I have stayed in many units here at Kanaloa for the past 30 years. This unit is very nicely upgraded with some amenities that I have not seen in any other unit; the full wall glass door is outstanding. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would ever need, as well as the beach accessories/toys. It is extremely clean and comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home

I booked this accommodation for a conference at a nearby hotel. I enjoyed it very much, the unit was clean, well appointed and very comfy. I especially liked the parking to front door convenience. I would most definitely book again if available. We had email contact with manager which provided clear check in instructions and they were delivered in a timely manner with a reminder cntaining the same information on the day we arrived, this was very helpful not having to scroll thru my inbox to find the message standing at the door in the dark. Very thoughtful.

Beautiful view from balcony. We love the location, only 5 mins away from KTA grocery store and many restaurants.
Not as busy as downtown Kona area, more quiet, relaxing area. If you are a golfer, the golf course is literally next door of the complex. We love the facility: pool, outdoor common area for BBQ, tennis, ping pong. We used them all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quiet complex with beautiful pools, friendly staff and location convenient to stores-Longs drugs (CVS) and KTA grocery-both had reasonable grocery prices and the condo had everything we needed to cook almost all of our meals. Very close to location of many snorkeling and manta tours. One beach you can walk to is right outside the complex but a bit rocky. About 1.5 mile walk to best snorkeling beach at Kahuna Beach. Plenty of towels and other supplies.

This view cannot be beat! We were able to watch the sunset, unobstructed every day. Everything we needed was there. The grounds were very well kept, quiet and private. Everything that you see in pictures truly comes to life, you must stay here :)

Beautiful location with a great view of the ocean. Loved hearing the waves crashing on the rocks from the Lanai. Three pools gave us options, but we loved hanging at the ocean pool each night to watch the sunset. The property manager/owner was quick to respond to questions. There is a grocery And drug store close by. Convenient location to snorkeling, shopping and easy access to the highway to head North or South. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers at the condo, so you don't have to rent them or get them from your vehicle rental company. Would recommend and stay again!

Such a beautiful, well-equipped place to stay on vacation. The condo was clean, comfortable, and quiet with just the sound of the ocean outside. We loved using all the beach gear during the day, then coming back to make dinner in the large kitchen, eat out on the lanai while the sun set, and end the day with a quick dip in one of the pools. So much great photography of the island as artwork and comfy beds. We hope we get the opportunity to stay here again the next time we come visit the Big Island!

We were in Hawaii for just over a week. Regretfully, we only stayed at your location for the last 2 nights of our trip. We wish we had skipped the Hilton resort and stayed there a couple more nights instead!
The place was the perfect size for us, giving each of the kids a separate space. The back deck was wonderful. We ate our meals out there and enjoyed the view. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. If we ever go back to Hawaii, we will be booking this place. :)

Great place. Extremely large for a 1Br/2Ba. Very well stocked. Don’t bring beach gear on airplane, this place has everything you need! Boogie boards, snorkel gear, umbrellas, etc. if you want to cook, unit has everything you need. Our vacation was great!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s about 15 minutes south of Kona proper. There is a grocery store right around the corner, which was super convenient. The condo is stocked with all kinds of cookware, Tupperware, and cooking appliances. We made many of our meals and had everything we needed. The balcony is a beautiful spot to have coffee and enjoy the sounds of the birds. The kids really enjoyed the grass area where they could run around and also loved the pools. Great spot and highly recommend.

I’d like to make a review . we got here Saturday approximately 3 PM. Checked in without any issues but got inside the condo and it was hot. Very hot in here. This is not a central air conditioning unit. It has an individual units in the living room. It has a unit in the bedroom and one upstairs that you set to its own thermostat, it did seem to cool down relatively quickly after a couple hours. I just don’t understand why somebody couldn’t walk over here from the front desk and turn things on knowing that we were due here any hour . It does request that you take your shoes off, and we do take our shoes off at home, but this did not look as though it was as clean as it should be. The amount of dirt and debris on the ceiling fans was disgusting. I would not suggest turning them on. They haven’t been cleaned. mini cobwebs in the corners of the higher ceilings Upstairs, there are two single beds. Who ever is up there’s gonna be in a single bed. The bathroom seems to be riddled with termites as you can see the termite droppings from bathroom door, the molding and all of it being eaten away by termites. The upstairs actually had a sock left to the right of one of the twin beds, obviously from previous occupants. As far as towels, kitchen towels ..bathroom towels there are not enough towels here for six people if that’s who you plan on bringing six people you will not have enough towels or hand towels or kitchen towels. . Our family of four really enjoyed our stay.
The condo has an amazing ocean view from the lanai and the sunsets are top notch.
The condo is located in a quiet neighborhood and we felt very welcome by staff and other guests. The condo is the bottom of a four condo unit. If there are guests staying in the unit above, you know notice they are there, but we never actually saw them.
The Ocean View pool was our favorite to frequent with great views of the sunset. The pools were less than a five minute walk from the condo.
The condo does not have a grill located in it, but there are grills located throughout the complex. And while I wish they were a little more reliable to grill on, we were able to cook at the house when those didn’t work. (We did notify condo staff that they didn’t work when we wanted to use them and they did say they would look at them.)
The condo had all the things our family of four needed for a 10 day stay in Hawai’i, including beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear, bags and a soft sided cooler. There were also pool noodles and inflatables, but we didn’t not use them.
The bedrooms had comfortable beds and were very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking and containers to take picnic lunches to the beach. The washer and dryer were nice and worked very well. Each room had a smart TV and worked well when we wanted to relax after a day in the sun.
Overall the place was wonderful and I would highly recommend. We would stay again.

