Enjoyed our 12 night stay here, nice size for longer stays if desired. Liked having all the beach gear available and starter kits for dishwasher, washing machine and toilet paper.
Living areas and bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Best mattress I have slept on in any rental or hotel. Ac worked well. The tv took some getting used to, with the different remotes. Pool areas were very nice, lots of BBQs if you look around, they are spread out.
Suggestions: some of the kitchen items may need repair like the dishwasher door, it fell on my foot a couple of times and I was bruised for 4 days, my email complaint to guest services never received a reply.
The microwave worked off and on, the glass try kept slipping off and not rotating. The cupboard doors need better hinges so they don't reopen and slap you in the face when you don't close them all the way. Maybe some bar stools for the counter?
Otherwise, the ninja blender worked great and other items were fine.

The condo complex has three pools and tennis courts, which were great for keeping the kids busy. The Oceanside pool has a fantastic sunset view and there is a pebble beach just a minute away. Overall a really convenient place to stay.
There are a few grills near the pools, not quite convenient, so a downside if that’s important to you. Otherwise you’re just a 15 minute drive from downtown Kona or Captain Cook, both with great food options.
The condo itself is in good shape, we’ll maintained and comfortable. The lanai looks out on the manta ray snorkeling spot, so there’s a light party off shore every night, which is fun.

Beautiful view! Loved the tasteful decor. Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Clean. Nicely stocked closet with chairs, snorkel gear, umbrella and much more. We appreciated the kitchen to be well supplied for all cooking needs. Spent lots of time on the lanai watching the waves, boats and the Manta Night Dives. Master bedroom air conditioning was wonderful. Comfortable bed. Can't wait to go back. Shopping center close by.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, spacious condo with lots of closet space, well stocked kitchen. Lanai had fantastic view of the bay. Very short walk down to the bay to snorkel, saw lots of fish there. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed time spent on the beautiful oceanfront lanai watching everything from paddle boarders to boats or just watching the waves come in. The unit is well appointed and close to places to eat and shop. It’s a wonderful place to spend vacation.

This unit and the surrounding property are gorgeous. The view from the lanai is stunning and we couldn't get enough of it.
The furnishings in the unit were luxurious and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils we required. Also having all the beach and snorkeling gear in the unit was a nice plus.
This was our 2nd time staying at Kanaloa at Kona and we would happily do it again.

We really loved this unit - it is exactly as it looks in the photos, which is not always the case. The house is well stocked for cooking and activities, and is beautifully decorated. The condo community is really nice, with a waterfront pool, and the view from the unit’s veranda is lovely. The couches could be refreshed soon, but that’s a very minor note on a majorly positive property. Would definitely recommend!

The property was nice, views were excellent & location was great. Only negatives were the thermostat did not allow for a setting below 73 degrees which is fine for most, but not 50+ yr old woman prone to hot flashes. Unfortunately, my husband & I were in guest room & we’re used to sleeping at 68 degrees. Did not get a good night’s sleep the whole time we were there even with 3 fans in the bedroom. Not an issue if you’re in the master suite - it has a secondary mini split a/c.

The condo is very well maintained and beautifully clean. It has everything you could need from cooking utensils to boogie boards. The lanai looks to the south and at night you can watch the manta ray boats but the sunset is out of view. Still a lovely relaxing. Pretty good snorkeling in the bay that tje condo overlooks. The only issue we had was that it is a downstairs condo and so you hear all the footsteps from above. Since people are arriving from different time zones this messed with our sleep on a couple of nights.

An absolute beautiful stay at this property! My family and I will most definitely be back. Picture perfect view from the lanai, and a very comfortable and well appointed ocean front unit. Located in a great neighborhood within a quiet and peaceful community. The check in process was easy and gated security was nice (not that you need it but still nice). The unit itself was relatively upgraded with all we needed for a fantastic family vacation!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was very clean and comfortable. The perfect size for our family of four. We spent quite a bit of time sitting outside on the patio just listening to the ocean. The owner gave us all of the details we needed and was very accommodating when we had a special request. Excellent customer service and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The property was clean and spacious for our group of 3. Views and sounds of the surf from the lanai were absolutely the highlight for us - we spent a lot of our time just soaking that in. It was fun to see the blue lights in the water from the manta ray tour boats in the bay at night. Three pools on property - ocean pool was gorgeous, especially at sunset, but also had more people (though not crowded). There were times at the other pools that we were the only ones there. Location is convenient to many restaurants, and it's only a 15 minute drive into town where we could find just about anything we wanted. Kitchen was well stocked. A note that some items are only supplied as starter packs (dishwasher and laundry pods, toilet paper, paper towels) so be ready to purchase some for longer visits. The 2 twin beds could stand to be replaced - they sag and had foam pads in spots to help support low areas. The furniture was attractive and comfortable. We absolutely hope to return sometime very soon, and would book this unit again! Thank you!

Nicely updated, clean and beautiful view of small bay activity. We've enjoyed staying at many of the Kanaloa condos. We booked this one back in 2021 for the stay in 2022. The price we payed was fine, but $1000 per night for this condo is very overpriced. If it is brought in line to closer to $400 per night, then yes, wholeheartedly recommend it.
