We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts provided amenities above and beyond the standard starter kit of paper products, toiletries, kitchen, and cleaning products. We loved the AC in the bedrooms and the fully equipped kitchen. And while there was no AC in the living room, we opened the patio doors and the front door and enjoyed the trade winds. Thank you to our hosts for helping us feel “at home” in their home.

My family of four had a great time at this condo. It was fully stocked with board games, books, snorkeling gear, and all the beach stuff you would need.
We even bought some pickleball paddles and left them at the condo for future renters.
Michael was attentive and amazing to work with.
You can’t beat the view and can’t beat the closeness to the shopping center.
In fact, my wife and I would walk over to the local coffee shop (highly recommend them) each morning. It was a quick 5 minute walk.

This condo lies in an excellent location with beautiful views of the golf course and ocean beyond from inside the condo and from the spacious lanai. We rented for 6 weeks and enjoyed our entire stay. The owner, Kevin is very helpful and easy to contact should you have any concerns. We also rented Kevin’s car which worked out well and was very convenient.

My family and I recently stayed for 10 days at Michael's condo. From the time of booking to the end of our stay, Michael maintained great communication. Whenever I had any questions and messaged him, he would respond promptly.
The property was clean and quite roomy for our family of 4. The view from the lanai/balcony was great. We even saw a whale breeching from the lanai early on during our stay, albeit at a distance. The condo is also conveniently located right off Alii Hwy and just 10~15 minutes from Kailua-Kona, etc. Given the proximity to the road, you will hear some traffic noise during peak hours from one of the bedrooms and the kitchen. The property is on the 3rd level, which provides a great view of the ocean side, but do note that there is no elevator. My family and I enjoyed our stay at the condo while visiting Big Island.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to the Big Island, and Kona Country Club. This property had all that we needed for our stay. We absolutely LOVED the lanai...it was awesome! The view of the ocean, and watching the sunsets was incredible! Loved the pools, and the hot tubs. As previously noted, there was an issue with the guest bathroom toilet, which my husband also tried to fix. A few cleanliness issues, but nothing we couldn't deal with. The property management company, Coldwell Banker Island Vacations was easy to work with and very helpful! Overall, it had everything we needed, and again... absolutely LOVED THE VIEW, the lanai, and the pool! Also enjoyed watching the golfers at the 18th hole!

Everything was nice and clean. No issues at all. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside was it was about 5 miles from town, which wasn't bad except when traffic was heavy. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

The owner - Michael had been very responsive since we booked this condo. The location was close to stores, restaurants, Kona, the main roads to get to other areas of the island and the ocean. The condo was well stocked with many of the necessities that was needed for the stay. It was well decorated and the views...wonderful! Specifically at sunset! We had three adult couples and were all comfortable and had plenty of room. We loved our stay here! Thank you Michael for being such a great host!

Location is great - great view & very quiet & peaceful even though it’s on a golf course. The condo appears to be going through an update process. Furniture is lovely & appliances appear to be new. The only reasons it’s not a 5 star property is we had some appliance issues & tub/showers could use an update. We let Vacasa know about the problems with the appliances & I’m sure they’ll be addressed. We had a great time & enjoyed our stay.

We spent a month in this country club villas condo with our elderly parents and it couldn’t have been better! First, having Knutsen & Assoc as the property mgr is a definite plus! They ensure your check-in is flawless, reach out to you periodically to make sure everything is OK, and when the roller shade on the lanai wasn’t working, they sent someone the very next day and got it fixed!It has a beautiful view of the ocean, breakfast, lunch and sunset dinners! We prepare meals at home 95% of the time and the kitchen was so well equipped with everything we could possibly want for cooking and bbq. Lots and lots of beach and bath towels and bed linens. 3 beautiful pools, designated parking, comfy furniture and beds, and Grocery and Drugstore within walking distance. 10 out of 10 !

We really enjoyed our stay, the weather was perfect, we were able to enjoy the lanai every night watching sunsets- even saw whales several days! The only thing we saw less than excellent was the pool areas- but our condo itself more than made up for it!

Reviews were pretty accurate. Had to do a little home maintenance. 2nd bathroom drain had a defective gasket, so I removed and left it on the top of tub. Otherwise it wouldn't drain. Toilet in 2nd bath needed some help also. I adjusted it but it still worked inconsistently. Shower head in master bath didn't put out much water. Blinds in second bedroom didn't work. Pool towels need replacing. Grill needs a cleaning.
Minor inconveniences, but I felt that they should be reported.
Wonderful Lanai/patio. Great view.

Starting off with the Pros. Cleanliness was great with nice fresh linnens. The condo was well stocked with beach items (umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, beach towels etc.). We enjoyed the three pools which seemed well maintained other than one of the three hot tubs. Excellent views of the golf course and ocean. Quiet and respectful neighbours. Lots of parking and close to beaches and shopping.
Cons: for the price (and in general) we would expect more functionality. The AC was not good. The upstairs bedroom had none, and the AC in one of the main bedrooms did not work properly and made a lot of beeping noises all night. With regards to the upstairs “bedroom” there were no blinds on any of the windows and the beds are not suited for adults (very short twin beds). Appliances are dated, the oven never came to temperature and the door didn’t close properly. The fridge also could not keep food very cold. Bathroom door lock did not latch properly. Dishwasher would run for hours on end unless we stopped it ourselves. One of the taps leaked in the kitchen. The tight spiral staircase isn’t great for hauling up luggage. The fire alarm beeped and when we asked for it to be looked at, we were dropped off batteries. After changing the batteries the alarm kept beeping. Communication was still prompt from the owner but nothing was going to be resolved during our stay.
This can be an excellent rental, we have stayed in a few different units in this building but this one needs some work.

