Fantastic spot just south of Kailua-Kona proper! Great views, great place, looked exactly like the pictures and communication with hosts was great! The unit was clean, comfortable and well-appointed with all the things you might want/appreciate! There is a small shopping center very close-by with coffee, bookstore, a few restaurants and a Longs Drugs (handy for last-minute stuff like insect spray, more sunblock, the occasional food item, etc...). Lanai in the AM for coffee/breakfast and PM sunsets was the BEST! The property had a nice pool and tennis courts that we used a few times when not exploring, but they were not overrun as can happen with a "resort". This is a great place to explore the "big" island from the leeward/west side of the island. Easy drives to many beach spots for snorkeling, water activities and a slightly longer drive to the beaches in the north (sandy beaches) for some relaxation. A longer drive takes you to Volcano National Park and Hilo. A beautiful spot - would love to stay again!

This was an amazing place with prime location right on the ocean! My family and I enjoyed sitting out on the lanai to eat breakfast and watch the sunsets. The location is close to so many shops, restaurants, and water adventures. As an added bonus it was completely stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, yoga mats, snorkeling gear, and lots of other goodies. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to the big island!

The condo was HOT! I was expecting to have some tradewinds to help with the heat but that was not the case. The owners have several fans however half of them barely moved any air and were pretty much worthless. This condo, being on the top floor, it needs ac. I have stayed in this complex previously in a condo without ac but there were tradewinds which made it comfortable. The beds in the loft are not for adults over 6 feet, as your feet will hang off the end. As far as the cleanliness, there was some mold in both showers, a partial left over, half eaten sandwich dried up behind the couch which was visible because of the sliding wall behind the couch. There so many roach traps throughout the condo, it was crazy. The furniture needs replaced as you are sitting on wood or steel, like the padding is completely worn out. The cushions on the patio are threadbare with not much padding left on those either. The refrigerator needs replaced as the freezer door did not close completely and the ice maker did not make ice consistently. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and cookware. The condo was also well stocked with recreational equipment, bath towels, and beach towels, all nice quality. The recreational area for the complex is very well cared for along with the grounds. All in all the stay was good but I would not stay here again unless updates to the refrigerator, furniture, better fans or ac were made.

The property grounds were pretty; although we didn't use the pool or ammenities. The view from the windows and patio was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had some spices and knives etc which was helpful. Our biggest issue revolved around the AC unit. Upon arrival the unit was hot and muggy because the AC was non-functional. We texted with the property manager and they attempted to walk us through operating it. The unit was ultimately non-functional and, despite paying the AC daily fee, we had no AC for 4 of our days. During the day we were out, but we had several people who needed that nighttime reprieve from the heat, so it was a real challange. The Property Manager did help coordinate getting it fixed, but, it took time. Time for the repair folks to get the parts etc and several visits (which means more people in the unit while we were not there). While it wasn't a trip ruiner, it was a hassle having to coordinate and consistently reach out to the property manager since we were not getting regular updates (even of, "hey, we are still working on this, but don't have a day yet.") We were refunded the AC daily fee for the 4 days; however, the property manager didn't offer any other reimbursement or compensation for the inconvenience. We understand that "things break" but it seems reasonable to have the AC's checked by the turn-over staff to ensure that things are in working order before guests arrive. Overall, it is a nice unit, but frustrating experience.

Great spot. Beautiful sunsets. The activities that we booked were nearby like the night manta ray snorkel where we met them near the outrigger and the surf lesson was at Kahaluu Beach. We made full use of the washer and dryer and the kitchen. The AC was necessary in late May/early June. It was nice to have the chairs and umbrella and snorkels available for use. We would recommend to friends and come back in the future.

