Beautiful condo in old building. Fully renovated and current except NO AC. You can open up to vent out some of the heat and humidity but a simple upgrade of a mini split air conditioner would make this place a perfect 10.

Two weeks went by too fast! Everything was clean, in great order, and comfortable. Everything you might need had been thought of. Plenty of parking, elevator, fully equipped unit, large lanai , TV, comfortable beds. Beautiful sunsets every day! Called Mike about something and he was great and accommodating. Don't hesitate to stay and enjoy this condo. BTW. Found another great restaurant called Sunset Kai Launai. South of the condo at the shopping center. Incredible view, fantastic Mai Tai's and the best ribs ever.

Enjoyed the water view, and the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks. We spent most mornings with a cup of tea on the lanai watching the sky lighten and the day begin. Check in and out was just so very easy. Nice choice of spices and coffee available. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the very, very slow traffic going north into town or trying to get to the north part of the island. It was incredibly slow. Unfortunately, we had several things planed in town and to the north. However, if you are going to hang around the condo or explore to the south I recommend this condo. It is a sweet spot.

All 5 of us were very pleased with out short stay. Large enough deck for all of us to hang out and enjoy coffee in the morning, and beautiful sunsets each evening. Kitchen was well stocked and owner was very resonsive with a few quick questions we had.

Difficulty finding building 3 for us & 6 for our friends. Signage is not lit at night & is recessed from street. Individual unit #s are not adequately marked from parking lot. either.
At another time, the Night site manager did not answer his phone for couple who had locked themselves out of condo above us. Then, They used our phone to call Vacasa ‘S 1 800 line who were able to provide entrance code .

Really beautiful property. The views are amazing. Woke every morning to the sunrise. Slept every night with the doors to the ocean open. Very safe area and super beautiful. You can't swim in the water from house but the tide pools are so cool. Could use coffee filters and more toilet paper for longer rentals. Definitely need a bath mat for shower. I'd book this again in a minute. Very well maintained. A process on check in. Thanks for the memories!

Very nice, spacious accomodations though missing a few things. The master bedroom defintely needs a small dresser; not everything can be hung on hangers. Also no pot holders or tongs available. Insulated glasses would be really appreciated as the coasters do not absorb any of the moisture from the glasses. Great views, spacious, well stocked kitchen, and good quality bathroom and bedroom linens.

The unit is spacious...large, very comfy living area with a dining nook for two, opening up onto a lanai with a spectacular ocean view. Adjacent decently equipped kitchen with a large fridge, oven, dishwasher and microwave. Stackable wasjet/dryer was great. The large comfy bedroom is on the streetside which is noisy by day, but no real problem at night. Bathroom/shower/tub is not updated, but adequate. Outstanding communication with manager including his huge email file with useful tips. The unit is a bit old, not updated, but a great value. We enjoyed it.

3rd time in this building but first time in this unit. Wonderfully upgraded, central location to the elevator, best view of the beach and surfers. It was the best stocked kitchen I’ve encountered with everything you can think of, including a full spice rack. So amazing !

Had a great stay, though there was an issue they made it right.The place had an amazing location with a small convenience store across the street, poke and tacos nearby, and some of the best surfing and sunset views you can find! One note is that only the master bedroom and living room have in-wall A/C, the rest have ceiling fans but if you sleep hot you may want the master.All was great, would stay here again

Very clean, great kitchen, great lanai. This was a 3 week trip - one week on Kauai, one week on Maui, and one week in Kona. This was our favorite condo.We left the patio doors open all night and the sound from the waves is almost too loud! Almost. :-)If we go back to the Kona side we will try to get this exact same unit.

Everyone will tell you about the fantastic beach views with whale watching from the lanai, the great location along a wonderful stretch of Ali’i Drive, the beautiful finishes - but if, like me, you do an extensive amount of cooking in vacation rentals and have your own bag of kitchen equipment that you bring along - you won’t need any of It. The kitchen is fantastic. The knives are even very good quality.Not our first stay, nor our last.

