White Sands Village is in a great location with an amazing sunset beach literally across the street. We enjoyed coming “home” after full days of exploring this beautiful island. The condo is well stocked with essentials. The wrap around patio is so peaceful in the mornings and late evenings. I would recommend this condo for anyone wanting to stay off site of a resort and wanting a feel of “home”. Thank you Karen for the great communication before and during our stay.

There was a lot an ants in the apartment specially on countertop.
On VRBO site, we can see tennis court in front of balcony and we thought playing but there was no court.
Some furnitures (carpet in the bathdroom, cauch) didn't look clean when looked at.
Nevertheless it was a beautiful and large condo with a great location.

This condo is located right in front of the beach, and that was extremely convenient. The condo is super spacious with a huge balcony. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need from the morning coffee to cook whatever you need. The complex also have a very nice pool area with grills and seating area. We definitely loved this place

This condo has everything you need for your vacation getaway - comfortable beds, a beautiful wrap around lanai, and a fully equipped kitchen. It's located right across the road from the beach and close to restaurants and shops.

Like some previous reviewers have said the condo was clean and bright. We really liked the close proximity to the beach and walked over there quite a few times. There was an issue with the washing machine but the owner got it fixed in a timely manner and kept me updated. The beds were comfortable. We also liked how the condo had beach chairs and umbrellas which we used almost every day at the beach. I think the only complaint is there wasn't a small vacuum in the condo so we could vacuum up some of the sand. Other than that the place was nice! Great place to stay!

The condo is exactly as described and communication with the host was excellent. We enjoyed snorkeling at Magic Sands Beach as the surf was calm during our stay. We rented a car, but there is a free trolley that stops near the condo building and goes into Kona every hour. There is also a bike share stand close by to rent a bike. The pool/hot tub and barbeque area are well kept and pleasant.

Owner was quick to communicate. Location was wonderful. It was a good base to see the rest of the island and the sunsets at Magic Sands Beach across the street were stunning. Beds were comfortable. Fridge made great ice. The huge corner lanai was fantastic! We loved the pool, hot tub, bathroom facilities! Bathrooms were adequate. The washer/dryer was awesome to have. Slider doors could use some love, they were hard to open. We did have ants in the kitchen, which is pretty normal in Hawaii. It helped when we cleaned up quickly, kept things in the fridge and used bug spray we found at the condo. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Kona. Thank you for sharing your condo with us! 🌞

Location, location, location. This property was exactly as described. Lots of room for 4 adults who like their space, plenty of water/sports equipment, beautiful lanai to watch the golfers and enjoy the scenery. Great communication, rapid responses. Would highly recommend!

White Sands Village is in a great location. Magic Sands beach is right across the street. It has all the indoor amenities that you would need. Karen, the owner, is very friendly, easy to get a hold of and work with. The unit has a wrap around lanai. One side of the lanai has tall foliage which adds to the privacy of the unit. It is great to hear song birds each morning on the lanai having your coffee. Outside amenities include 3 BBQ grills, outside pool, hot tub and sauna.

We loved our stay! The condo was perfect. Super easy check in having the key in a lock box. Clean and well furnished suit. Us and 10 other family members stayed at white sands village. The common area with pool and bbqs made it easy to have meals and get together with family staying in other suits. The beach across the street was so beautiful! Would recommend staying here!!

The wrap around lanai was incredible! It felt private since it wasn’t right over the pool. Had all the beach toys & chairs, towels. The beach right across the street was easy to walk to and beautiful! Definitely recommend going to the restaurant right there too for sunset one night - magic sands grill. Delicious & great service. Would absolutely stay here again!!!

Asked for a late checkout when we nade the original reservations and was approved. Got a message a couple days before our arrival that they "forgot" and we had to check out at 11 with our flight at 5 pm. Lost an entire day at the beach because of this mistake. This unit was not as clean as we're used to. Freezer went out, air conditioning issues, TV issues. We cleaned the unit, did laundry and hoped we'd be compensated a small amount due to issues we Incurred. Won't ask to rent this unit again in the future and we visit Kona every year for a minimum of 30 days.

I can not rave enough about our stay, the location, or the hosts!
The place was very clean and had everything we could need for our two-week stay including beach toys and coolers. The in-suite laundry was very convenient. The beds we comfortable. The patio is giant and a great place to enjoy a morning coffee. The only thing that I would like next time (and we will be back!) is a small stick vacuum. There was a broom available but sand inevitably gets tracked in and the broom didn't get it all.
The pool was wonderful and we spent many evenings grilling our dinner while the kids swam.
Speaking of swimming, the best part that I think was WAY under-advertised is Magic Sands Beach. It is literally across the street and became one of our favorite beaches. Great waves for boogie boarding, crystal clear, warm water, and we saw sea turtles every day we were there!
The property is close enough to the main strip to be convenient without being loud. The condo itself was very quiet. We never heard from our neighbors, but all the ones we met at the pool were very friendly.
The owner was great to deal with right from the beginning. They even gave us an amazing deal when our flights got rescheduled to a later departure. I messaged asking about a late check-out and they let us stay as late as we needed at no charge. It allowed us to enjoy our last day knowing we could get in a quick shower before our flight.
If you are looking for a place to stay, this is your spot!!

What a great location! Right across from White Sands Beach. The waves were big when we were there, so take at your own risk. We are all avid swimmers and ocean goers. Also, close by to other easy beaches and snorkel spots. The pool is amazing and condo is perfect for a family. Nice fully stocked kitchen. Even found a crockpot. We cook the entire time we are on the Island so was easily able to use the clean kitchen. Thank you for sharing your abode!

This condo is perfect for a family vacation. A very large lanai with lots of comfy furniture. The inside is clean and spacious. I’ve rented numerous Vrbo’s and this is the best appointed unit I have ever rented. Lots of condiments, supplies, dishes, pots and pans. The pool is great but note not for use by babies. Not an issue for us but was mentioned by others at the pool. Magic Sands beach was just across the street. It’s a nice beach but very strong current. Great for sunset watches. There is a great snorkel beach a very short walk away. Highly recommend this rental.

Could not have asked for a better location and place to stay. The condo is across the street from a great swimming and snorkeling beach. There is a wonderful restaurant across the street. The condo is clean, beds super comfortable and anything you need is right there. The washer/dryer were a plus. The fans kept everything cool indoors and out. The only thing that would have made it even better would be to have the name of the condo listed in the directions. We arrived at night and it was dark and very hard to find with just the address. Would stay again and highly recommend!

It was great to be back in Paradise after missing a year due to Covid. The location is great, close to Kona, snorkel beaches, etc. Property has all the amenities that you may need. Looking forward to next year already.

This place was in the perfect spot for the four of us to have a relaxing vacation without scheduling. Wanted to go to the beach? Right across the street. Wanted to go snorkeling? Walk 1.5 mi away to some of the best snorkeling on the island. Looking for a little shopping? Catch the bus or trolley right outside the door to Kona. Wanted to cool off but didn't want to go anywhere? Head to the pool on the property. Just wanted to hang out? Lovely space with plenty of room for four people to go to their own spaces and do their own thing.

There were a lot of little maintenance issues tho

Sliding doors were difficult to open because of sand/dirt in runners

The shower heads were awful. Main bathroom the shower head would move erratically and flood floor

Our stay at this condo was excellent. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates/utensils/cups/appliances etc. Condo was clean and very comfortable. They even had lots of beach stuff so that we did not have to rent additionally. Location is great, about 10 minutes from downtown Kona (without traffic). Air conditioning made the place very comfortable. Huge balcony as well. Would definitely stay here again!
