Being "right on the ocean" was amazing. The sound of the waves and being able to see whales from the deck is surreal. We will book again!

Everything was perfect from the onboarding to the apartment itself. Upon entering you are greeted with a welcoming local feel in the apartment's decor. It was clean and you are provided with everything you could need; abundant towels, detergent for the washer, beach gear if you needed it. There were even binoculars, which at first I thought was just decor, until I was on the deck with amazing views of the ocean when heard a man shouting and pointing that there were whales in the ocean. Luckily I had my camera with my 400mm zoom lens and was able to get some good captures. That was the icing on the stay!! 10/10 would stay again and recommend!!

My wife and I had a great stay. Pictures match the unit. The lanai is nice and private. Great for watching sunsets. Being on the third floor we had great breezes every night, only had to turn on the AC one night in 8. Pool and grills are clean and well kept. The complex is quiet. Location is perfect, can walk to Kailua. We highly recommend.

The check in process was easy. The communication received from Kona Coast was amazing and helpful.
The condo is absolutely beautiful. The view is stunning. We watched spinner dolphins, cruise ships, and more from the comfortable lanai. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable time in this property. Allen and Pat made us feel at home with their fast response and excellent communications when we had questions.The location of the property is about a mile from an active restaurant, bar, shopping area right on the water front. The ones we ate at were Foster's Kitchen and Humphys bar and grill. Both will validate parking tickets for 1 1/2 hour stay in a public parking lot behind the restaurants.The property was very quiet, clean and friendly. The kitchen was well equipped. The Internet was super fast clocking in at over 600 Mbs (megabits per second)!We would definitely stay here again!

Was very easy to feel right at home as soon as you walked in. Place has everything you need. The host had excellent communication with everything. Place is perfectly located in the town of Kona. My husband and I loved it! Quiet community, great views- we gathered every night to watch the sunset. Kona is simply magical and we never wanted to leave. Would absolutely stay here again!!

It was private and very comfortable for the 4 of us. I got to sleep in the master with my great granddaughter in a very comfortable bed. The pool is heated so teaching my ggkid swim lessons was fun and she did so good. We stayed at the same complex but different unit. It was very nice but we felt more at home here

My family and I just enjoyed a 9 night stay at this property.Everything was just as advertised, the place was immaculate well stocked excellent communication from the owners as well as beautiful views from the Lanai! We took full advantage of the beach supplies that were provided for our days at the beach.We have visited all of the islands and hands down this was the best condo we have stayed at when looking at overall cost ,accommodations and location. We Will definitely be back !

The good: Very clean, good supply of essentials, responsive property manager,
The complaint: While the listing heading lists air conditioning, there is an extra $25 per day charge to use it. There may be disclosure at some point while getting into the rental agreement, a person may not notice it. The layout of the apartment almost requires A/C. There is minimal flow through ventilation possible as opening the jalousies is not possible. The second bedroom is a dead air room.

Overall fine option and good location, especially during busy Ironman week. Lack of air conditioning was not a major issue with sufficient fans and cross breezes — and very spacious balcony. Agree with other reviews that this unit would benefit from updates, especially in terms of beds, linens and bathroom amenities.

I have stayed in the Ali'i Village condos before!! I love the location and proximity to beaches and fabulous shopping and restaurants.. The pool is fabulous!! I will come again!!

The villa was updated, clean and stocked with anything one might need. The location was easily walkable to downtown Kona. Communication with the management company was outstanding insuring that we had everything we needed. The bed linens and towels were high quality and plentiful. Really enjoyed my stay here. Had everything I needed for the 2 weeks I stayed. Such a lovely apartment.
Approx 35-40 minutes to where the IM took place and approximate 45 mins to the big supermarkets.
Located right on the run course and you could even see the swim course from the balcony. Would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again.
You would not be disappointed.

We were in town for 2.5 weeks leading up to the 2024 Ironman world championship. Jason and Emme‘s apartment has a great location, is super convenient, well equipped and very well maintained. We enjoyed it from start to finish. Also, Jason has done a great job as a host, sharing lots of valuable information. We would love to stay in this condo again, if we get a chance to return to this beautiful island one day. Mahalo!

The property was great. Beautiful and comfortable with all amenities needed. We do feel it could have been cleaner. A lot of old dust - counter tops (kitchen and bathrooms) did not feel clean. Fans loaded with dust. Washer had mildew. Cupboards , drawers, and all surfaces could use a thorough cleaning. Aside from that it was spectacular!!!

The condo ist very well equipped with everything we needed, from beach chairs und towels to kitchen supplies. Close to town, very quiet with a nice pool and a Sunset Viewing area. Highly recommend. We will come back!
Only thing we did not like was the bed linen - all polyester...
Cotton would have been much cooler in warm nights.

Great stay right on the ocean! Beautiful views and listening to the ocean crash onto the rocks below was amazing. Convenient to most everything. We walked into town once(about 15 minutes) but otherwise drove to snorkeling spots, farmer's markets, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. All pretty close. The pool on property was comfortable and a nice option if you just wanted to cool off quick. It is warm in the area and while there isn't any AC, there are plenty of fans and the ocean breeze blows through the condo. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

The property is as described. Maybe could use some updating and more attention to the cleaning - but a very comfortable space and end unit which is great. It’s really all about the view! We spent most of our time on the lanaii enjoying sunsets and watching the cruise ships come and go. We had stayed at this complex before and like the location, grounds and pool.
We had an issue at check in but the owner and property manager were very attentive and responsive.

My family stayed here for two days during our family vacation to Hawaii. The owners were very responsive and great to work with. The property was exactly as listed and was in a great location. We were rebooked into this unit due to flooding in our original booking. I appreciated the property manager getting us into a new place without any hassle. The unit itself was fine, however I did feel it was a bit tight for 6 adults. The couple that took the pullout sofa found it too uncomfortable to sleep on and ended up using the blowup mattress with outdoor chair cushions on it. Other than that it was clean, quiet, and I felt safe in the location. I would 100% recommend it, just not for a group of 6.
