Well located complex on the water. Well equipped condo with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and loads of snorkeling gear. But, the place is fairly old with noisy A/C and fridge and it's the unit furthest from the Ocean and closest to the road in the back corner of the complex with people walking by the louvered bedroom window.

We were so pleased with this beautiful condo.The property is exactly as the listing says it is. The fridge held a number of condiments as did the cupboard. There was shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom was a nice surprise.The pool is a very short distance away and the waterfront area is a wonderful place to watch the spectacular sunsets. We definitely recommend and would love to stay again sometime.

Room With A View. Nothing like looking out your front window and seeing and hearing the ocean, the whales and the dolphins. Room is adequately equipped, excellent washer and drier. Lots of hot water and good pressure. Bed is comfy, but small (a double?), should be upgraded to a king.It would be nice to have table and chairs on the deck, I'd rather eat outside in Hawaii. A few more coffee mugs would be great too. Looking forward to returning next year!

Everything was great. Everything was in the condo that you needed. The view was amazing. Short walk to the grill area where the view of the ocean was perfect. Everything you needed for the beach. This condo was really quiet. Perfect size for a family of 4. Everything was close by. We enjoyed our stay. Air-conditioning in the living room and a bedroom was a big plus. We highly recommend this place.

Waking up and enjoying our morning coffee on a sunny balcony with an ocean view was delightful. It is obvious that the owner takes pride in making this condo a wonderful place to stay. Check was a breeze and I loved the system used to enter the condo door, amazing! You walk in to fantastic views of the ocean, it’s so much closer than the pictures appear on the listing, I was blown away! The patio chairs were extremely comfortable. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the sandy shore loungers. it was very relaxing listening to the waves crash on the shoreline. The bed was firm but comfortable, I slept great. The a/c was a nice touch although I love the nice breezes that you get when you open the beautiful sliding glass doors and the windows in the bedroom. The shower was very spacious and nice although the glass does not extend far enough so water gets on the floor outside of the shower, so watch for wet tile. We felt the furniture was not terribly comfortable. I noticed it in the pictures so it did not come as a surprise because I don’t find rattan furniture to be comfortable in general. The furnishing looked nice and they have a very nice TV. I loved having a washer and dryer. The location couldn’t be better, only about a mile to the heart of the town where all the good restaurants and shopping are located. We loved our stay and we would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area. 5 stars all around!!

We could use the back (sliding door) for going to the pool or beach which was very close. We were a little farther from the parking lot because we were so close to the ocean. However, still very convenient. It was relaxing and quiet. The noise came from the ocean waves to put me to sleep each night. Whale watching from our patio was another highlight along with the evening sunset. Location was better than I had expected. Owner was very helpful when I had questions and timely with her response.

Michael was a fantastic host - very communicative, cordial and was able to accommodate me and my friends with an additional stay. He gave out clear instructions/boundaries on housing do’s/dont’s, which is always appreciated as a guest. The location was 20-30 min from the airport and a 10-15 min drive from many beaches via drive. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

This is our 3rd time staying at Kona Isle and the first time in this unit. It was as amazing!The unit is so well put together, everything that we needed. The highlights for us were the pool, the sunset, the BBQ area and how everyone meets down there to watch the sunset (and claps when its a good one! LOL).The bed is very comfortable and we had all the beach stuff we could ever need. Will definitely consider staying here again if we get back to the Big Island...which I hope we do soon! My wife and I stayed at this property for our anniversary trip to the big island. The unit was wonderfully decorated, the kitchen had an open layout and was updated, in unit washer and dryer, and the lanai had a beautiful view of the ocean when looking west out from the lanai. The unit has an AC window unit, which was a little loud, and didn't cool the bedroom too much, but there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom to keep it cool. The grounds were well kept and nicely landscaped. We grilled several times at the outdoor beach area and watched so many beautiful sunsets and a couple of moonsets (yes, at 3 in the morning!). The shaded seating, benches, loungers, and the palm trees in the beach area was very relaxing and peaceful while listening to the waves. Although we didn't swim in the pool, it was very clean and well tended. There are a lot of beach "extras" supplied such as beach chairs, boogie boards, a beach umbrella (we used this at Magic Sands beach, and it was fantastic) and a nice size cooler for food/beverages. Audri was very quick to answer any questions we had, and it was a pleasure to interact with her. Thank you, Audri, for making our anniversary trip so wonderful, relaxing, and memorable!

