Great view!We spent early mornings on lanai planning our adventures and watching waves crash. Several dining options within walking distance.The lock on door is a little tricky..but had it figured out within a day.Would stay again.Fun to watch cruise ships arrive on Wednesday and Saturday.

This is one of the best short-term rentals I have stayed in. It was clean and comfortable. It was smartly designed and furnished--it felt like being at home. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and the showers were luxurious. The host was an excellent communicator. The location is within walking distance of several restaurants and bars, and the view is unbeatable. Highly recommend!

This condo was amazing!! it was walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. You could listen to the ocean from inside the condo. It was a fantastic condo. I wish they had luggage racks for suitcases or a dresser. And there was miscommunication from the property manager about having packages shipped to the condo. The condo itself was amazing.

Great location right at the water front. Better view than most restaurants in the village. Super close to all shops and restaurants. The staff is super helpful/ responsive and actively provides the instructions at every step of the way.

Tha condo was as described. There are a few things I would improve on. The downstairs bedroom could use blackout curtains due to the light coming in from the outside hallway. The AC unit leaked when turned on, so we had to put bowls on floor to catch the water. We were unable to operate the ceiling fans in the kitchen area, perhaps remotes needed new batteries. Some of the seats of the dining room chairs were in need of repair.On the positive, we chose this place because both bedrooms had king beds. Having a third full bath was nice. The balcony was a good size for the four of us to sit in the morning with coffee.The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. Even after asking ahead of time, we were surprised to find beach chairs. to use. Overall it met our needs, but when you’re in Hawaii, you spend most of your time outdoors.

Review of my stay in Kona Alii 606What a gem of a place to celebrate my 68th birthday!!! The view from the living room, kitchen, or balcony is fantastic! This one-bedroom condo is very spacious with open, large living and dining area, two full bathrooms, washer & dryer, fully appointed kitchen, king-sized bed, and awesome balcony. You can hear the waves even in the bedroom which is in the back of the condo. Very close to many restaurants within walking distance. Who could ask for more!!Of course with any place there were a few things that needed to be improved upon and were shared with the Property Manager. You will enjoy your time here!! Enjoy!!!

We arrived at the property and the key lockbox was right where it said it would be. This was fortunate because the numbers were very faded. The place was very clean and it was nice having two bathrooms even though it was just two of us. The property is conveniently located. It did not have air conditioning but with the fans and windows open it was fine.

Our third time staying in this building. Location, location, location!!! you can’t get any closer to the water and have a beautiful view, especially if you like the people watch. The unit is very clean and well kept. Everything we needed for a fun week on the big island. We got to see eruption number 43 on our stay. Parking is also free which is a big plus right behind the unit. Felt very safe.

I would give this property a 5 star across the board except for one issue. We loved the security, the view, the location, the space. I also liked that I got a text when we got there asking how things are and if we need anything please let us know. Because we stayed for 10 nights and there was 4 of us we ran short on a couple of essentials, toilet paper, kleenex, paper towel. Because my first text after arriving was let them know if we need anything I did just that to see if they could please send up some more essentials after being there a week and the response I got was kind of a surprise. I received a text saying we only give enough for a week and after that you have to supply yourself. That's all well and good except that if we had not paid for 7 nights, we paid for 10 nights. Then the next text was asking if the house keeping left us enough, evidently not for 10 nights. I was a hard no and to purchase our own. To us that was like purchasing for the next guest being you can't buy essentials one at a time.

The owner is very accommodating. Appliances are great, There is even an assortment of beach toys including chairs, cooler, boogie boards. The unit is very comfortable and clean. It’s definitely a plus where it’s located. Walking distance to restaurants and stores but you will be in the heart of the tourist community and a very busy part of town. The downside of that is that it’s very noisy at night. Random times in the middle of the night there would be vehicles tearing down the street very loudly or people shouting. This is no fault of the owner and the only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars.

The room is in a good location in Kona, and the parking worked out well. If you go to bed early, there can be noise in an adjacent public soccer field until after 9 and from restaurants until later. This mostly matters for the bedroom that doesn't have tight closing windows, worse if you need to leave the windows open later. If you go to bed late, shouldn't be an issue. The room was clean, and the host was responsive with questions. Lot's of great extras in the condo to help enjoy the area (games, beach stuff). Lot's of seating, and the ceiling fans worked great.

This is the 4th time we've stayed in this building but the first time in this unit. The 7th floor is the only level with lanai's on both sides.We enjoy watching sunrises and sunsets from the lanai's.The location allows easy walking to most of Alii Drive including the pier.The building is very secure with covered parking.We didn't use the pool but it's very large and clean. We used the grills regularly. The condo was well equipped including beach supplies. Lisa brought us 2 additional beach chairs and a flashlight we requested. When we couldn't get the TV working Lisa came right over and helped get it on. We did need to do some cleaning upon arrival but we had a couple of clean freaks staying.Beds are very comfy and there are plenty of towels and beach towels. While the building is a bit dated, overall it's clean,safe and hard to beat for a great Kona location.

View was simply amazing! Yes there were some electrical wires but it didn’t hinder view. Unit was well stocked with everything we needed. No AC (which we knew) but ceiling fans and floor fans worked just fine. Did get traffic noise of course but to be expected - just closed lanai doors when it got loud. Location was nice because restaurants, farmers markets and basic shopping was all walkable.

Get a cleaning crew out there. The rugs need to be steam cleaned, wall vents are full of dust, tops of cabinets near the vents are full of black debris, hall shower head needs replacing, louvers in bedroom do not work and don’t lift up the runner at the front door of your may pass out when you see what’s underneath it.

We have stayed in condos in the Kona Alii for the past four years. The location can't be beat, within walking distance of everything. This condo had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean; the kitchen was well stocked including the Keurig for making yummy Kona coffee. Lisa, our host, was easy to contact and quickly replied to emails and texts. She brought additional beach chairs to us to accommodate everyone in our group. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone.

Great stay! Great location, nice sized unit. 3 beds, two baths, in-unit laundry, reserved parking, ocean front view, what else do you need? Yes, it was a bit warm when we arrived, but if you open the doors and let the air flow through, it cools off just fine. For sleeping at night, there are ceiling fans and floor fans provided. Host was very responsive and helpful. Thanks!
