The condo was great -- super cleaned and well stocked. We have stayed at this complex several times, and this was one of the more updated units we've stayed in, which was really great. The kitchen and baths are nicely updated, and like all the units has a great deck. Note that this unit is near the back of White Sands Village so it's a little stroll down to the beach but that's no big deal, and as in the pictures you can see the water from the deck (which is a great place to take in Hawaiian sunsets and sunrises). The unit also has central A/C, which not all in WSV do, controlled by a nest thermostat which will allow you to turn it down to 75. Easy keypad checkin and quick communication with owner by text. Great stay and would be happy to come back!

We so enjoyed our stay in White Sands. The condo was comfortable and had every amenity possible. The location is perfect for going all directions on the island. We would highly recommend this property to any family wanting relaxation with good access to the beach, snorkeling and restaurants.

Dawneeta and Blair went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable. Our son broke his ankle the night before we left, they got crutches for us, so they would be there for him on arrival. The condo was very comfortable for me as an Ironman competitor. My kids loved the location with the beach across the road. We would definitely stay again. Thank you, Kate C.

Due to the fires in Maui, we needed to make a last minute change to spend a week on the big island. We couldn’t have asked for more with our accommodations.
Walking distance to one of the best beaches on the island, and having beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, etc) was a nice bonus. We also enjoyed the pool, covered parking and everything the condo complex had to offer.
The condo was spacious, clean and comfortable for my family of four. We dined on the lanai just about every night, it was a perfect way to end our day watching the sunset.
Great communication throughout with the owners. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay on the big island.

We had a fabulous vacation due in large part to our accommodations. The property is as described and more. Clean is an understatement. The property is well kept and very clean. Beds & pillows were fantastic and allowed for a good night sleep after a full day of fun. It was quiet even though it is located right across the street from one of the most popular beaches. We were so impressed with the extras provided… beach towels & toys, kitchen supplies, paper products, a printer which we actually needed this trip. There were even things included you wouldn’t expect like sun tan lotion, spices, and condiments. The location was ideal and there was never a concern about safety. Covered parking kept our vehicle cool and secure. The pool and barbecue area was clean and relaxing. Most impressive was the communication with Dawneeta. She responded immediately to any questions we had about the property - from accessing the pool to working the television. Having written all of this I will say that the 5 star rating is insufficient and I would give it a 5 plus!

First off, if I’m ever in the area again, I would look for this property/host again. Hosts were great and very responsive on any questions we had. The unit is great and in a perfect spot for exploring the Big Island. And the owners have stocked it full of all the things you might need to enjoy your time there. Driving around the island and need a cooler? Check. Want to try out snorkeling or sit on the nearby beach in walking distance? Everything is already there! Forgot a fan and can’t sleep at night without one? Check the closets, because there’s one in each room. The price is right, the location is right, and it has everything you want. Thank you so much to the owners for helping to make our first trip to Hawaii unforgettable!

Blair & Dawneeta’s place was awesome! It is beautifully decorated and a great homey feel. It had every thing we needed for our stay. Tons of equipment for the beach. AC, TV, and other amenities for staying in. Beds and other furniture we’re super comfortable, and we really enjoyed lounging on the lanai.

Very comfortable beds (my wife thanks you for the 2 step ladder so she could get into it)
The pantry is awesome. We rented 3 condos in Maui, and 3 in Kona, and got salt & pepper only in most of them.
Plenty of pots, pans, dishes etc. Great washer & dryer.
The chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, snorkel gear, & coolers - outstanding.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was the best stocked VRBO we have seen - they have everything you need. Good location near all of our planned activities. Nice beach very close. Nice pool. Good view from the lanai and listening to the birds in the morning was wonderful. Great communication with manager. Condo as advertised. Two King beds that were comfortable. Would stay again!

Pleasant layout and ocean view from the balcony. We really enjoyed having this as our ‘home base’ while exploring the Big Island! Being across the street from Magic Sands Beach was perfect. The condo was clean and we enjoyed having the kitchen when not dining out. We recommend!

