Lodging was fantastic! Great view of Magic Sands beach from the large balcony. Just walk across the street for beautiful sunsets and dining at Magic grill. Extremely well equipped spacious 2 bed 2 bath unit. Location was perfect- short distance to downtown Kona area with shops and dining plus less than 2 miles to amazing snorkeling The host was great too very communicative and seemed personable Highly recommend… but with one small caveat there is an elevator but you still need to take a half flight of stairs since the building is angled, thus this would not be suitable for those who can’t do any stairs

This condo is exceptionally well equipped. It has absolutely everything you could need for a more than comfortable stay! Just pack your clothes, and grab some groceries when you arrive.
Super spacious, and although there were only two of us on our trip, two couples or a family would not feel crowded in this place. The views of the ocean are fantastic from the huge lanai. And right across the street from Magic Sands Beach.
The directions into the condo & signage were not super clear, so be sure to take the 2nd entrance (South) and go to the last building on the left (Keauhou). Parking stalls are numbered accordingly.
Something to be aware of, this condo is on the 3rd floor and there are no elevators. Although this was a non-issue for us, it could be for those with mobility issues.
The only negative thing I could say about this unit were that the AC was really noisy. Thankfully we ended up just using the ceiling fans, which made it perfectly comfortable without having to turn the AC on.
The condo owner was great at communicating & self check-in made it a breeze for our late night arrival. We would absolutely stay here again.

The communication with the host was outstanding. The condo was clean and well stocked , with clean sheets , blankets & pillows . The pool was relaxing and the pickle ball court was amazing. The condo has everything you need for the beach . Will be going back again real soon . I highly recommend this place .

This is a beautiful property has great views of the lower units and you can see the ocean. The lanai was huge and we enjoyed sitting outdoors listening to the ocean or the birds. We didn’t have any noise from other units close to ours. Because we had our windows open when we were there we could hear some traffic but nothing to disturb our quiet. The unit itself was furnished nicely and we enjoyed the spacious rooms and space itself! It’s so very nice to have access to the washer and dryer in the unit and drying racks outside on the lanai for hanging laundry or beach towels! People were friendly and the grounds were immaculate. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here - plus there is once covered parking space for you. The only drawback is that the unit is 37 steps each way -up and down. There is an elevator in the middle of the building but you would still have steps. We grew to be able to go up and down without being out of breath midway! Something that is helpful if that could be an issue for you. So please don’t hesitate and say yes to the condo today!! You will be glad you did.

The place itself stood out. Everything extremely well done, right down to the organized silverware drawer! Everything one could possibly need is there.But the location must be one of the very best on the island, right across from Magic Beach. So fun to watch the surfers, volleyballers, snorkelers, fishermen, etc. And the sunsets!The only problem was with the dining room sliding door to the balcony. It locked itself one night while we were on the balcony with no cell phones. Fortunately, we had left the bedroom door unlocked so were able to get in.We would definitely go back to this beautiful condo.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo and would absolutely return. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, and check-in and check-out were very easy.The condo was very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The A/C worked wonderfully (a huge plus in Kona), and the linens and towels were high quality. Having a washer/dryer with detergent provided was incredibly convenient during our stay.The location was perfect for exploring the Big Island. Magic Sands Beach is just across the street, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean anytime. The condo is situated just far enough from downtown Kailua-Kona to avoid the main traffic, yet it was an easy drive to restaurants, shops, and activities. It truly felt like the perfect home base for our Big Island adventures.We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities like beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella—it made our beach days effortless. The views from the lanai were beautiful, and sitting out there each morning enjoying Kona coffee was a highlight of our trip. Parking was convenient and hassle-free as well.Highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Kona!

Joshua was very welcoming! He was super on communication! His unit was a perfect location for accessing beaches, points of interest, dining, and tours. The unit itself had everything needed for a stress-free stay. From lots of towels and beach towels, to binoculars, to paper products, to cooler bags, to beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach toys, this unit had it all! There was even a welcoming box of chocolate macadamia nuts and a bag of Kona coffee. Joshua was a super host and if future travels bring us back to the Big Island, we would definitely stay here again. The assigned parking spot was an added bonus!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful condo. It is attractively and comfortably furnished, and it included absolutely everything we needed, and much more. The location was perfect - right across the street from Magic Sands Beach. We had a lovely view from the lanai. The onsite amenities were great too, including pool, tennis courts, sauna, pool table, and grill kitchen. We really appreciated that the owner sent very clear information in advance, so we felt fully prepared for our stay. It was hard to leave after having such a nice time. We would gladly stay here again in the future.

Good: Very clean, nice layout & lots of deck. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were a little soft but were still comfy. Location was great, close to everything!Not so good: House has a funny layout. We had the top floor which was fine but the walls didn't go all the way to the ceiling. So when someone got up in the middle of the nite to use the bathroom, turns on the light & it shone into the bedrooms.