Property itself was amazing! The views were a 10/10. Clean, plenty of space and room for a family of five. There are a couple beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and cooler provided.My only complaint was the provisions in the Unit, NO coffee was provided, NO shampoo, conditioner or soap and 1 role of paper towels for a week stay. Needless to say we had to get the next morning to go shopping.One other thing to note: The noise from the unit above is ridiculous. It sounds like they’re walking around in concrete shoes. All that aside this unit was awesome for our family. Just a few small issues but overall we had a great time.Overall amazing view great central location to pretty much everything on the island would definitely rebook.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The condo felt spacious for us (two people) and was open and cheerful. The vaulted ceiling in the main space allowed for a feeling of openness. The condo was well-appointed and had helpful supplies to make use of when going to the beach. My favorite part of the condo was the amazing balcony. It is large with ample seating and was an incredibly relaxing place to sit and have breakfast, read a book, and watch the sunset in the evenings.The host was responsive when we arrived and had concerns about the cleanliness of the condo. He arranged for the housekeepers to come out and address our concerns at a time that worked with our schedule.Other than that, the bedroom near the front door had a musty smell. We tried to air it out as best we could to mitigate that.The a/c seemed to work very well and space was overall very comfortable. The grounds of the property of neat and well-maintained. While we didn't end up using the pool, it looked very nice and relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The unit has a beautiful ocean view, and being able to hear the waves from the bedrooms at night—and even while showering upstairs—made the stay feel extra peaceful. The community is very quiet with lush, well‑kept grounds that add to the relaxing atmosphere.There’s no air conditioning, but the cross‑breeze with the windows open was lovely for us. Still, it’s something to consider depending on personal comfort. The location is great too: close to grocery stores and restaurants, yet far enough from the busy tourist areas to feel calm and private. We especially loved spending quiet mornings on the lanai.We did experience one unusual night where guests in another unit next door were extremely loud and inebriated late into the evening, yelling, cursing and drinking on their lanai. With the windows open it was definitely disruptive, but the host/property manager handled it quickly, and it didn’t happen again. Parking was easy, close by, and made coming and going simple.It was just my husband and me on this trip, and we would absolutely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway. I can’t speak in detail about all the kitchen utensils since I bring my own due to a gluten allergy, but there were items available, and the provided soap and shampoo were a nice touch. My only small suggestion would be to include basics like salt and pepper.Overall, a lovely and calming place to stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at this location on the Big Island. It was close in proximity to a wonderful snorkel beach and if you love big waves, there is a great sandy beach near by.Dennis & Maria were incredible hosts and were incredibly quick to respond if we needed anything at all. I also appreciated them checking in to see if we needed anything during our stay.The home is very clean and we had all the amenities that we needed. Our only hope would have been to have beach chairs vs camping chairs for the beach. The patio was our favorite spot to start the day, watch the sunset and relax after a full day of adventure. I highly recommend this home to anyone staying on the Big Island.

You can't ask for a better view in Kona! My group loved making a couple pots of coffee and enjoying a slow morning on the porch overlooking the water. Plenty of space for our group of 6 adults. Clean, nice amenities, convenient access to the main Ali'i Rd and grocery stores. Would love to stay here again! Another plus was how well the A/C worked in all rooms of the house - we stayed in 3 total properties over our 10 days in Hawaii, and this one was by far the coolest temperature wise :)

NO AIR CONDITIONING With temperatures in the mid to high 80s and very high humidity during the month of May, this unit got uncomfortably hot during the day even with every fan available turned up high. To return to this townhome after the day's activities to change for dinner found it very hot and stuffy. The unit did cool down starting before sunset with a nice cool ocean breeze, and sleeping was comfortable with the windows open.

Over-all a wonderful place to call homebase while visiting the Big Island. Beautiful to watch the sunset from the balcony! Accommodated 4 adults wonderfully. Well decorated and kitchen was well supplied. Enjoyed the equipment provided to play pickleball and enjoyed the pool area. Unfortunately, there was a slight problem as we had a few roaches in the bathrooms and around the sink in the kitchen. The host responded with apology and did arrange for pest control to address the problem. We would rebook.

Location, Location, Location! You can't ask for better. Corner unit, just a few steps away from the sand with the sound of ocean waves to lull you to sleep. A morning cup of coffee on the lanai is remarkable. The town of Kona is only a few short miles away... with more sand beaches to choose from. Shopping and excellent restaurants are all around! Sally (the host) was very responsive to our few issues (nothing major). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this townhouse.

