The unit was clean and well stocked. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The beds are very comfy as is all the furniture. My only comments are the description says three bedrooms when in reality it's two bedrooms and a loft, which opens up to the living room. Less privacy than expected. Also, the beach gear provided is plentiful, however, the boogie boards were mostly broken.
Also there's no air conditioning.
Overall I would recommend this property.

The property was very well located and had access to all needed amenities. Plenty of space and (mostly) well equipped.
The bad. When we arrived the ceiling fan in the kitchen was not working. We messaged the property manager and they sent a handyman. They were able to turn the power off (motor was overheating but blades not turning); but never returned to fix it. The floor fan in the loft did not work (power button broken, sent message but never got a reply), only one side of the toaster worked and lastly many of the screens on the windows and doors were torn. This led to the ugly. When we opened doors we were inundated with bugs, a big issue but not a deal breaker. The biggest issue were the cockroaches. Every day we killed 2-5 in various areas. We knew there was an issue as there are roach traps in various corners. It’s very off putting to have to kill roaches on your vacation. This is the reason for not wanting to re-book or recommend to anyone.

We lived in Kona for some years but it had been a long time since we've visited. The place was just what we hoped and the perfect size for our family of six. It was well equipped and had all the beach supplies you need to enjoy the island. A huge plus over staying in a hotel.

The spoons had rough edges though I got a cut in my lips.the sun blinds were totally distroyed and therefor useless.The whole equipment seemed to be older than 15 years.In Germany you would rent this unit twice the first and the last time.Normally we should get money back because of these circumstances.

It was so peaceful and quiet staying at this beautiful condo at Keauhou Punahele. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the golfers play on the adjacent golf course. We also enjoyed late nights on the balcony listening to the high surf crash against the shore line when the ocean got rough! Also enjoyed relaxing inside the condo enjoying our books when it was too hot to enjoy the balcony. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this condo and will hopefully book it for next year if it is available!!

This was a stay vacation for we live in Hilo. I love Hilo but it rains a lot and Kona side was sunny and beautiful. This condo is located on the 7th hole of the Kona Coast Country Club golf course and the view every day is amazing. The condo was great, it had everything you can think of. Most of the week was my husband and I but my daughter and her husband and two keikis came for the weekend. Enough space for everyone, this condo is bigger than our hale in Hilo. The only minus would be finding parking for the extra car, and you have to be very quiet. (Though the downstairs condo was partying all weekend, they kept it down and it didn't bother us.) So here is the thing. We actually have a week at the Kona Coast Resort but couldn't this week, so we would definitely come back here again if we don't have our week. Mahalo, it was a great stay vacation.

Cornelis was very responsive to any of our questions. This is a lovely condo with views of the ocean and golf course. The condo had everything we needed for a two week stay (well equipped kitchen, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas). It could use a little updating (e.g replace carpeting with lvp flooring), but overall was clean and comfortable. Would rent again!

Having three bedrooms and three baths for travelers aged between 14 and 78 was essential to family harmony and much appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked so did not have to run out for condiments or a decent spatula so again much appreciated. The neighbors were so friendly and helpful; we enjoyed meeting them. Two nearby farmers' markets on two different days offered fresh fruit and other goodies: fantastic!

The condo has a community pool, its own bbq and everything you need to cook meals. 5 min drive to a grocery store, coffee shop and farmers market. Right up the hill from the Outrigger (walking distance). Would highly recommend this for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the Big Island.

From the condo to the property grounds, this condo was beautiful and very comfortable. Everything is very clean and very well taken care of. The condo owner made sure we had clear directions to the condo, entry directions and even had her amazing coffee, fruit and avocados for us. Helen was truly an amazing host. She met us at the condo when we checked in to make sure everything was fine and we had no questions. She made 2 beautiful bouquets of flowers from her garden to grace the condo. Her large bowl of fresh fruit was greatly appreciated and delicious. She provided coffee grown on her trees that she harvested and roasted along with the descriptions. It’s the best coffee we ever tasted. Throughout our stay she answered questions, made some suggestions and offered to bring even more bounty from her garden. The condo itself was large and spacious and quiet. It overlooks the pool, a golf course and the ocean. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone considering renting on the Big Island. It is our favorite condo we have ever stayed in anywhere. The personal attention and her attention to detail made it most memorable.

The unit is in a well situated location, easy to get to and venture out to everything on the Big Island. The management company was very good at ensuring easy access to the condo and being available to us if we needed assistance with anything. The size of the unit was perfect for four adults and had all the amenities we required. The location of the unit within the complex was great, we had a pool and ocean view and really enjoyed the evening sunsets. We also appreciated that the quiet times were adhered to. The furniture within the unit needed some cleaning, which was being done after our check out. As well, it might be time to get new mattresses for the beds. they are getting a little tired and for some, too soft. All and all, we had an excellent experience in this condo and would not hesitate to go back again or recommend to others.