This condo is dark & uncomfortable. It is managed by Coldwell Banker Island Vacations, who didn't respond to my concerns until our last day there. We left early because we slept so poorly on the foam pad they offered as a mattress in the master bedroom. The shower in the master bath was a joke. You can't open the shades in either bedroom because they look right out on the hall where neighbors are walking by. The living and dining room furniture is not at all comfortable, so our family wasn't able to enjoy time in the evenings together. The condo association has 20 pages of rules. You have to sign up to use the barbeque grill, & only one of the three was operational. The chlorine smell from the pool was so strong we never attempted to enter it. The only reason I gave this two stars instead of one is because it has a good location across the road from magic sands beach, and things were in working order.

This condo was more than expected. You fall in love with the comfort of this well taken care of and appointed condo the second you walk in. The location and area are perfect to walk across to the beautiful Magic Sand beach, you forget yo bring something down to the beach, no problem it’s a 1 minute walk back to the condo. The building is well built and very soundproof, we never heard anything from all sides, top to bottom. The owners were great to deal with and quick to respond. We will put this on our favourite list and come back for sure.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at White Sands. The condo was very well appointed with everything we needed. We like to eat in so having a well equipped kitchen was a bonus. Beds were comfortable, ceiling fans in each room. The weather was perfect to keep the sliders opened each night to listen to the sounds of the ocean across the street. All our meals were on the balcony.The bonus of a great washer and dryer meant all clean clothes. It's impossible to describe how beautiful the sunsets were each night. Great communication with this host. Very easy check-in process with a keyless entry - this was good for us as we arrived at 10 at night. Super location within an easy walk to the Magic Sands Beach and just a little south of downtown Kona which is nice to get away from the crowds. The lanai faces a pretty area of vegetation with lots of birds and a you can see a small sliver of ocean, which was a bonus as we weren't expecting any ocean view. Lots of beach gear on the lanai, thick beach towels in the condo, even some sunscreen available. They have ice bricks in the freezer and a water filter pitcher in the fridge. Everything was spotless and clean and in excellent condition. The beds were super comfortable with lots of pillows, plenty of towels in the bathrooms, and a brand new washer & dryer. This property is very well cared for and loved - and it shows. We appreciated all the little touches and extras - of the 7 properties we stayed at during our trip, this one was our favorite. :-) I have absolutely nothing negative to say!

Everything was great! The directions to the condo, inside the complex weren't completely clear, but after about 5 minutes of driving, we found our parking space and our condo. Our host was easily reached for questions and was informative and friendly. The condo is in a perfect location: close to beaces and many restaurants. The condo was perfectly stocked, clean and comfy. We loved the balcony which we used every morning for breakfast and every evening to relax. The view: one way was the ocean and the other direction were the mountains. We didn't use the beautiful pool or BBQ area, but both were great clean spaces.We were traveling with 4 adults and we used the provided boogie boards, snorkling gear, noodles and beach mats. It was a great 4 night stay!

Great views from the top floor space! 10 min walk to magic sands beach the pool looked nice but we didn’t try it out (too chilly for us in January). Only complaint was that the afternoon sun made it HOT in the evenings with no shades in the massive windows. Word of caution, the room walls don’t go to the ceiling so it can be loud, and at night any light on will keep the whole place lit up. Overall it was a great place to spend a few days on the Kona side.

This house is fun and in a great location with a local islander vibe. Fantastic view from the third story lanai and beautiful cooling ocean breezes whisping through this uniquely designed cutie ( of course when you open the wall of doors). We lacked for nothing onsite. Everthing was easy and in good shape. We particularly appreciated that usable, unopened food could be left for the local food bank. Nice touch! Communication was also lightning fast. Aloha!

The place is very well organized with dishes and everything you need. The location is great and the view from the balcony is breathtaking! A couple of things to note are that there's no AC in the unit and the fans are just not enough, the mattresses are sinking, and the walls don't get all the way to the ceiling which means that every time someone turns on the light somewhere, even in the hallway outside your unit, you have light where you sleep. The bathroom main door didn't have a lock. We also found unusual the owner's request to strip the linen and start a load of washing machine as part of the checkout procedure, especially in light of the cleaning fees which were already included in the price. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The location is fabulous, the unit is comfortable, host was responsive. Would have been a 5-star experience if there weren’t the minor annoyances with broken items in the unit (coffee maker, dryer, beach items, etc). I’d rate this an 4.8 and a little upgrading of those little things would go a long way. The unit was otherwise well-equipped, clean, close to town, and being right there at the beach was amazing! Soaked in the hot tub every evening, snorkeled at the beach, and we were visited by a flock of parrots every morning. Overall an enjoyable stay and a great find.

This rental was amazing - fantastic access to the beach, a nice pool and barbeque area, and a well equipped condo with an awesome lanai with pool and beach views. Everything was in great working order and clean in the apartment. Having a Chromecast and Google speaker was a great touch! There were lots of great condition beach items that we enjoyed (boogie boards, beach chairs, etc). The location was also great, with quick access to town and great snorkeling. A perfect stay for a family with tweens.