We all loved our stay, the condo was very clean and comfortable with the multiple AC units. We had really good communication with the property manager and the concierge service they provide was a nice added bonus to help us book excursions. The condo was fully stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, sun screen, umbrellas, beach towels, games etc. We ran out of propane the first night but they had an extra tank ready to go. Dishes were clean and appliances worked well. The view of the golf course and the ocean from the balcony really makes the place a great rental. The only downside is the road/highway to and from town is gridlock all the time, but this is in no way a reflection of the rental itself. Thank you for hosting us.

We really enjoyed our 3 weeks at Dawn & Ismael's lovely condo. Country Club Villas is perfectly located, away from the busyness of Kona. The property is well maintained & quiet. We looked forward to our daily suppers on the lanai watching the beautiful sunsets & appreciating nature. The condo offers all the comforts of home including a BBQ, washer & dryer & a variety of cooking supplies. I was also impressed by the responsiveness of the Property Management staff & the complimentary treats were a nice touch. Mahalo for sharing your beautiful home. We hope to return again soon.

This was a wonderful and relaxing home base for our family. Plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 teens. It was a lovely and homey environment for us. Loved all the extra touches that made it feel like a home. Sitting on the lanai with the amazing view of Keauhou bay was a favorite activity. The three pools were also a wonderful amenity. As a swimmer I loved being able to use the rectangular pools for lap swimming every morning. The location was also perfect for us. We loved being south of Kona as there are some great snorkeling spots like Two Step a quick drive down the road and we love the towns south of Kona. (Kealakakua and Captain Cook). It was a really perfect vacation for us and we all felt this condo played a big part in that! Surpassed all expectations. Thank you!

We were a party of five from Ontario, Saskatchewan and British Columbia in Canada. We especially enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the spacious lanai and with binoculars, we sometimes spotted humpback whales and spinner dolphins in the ocean.
We used this central location at Kona-Kailua for a week in which the highlights were a drive to the summit of Mauna Kea for a hike and then sunset, a round of golf at the Kona Country Club, a dive in the pristine waters, a helicopter circumnavigation of the Big Island, a tour of the North Shore and Mo’okini Heiau, a visit to Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park – Hawaiian Place of Refuge, snorkelling at Halapu’una Beach Park, observing Monk Seals at A-Bay and an excellent tour of Greenwell Kona Coffee Farm.
Our only criticism was the plethora of more than 12 administrative emails regarding the electronic rental agreement, reminders, payments, etc. plus another 5 emails from the concierge services. This was overkill.

This property was exactly as it appeared in the listing. It was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, clean, view whales from the deck, go to the beach (if we could find one). It was located in a nice area. The only drawback was the room on the front of the property is not far from the main road and it was very noisy at night, even with earplugs and only one window open. It may be different for people who are used to street noise but it was rough for us.

Very quiet with concrete floor construction so you don't hear the Neighbour! Terrific location, backing onto a golf green and tee box for endless entertainment plus an ocean view and spectacular sunsets! Very comfortable furniture!

The property was actually as described. Our view from the balcony was breathtaking. We would have our coffee on the balcony and watch the whale's breach. The unit was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was so complete with every kind of cooking and serving items you would ever need. The unit had beach towels and beach chairs for use that we used every day. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the property overall, nice selection of pools to choose from, we used them all, really unfortunate that Kona closed their airport as we were about to take off from Vancouver which delayed us by 3 days arrival. excellent wifi. The water pressure and temperature in the ensuite bathroom needs improvement. A very nice relaxing view from the lanai. Our bed in the main bedroom was harder than we are used to but it was ok. Overall enjoyed our stay at this condo. About a 30 minute walk from popular beach and snorkel site. The unit is very spacious and was clean. This unit is on the ground floor, so you have to carry your luggage down about a flight of stairs.
Watching sunsets on the patio was incredible!
Our only issue was a lack of hot water in the master bedroom. The first night there was no hot water in either shower then the problem persisted for the next 3 days of our trip in the master. Lisa was very responsive with this issue, however they could not secure a plumber to get to the unit until after we left. Lisa did refund a portion of the trip and I’d assume they have since fixed the issue.

A perfect place to celebrate a birthday with family. Great kitchen, and comfortable living room. A grill on your own lanai is the best, and big comfortable table to seat for. Comfortable beds also. Didn’t even need the air conditioning. The hosts were wonderful and the goodies such a nice welcome. We were delighted with the beautiful print you gifted to my husband for his 70th birthday, complete with a hand-written note.

just want to let you know the BBQ start is dangerous, blows up in your face when starting. The light at the pool was broken and was blinking all night long. did not get a call back when trying to figure tv out. Spiders were everywhere outside of building. My husband had to clean them from our outside walkway daily. i’m not a fan of poison but someone should be knocking them down occasionally . There are holes in the screens where geckos get in.
the kitchen was well stocked and the unit had lots of great beach stuff. Very quiet and comfortable.

Great location - very close to Kona downtown. My family was coming without beach gear and fortunately for us this location provided beach towels, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, boogie boards etc. There is a hot tub at the property which is where we would spend our time in the evenings after a long day of fun. The property is lovely, the view outstanding. The condo is well equipped. We had a minor issue and the response was immediate & resolved quickly. We really enjoyed breakfast on the patio every day and the pool area was clean and a very nice area to relax in the shade or sun.
