We had a great stay at this property. It is a little dated in areas, and could use a little updating, but it was clean, comfortable, and extremely relaxing. There is nothing like being able to walk out of the back patio door, sit on the deck, and watch the beautiful sunsets. It's close enough to Kona to be convenient, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Theres no question that we would stay at this property again when we come back to the Big Island.

The condo is in a beautiful area of Kona right on the water. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms, which was a must for night time sleeping, but no a/c in the living areas. We did find if the windows and sliding door was open that it was must more pleasant. The beds were ok to sleep on, not super comfortable. The condo did show a little aging in the building and furnishings but was comfortable.

The unit was very comfortable, clean and fully stocked including lots of beach accessories, it is close to downtown and other locations including a grocery store and restaurants. The pool area is fantastic and well maintained. I take full responsibility for not asking the question and making an assumption, but this unit does not have air conditioning. The listing does not specify wither way. If you are extremely heat sensitive it could be an issue for you during your stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Check in was easy and it was all incredibly peaceful. The waves could be heard from every room in the house and we spent a lot of time sitting outside on the lanai. It was nice to have a room with two single beds for our teens and the washer and dryer was an amazing feature. There were all the little amenities we needed to have a great stay for a week. Air conditioning is a must for us when we come to Hawaii, so we were very comfortable. We appreciated the boogie boards, beach umbrella, and beach chairs too. Can't beat the view!! Don't be concerned about the no A/C... Open up the doors for a cross breeze and they stocked the room with fans so you don't notice it much and we went in late July. Did I mention you can't beat the view?!?!?!

The unit was clean and nicely laid out for our family. The resort has nice grill and kid-friendly pool facilities. We saw several turtles swimming in the sea right by the unit. Unfortunately it was too dangerous to snorkel there because of the proliferation of urchins on the rocks that made it tricky to get in and out. Other beaches are a half mile away. The AC in one room was not working and a tech spent a whole afternoon there but it still stopped working that night.

The unit was about a half mile from a safe snorkel beach than - the nearest beach was rocky and covered with sea urchins. But we did get to see several turtles right out our door.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful condo. It is extremely spacious and well equipped and its position in the end building gave it that extra bit of privacy. The wrap-around lanai is the perfect place to sit and enjoy just watching and listening to the ocean, absolutely gorgeous! The location is fantastic, within easy reach of Kona and amenities like a supermarket right nearby. The check-in process was very easy and information provided by the host was clear and detailed. All the basics and more were provided and there is plenty of beach equipment that you can borrow! Overall, we had a fantastic stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend!

Perfect for our family vacation with our kids and grandkids. We stay in this complex a lot and love this location. Our older grandson loved having his own space in the loft area. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved having the ice chest, beach chairs and umbrella for our beach days. The beds were comfy and there's plenty of space for your belongings. The only thing that would bring this property to all 5 stars for us would be the addition of A/C. We normally book properties with A/C and I missed it on this one. Our July trip fell during a warm spell without much of a breeze or trade winds. There were several fans and we ended up purchasing two more stand up fans at Walmart that helped a lot, especially for sleeping. This probably wouldn't be an issue during winter/spring months. Overall a great property.

We had a first floor condo, the check-in was very smooth, we were able to check in a couple of hours earlier after contacting management, they were very accommodating. The number pad was very convenient, no fussing with a key. The floor plan was great, I liked the kitchen opening right into the main room. We all enjoyed the screened patio, and the beds were fantastic! Incredibly comfortable mattresses. We were here on the Big Island for a women's snorkeling trip, the condo was located well to snorkel on the south and north side. Also very close to the shopping center. Would stay here again.

Where do I start -- the communication with the hosts Marisa and Mele was extraordinary. Mele was our primary contact and her response time to answer a question was as if she was sitting at the computer waiting on my message. I cant' say enough about how well organized and responsive they were. The condo was everything I expected plus some. The location is perfect. A great view and close to everything Kona had to offer - pickleball, golf, restaurants, and shopping. If you are considering this condo for your stay -- DO IT. There was nothing better that sitting on the balcony at sunset. The picture I attached is the sunset off of our deck.

Our stay was wonderful. We appreciated the details like having beach equipment and a cooler available and night lights in the condo. The well equipped kitchen and washer dryer really helped our family for the logistics of life. We loved the beach access for the kiddos to play in the sand (not a swimming beach) and watch sunsets. We had an excellent time here and really love this unit. We had two small kids in a big bedroom downstairs and they actually slept really well. Our two bigger kids were upstairs and also liked their beds. The stairs were find for the bigger kids, but they are pretty open, as a caution to anyone staying with young kids. We didn't let our toddlers go up and down them. The master king bedroom was great, and we thought the bed was super comfortable. There were overhead fans and plenty of standing ones that helped mitigate the heat. The lanai was pleasant with the fans, and had a nice view of the golf course. The place was stocked with everything we needed, including gear for the beach and pool. We had an issue with two fans while we were there, but they fixed them promptly within a day. The window by the entry was being replaced while we were there, which we were uninformed on, so that was mildly disruptive for about half our stay. Probably the only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars. But overall, we really like this unit and would definitely stay again. Nicely decorated too!

I wish I could give a 4.5 stars. There were just a few little things that were less than perfect. We had to buy our own toilet paper ,soap, and shampoo etc. It would have been nice if those things could be restocked during a longer stay. The sleep sofa was not at all comfortable. Most people probably don't need to use it, but we did. Other than that it was great. We really enjoyed the whole complex and the condo itself. Great location and great extras like pickleball and tennis equipment. Some beach supplies as well. We had a great time there!

Location, location, location! This comfortable and well-stocked condo sits right above the wave action on the rocks. (You will miss that sound when you go home.) A small, almost private black-rock beach is a quick walk to the north end of the complex. (Locals like this spot. So do the sea turtles.) Keauhoe Shopping Center is just a quick 5-minute drive up the road. (Nice KTA grocery store, Long's Drug, several restaurants, a bookstore, ...) It is just outside Kona for peace and quiet but only a short drive into town. (Take the free trolley/bus from KTA and save paying 26 for two hours.) End your day sitting on the communal patio for the five units by watching the sunset. (Maybe the green flash?)The owner/host deserves 10/5 stars! for his quick responses and helpfulness.Mahalo!

This was a great location. Right on the ocean. Loved the first floor, walk right out to enjoy. Really enjoyed all the amenities that came along with this unit. There were quite a few things in the pantry to help with meals. Having a washer and dryer is a game changer. Pack light and go enjoy! There is not air conditioning, but having the windows open, supplied fans and ocean breezes make it comfortable.

FABULOUS!! I cannot say enough about this rental. The views were gorgeous especially the sunsets. The condo was well equipped with everything you need. We did not want for anything. Beach was a one minute walk and we pretty much had it to ourselves everyday. Hosts were awesome and replied quickly to any questions we had. Shopping plaza nearby with anything you could need available. Also close to town with shops and restaurants and only 20 minutes from the airport. We were able to pretty much explore the entire island on day trips. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.
