This was our second stay at this amazing unit. Check in is easy, unit is clean and stocked with anything you might need. Views are outstanding. Beds are comfortable and a/c is always much appreciated. A/C added to the second bedroom is wonderful! We love checking out the tide pools and watching the waves and sunsets. This is a beautiful rental in Kona, HI. My family just spent 10 nights here, and it was great. The ocean view is even better than advertised, and easy to get to shopping and the airport in Kona. The place was very clean, well maintained, with all the amenities the host has listed in the description. We would definitely stay at this property again.

When I book condos, I look for 3 things: 1. Does it sleep and seat the amount of people stated, 2. How well stocked is the condo, 3. Does it have parking. This condo clearly meets the seating and sleeping requirement as well as the parking for us but the stocking of supplies is over the top! There were an abundance of towels, spices, shampoos, laundry detergent, blow dryers, plastic wrap, coffee, sheets, pillows and trash bags. We were there for R&R and cooked almost every night without buying extra supplies. And of course the view was spectacular!

The host Holly was quick to respond to my requests. The condo was well stocked with towels, dishes, pots and pans. Some rentals give you only a small supply of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry and dish soap, this rental gave you more than enough. It was well located to grocery stores.Well worth the money.

This place is worth the view! The lanai looks right over the ocean and has patio seating where you can enjoy a meal or just sit outside as the sun sets. If you're looking for a place to stay in Kailua-Kona with a beach front view, this place is great!A couple of notes to keep in mind—the condo has a nice, small kitchen where guests can cook their meals.We found parking to be easy—just have to be sure to follow the parking permit instructions.The host also provided us with some beach chairs and snorkel gear—lots of places to snorkel on the Big Island.The condo itself is older—there are signs that the space has been used well.There isn't AC. This condo, like many others in Hawaii, rely heavily on the trade winds. If you're coming during the warmer months, expect the condo to be warm, even at night. The host provided an upright fan for the bedroom, but the bedroom will still be hot during warmer evenings. You can keep the front screen door open along with the lanai door to help keep the temperature at bay, but we did get really hot during our stay—it's just a part of the Hawaii condo experience. If things get too warm, the complex has a pool area to cool off, or you can find a beach to cool off at.Where the condo is on Ali'i Drive, we really enjoyed the taco stand that's right down the stairs and a 30-second walk down the road. While we didn't get to enjoy the poke place in the complex, many people have said the place is good!

The deck and view were phenomenal. Open the sliders and the sea is right there in all its glory with binoculars included to help you watch for birds and whales. Also the interior space is quite large for the rate and did include a washer, dryer and dish washer. The downside is that the bedroom is on the street side of the condo and REALLY loud with traffic all night and lights shining into the space despite the mini blinds. Also hot and humid in May with no central air or dehumidifier. We wound up sleeping in the living room which was neither comfortable nor practical. Also the little things like toilet paper and body soap were missing. Toiletries and cooking supplies limited to what was left by other renters. So view, location, and cleanliness great but not so solid with creature comforts.

As many reviews had stated this apartment is a little dated, so that was no surprise, but it’s very clean and well stocked, with lots of beach equipment, if you need that. The road noise from the bedroom wasn’t really an issue for us, the traffic settled fairly early in the evening, so apart from an occasional noisy vehicle driving past it was quiet. The sunsets from the apartment are beautiful and watching the ocean from the balcony is very relaxing.

The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and having the laundry room was a big plus. Everything that we needed was included and there was even portable chairs, umbrellas and beach items! The view was incredible with the ocean just below us and the large balcony was great. The ad stated there were 3 bedrooms but the pictures showed 4 which was perfect for the 8 of us. We definitely would stay again and the May weather was perfect.

We loved our stay at this top floor condo in Kona! Our check-in process was super easy, and once we were in, we marveled at the cleanliness of the space, and the beautiful ocean view! Within a few hours, we saw a fantastic sunset!The condo sits in a very walkable area of Kona, with marketplaces to explore. It’s far enough away from the busy downtown/tourist area, but not too far! Beautiful beaches are within easy driving distance, but you can actually surf right in front of this location! The owners have thoughtfully included beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as snorkeling equipment and boogie boards for their guests. We were able to explore several different beaches along the coast with the beach gear, and beach towels, also supplied by the hosts!The resort complex itself is very well maintained, with well kept grounds and a sparkling pool and jacuzzi. The parking was very easy, too!We had a fantastic time at this beautiful condo and would not hesitate to stay here again! Mahalo, Stephanie and Steven!