We had a wonderful holiday for a month at Dawneeta and Blair's Whitesands condo. White Sands Beach, which is a short walk away, was not only beautiful but had some of the best sand of any beach which we visited. We appreciated the privacy of the large lanai which was shielded by tall trees and plants plus we enjoyed the many birds that frequented the trees. The oceanwas clearly visible via a sideview and sufficient to get a sense of the sunsets on the few days when we weren't actually sitting at the beach watching the sunset. The condo is also close to many other amenities via a vehicle or the Kona trolley. The unit had a very well supplied kitchen and a great array of beach equipment which we appreciated. Dawneeta responded almost immediately whenever we had any questions, which I'd like to think were few. Excellent hosts make the stay that much more comfortable - Mahalo

Can't say enough about the condo and the hosts!
Possibly the best appointed rental we have ever stayed at. Blair and Dawneeta have supplied everything you expect at a rental and MORE:
- Very well supplied kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses you may need.
- Cable TV with Netflix, Prime Video, etc.
- Incredible balcony with a view of the ocean. We would sit out there at sunset with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. As the sun sets, the air is filled with a cacophony of bird sounds...that continues until the sun disappears and then they go quiet. Sooo cool!
- AC works great and there are several well placed ceiling fans that keep you cool.
- The entire condo is clean, comfortable, and great for lounging when you're done with the sand and water.
- Condo is very well located. It is the last of three buildings on the property so it is far enough from the road to be quiet...but close enough to be able to walk to the "Magic Sands" beach.
- Hosts are incredibly communicative and responsive to requests. We needed to have a faucet handle tightened so it wouldn't fall off and they had a handyman at the condo in about 15 minutes.
- Condo is on 2nd floor but there is an elevator that takes you most of the way there. You do have to climb 10 steps after the elevator.
- Property has a pool and hot tub. They are very well maintained.
- The hosts have a Toyota Highlander that they offer to people staying at their condo at a price well below the rental agencies. It is clean, comfortable and runs great.
We totally recommend this condo. This was our fourth stay on the big island and this is clearly the best condo we've stayed in. We will be coming back!

We loved our stay here! The location was fabulous! It’s close to so many stores and restaurants and right across from the beach. We had all the amenities you need for cooking, beach days or a relaxing evening indoors. It was very clean, fresh smelling and had items available to help you keep it that way like a broom/dustpan, glass cleaner and Comet. We’ll definitely be booking again when we return to Kona! In addition, our host was wonderful and very quick to respond!

Wonderful condo for my wife and 2 kids. Lots of space, great kitchen, fast internet, quite location but close to all Kona areas. Hosts were very friendly and accessible. They had lots of snorkel gear, beach chairs, slipper, volleball etc outside in balacony for us to use. The other condo neighbors were very friendly. If we find ourselves in Kona again, this will be our go to.

The description of the property was very accurate. I enjoyed the fact that the condo was located directly across from the beach and the owners provided all the beach equipment that I needed. There was a small hiccup during check in. The code to enter was not programmed so I had to contact the owners. Communication with the owners was easy and they immediately responded and corrected the issue. The condo was filled with all the household items to make you feel at home. I would definitely recommend this property.

Not too convenient, specially if you have heavy luggage and someone with disability ...as you need to take few more steps after the elevator.
There are many amenities that you feel like you are home, except a Toaster oven.
Overall..it is a Nice place to stay.

We absolutely loved our time in this condo (2 bed, 2 bath floorplan worked well for me & my husband as well as our undergraduate research student co-presenting on the Big Island at a conference)! Morning coffee on the lanai, late afternoon on the white sand beach across from the complex, and a fully equipped kitchen for a spouse who loves to cook were only a few of our positive memories of this stay on the Big Island. Location, near Kailua-Kona, was also a positive as we had easy access to the downtown area, including the Kona farmer's market, in addition to easy navigation to other island features (green sand beach, black sand beach, National Volcano Park, Waterfalls near Hilo, etc.). We also appreciated the washer/dryer in the condo as we've stayed at condos on various HI islands in which there were "community-access" equipment only. If you're looking for a clean, peaceful, reasonably-priced condo on the Big Island, this could be it!

Location! Location! This property is right across the street from Magic Sands Beach. It is well apportioned with everything you might need to dine in, enjoy takeout or walk across the street for an amazing sunset happy hour and delicious meal. This condo is just as nice as the pictures and had everything needed for a day at the beach. We will definitely return next year. What a wonderful time; it was so hard to leave. If you're traveling to Hawaii, do not miss this gem. The owners have provided an immaculately clean and fully appointed condo that certainly met our every need. Less that a 2 minute walk to White Sands (Magic Sands) Beach, it's the perfect location. We could not have been more pleased with this truly fantastic retreat.

Excellent location. Easy to deal with the owner and was great to work with to get a great deal and late check out. Very spacious and nice to have 2 bathrooms. Only complaint(s) would be the cleanliness of the unit. And even with being charged for cleaning, being told if there was more than 2 loads of laundry we would be charged accordingly. Doesn’t feel like a vacation having to worry about these details.