This property is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The sound of the crashing waves was intoxicating. You see the water from every room. Coffee on the Lani every morning is a great start to the day. Loved being close to town but not close enough to have noise. This unit is the BEST in the complex for location. The beds are very comfortable and the furnishings are very nice. Loved our stay here!!

This condo was amazing. The views were gorgeous (ocean and golf course views). It was a quiet neighborhood and had a great location. It was fully equipped and had everything we needed. They must've sprayed for bugs because when we got there, we found 4 dead roaches, and a couple of days later, a big live one. ick!
But overall, this was an amazing place for the money!

We liked the location, still in Kona but not in the real touristy part. Pool and hot tub right near room. The ocean view was a nice perk. I wouldn't say you could really access the ocean from the complex but there is a short walk to a nice cove. And great snorkeling and surfing beaches in a short drive. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We would stay again. AC was nice too on evenings lacking wind.

The condo is very well appointed with a fabulous ocean view. It is in a great location south of Kailua-Kona but close enough to be an easy drive to the boat harbor if you or someone in your group is scuba diving. It is an easy drive to Captain Cook, The place of Refuge, and 2 step for great snorkeling. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need. They have beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs and a beach umbrella available to make your life easier. We enjoyed playing games on the lanai while watching the sunset. We had a few issues during our stay and Suzanne was very responsive and quickly took care of them. I will definitely recommend this condo to my friends and would happily stay here again.

My partner and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The property is newly renovated, very clean and comfortable, and located in a perfect corner of the big island. Check-in was easy and hassle-free. Would highly recommend to any and all considering.
My only complaint is that the air conditioning was stuck at 77 degrees during our stay and we did not have the ability to change it. The property was perfectly comfortable during the daytime hours but for people who sleep hot you may want to keep this in mind.
All in all though, this was an excellent place to stay!

Just right for planning your own adventures or just relaxing by the pool. Cozy and convenient to a great little shopping complex and the action of Kona is a short drive. Just around the corner from guided snorkeling tours, and a nice little beach. Complex is safe, ultra clean and well maintained. Condo has everything you might need. We had a deligtful stay.

Only complaint is that this unit is extremely out dated. We had a problem with the ac but we weren’t there too long just to sleep and they had plenty of fans. The host was so very kind and responded quickly.

Repeat stay for us. This unit is everything - view, all the little things you want to make you feel at home (batteries, beach chairs, golf balls, etc).
Janice is so accommodating and very responsive. She truly cares about our stay and we feel like part of her family when we are there.

Nice location, but disappointed in stay as the unit is really old and tired. Chipping paint, stained carpets, old furniture and decor. Mismatched towels, bedding, dinnerware. Fire alarm didn’t work and basic essentials missing.
Images on listing show queen in loft, but it was two twins. Says sleeps six, old mattress in closet. Had to wash sheets as they smelled like mildew.

Great location, beautiful views, needed deep cleaning, updates and really not room enough for 6 people even with 2 small childten. Overall we loved the place with the 3 pools, close to stores and restaurants. The grounds and pool area were spotless including the gas fireplaces for bbqing. We would go back to this place. We originally were slotted for a different unit and due to some water issues we were swapped at the last minute. We are very grateful that they were able to accomodate at the last minute and we loved every minute of our stay here. It is in a prime location to accesing the North Kona side and the South Captain Cook side. Amazing views and the pools were perfect for the kids.

We had plenty of room for 3 kids and 3 adults. Very well equipped. Kids loved all the beach things. Adults loved the lanai. Enjoyed sunsets at the ocean front pool and convenient snorkeling next to condo. Doughnuts early in the morning at the KTA up the hill are amazing!

Very nice unit and excellent location. Hard to beat the beautiful ocean view from the Lanai. Condo is updated nicely, very clean, well managed. Everything we needed was there. The tables and chairs on the lanai are perfect. Descriptions and photos are accurate. Pool area was perfect for our relaxation and swim. Definitely would stay again, missing the waves already.

Wonderful! Condo location is ideal, and the swimming pools are never busy since there’s so many. Condo was well equipped with kitchen supplies and the little things like salt and pepper.
