We very much enjoyed our stay. The absence of AC was in many ways a benefit, as keeping the screen doors open during the day gave us both the view and the sounds of the ocean. Sitting on the lanai for meals or coffee or drinks with the ocean in front of you makes this unit very attractive.

We absolutlely loved this property.
The condo was well equipped and cutely decorated, but we mostly wanted to stay here because of the condo complex itself. Three story, very low key, I think it was just 4 small buildings and all situated so that each unit has a view of the ocean and a LOVELY, quiet beachfront common area. We sat out there quite often and several times organized local fish purchase, drinks or wine to go out at sunset, grill our dinner and relax and watch the amazing ocean and sunsets. There is not a better dining location or ambiance on the island.
We had a few minor issues with the condo that would be expected here on tropical island paradise, which Audri quickly and graciously took care of.
We host a vacation unit here in our hometown of Portland OR and know how challenging things can be to keep everything together, so if you notice anything or need anything, just let Audri know and she will make it right. She is a five-star hostess!
Hope others will enjoy this condo complex and Audri's unit. It is kind of a hidden gem. We plan to be back as soon as we can!

I have mixed feelings after our stay here. We enjoyed our stay overall but we probably wouldn’t stay here again.
The good:
- The view from the lanai is wonderful.
- Nice common areas. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The sandy area by the ocean was our favorite
- Good location. Walkable to town if you don’t mind a longer walk.
- The AC works well; with two units the bedroom stayed cool for sleeping.
- Assigned parking.
- Beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella provided.
- Management was very responsive whenever we had an issue.
The not so good:
- The biggest issue was the bugs in the kitchen. While I know bugs are common in Hawaii, this was the first time in any Hawaii rental unit that we’ve ever had an issue. Management did their best to respond but it unfortunately will probably take time to address. We kept all our food sealed and took out trash daily but still had significantly more bugs than we’ve ever had in a Hawaii rental.
- The unit could use a good deep clean. Management sent a cleaning crew back out at our request, but the whole unit really needs to be thoroughly dusted (things like doors and decor), insides of cabinets wiped down, and all the kitchen items gone through to ensure they are actually clean.
- Linens (especially the sheets) are worn out and need to be replaced.
- The kitchen has no consumables - only salt and pepper. No oil of any kind, no spices, no foil (we left some behind).

The inside was a bit dated but unless you’re planning on spending your Hawaii vacation inside then it shouldn’t be a bother. Whenever you enter a new place you have certain expectations and hopes The view from our unit was beautiful and the grounds were clean and well maintained.
The entering and exiting was easy to do but our disappointment was in cleanliness. The carpeting was very dirty - even though it requested shoes being left outside. Furniture needed refreshing. Bathroom had red around drain which I thought was rust but turned out to be a red gel of some sort. A few adjustments would make it perfect and inviting.
Controlling temperature was easy in living and kitchen area, but bedroom in evening was very hot even with 3 fans going. It did cool down by morning.
We enjoyed our stay in Kona but the unit needs some care.

This is a great place to stay! The condo is decorated very tropical/Hawaiian and I love it. Everything you could want for cooking is there, dishes, sharp knives, lots of pots and pans. The bed is very comfortable, the shower very cool,
all the added thoughtful, useful touches make it great. I did miss having a dishwasher, hadn’t noticed that in the listing.
Having a washer and dryer in the condo was wonderful. I would be happy to stay here again!

This place had everything we were looking for. The location is great, the place well stocked and you can’t beat the sound of crashing waves and the unobstructed oceanfront view. The complex is quiet, but still very family/kid friendly. The beach chairs and umbrella were great, but wish there had been a small cooler to use. Yes, the place could use a few fixes- a cupboard needed a new hinge, more outlets near the bed to plug in devices, a cheese grater in the kitchen- but these were small issues and easy to work around. I will never understand why people pay the high prices of a resort with all the added fees and crowds when you can have your own slice of heaven like this one.