The condo is in great location a little south of the busiest area of Kailua Kona bay. Less commercial but still very convenient. It has a great ocean/pool view. The condo is spacious with a sink in master bedroom which provides additional convenience. Checkin and checkout very easy. We enjoyed it very much.

The location was great, as advertised with views from the lanai so we didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy the ocean and hear the waves breaking.Very well equipped condo with everything we needed and then some. Communication and responsiveness with the owner and property manager was excellent.The only negative was the firmness of the bed. The rest of the furnishings were very nice and comfortable.I would recommend and stay at the is location again.

You can’t beat the views from this third floor corner unit, the lanai was a treat any time of day or night. AC worked well when we needed it at night. Kitchen was well stocked, instruction book clear and communication with owner great. The remodel is now dated, and a bit worn out. The mattress needs to be replaced and the fridge didn’t work, which we discovered the day after we had loaded it with groceries. Thankfully there was a small fridge in the condo we could use. Owner was in the process of getting a replacement fridge. Unit was clean but needs a deep clean (screen in the shower, dusting light fixtures, grout, etc. )The grounds and pool are excellent, loved the lounge area on the “beach” and pool. Overall, we expected a bit more for the price, based on our many previous Vrbo rentals.

My husband, me and our 15 month old infant had a great time staying here. It's only few minutes away from lots of attractions that Kona can offer. We loved our morning time hanging out on the rocky beach of the property and taking our toddler to the tide pools only steps away from where we stayed. I hope we get to visit Kona again, we now know where to stay!

Our one week stay was amazing. The condo was clean and well equipped with starter coffee, sugar and spices as well as diswasher detergent and laundry soap. We enjoyed four nights barbequing and sitting on the lanai watching the waves and sunset. A nice 2.5 km walk into town was great for a brunch in one of the many open air restaurants. We loved the relaxed vibe of the big island. We look forward to returning in 2025. Thank you Gary and Yan!

We stayed for one week and thoroughly enjoyed the location and grounds. We enjoyed the beach area next to the ocean with the lounge chairs and bbq. It was a great area to watch the sunset. The other people staying in the complex were super friendly and we had great conversations one afternoon by the pool. The check-in process went flawlessly and the communication with the property manager was excellent. The unit itself had everything that we needed and the lanai had a great view of the pool and ocean.

This our second time on Hawai’i Island but first time in a Knutson managed property. The condo we rented was in a nice location. It has an awesome ocean view. At least three occasions we watched dolphins in the ocean from our lanai. The dolphin “shows” alone were worth the price of admission.The unit itself was clean and fairly well maintained. Knutson offered help if we needed it. There were no issues that required immediate attention or affected our stay. Yes, we would recommend a Knutson managed property to our friends.

Pictures and description matched the in-person experience. I appreciated the beach materials and cookware available to make the stay convenient for all activities! At one point we thought we were locked out on the patio but the owner was responsive and immediately helped resolve the issue. Hoping the washer is cleaned d/t mildew smell, but everything else was great and we would stay there again!

This was a great condo to come back to after a day of exploring to watch the sunsets over the water. There is an area right on the property at the shore with sand and chairs behind a seawall of black lava rocks from which to watch the sunsets or night sky. My wife saw whales from there. There are barbeques there as well. People there are very friendly to newcomers. It was very quiet there in the evenings and night.
This place has a dedicated parking spot like everyone else appears to have so there was enough parking to go around for all. Nobody else was ever parked in our spot.
Inside the condo it was clean and has some tasteful Hawaii décor to help get you in the local spirit.
It's well stocked with everything you'd imagine a condo would have such as towels, dishes, frying pans, etc. It was great to have food in the fridge, and do some cooking there to save on the restaurant time and bills.
We found the body surfing boards and took one out to Kua Bay and our son says the body surfing was the best part of the whole trip!
The host Michael proactively contacted me a few days before we arrived to let me know the check-in process and how to access the keys to the condo.
If we return to Hawaii in a few years we'll stay there again if this condo is still available.