The studio condo was as described. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. We saw a couple of amazing sunsets. The condo was pretty clean except for the corner in the bedroom area which had lots of cords and had not been cleaned in a good while. The condo is very well stocked! We had everything we needed including paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and detergent. There was a little confusion as to light switches and which one controlled what, but we figured it out. The big negative for us was the lack of hot water for showers. The first day I took a shower and before I could finish, the water was running cold. We had carefully read the information on how to adjust the shower but still ended up with cold water. I contacted the host to ask if someone could come out and adjust the temperature. My partner had a shower the next day and managed to finish her shower before it got cold knowing that there was a small amount of warm water available. We determined that we would just shower at opposite times. Evidently there is a setting for just the shower temperature because we always had plenty of hot water in the kitchen and in the sink in the bathroom. This was irritating but we just learned to quickly get in and get out in the somewhat warm water before it turned cold. I would encourage future vacationers to make sure the necessary adjustments to the temperature have been made prior to booking. Overall we had a nice stay.

This place does not live up to the “Deluxe” in its heading. It is old, a bit run down, dark and dirty. We were very disappointed and regretful. We asked for a money back for the cleaning because it was not clean for us but we got no response. The bathroom fan/light had a short and flickered continuously and even would stop so we could not use it leaving the bathroom unusable for getting ready. Chens and dirt behind everything, even easily movable items. Many things didn’t work. Think carefully unless you don’t care about nice surroundings on vacation.

The view alone made this place a slice of heaven, but the numerous extra touches elevated it even further. Holly has this place stocked with coffee, tea, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap,) hair dryers, beach towels, plenty of hand and shower towels, beach chairs, coolers, a body board and float device, snacks and binoculars!The bed is comfy (we only used the one) and waking up to immediately seeing the ocean was priceless! You can see spinner dolphins in the morning from the lanai.We didn’t turn the AC on at all, as sleeping with the doors open and fans running was refreshing. We also never turned on the TV- why would we when that view is calling?!Holly was responsive, and when I mentioned one of the recliners on the lanai was difficult to open/close, she sent someone over to fix it immediately!There are so many amenities with this unit, I’m impressed.We will definitely come back!

We were absolutely delighted with this property. It is in an older condo building, but our unit showed many upgrades and was stocked with too many amenities to list. We selected this unit primarily for the incredible view from the lanai. It is truly spectacular. Condo is in a convenient location as well. Our host responded immediately to my inquiries. If you are looking for fancy chrome and glass this unit isn’t for you. If it’s clean spacious comfort you want, then book this unit and be prepared to be delighted.

Room was clean but the 2nd bedroom stayed hot- a lot of road noise and homeless people off their meds were screaming through the night. The view was nice. Could never get the one Tv working . Washer and dryer were very useful nice kitchen. The master bedroom seem to be very nice. Just wasn’t aware that there was not an elevator or we couldn’t find one so that was always a workout. Parking was good. It was a nice place in a good area. Never did use the pool. Bathroom were great My only concern was the back bedroom being not cold and the street noise Thanks you

This view is everything!! Every review I read talked about the view and for good reason. The condo is great. Plenty of towels and anything else you could possibly need. The location is great, Its close to so many things (food, beaches) but far enough away from crowds to be peaceful. Having a washer/ dryer in the unit was a game changer. Bob left a notebook in the condo filled with a ton of helpful information about fun stuff to do and good food and happy hour deals. We ate out a lot (try Huggos!!) but also cooked on the grills downstairs. It was the cleanest grill I have ever cooked on! The maintenance crew cleans them every single day. The complex is really nice. We didnt use the pool, but it was pretty and well maintained. The lobby area is really pretty too. Every person we encountered there was pleasant. Its walking distance to the Marketplace which was fun to visit. We were there 7 day and they flew by. Even my daughter (who doesn't sleep well in unfamiliar places, slept like an angel. There is plenty fo space for a family of 4 in the condo and on the lanai. Overall, We loved everything about our stay. We would LOVE to stay again if we ever come back to beautiful Kona.

We enjoyed the central location and amazing waterfront view. We spent a lot of time out on the deck and made a point not to miss a gorgeous sunset. It also was fun watching the surfers. Parking is easy, and we had all that we needed in the kitchen to cook meals --there's even a rice cooker. The good washer/dryer were also a big perk. We also took advantage of the grocery bags, beach towels, chairs, wagon, and cooler. The only reason we're giving this nice condo 4 stars is that the streetside bedroom with the 2 twin beds got a little noisy at night (loud cars and motorcycles) and the bedroom door doesn't fully close (it hits the corner of a bed).
