Excellently stocked condo steps from downtown Kailua-Kona. Assigned parking in a garage. Quiet complex.
Whatever we thought we needed we found in a cupboard. Boogie boards, Snorkel gear, beach chairs & umbrellas, plentiful towels, pots, pans, even a coffee grinder and french press.
Air Conditioning works well and cooled the apartment rapidly whenever we were in it. Listen to the tree frogs and birds at night after the sun goes down.
For a traveling couple looking for peace and quiet, this couldn't be better.

I was here for the Ironman championship. It was so awesome having all of the beach supplies, laundry detergent options, sunscreen and after sun care, even a fridge stocked full of adult beverages! Amazing set up and hosts. I wouldn’t go back to staying at the local hotels (half of my trip this time). This place is great.

Great location minutes walk from downtown Kona. Condo is well equipped with beach supply, bicycles, skateboards, etc. Joe was very helpful and gave good recommendations.

The condo was perfect for us. The owners were very helpful and attentive leading up to our arrival. Great directions and attention to detail to make our stay relaxing and stress free. Entire condo was stocked with everything you need and more! Accommodations were clean and well maintained. It was an amazing stay and would definitely reserve it again for future vacations.

I enjoyed this location because it was close to the YWAM campus where my child was residing. It's also close to Coconut Grove (shopping and eating) and close to Honl's Beach. The condo was clean and the pool area was immaculate. I frequently used the balcony for eating and reading. So thankful I had that great outdoor space. I would stay here again.

We very much enjoyed the amenities the owners had available upon our arrival. After a 21.5 hr. trip to get to Kona, it's very thoughtful to have liquid refreshments for travel weary guests. A great location for local shops, restaurants & the downtown.

Spent a week there. Great central location in Kona. The condo is spacious, kitchen is fully stocked i.e. wine, liquor, soda water, pots and pans, cutleries, even a soda stream. There are also beach chairs, beach umbrellas, snorkeling gear, bicycles and first aids kits. Owners are very friendly and helpful with enquiries. Would definitely stay there again!

The unit was exactly as described. Very clean, close to shops and restaurants and quite comfortable. The hosts could not have made the entire process any easier. If you are going to Kaiula-Kona this is an ideal place to spend your vacation.

The owner also have many varieties of drinks in refrigerator for guests to enjoy. We have never experienced this kind of treatment from other hosts. It is very generous. This condo has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. It’s located in a great spot - one block’s length from the Trolley stop, and a short walk further to a small but really nice sandy beach. The pool is very nice as well. It’s just far enough off the main drag that’s it’s quiet, but a short walk to shops and restaurants.
Fred has the place stocked with pantry essentials so you don’t have to buy condiments or cooking oil if you want to take advantage of the kitchen. There are plenty of towels and beach towels, beach toys and chairs available in the closet. There is also a well stocked cupboard of toiletries in case you forget something.
Overall I enjoyed my 4 day stay and would book it again if I go to Kailua.

The condo is very convenient to everything in downtown Kona! The unit had allot of extras which we enjoyed with our two teenagers. We didn’t need to buy anything for the beach! Surprisingly there was allot of adult beverages stocked for us upon our arrival. The adults stayed in the bedroom with the futon couch - which we left up in the sitting position. In the living room we put one kid on the sofa-bed and got an air mattress for the other one. Worked out just fine- but they did have to live out of their suitcases as there was no dresser for them. All in all we are very pleased and would stay here again.

The property was great, quiet and clean. Pool available. Ocean and small beach about a block away. The unit has something for everyone; bikes, snorkeling gear, boogie boards. Kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook. A short walk down to the main area and you have plenty of places to eat, shop and play. a bit further down the road is a farmers market. Enjoy some local fruits and items.

We feel lucky to have found this house for our spur of the moment trip to Hawaii. It really had everything we could possibly need and more. It's incredibly nice not to have to buy simple things like olive oil and aluminum foil when you just need to cook for a few days. It's these touches that make a stay less stressful. On top of that the location was perfect. Right on the trolley line if you need to get anywhere in town and don't want to drive. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great stay!

Hands down, the most equipped condo I’ve ever stayed in via VRBO (and I have rented quite a few). Thank you so much for helping my family’s stay in the Big Island a memorable experience. This unit is stocked with everything you could possibly need or want; we used the scuba gear, beach umbrella, folding chairs, the fully stocked kitchen, some of the tools in the toolbox, and even helped ourselves to a couple beers that were kindly left in the fridge. But those are only a fraction of the things packed into the many closets for your use and enjoyment. The property is in a great location with on-site parking in a covered garage. It is a short walk to downtown Kona, and we had no trouble even with a baby stroller. The hosts were extremely responsive, we contacted them on two occasions for run-of-the-mill questions and they responded within minutes each time. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Kona.

