We had an excellent stay here. The condo is beautiful and had everything we needed. We arrived a bit earlier then check in and were able to utilize the pool whilst waiting for the condo to be ready. The location is perfect and the view of the ocean is incredible. Would definitely stay here again.

Betsy was a great host that accommodated our unexpected early arrival. Your room would be less close to the ocean on a cruise ship. Great spot to explore south of Kona. Great value on the big island.

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was as listed and pictured, if not even better. The view from the balcony is priceless. We started every morning, and ended every day out there. The sound of the waves was therapeutic! We explored the lava rock in front of the condos and found so much marine life to explore. We snorkeled off of the rocks and it was by far the best snorkeling we’ve ever done. It was like swimming in a fully stocked clear tropical aquarium! We had done already snorkeled at Captain Cook but this was way better. We walked into town every morning (just a lil over a mile in)! Ron and Chris were great and and had the condo fully stocked with all the beach toys, kitchen dishes, condiments, etc! The beds were very comfortable and clean!!! We can’t wait to go back!

Great location. Enjoyed the view and amenities. Bed was comfy. Had forgotten about the stairs, but we managed the luggage and frankly I prefer the open air. Nice big Lanai. Loved the sound of the ocean at night.

We enjoyed our week on the Big Island. The VRBO was perfectly located - with access to everything quickly. Quaint little area with shopping and dinning down the street. Beautiful view off the balcony with dolphin watching in the mornings.
The unit doesn’t have AC, windows and doors are open with fans blowing the entire time. Other than that, the condo had everything we needed and a few things we didn’t know we would need!
Great communication, directions and suggestions for activities and dining, etc.

We had a wonderful time at Ron and Chris' gem of a home. The rocky shore is right outside of the lanai and listening to the waves crash against the rocks all night was outstanding and relaxing. The sunsets are unreal and we really enjoyed starting and ending our days on the lanai. The condo is as described in the pictures and listing -- very clean, updated and comfortable with plenty of space for a family of four. The complex was pretty quiet and the kids loved the pool. The condo is located pretty close to shops and restaurants and the hosts did job with sharing their favorite locations. It was our first trip to the big island and we want to come back again!

After many trips to Maui, finally made it to Kona. Such a wonderful island, full of so much adventure! We loved our Condo on the ocean. What an amazing place to call home for a week! Location was great to go either North to Waikoloa or South to Captain Cook. Condo was stocked with everything we needed with a million dollar view! Lots of cooking and dinning on the lanai. Most Epic experience was the night Manta Ray snorkel. We had 12 Mantas dancing around us.. Such a great experience and a beautiful Condo!

The property matched the description and check in was very easy. Betsy went out of her way to make sure we had all the information necessary for our stay. The view each evening out on the patio is as advertised and we enjoyed sitting out there at the end to the evening enjoying our glass of wine. Listening to the waves in the evening below us and waking up to them is the highlight of the property. Well located just out of town so close enough to walk but we drove in most days. It was our first trip to the Big Island and have nothing bad to say. Our place was very clean and ready for us upon arrival and would highly recommend staying at this property if you want a little slice of relaxation and peacefulness.

We enjoyed this property as it was very spacious and has a wonderful view of the ocean. It also has a washer and dryer in the unit that came in handy after long days of playing in the sun. The unit does not have AC so it gets quite warm even with all the windows open and fans on. The pool is very close by and was a nice place to cool off. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

This condo exceeded all expectations! It’s a beautiful unit, very modern and comfortable. The view is to die for! Working with the owner was a breeze. Saw dolphins and whales almost daily. Our favorite pastime was just relaxing on the patio, having a Mai-tai, and watching the waves come in! Thank you Betsy for a delightful stay!

This is a beautiful property situated right on the ocean, with plenty of outdoor space, and lovely sunset views. There is a public sandy beach almost right next door, and with a little exploration you can access the gorgeous Kaapanali Beach walk without need of a car. Some excellent take-out options and a grocery store are within walking distance.