The grounds are immaculate and exceptionally well maintained. The view from the lanai has to be one of the best, if not, the best location in the complex. We spent much time enjoying our meals and drinks on the lanai. While seeing an occasional whale and the many boats and canoes sailing by.
The unit was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Certainly an enjoyable stay.

This was our third visit to Kona Isle and our second stay in unit A4. We had a wonderful time! We love the ocean front location of the resort, watching whales, enjoying the sunsets and bbq's. The pool is also lovely. The resort has many senior owners and visitors which suited us perfectly! For the most part, it's quiet although you will hear occasional traffic noise along Ali'i drive. There was also intermittent construction noise this time from a residential development across the street. A4 is well equipped and met all our needs. The unit is partially renovated with many welcome updates (no carpet!). The tub/shower could use a bit of TLC. It has a view of the ocean across the lawn from the left side of the lanai which we very much enjoyed. Knutson management was helpful as usual, quickly providing a couple of small items that needed replacing in the unit. We look forward to staying again!

The only negative was that there was no air conditioner in the bedroom, only the main room. But other than that, super!!

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. Being on the ground level was so convenient. Especially because it gave us the most amazing views! . The beachfront area had plenty of tables & seating. We only grilled one night, but it was so special to then enjoy it as the sun was setting. And speaking of sunsets, words can't describe them, you just need to see them for yourself!
We never got a chance to use the pool or the saltwater pool, but many others were taking advantage of them.
There's a little path to the right of the grills and it brings you to a quiet space where you can watch the waves, do yoga, read, etc.
The kitchen space is so immaccuately organized. There is everything you need and it is all neatly stored in the cupboards. There is no dishwasher, but one is NOT needed because there is a huge sink that made washing our dishes so easy.
Another perk is having the washer and dryer right there. I could have packed so much less if I would have thought it out better.
The location is great~ very near lots of restaurants, shops, and beaches. We enjoyed Huggos on the Rocks, Humpy's Big Island Alehouse, and Magic Sands. The views, food, & drinks at all of them were top-notch.
Also it is a central location to travel farther north or south to other popular spots.There was a closet full of beach gear to help us enjoy our stay. I really appreciated the yoga mat, beach chairs, and coolers. These made our visits to other beaches so much more enjoyable.

This was our second time staying in this beautiful in so many ways condo. The view is perfect. The complex grounds are pretty and the pool is quiet. Centrally located, close to Kona and near a nice outdoor market place. Our teenage granddaughter enjoyed swimming in the natural pool adjacent. We hope to visit again.

Everything was fabulous and exceeded our expectations! The suite was very clean and bright and was equipped with everything we needed from cooking meals to being beach-ready. They have thought of everything for an easy and enjoyable stay!
The highlight was waking up to the amazing view right outside the lanai - very private and comfortable to enjoy morning coffee and breakfast or a glass of wine while watching the amazing sunsets.
Perfect location in Kona - close enough to everything but far enough away for peace and quiet. Again, the oceanfront location of suite was perfect to watch the surf, sunsets, and whales - which was the highlight.

Everything about this condo was perfect! It was beautifully designed for vacation rental, with all the accoutrements we could have imagined included. We were able to eat outside on the patio most meals. James was a great host, very responsive- although we had very few concerns, as he covered questions we may have had with email/text instructions. We also loved the complex and how friendly they all were. Swimming in the pool, watching the Humpbacks, grilling/sunset watching right from the the property grounds.

Exactly as advertised. Easy and free parking. Very clean unit. Queen Bed was ok, but not great. 2 ceiling fans and a floor fan worked well. Small wall mount AC works great for living room, not great for the bedroom even with the fan suggestions. You may find it sleeps a bit too warm. High speed internet, worked great. TV had a lot of channels, I mean a lot! The complex is very very quiet, which was nice. This Unit is a ground floor end unit next to the parking lot, which was great to move in/out and for packing our golf clubs daily. It worked really well for us. The small lanai was great for morning coffees. Condo was stocked well with everything you would expect and more. There is a stair case next to the bedroom windows, you will hear people using it when you are in bed. The location is great; far enough from town to be away from the noise and most homeless. Close enough to walk 30 mins, or take a 5 minute $7 Uber. We took Ubers which were easy to get and always friendly. The condo waterfront is great to watch the waves and the sunsets. Beautiful sunsets! Site check-in was easy, communication with Michael was too…although we never really needed him.
Overall, we were very happy with the stay. Would recommend for sure. Thanks Michael!

