Great place, plenty of room. But... they stated that if you leave sand in the room you will be charged a fee, You are in Hawaii and going to the beach, that should be expected. Wife had to clean extra to make sure we didnt get fined. We are paying a cleaning fee and are on vacation to be worried about that. Would not stay here again.

Oh my gosh… what a perfect unit and location for my sister and I to have our annual 2 week Hawaiian getaway. This condo went above and beyond with amenities and comfort. It was just as pictured and did not disappoint. Having a washer / dryer in the unit made it extra convenient for doing laundry. We truly enjoyed the quiet location - yet so easy and close to walk into town for shopping and dining. This is one place I will recommend over and over again. The room was very clean and is in a perfect location for enjoying Kona. The host was very responsive. We have stayed in Kona about 12 times in the last five years. This is the only stay that we have had where the host turned on the air conditioning prior to our arrival. Since we didn’t get in until late, this was very much appreciated. The host also had a very nice welcoming package waiting for us as well. Highly recommended!

Everything was great! We spent two weeks in the unit and had absolutely nothing to complain about. We were warned in advance about the assigned parking spot being cramped and so we requested a smaller car. All worked out well.

Kona Pacific A102 met all our needs and then some. The accommodation was spacious for the four of us. We appreciated having a bathroom for each bedroom plus an extra bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with good cookware and utensils and enough dishes and glassware to host a party (we didn’t). We cooked many times during our stay and the only problem was that the oven temperature seemed to fluctuate and not get quite high enough. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of spare linens and pillows. We watched TV together several times in the airy and inviting living room, which had enough seating for everybody. The lanai was large and quite private despite being on the ground floor, and we had a view of the pool on one side and the ocean on the other. We enjoyed eating at the outside table, comfortable even on hot days because of the fans. We made use of the washer and drier almost every day--nice to go home without dirty laundry. We were here for the Ironman, and the location was perfect for that--an easy walk to the race start but far enough away to avoid the commotion. Ironman runners passed just yards away from the apartment twice during the competition. We were all very happy with the apartment and highly recommend it for families or two couples.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The place felt very safe and was super clean. I was in town for the Ironman event, and the location was great—about a mile from where most of the action happens, but still nice and quiet, which I really appreciated.I didn’t use the pool, but I relaxed in the room and cooked most of my meals. There was a good amount of cooking supplies, and I loved that they provided Tupperware, an ice maker, and even a rice cooker! The washer and dryer were a big plus too—they provided starter pods which was really thoughtful.The shower and water pressure were amazing. The only thing I’d note is that there aren’t blackout curtains, so it gets bright in the mornings (coming from Florida, I’m used to sleeping in ), but honestly, if I hadn’t been here for the race, I would’ve loved the natural light.The seating options inside and out on the back porch were great, and I absolutely loved the cart available for unloading groceries—it made things so easy! Overall, I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again if I come back. Pictures are from my checkout day.

The place is very clean and nicely decorated. While not beachside, we still got a beautiful view of the ocean and the foliage on the property. We enjoyed the large lanai while having breakfast in the morning. Air conditioning is a must in Kona especially this time of year and was so glad to have it here. The kitchen is small but efficient and has everything you need. It has all the beach things you will need as well.

First I want to thank Tim & Igor, the property management company, as we had to change our dates with no problems and then let us in early because of not feeling well. Tim & Igor were great. The location was perfect for walking into town. Everything was perfect. This condo had everything you need for a wonderful stay. Recommend 10 out of 10. We will defiantly be back.

This place is as advertised, and is lovely. The bedrooms are large and the lanai is indeed huge, and has some comfortable furniture as well. The third floor location means the lanai looks out at surrounding treetops and many birds. There was a closet full of beach gear we could borrow. Everything was clean. The location is good - about a 10 minute walk into the restaurant and shopping area. One of the best places I have stayed!

We appreciated all the extra little things that really helped make this a home away from home. Such as a reclining love seat, a motion night light in the bathroom, liquid hand soap, coasters, some spices available, laundry basket, and stuff to enjoy the beach without having to pack it or purchase. I'm really fussy about the bed and found this one very comfortable with a nice pillow top. Our only complaint was the air conditioner was loud and made it just barely comfortable. Overall I would definitely try to stay here again if I come back.

What a wonderful sea paradise home. The lanai was so beautiful along with the rest of the condo. It was exactly like the pictures (maybe even better). Gina provided excellent communications and information. The kitchen is ideal along with the coffee bar. Gina was gracious with supplies to get us going on our stay. You can walk to restaurants and shopping. The condo has a parking space which was big enough for the Chevy Malibu we rented. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back.

Beautiful condo, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and ocean. It has a nice bbq area by the pool, or all of the kitchen amenities you need to cook indoors. Communication with our host was so easy, she is very kind, and responds quickly. This is our 2nd time staying in her condo, and if we come back to the Big Island again, I hope we will be able to stay here a 3rd time!

Really nice place for a family stay. We loved hanging out on the lanai. It’s a great spot for birdwatching, bring binoculars! It got pretty hot even with the AC units. I feel like the AC units need some updating. But we stayed comfortable enough. The pool is more geared towards adults lounging. There was an attendant that made sure kids weren’t disruptive (loud, splashing, and specifically no Marco Polo) and they didn’t allow balls or floaties, which I thought took a bit of the fun out of the pool. Great for relaxing though. Overall I loved the building, it was nice and quiet and a great location for walking into town. The parking was nice too and easy to access elevator. I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed your property and the view from the lanai of the ocean. I was a little concerned that we wouldn’t be able to keep the temp comfortable but with the a/c on and the fans going, it was perfect! We also liked just sitting on the lanai at breakfast and supper and feeling the breezes. I used the pool 3 times. Wonderful! And we treated it like our own. Respectfully. Having the beach towels and cooler was great for snorkeling trips. We got by with the one toilet. We renewed our vows after 44 years!

We had a great stay at the Akina Pacific. The location is on the corner unit, which gives you an unobstructed view of the ocean from the covered balcony. The unit is also very conveniently located to the underground parking lot and the poo, and an easy walk into town. We had ample space and appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards, and in-unit washer and dryer. You can walk into town within 5 minutes. It was quiet and clean. While the unit could use a fresh coat of paint and is a little dated, it was very clean and comfortable. Our arrival was also right when there was a tsunami evacuation taking place. The management company provided us with updates and evacuation instructions that were very helpful and much appreciated.
