Wow! The view is amazing!! The location is great as we could walk to shops, restaurants, the beach, and the pier. The condo is comfortable but we spent most of our time either out and about or on the lanai.

I had a great stay at this rental. The location was perfect, great for walking to local eats and shopping, and driving to most locations was pretty easy as well. The unit was clean and comfortable. I had great communication with the property management when an issued arose. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice condo in good condition, excellent central location, convenient parking. AC works well, but note that it is necessary to keep the bedroom door open at night for cool air to circulate. A few small things short of a 5-star review, but I would definitely stay here again. Well-equipped and a good value.

What a wonderful and exceptional place to stay. I live in Keaau and one of my dearest friend was visiting from North Carolina. I wanted for her to experience The west side of the island for a few days during her visit. This condo is perfectly located downtown Kona near lots of restaurants and stores. The condo itself is beautifully decorated, and well equipped with anything you may need on your vacation and well maintained. Every detail of our stay was fabulous. I would highly recommend this condo for any occasion when visiting Kona. Will definitely book again in the future.

What a location ! Super close to some great restaurants and shops. The space was really nice - lots of nice touches. We really enjoyed the spotting scope - it was perfect for watching the school of dolphins that came to play one morning.

We had a leak (downstairs bedroom) in the cupboard after heavy rain showers. It did not reappear or happen with the Air Con on.The two sliding doors (upstairs bedroom) and lounge door to balcony could not be secured. CJK manager fixed one of the upstairs doors but not the others.The Air Con control in the upstairs bedroom was very difficult to operate due to either batteries or faulty on/off switch. The rooms were clean as was the lounge and kitchen. We washed the towels and hopefully left the kitchen as clean as we found it. We only had breakfast there each day.

This is a beautiful unit in an older condo building with an amazing ocean view. It’s only 2 blocks from the farmers market, restaurants and shops in the heart of Kona. There were many amenities and supplies left by former tenants.,The ocean breeze and many fans kept the unit cool even in the heat of the day. The Murphy bed came in handy even for just the two of us. It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms. Check-in was easy even after dark, due to flight delays. Management was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this unit and this company.

Everything was nice. Beautiful view. Nice condo. We have stayed at several at Kona Alii. We do have 2 complaints. The door entering for the first time was very difficult till you get the hang of it. The unit also had quite a bit of cockaroaches. Could have used those black roach houses that most units have in them.

The beach view and parking were ok. The condo was not real clean - kitchen floor, hall bathroom floor, light switches were dirty, and every knife I tried to use from the butcher block was dirty. I attribute this to the cleaning staff. The hall bath shower door doesn't stay closed, and the pumps on most of the shampoos, conditioners, body washes and lotions did not pump. Just as a heads up - we had to call EMS for one of our guests, and the fire department said they didn't have a key to the lobby to get in to help people. My husband had to go let them in. This could be a real problem for anyone that is alone there that needs emergency services. And the upstairs smoke alarm atarted chirping so we removed the battery, which will need to be replaced.

This unit is amazing! We've stayed in 20 vrbos and this was, by far, the best stocked rental we've ever had. The location is so convenient to restaurants and the pier. The building is very secure. We enjoyed the Smart TV, too, as we could hook into our streaming service. We enjoyed coffee on the lanai every morning. What a view! I'd give this 10 stars if I could.

Property location was fine, the area is really loud with excessive noise. The unit and host were fantastic, I wish we could say the same for the building manager. He likes to read into the exiting rules to his interpretations. If your staying for a week or less and going to be taking in the sites during the day it's fine. We stayed 29 days for leisure vacation wanting to utilize the pool and accommodations but unfortunately that didn't transpire. The manager lives above the pool so be aware of how much noise (excessive) your kids make having fun in the pool. I wish we had a better review, but in the 25 yrs of coming to Kona renting condo's this was our worst experience.

This was the worst unit we've ever rented through VRBO! The unit was filthy, mildew/mold in showers, floors were filthy black dirty, unit was hotter than hell, the noise from the basketball/soccer court right outside the unit, the little tiny broken box that she called an AC unit was 8 x 8 and didn't cool ANYTHING! VRBO WAS NO HELP! People like this should be fined! I would never recommend this place or VRBO SERVICES! I stayed with family and refused to stay there. My friend stayed by himself most of the days because he paid for it! We used my sisters AC unit in the living room only, which kept the room at 80 to 85 degrees the whole time! Which was way too hot to stay in! The most disgusting unit EVER!!!!

My cousin and niece joined me for first week of my vacation, and I let them have the bed. I took the fold out couch. After they left, I didn’t move from the couch! 19 nights. It was that comfortable. A nice surprise, for sure! Very well stocked, including beach stuff Seven beach towels, leave yours at home. Some beach stuff could be replaced, but you’d get by. The security in this building is excellent. Didn’t bother me at all to be here two weeks alone. The only thing I bring up is living room drapes. They don’t cover all the windows and night light from other side of building was a bit annoying (to me). Loved my stay here and would love to return. Communication with realty co was great.

The place was beautiful and clean with a gorgeous view. My only complaint is that it was advertised as having air conditioning, and when we got there, it turns out the air conditioning was broken. It should be fixed in the next week or so, so that shouldn’t be a problem for future guests. It just was pretty hot for us, unfortunately. Otherwise, everything else was lovely.

We had a wonderful vacation in Hawaii and the condo was perfect! The location is ideal! Just a 5 minute walk to farmer’s market, restaurants, shopping, beaches and more.
