The unit has very little privacy and with 2 bedrooms and a loft would not expect to be staying with just one couple. The neighbor strictly enforces quiet time at 9 pm even when you’re in your own unit talking or watching tv. There was no pickleball paddles or ping pong even though the property has both available.

My family and I had a great experience!! The grounds were beautifully landscaped and manicured. The place was equipped with everything you could ever need including beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, coolers. Location was close to all the beaches, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed our 2-bedroom condo with 2 baths and a loft. It was well provisioned with beach chairs, umbrella, boogie-boards, lots of beach towels and coolers so we could easily enjoy Hawaii!
The kitchen has all we needed to cook our meals, which we did like at home. There was an outdoor porch that afforded us room to dine out and to relax, enjoying the beautiful surroundings. There was even a small outdoor couch.
The condo has beautiful art throughout which made the environment feel welcoming. The entire space was artfully decorated. We had a great time making this home base to eat and relax together between our island explorations.
The owners named their condo “House of Joy.” That was our overall experience!
The property management team was communicative and responsive to all of our inquiries. They replaced a faulty smoke detector right away and even arranged an early check-in.

Lovely community. So clean and well-tended. Spotless, really, inside and out. People friendly. Rental had everything you would ever need. So nice having the grocery just up the hill. A big plus. Very well situated, entirely. Would definitely use the Club again.

This property was a wonderful place to stay during our adventure around the Big Island. The condo was lovely - it had plenty of room for four adults and two children (they loved the loft). The large lanai was perfect to enjoy our meals and relax to watch the sunsets, sunrises, and the sounds of the birds. The Surf and Racquet property grounds were amazing - very well maintained with lots of interesting areas to explore. The kids especially liked the swimming pool and all the interesting trees and plants.
Our family enjoyed the short walk to the shore to take in the sunsets and the water access at the north end of the property to look for turtles, fish and other creatures. We also appreciated the barbecue pavilion close by for cooking meals and many visitor parking spots as we had a second vehicle. The shopping centre just up the road (2 minute drive) was so convenient for shopping - grocery store, drug store, book store and various restaurants. We really liked this location as a home base for our many day trips around the island. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return again one day!

We stayed at a few places during our trip to the Big Island and this was by far our favorite. The apartment was clean, beautiful, and in a great location only a short drive to many attractions. The open-concept layout of the house made for great airflow and cooled off the place enough at night with all the fans running. It was a peaceful place to stay with enough pots and pans and tools in the kitchen to cook meals and we appreciated the many sitting areas around the apartment for relaxing both on the balcony outside and in the living room inside. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back.

Our family stayed here over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The condo is exactly as described. Very clean and was stocked with everything we needed (Coolers, beach chairs, sand toys and boogie boards were all provided). The kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of linens and towels. The property is lovely and very well maintained. We spent a couple days at the pool and playing some table tennis while cooking out on the grills. The condo is in a perfect location in Kona. You are close to everything. Restaurants, beaches, shopping etc. There is even shoreline access within the property with some nice early morning tide pools to explore. The lanai is huge with a view of the golf course, a perfect place for morning coffee. We would definitely stay here again. This was one of our best vacation rental experiences to date. Highly recommend.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Apartment entsprach genau unseren Erwartungen. Wir sind zum Ironman angereist und es war auch von der Lage her alles perfekt. Ganz besonders hat uns der Zugang zum Meer gefallen und die tollen Klappstühle:), auf denen wir so manche Stunde die Seele haben baumeln lassen. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist sehr gut. Sollten wir wieder einmal Big Island besuchen würden wir ganz sicher wieder dort absteigen.

Location is great, being close to everything Kona and Condo grounds is very nice. Unit itself is exact to pictures. Well appointed amenities and mostly stocked kitchen. Note it is on the 3rd floor and no elevator. Also note, there is no AC; being on the top level with little airflow thru the home makes it extremely stuffy. We mentioned this as a concern and a couple days later we got some extra fans. Booking management is amazing and super customer oriented.

We enjoyed our stay in this fantastic unit in Kailua-Kona. The unit is very well appointed and has tons of space for a large family. The master bedroom has lanai access an a private bathrooms. The bathrooms are the nicest I've seen and the shower pressure is excellent. Kitchen is very well equipped and and has many gadgets to cook any meal. The lanai is spacious and is overlooking a gold course. The condo pool was a wonderful respite on hot balmy afternoons that kids loved. The management team was very responsive and handled any issues quickly. A few more tiny shampoos and conditioners would have been great as well as a few extra dishwasher pods. Overall, a great stay at a reasonable price that we enjoyed.

We absolutely loved this place! It’s in a perfect central location. Close to stores, food, and beaches. My husband and the kids would walk out to the black sand beach in the mornings to fish and play in the tide pools. The condo is spacious with big comfy beds, nice bathrooms, and a kitchen stocked with everything you need. I’ve decided a washer/dryer is a must from now on because having the ability to do a load of laundry everyday was amazing. The lanai has a beautiful view of the golf course and we loved having our coffee out there and watching the birds in the morning. They had beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, pool floats, and an umbrella for use. We wouldn’t think twice about booking this place in the future!

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect for our family, and the condo was super with the loft for the kids. The beds were so comfy, and the golf course was a lovely view. We loved walking out on it to view the sunset. We would have started Laundry, but there was no detergent. A few more garbage bags would have been helpful as well as an additional roll of paper towels, since we ate dinners there every night, but aside from that it was perfect and we hope to return! :)

It was a great place to stay, everything was clean and it has everything u need for a stay, from dishes and silverware to towels and beach towels. No AC but it’s not really needed since at night it was really fresh with the windows open. Also, very quiet place, great to get away.

Nice condo recently updated and very well equipped. Keahou is convenient to Kona with Magic Sands Beach not too far away. Car rental needed.