We were looking for a location with great ocean views close enough to hear the waves crashing in and this exceeded our expectations. In addition to the perfect location, the unit was very nicely decorated with many upgraded amenities that we don’t usually find in condo rentals. Everything we needed was there from kitchen supplies to beach equipment to arrival snacks! Betsy thought of everything and was the perfect host!

As I finished up cleaning up for check out at the end of our stay, I had tears in my eyes. I wasn't ready to leave. My husband and I got married on June 18 on Kukio Beach. And this beautiful condo was the start of our new chapter together. We loved this unit, our home away from home. Everything we needed was here. And it seemed as though previous tenants would contribute/donate their non perishables also. From the fridge to the pantry to the medicine cabinet, we were very pleased with the amenities.
We enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine at sunset. Loved the lanai for relaxing and playing cribbage.
Thank you for the wonderful memories. We will be back to celebrate many anniversaries.

We've stayed in numerous condos on all the islands and this is by far the nicest and WELL EQUIPPED! Everytime I thought it would be nice if we had.... X. If you looked around there X was! Binoculars, coffee grinder, cooler, scuba gear, beach chairs, flippers, fans, games, cards, shampoo, sunscreen, every untensil you can imagine! So my advice, do not buy anything until you arrive and check it out. The only thing we needed was laundry detergent... and now that is there! Great lanai with awesome views. Everything modern and appears recently remodeled. My only small complaint would be the king bed is a little too hard and is getting a little long in the tooth... but that's us it's personal preference. Location is perfect for walk downtown with a stop at Green Flash Coffee (excellent!) Also on a side note, do NOT miss Jackie Rey's right up the hill from here. Fantastic food, bartender's and prices! We found this place way too late during our trip and went back for our last dinner on the island. Mahalo Betsy!

We absolutely LOVED this condo. It was meticulously clean, and we found everything was exactly as the host described it. We slept great listening to the crashing waves all night. We really appreciated the beach extras included too.
The location is perfect... It's a quiet neighborhood but a short walk away from the hot spots of Kona. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great location right on the water. The unit was a stone's throw from the waves crashing on the rocks. Beautiful view to the North of downtown Kailua-Kona, with lights at night. Property was great. Very nice, fully outfitted kitchen. We ate in most of the time, so this was great. Washer and drier right in the condo made for easy towel washing (many trips to ocean/beach). Bed comfort was ok. Owner was great to work with. We have stayed in Kona a few times now, and this rates up there at top of our favorites.
Important thing to be aware of: NO A/C. We were there in March/April, so temps ok. It got to be pretty warm in the condo in the afternoon, but was beautiful at night. Temps only around 83F for highs during day. If it gets to summer time, this place might be a bit too warm for some. Also, NO elevator and on 3rd floor. This was fine for us, we enjoyed the exercise. For those with problems climbing stairs, this could be a problem. The description on VBRO didn't mention this, so thought we should pass along to anyone with mobility issues. But for us it was great. Individual parking spot is right outside of the door, so great location. The complex swimming pool was perfect temp for swimming and cooling off. In great shape. Whole place was in great shape, even considering age of it. You almost have to have a car. It is located over a mile from anything downtown Kailua, long way to walk and no good public transport. But, great location to get to Magic Sands Beach and Kahalu'u Beach Park- great beach and great beginner snorkeling. We would definitely stay here again.

THis was a great place to stay. We were very happy with the location and the place itself. There was a great deal of thought that went into to making sure that everything we might need was there. The kitchen was well supplied with whatever we needed. This was important to us as we prepare most of our meal. The beds were comfortable and the view was outstanding. We would stay here again. The location was outstanding as everything in the Kona area was 10 minutes or less away.

Very clean, well stocked for cooking with quality pans and utensils, comfortable furniture and spacious outdoor patio.
Pool was clean and grills available when we needed.
The highlight was the view and sunsets! A perfect place to crash, cook and relax after a long day of activity.