My husband and I were super thankful to find a place to relax not attached to a hotel. We like our quiet and prefer to be on our own. We had great communication as well as an offer for full cancelation due to any covid restrictions. The place had more than we needed and loved all the laundry items, beach toys, extra toiletries, and washer/dryer. It's within walking distance to downtown and enjoyed walking to local restaurants for dinner. The unit itself is extremely quiet and is equipped with fans and AC units (something we didn't have while living on the Hilo side) . The sounds of birds and a few coqui's lulled us to sleep and awake every day. We will def save this rental for our next return to Kona.

We loved staying here. Great location just a couple minutes walk from Royal Kona and about 5 mins from shops, restaurants etc. The condo came fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! The bikes were awesome and allowed us much greater range than on foot. No need to rent a car if you are planning to stay in Kona area. Mahalo to our hosts, this was the best equipped rental we've ever stayed in-you take good care of your guests! Can't wait to return to Kona.

From the first booking to sadly leaving we can’t praise the Owners and their lovely home enough to give all the credit due. Close to everything to walk yet removed enough for guaranteed quiet! The large bedroom was most comfortable offering quality sheets, abundance of pillows and coverings, futon for sitting and tv watching plus a private lanai and ensuite bath. The good sized Living room offered comfortable seating, tv and open to fully equipped kitchen with bar seatings and another large lanai! Not enough well there is also a second full bath! The building is well kept and the pool is refreshing with plenty of seating and lounging. Rather than continue on with earned praise, we say ‘just book it now’

Clean, well appointed, great location, TONS of value added stuff (bikes/skateboards/beachtowels/airline mini bottles/washer/dryer/pool/etc). While it was significantly more than a hotel, I was under the gun after my hotel CLOSED ten days before my flight. Honestly, if I ever travel to Kona again with a friend or date, this is waaaaay better than a hotel IMHO.

This condo was just what we were looking for. The hot spots where everyone hangs out on Ali’i was literally minutes away from the condo. My son and I walked down to the shops and it was only a 6 minute walk. The condo had EVERYTHING we needed from toiletries to beach chairs.
The owners were so amazing and made the trip effortless. We are definitely staying here again.

We had such an incredible experience! Fred and Joe communicated so well, the location of the condo was absolutely perfect, especially with the shortage of rental cars, an easy walk to all the restaurants in town, plus a nice bike ride over to Magic Sands and Banyans. When we managed to rent a car for a few days we found the location so central for traveling around the island. The space was so clean and well equipped for cooking, adventuring or just relaxing. Plus check out was a breeze! Couldn’t recommend enough! Looking forward to our next stay, thanks Fred & Joe!

This was a fantastic and quiet little condo right in the heart of Kona, with easy walking to shops, bars, restaurants. Kamakahonu Beach is great for kids and is about a 1 mile walk. Parking and community pool were very convenient and the property was well stocked. Host was wonderful. Would recommend staying here!

This condo was absolutely perfect! The location was great, super close to be able to walk to the “downtown” area but not at all noisy. There were so many beach things we used like the umbrella, boogie boards, chairs etc, and the bikes were a huge plus!! We biked down to magic sands beach a few times. Super comfy beds, AC the worked great, no complaints here! Thanks for making our stay the best, can’t wait to be back!

The property owners were super nice and easy to get in touch with. Checking in was a breeze! The condo was clean, comfy and had everything we needed for our Hawaiian vacation--coolers, bikes, boogie boards, lots of towels and bedding, great bath tubs. The layout of the condo was perfect for privacy if another couple was on board and we loved having two bathrooms. Only negatives were the pool was over-clorinated and one kitchen drawer was hard to deal with but I think those things are being looked after. Great experience, highly recommend this place. Very easy walk into town from the condo.

As an epidemiologist, coming to Hawaii just as the state is opening up from COVID was a wonderful experience. Fred and Joe's place is quiet, comfortable, immaculate and has everything you need (snorkels, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc). We walked to everything in Kona (shopping, dining, bars, etc) and then drove to beaches and the volcano national park. We started planning our next trip while we were still there..will definitely book with them again- they are great to work with and the location is perfect. THANK YOU!!!