We loved our 2 week stay in this lovely condo! Well equipped with things like a coffee grinder, air fryer, beach chairs, umbrella, 3 different coolers, boogie boards, toys, games and more. (No dishwasher but being 2 it was never a problem) Also, no ice maker but trays provided or you could walk next door to the convenience store and buy some. Gorgeous decor as well. We were always comfortable in the apartment even without A/C…being an end unit there is great ventilation in the bedroom and the ceiling fans in the main room and bedroom were all we needed. (There were floor fans supplied as well). We appreciated the sun screen in front of the lanai for the late afternoon. The condo complex is immaculately cared for with a manager on site who keeps everything so clean and inviting! We used the pool, the sandy beach area - great loungers and umbrellas as well as plenty of natural shade from the trees. We appreciated the numerous picnic tables which allowed us to invite friends over for an evening meal prepared on one of the 3 gas barbecues. Because it is set back from busy Ali’i drive, it was so quiet both day and night. An added bonus was the public saltwater pool next to the complex - As it is not maintained, the water can get cloudy if the surf is low. We were lucky enough at the end of our stay that the surf picked up and cleaned it completely out - we spent our last day lounging and swimming in the pool. Great parking spot too. We would return in a heartbeat! Mahalo!

We found your property and condo very delightful. The condo had most everything we needed for cooking, had plenty of towels for personal, pool and sun, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment. Even some basic spices in the kitchen, enough paper goods for most of the week which we refreshed before the end of our stay. Sufficient cleaning supplies and nice appliances. It took a couple of tries to understand the dishwasher and the washer dryer combo. All was in great working order .
The nightly sound of the waves put us to sleep and the view from the lanai was Awesome as was the whale watching from the same spot. The property was quiet and pretty much occupied by our same vintage 😉👍 The manager is hard working and we often observed him cleaning the grill area, raking the sand and all around cleaning and maintaining the grounds. Very nice man and I’m sorry to have not asked his name. Parking was easy and all in all we would visit this condo again.
We loved the little market walking south and across the street. All the vendors were so nice. The Ahi Poke bowl was amazing, so was the chocolate vendor, the Hawaiian soap, etc. I brought my Ukulele and enjoyed the sunsets as I played. The waves were pleasant and quite loud so I don’t think anyone else could hear my playing and that’s okay, lol.
One drawback is that there aren’t a lot of routes to walk other than the busy Alii Road.
Time to upgrade your sheets and the comforter was getting rather pillballed . Mahalo 💕😊🌴

This was a wonderful oceanfront condo. It was exactly as listed. We had a beautiful view of the sunset everyday. The condo was well stocked with extra items for beach days as well. Check in was extremely easy. They even left my husband and I a special card/gift bag since we were there celebrating our 10 year anniversary. I would highly recommend this condo.

It is situated on the corner with great views of ocean making it better than the other ones in either building B or C because you dont have to directly look across at the other units. Beautiful oceanfront condo. The condo was quite comfortable and spacious and well equipped. Loved that there were beach chairs and an ice chest for our various outings. Having A/C for overnight made sleeping comfortable. Property was beautifully landscaped and loved the beach area for soaking up the sun and the pool for cooling down. Our favorite spot is the lanai and whale watching and taking in the beautiful sunsets. We definitely plan on coming back and staying in this condo again.

Lovely condo, exactly as shown. We loved having the gas grills and picnic area with lounge chairs. There was always a group of friendly people gathering to watch the sunsets and the whales. Owner was full of helpful suggestions and great communication. Do yourself a favour and eat at Jackie Rey’s and the Rebel Kitchen - both were fantastic!