The condo was exactly as described and well supplied with anything a family could need for a Hawaiian vacation including beach gear (chairs, boogie boards, coolers etc) and a fully stocked kitchen. The space was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The washer and dryer came in handy with all the beach days. The ground floor lanai was a beautiful spot to enjoy a morning coffee and watch the sunset. The location was great- 2 minute drive or walk to Keahou bay for boating excursions (snorkel tours) and easy drive to grocery shopping and beaches. Sierra was excellent and responded quickly to any questions. We were extremely happy with the accommodations and the easy communication. We would love to return!

The condo was perfect for 5 ladies celebrating a birthday week. We appreciated having the barbecue on the lanai. We ate most our meals at the condo- kitchen was well supplied. Improvements that would be the rental: need some sharp knives; need a new toaster (only 2 of 4 slice holders worked).
Also was disappointed that the condo advertised a Smart TV — but wasn’t available. Couldn’t stream Netflix or other online platforms. Couldn’t mirror photos on my phone to the TV.

The condo in Keauhou Punahele was the perfect location to stay for our annual trip to the Big Island. The condo is well situated to provide a quiet sanctuary nestled next to the Kona Country Club. But close enough to the Keahou Shopping Center and only minutes from Kailua. The unit is well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very spacious for the 3 of us. This turned out to be an excellent location for us, about halfway between Kailua and Captian Cook, where the majority of activities we did were located such as snorkeling, farm tour, outrigger canoe trip, kayak rental and national historical park. Plus the night manta ray snorkel is just down the street! We found good dining options in Captain Cook as well as in Kailua. Our stay was in December, so it was comfortable enough without air conditioning, 80 during the day and about 70 at night. It is a very quiet community and was safe enough to leave the sliding doors open. Kitchen had everything we needed for the bit of cooking we did, and there were plenty of beach towels, 4 beach chairs, a big cooler bag and other hard and soft sided coolers and ice packs, oh and two boogie boards, which our teens enjoyed. This condo had everything we needed and we never even looked for the bikes. My only suggestion for the owners would be to have the cleaning staff pay a little more attention to dusting the fans and cleaning light switches and remotes, but that has been the case for 4 out of 5 vrbos I've stayed at.

Condo was nice, but really was not that clean. We moved a chair and a piece of “chocolate” came out. The floors didn’t seem clean at all. We were hoping for a few more spices in the kitchen besides just salt and pepper and sharper knives but the rest of the dishes and pots were good. Unfortunately the coffee grinder didn’t work. The bathrooms were super nice. Whenever we communicated with the property management, we received a quick response. We enjoyed the pool area. We just wished it was opened a little later. Two of the beach chairs were great but two were bad. We would have really liked boogie boards as well. Some of the shoes and snorkel masks left in the bins were rotten.
All in all a great trip with adequate accommodations
Add $5 per night to the fees and supply good beach chairs. Boogies boards. Spices, oil , sugar, and other basic cooking items and the place would be a 7 plus.
As is. 5.5 is our rating.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was as pictured, and from the moment we walked in it felt like home. The beds were very comfortable, as well as the living room furniture. Kitchen was clean with great work space. We had everything we could possibly need.
The sunset views from the lanai were amazing! It was also fun to just relax and enjoy watching the birds, and hilariously, the wild goats that come and go on the golf course.
Since we were so off course from our regular schedule at home and work, I woke repeatedly throughout the night. I loved just stepping out of bed and onto the lanai to enjoy the night skies, or early morning coffee as the sun rose.
There were ample supplies of beach toys, as well as a nice size cooler. We especially appreciated this since we were at beaches every day, all day.
We would HIGHLY recommend doing the manta ray dive. It was an experience none of us will forget! You can also walk down to the viewing deck at the Outrigger to just watch the mantas come in.
We like the relaxed and more private location of this property. We put many, many miles on our rental jeep, since we wanted to do a lot of exploring, including hidden beaches.
It was very warm in the condo, but our understanding is that this is the way it is on this island with no A/C. No problem at all. There were more than enough fans to keep us comfortable.
I'll just say, no complainers allowed here, please, because we loved it and want it to stay the same!

You will not be disappointed. Location is centrally located for everything we had planned, snorkeling, coffee tours, national parks and so much history. The sunsets are beautiful from anywhere in the home. It was incredibly clean, comfortable and quiet to relax. Helen is lovely and brought us yummy avocados and coffee and made sure we were taken care of. Such an enjoyable time.

Marilyn was an extremely responsive and accommodating host. The condo was well-kept and well-equipped, in an excellent location. The only two negatives I would point to:
1. It’s something of a tight fit for six people if they are not all from the same family, as the loft bedroom really affords little privacy.
2. The second main floor bedroom runs hot, even with the use of fans. This problem is exacerbated by the type of sheets/bedding that are used, as they are a t-shirt type of material which retains heat. This would be an easy fix.

Though unit is considered ground floor, you do have a set of approx 18 steps down/up from the parking area. Tip to make it easier is a sloping path from managers office if you can't do stairs.
