We just stayed in this unit for the past week and had a great time!! This unit has space which is fantastic, since we have 3 sons. The lanai is also huge! The unit was SUPER clean when we arrived and we were so happy to see the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary things to make your meals! We were VERY thrilled to see the closet had a full beach set up with chairs, umbrellas, and coolers! Made all our beach days turn key. ONLY disappointment is the extremely narrow parking spot. We are a family of 5, so we need a decent size vehicle and it barely squeezed into the spaces. I mean barely. Every time we moved the car in and out was a bit stressful, and they really don't have street parking. Most of the area around the unit says No Parking. Aside from the parking, the place was great! Prime location to great restaurants/ bars/ beaches. Lots going on, just down the street! No hot tub which would have been nice since the pool was very "refreshing". Overall, great place to stay!

Normally I would give this property five stars, but the management company is the reason for a lower rating. The condo was spacious,well furnished, and well equipped. It sits next to the street on the ocean side, first floor. The pool is right outside but there is little noise. The location made it very easy to get to parking, the pool, and exit to the street. Shops and restaurants are only a couple blocks away. The A/C units could not keep up with the afternoon sun from the ocean side so we had to keep the living room fairly dark. Ocean gear was appreciated although we did not use it.
The management company started off by telling us that our reservation was not valid unless papers were not immediately signed. Upon arrival we received multiple unfriendly messages not to check in early. We had a SEWER GAS smell emanating from under the sink. It forced us to have the patio doors open at all times. The management company told us that this was an "ongoing issue". On our last day they offered to send the building manager which we declined because he had told us that it was not an ongoing issue and unique to our unit. As VRBO owners ourselves, we would have had a plumber there within hours. On departure they sent a message warning of FINES if the unit were not left clean enough. They constantly tried to get us to use their app and only book through them (not VRBO). Then they urged that no reviews be posted other than on their website, and excluding anything negative. Really?

Good Points:

Not so good:
1. We did not receive a map of the property showing the location of the unit and the designated parking space. When we finally found the condo and entered it, we found a laminated map showing what we needed. It would have been nice to include this map in advance. We arrived well after dark and had a difficult time finding the right parking lot and our parking spot.
2. There was a Christmas parade while we were there that blocked access to the parking area for several hours, and we couldn't even get to our unit because the only access was from the parking area. It would have been nice if the condo manager opened the automatic gate (which we didn't have access ability) to the Kuakini Highway to the east of the condo. We finally got into the parking area when another resident happened to be leaving and opened the gate.
3. Minor but annoying: The TV channels listed in the condo unit do not match the cable channels subscribed by the owner. We could not even access the main national broadcast channels, and therefore could not watch a football game that was broadcast nation-wide.

Excellently stocked condo steps from downtown Kailua-Kona. Assigned parking in a garage. Quiet complex.
Whatever we thought we needed we found in a cupboard. Boogie boards, Snorkel gear, beach chairs & umbrellas, plentiful towels, pots, pans, even a coffee grinder and french press.
Air Conditioning works well and cooled the apartment rapidly whenever we were in it. Listen to the tree frogs and birds at night after the sun goes down.
For a traveling couple looking for peace and quiet, this couldn't be better.

The view from the lanai is truly spectacular. However the condo itself could use a few repairs. The sticky screen door to the lanai was annoying, as was the fact that the blinds don't work and figuring out how to turn on lights, fans etc was not always straightforward. Be advised that although room dividers are available, the distance between the bedroom and the living room hide-a-bed is very short. So sleeping quarters are in close proximity, which may not work well for everyone when sharing accommodations.

The unit came prepped with everything needed for the beach, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards. It also had everything needed for the kitchen to cook meals. It is big enough to easily fit four people with the pull out couch and two full bathrooms and the parking included is great. Laundry in unit came in very handy and that was a nice addition.

The location of this is absolutely perfect and right in the heart of the city. The ac units were perfect to sleep and the patio was peaceful and lovely. Parking space is pretty tight and hard to get into even with the mustang convertible we had so be aware of the size of your vehicle before you book. Small Kona coffee in the room was nice. Would absolutely book again.

Kona Pacific one bedroom suite was very clean, well stocked with kitchenware, roomy and nicely decorated. The King bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great as after a day at beach, it was wonderful to cool down. There’s also 2 bathrooms in the suite. We used the pool and barbecue area a couple times and they were well maintained. The condo is in within walking distance to downtown Kailua where there’s a good selection of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed breakfast on the roomy lanai every morning which a had a partial view of the ocean. Overall a well maintained condo which we would stay at again. Thank you.

I really enjoyed my stay here overall. The rental was beautifully decorated, very clean, and well-maintained! There were also additional appliances that I could use in the kitchen if I needed to, and they provided some vertical floor fans in addition to the AC. Whenever I called for assistance, there was always someone there to answer my questions as well. As far as location, it had a great view of the ocean, and it’s really close to the shops and food. If you wanted to drive to town, it’s only 2 minutes! It was a fantastic stay and pretty quiet for how close it is to town. I would love to stay here again.

Me and 2 other girls rented this amazing condo during Ironman World Championship week. This was 1 mile from the start/finish line and maybe 0.5 miles from the expo. I loved that we could walk to everything - Coffee Shops, Restaurants, shops, etc... We loved sitting out on the balcony everyday having breakfast and listening to the birds.
Communication with the owner was fantastic and the place was exactly what we wanted. HUGE plus that there was 3 bathrooms and an AC unit for each bedroom and one in the living room.
I would definitely stay here again!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The check-in process was very smooth, it was easy to find the property and the parking space in the garage with the easy-to-follow instructions that were shared with us. The condo itself was very very clean and exactly what we expected from the pictures. The location is perfect. It is easy walking distance to the main boardwalk area in downtown Kona and we enjoyed walking to get breakfast and coffee every morning at our "usual" spots. The views from the lanai were stunning! The only disappointing part of the stay is that the pool was closed for repairs for our entire stay (which was one of the deciding factors in booking this place) - all was well though since we packed our days pretty full and did not have much free time that we would have been able to spend there anyway! The hosts left lots of thoughtful and helpful things for us - there was a laundry kit so we could do a few loads of laundry without needing to run out to the store to get detergent, etc. They left coffee for us too!
The bed was VERY comfortable and I very much appreciated that they left multiple pillows for us to use (I am a multiple pillow sleeper myself). The AC unit in the bedroom was more than sufficient to keep us cool at night, especially with the dividers up between the rooms to keep the cool air in.
Can't say enough good things about the property, would highly recommend staying here! I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived to see signs that the swimming pool was closed and renovations were being carried out, which was slightly disappointing, as close by beaches were not really suitable to swim in or sit on. Car park space is very compact.
Otherwise great location especially for the Kona Ironman event which we came for.

Location was perfect!! Might want to get new towels, the ones there are white and you can see the stains on them. I think they might be doing renovations because some of the cabinets looked new. They might want to leave an air freshener so it won’t smell bad. I also thought it was a 2 room condo. That might have been on me, but I thought it was a 2 bedroom condo.

This was a wonderful property. It was well appointed and very comfortable for 2 of us. We loved the views from the lanai...enjoyed our morning coffee there as well as watching gorgeous sunsets. It is within walking distance of downtown Kona, (but not really within walking distance of a beach, which wasn't a problem for us). We would definitely stay here again!