There are always turtles within view of the patio, surfers as well. We also saw a couple whales breaching as we sat on the patio.The condo is great- the kitchen is set up very well, so if you're going to be cooking in a lot it's pretty much all there save for seasonings. The bed was awesome. This unit does not have AC, but with all of the ceiling fans and the large patio doors open there was plenty of airflow. The couch is a bit dated. Wifi is excellent.If you need a (cheap) place within walking distance of downtown Kona this is a great deal.

Clean and comfortable. It is across the street from the ocean and we watched the sunsets each evening. We also were entertained by local surfers each day and evening. Great location with snorkeling a couple miles south.A “winter storm” was predicted and the owner made sure we were aware of it. He sent a text to notify us that an email would be coming. Great views! Nothing between the condo and ocean but a little grass. We saw whales, dolphins, monk seal, turtles, eels plus able to watch surfers all from the unit. One reason we choose the unit was the AC however we never turned it on. Leaving the screens open and having the ceiling fans provided all the cooling we needed. Unit is well stocked if you stay a week, staying longer may require you buy consumables. Street noise can be a problem for those staying in the front bedroom which is a bit small for two adults. Unit was clean but floors could have used a little more cleaning. This unit will be on our list for future visits.

Be cautious when considering this unit, as what you see in the photos does not accurately represent reality. The furniture is entirely different — gone are the recliners, and now the living room seats three. Gone is the pictured artwork, leaving primarily bare walls. Priced among the luxury units, it has no amenities, such as a stereo or a radio. It's sparsely furnished and stocked, necessitating we bought kitchen linens and coffee mugs. The primary bedroom is part of the living room with a thin partition not shown in the photos. The second bedroom was habitually hot from poor airflow, receiving no AC. The AC is not central, but a window unit in the living room. The condo complex is small and old. Some parts of this unit have been "updated" but done minimally and cheaply. Overall, we paid for a luxury unit and received a budget one. The unit did not live up to our previous VBRO experiences.

The condo was wonderful. It is decorated so cute and fully stocked with everything you will need. Seriously all you need is your clothes and food. The balcony has two recliner chairs, table and chairs and an amazing view of the ocean. Condo was very clean and beds super comfy. Holly was great to work with and would not hesitate to stay here again. There are many great restaurants and shopping just up the street. Thank you Holly for making such a beautiful place for us to come and experience Hawaii.

Overall, we loved our stay here. The Lanai overlooking the ocean makes this place a true gem! The best sunsets, surfers, boats, turtles and fish in the tide pools below. There is no AC here, but all the fans and the screen doors open made it very comfortable. The sound of the ocean is literally all you can hear. This place is quiet and calm. We loved our stay. We had just a few minor issues and Vacasa was very responsive. I had heard negative things about Vacasa, but we had a great experience with them. The complimentary laundry pods and Hawaiian snacks were a nice touch. We will be back!

What a wonderful stay we had at Holly's place. Everything was as shown/described in photos --and even better. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of beach towels, chairs and other beach items, and the king beds were super comfortable. Water pressure and Wifi were great too. I'm embarrassed to admit how much time we spent just hanging out on the lanai though--such an amazing spot. It was stormy while we were there and the lanai was the perfect place to take it all in. The unit was quiet and nice and cool. We never heard neighbors, though if sleeping in the back bedroom light sleepers might want earplugs as there can be noisy vehicles on Ali'i Dr from time to time. We only used the air con at night and even then probably would have been okay without it. The fans move the air nicely and if there is a little breeze, you can turn the fans and air co off, open the front and back doors and get a great cross breeze. The location was awesome, as da poke shack is super close (walking distance) and next door to the condo development, by the church, there was a shave ice/taco truck and on saturdays, a small farmers market. The fish tacos were superb! Easy drive to Keauhou or Kona for groceries, restaurants, and super quick drives to magic sands and kahalu'u. If getting groceries, it seems faster to go to the KTA in Keauhou- the stop signs on Ali'i Dr. towards Kona get pretty backed up.We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it highly!!! The room was amazing. Quite complex, which was nice. There is a ourdoor church next to the property which has ourdoor services and Sunday with music. I wasn't expecting that. We were up and ready to go, so the music did not both us. I understand the traffic can get backed up a bit at the 4 way stop after church. There was a sheriff to direct traffic. It was not a problem for us. Would definitely stay again.