The location and views are absolutely spectacular, and the lanai was one of our favorite parts of the stay. Even though there is no A/C, the unit keep daily enjoyable with the ocean air and bottom unit. The kitchen was also very well stocked, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. Overall, this is a beautiful condo with incredible potential. That said, the unit feels overdue for updates. Much of the condo appears unchanged for 15–20 years, with dated furnishings throughout. The wicker furniture especially felt tired and uncomfortable — I understand the Hawaiian aesthetic, but some of these pieces are past their prime and uncomfortable. The mattresses were also extremely firm, which may not suit many guests.The cleaning was adequate on the surface, but the condo would really benefit from a thorough deep clean and refresh. With some updated furnishings, newer mattresses, and a little more attention to maintenance and cleaning, this property could easily be a 10/10 experience.

Condo was clean, furniture was standard and acceptable, great view as per VRBO website, response to one request answered promptly.Kitchen was substandard:Non-stick fry pan and two sauce pans were unserviceable, including damaged surfaces plus fry pan lid missing its handle. We replaced the large fry pan because it was unusable and left it there. Preferable to have either plastic or wood utensils to protect nonstick surfaces-when the items are replaced with new ones!Various silverware from various garage door finds, also rust on some silverware and most knives in the counter block were rusty.Very slim inventory of glassware and only two small bowls that would be used for fruit, yogurt, etc., Plastic plates less than desirable. Plastic cutting boards are a joke.It would be great to have the following:Salt, one box of Kleenex, enough large trash bags so we can take out the daily because we are staying in a tropical environment.Miscellaneous problems:Dirty ice chest, broken Beach chair that was replaced, ironing board cover is stained. Some bug problems including tiny little crawling bugs in the kitchen and two cockroaches. Consider exterminator service.I hope you advise the management company Knutson and Associates about all these problems and the good comments.Sincerely, Annette

The view is unbeatable, the spaces were all even larger than the pictures made them seem, it was extremely well stocked and it’s in one of the buildings at the edge of the complex so it was peaceful and quiet. The views are spectacular being a corner unit with no condos to the left, and just the open ocean in back. We spent most of our time enjoying the wrap around Lanai, listening to the waves and enjoying the ocean view. The condo is nicely decorated, clean and well kept. The property is located in a beautiful gated community and the home itself was very clean upon arrival. We knew going into our stay that there was no air conditioning, which was fine, however the ceiling fans only worked on one speed which made it difficult at times. Unfortunately, the moment we walked in there was a noticeable odor throughout the home, and the carpeting appears to be in need of replacement. The sliding doors were extremely difficult to open and close due to corrosion, and several of the kitchen cabinets would not shut properly. We had also hoped to use the snorkeling gear and lawn chairs provided, but both were very old and worn out.Overall, the home has great potential and is in a wonderful location, but it definitely needs some tender loving care and an updated facelift to match the beautiful surroundings.unfortunately the pictures are deceiving.

Talk about front row seats….just picture yourself sitting on the lanai, watching and listening to the ocean waves, as well as a good spot for great stargazing. The complex has well-maintained grounds and is convenient to restaurants and K-K activities: the beach, snorkeling, shopping, and the complex offers a nice pool, tennis and pickleball courts. Because the unit Is in an end building, it was nice and quiet. Our unit was spacious as condos go, and had plenty of room for 4 adults. Kitchen has everything you need, and there was thought given to amenities such as everything needed for a day at the beach, games for family game night, guidebooks, etc. as well as W/D in the unit. Communication and checkin processes were timely and information was on-point.

The location was perfect for taking advantage of everything Kona has to offer, with great restaurants, shopping, and beaches nearby. One of the highlights was the fantastic snorkeling beach just a short distance away — we saw amazing fish and enjoyed spending time there almost every day. We also took advantage of a nearby golf course, which was very close and convenient.The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring.
