This was probably the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. The location was perfect in Kona right across the street from the beach with a view of the waves from the lanai. It was very clean and stocked with absolutely everything we needed. All the kitchen and bathroom basics were there, but also beach gear such as chairs, cooler, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear. It was so great to have all of that at our fingertips as we headed out to explore the island. My only suggestion would be to add a beach umbrella as there is no shade at any of the beaches. Having the ability to do laundry was great, as well as the central air. The wraparound lanai was amazing and there were plenty of comfy chairs for lounging and looking at the view.

This condo has light colors throughout the living and kitchen area with light flooding in from slider doors covering most of two sides of the living / dining area walls.The expansive covered lanai surrounds the living area and primary bedroom with the front facing ocean view across the street or landscaping to the side. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and the entire condo was very clean. The air conditioning served the entire condo. The owner responded to my question on wifi within minutes. The description points out this unit isn’t ADA equipped so not for those needing higher toilets or grab bars. The primary bath shower is low entry and large and the steep stairs by the unit can be avoided by using the elevator and outdoor carpeted walkway but does involve 10 steps with sturdy hand rails. The entire condo buildings and grounds are very well maintained with the pool area surrounded by lush landscaping, The location provides easy access to the main highway and the Keauhou Shopping Center with a KTA grocery store and restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would stay again!

We loved our stay here. It's right across the street from the Magic Sands Beach, which is among the best beaches for body surfing and boogie boarding in all of Hawaii. It's convenient to both points north and south. The street and beach can both be a little noisy; we didn't mind it during the day, but we closed the sliding doors when we went to bed.
The properly is on the first floor and very private; since it's in the front of the building there is no foot traffic past the door or the second bedroom.
The property was extremely clean, and very, very well stocked. We had all the cooking supplies we need (bring your own food though!) along with anything we might need to take to the beach, including chairs and boogie boards. There was snorkeling equipment but we rented our own for fit. Plenty of towels.
The Lanai is nearly the full length of two walls, wrapping around the living room with access to the master bedroom. The beds were comfortable. Laundry in the master bathroom, and a dishwasher.
Our only complaint was that the appliances and some of the furniture were a bit dated; both he laundry and dishwasher were older and pretty loud. The couch was pretty uncomfortable.
These were very, very minor annoyances, and well worth it for the amazing location.

Loved the condo, great location right across from the best beach on the island. Kids loved it too, lots of free movies for nighttime and kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a nice dinner. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing spot! I looked at so many different VRBO listings and this one stuck out because of the beach across the street and the huge lanai. Well the other reviews were spot on - sitting on the lanai and watching the turtles swim in the beautiful water across the street was a highlight of our trip. The location is very central to everything in Kona and the layout of the apartment is great. We were two adults and two teens so it was the perfect amount of space for us. The kitchen is well appointed and everything was just great. I would not hesitate to stay here again and really hope we get the chance to!

This was a terrific property that was directly across the street from the beach. We loved being able to watch the sunset from our Lanai each evening. The condo was extremely well stocked with whatever beach equipment and kitchen stuff you could possibly want. And we GREATLY appreciated the host's flexibility with being willing to provide late checkout. Made for a much more relaxing day with our late flight out.

This place was perfect for our family of 4. The large living area and huge lanai made it feel extremely spacious. The beach across had waves that were a little too but for our 4 year old but the host was awesome and told us ahead of time so we were prepared. We didn’t use that beach very much because of it but it didn’t create an amazing view and some great people watching :)
The location was awesome and we had easy access to restaurants and shops. Would 100% recommend this place. It was clean, easy to get to and absolutely gorgeous. 10/10!!

The condominium was just as expected. Beautiful views and great location. Place was very clean and comfortable. The only reason for 3 stars on check in process was due to VRBO. VRBO did not communicate well, via emails and calls to notify us of problems. Property owner was fantastic during this ordeal. The cleaning staff also needs to be acknowledged, she was fantastic.
We highly recommend this property for your Hawaiian vacation.

Beautiful Condo. Spacious inside and out. We have stayed across the street at Magic Sands many times and loved the lanai next to the beach. This condo beats it by far!! Great view, beautifully decorated. Can't think of anything we didn't love about this place. Thanks so much for sharing with us. We will be back!

We came to the island to witness our son marry his college sweetheart, we were welcomed with the most beautiful sunsets off of the lanai’s. The condo was clean, well stocked with linens and very spacious. We had 3 adults and it was plenty big. We appreciated the pool and bbq area. Very friendly guests welcomed us to join them. The beach access was just steps away from the condo. We used the kitchen daily to prepare meals, it was stocked with all of the cooking utensils you would need to cook and serve your guests. We appreciated the outdoor travel cooler and beach gear. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return. Our hosts replied quickly to any and all questions I may have had. I highly recommend this rental.

The view and walk to the beach from this condo was unbelievable. We did not cook, but the kitchen seemed to be well equipped. The restaurant on the beach was amazing. Having 2 separate bathrooms was great as well as having a laundry machine. I would definitely stay here again and again!

We loved our stay at James and Tori’s property and would hopefully be able to come visit again soon. There was some miscommunication in regards to the key code given, but they answered quickly and we were able to get situated. Thank you for your wonderful communication! We only have one suggestion for improvement as there was some hair and tissue in the shower when we got there. We had a wonderful time and sure enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night and the quick access to the beach, since we had an infant staying with us.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The Condo is across from White Sands Beach and we enjoyed sitting on the very large lanai while watching the boogie boarders surf the waves. It is a great location as Hilo, Volcanoes, Mauna Kea, and Waipio Valley are all within reach. There is great snorkeling to the left of the beach, and scuba lessons there, as well. The condo is very well equipped with everything we needed from the kitchen, to the books and movies in the office, and the noodles, boogie boards, and cooler on the lanai. We had a couple of questions for the owners, and Tori was easy to reach, and a pleasure to talk to. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This condo has the best view of the Kona coast and Magic Sands Beach! The huge lanai wraps all the way around the condo. We had our coffee and breakfast out there. It was beautiful. Owners communicated well and we loved the condo and the property.

This is our third stay in James and Tori’s condo and they are so easy to interact with. They feel like friends. Amazing access to white sands beach and lots of beach toys. Watching the action on the beach having coffee on the lanai was great. Thanks James and Tori.

The place was absolutely amazing!!!! Location was perfect, you couldn’t ask for anything better. Deck was huge and seeing the beach was awesome. My teenager and 10 year old would go over and we could see them the whole time from the deck. Super close to the shops and restaurants, there are the bike share rentals next store, husband and son used them to meet us in town. They had boogie boards, snorkeling gear, chairs and umbrellas to use. Even had shampoo and conditioner, feminine products, everything you need. Was soooo nice to stay there. Highly highly recommend this place!
