with young kids and lots of middle age as well as retired seniors. We enjoyed chatting with folks in the hot tub. The pool was never too cold, and we enjoyed that every day. Being able to walk right out of your condo is a big plus for us, and it is a very short walk to the pool, but not so close that we ever heard any noise from there.The furniture appeared to be pretty new, and the bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. I would certainly recommend this unit to anyone planning a trip to the Big Island. Kona is a great area to stay making it a good jumping off point to explore.
