The condo was nicely updated with new kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was very clean, kitchen well appointed with everything we needed. Beds were beyond comfortable!! Beach chairs, cooler, water bottles were nice to have. Extra bottles of shampoo, conditioner, aloe vera, lotion, face wash under bathroom vanities. The whole complex is pretty quiet and chill and it was nice the assigned parking space was right by the unit. The pool is small but has plenty of chairs and was a nice clean space to use. Couple things to note: 1) second bedroom wall to the living space is not solid, it's sort of like shutters for air flow so it's not super quiet or private and 2) the unit is close to a main road and the traffic noise is fairly constant. It was hard for me to get used to it, but perhaps I am just overly sensitive to that. The windows need to be open for air flow (no AC) making the noise unavoidable. Overall it was a nice stay and great value!

The condo was nestled in a beautiful condo community with pool and minutes walk from a small boat harbor where manta ray frequent and the ocean water so clear that you can see the bottom to the sand, while may species of fish swim by. The property is on the Kona side of the island and was on a slight hill, allowing you to admire the sunset on the ocean from a short distance from the shore, while palm trees sway in the distance. The condo was clean, cute, and the patio offered an amazing view of the golf course as you look out on the ocean horizon. The property was well maintained, as well as the property grounds. The staff were attentive and kept the property very clean, and the grounds keeping was well kept. The property was filled with plumeria trees, monstera, tea leaves, and many native plants found only on Hawaii.

There was a beautiful landscape including the well groomed golf course in front of the ocean view visible from the patio of our condo. There was no a/c but the well placed ceiling fans and cool ocean breeze was all the a/c needed. We took advantage of the unique windows that allow for the cool breezes but kept out the bugs and insects. It was a bit of a drive into the town of Kona but well worth having the quiet of the area that we were at. I would definitely stay there again.

We arrived to find the condo prepared for us and as described. Being on the top floor of three it can become warm, but for us the several fans and on-shore breeze provided the cooling needed. The lanai was great and we made good use of it. The bed and seating were comfortable.However, I'll mention that one of the four chairs on the lanai was in need of repair to the seat, so hopefully that will be done in time for the next guest's arrival.The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, glasses, and the usual etc. But the utility knives are badly in need of sharpening with a tool that does more serious work than the normal hand-held sharpener that is included in the knife block.We didn't see this mentioned in earlier reviews, so we want to say "thanks" for the presence in the bathrooms of small shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer and bar soap.We enjoyed having the geckos with us, both inside and outside.Not much was needed from the CB folks, although one pre-arrival request was acted upon promptly and professionally, and upon departure had a very pleasant brief encounter with the cleaning lady.Yes, we would stay at this condo again.

The communication from the property management was very helpful. They were also very prompt to answer any questions. The condo was perfect for our needs. We attended a wedding at the nearby Outrigger resort which was a five minute walk. The condo had a spacious master bedroom with bath. The second bed was a murphy bed in the common area which had a folding wall for privacy. The condo was well equipped with a full kitchen, beach towels, chairs, and umbrella. Be aware that this condo requires the ability to climb stairs to the top floor. There is no elevator. The best part of the stay was enjoying the spectacular views from the lanai. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the most amazing time on the Big Island and part of it was due to our amazing stay here! The unit was stocked well, and we loved the coffee sample they gave us so much that we went and bought a full size bag to take home with us! The view was absolutely stunning, and my husband and I were already talking about coming back and staying again. The location was convenient to everything, but quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of town. There is no central AC but you really don’t need it with all the fans, and the ability to open the windows and let the ocean breeze in! Thank you for an incredible stay!

Great condo in a great location! We were here during the tsunami evacuation and were very glad we didn’t need to evacuate as we were just outside the evacuation zone! Definitely made this location more desirable in that situation! The view from the lanai is beautiful! There can be a little road noise at times as it is close to Alii Drive but we felt it was mostly quiet and peaceful here and we very much enjoyed our stay.

This property was perfect for our family of two adults and two teens. Everything was very well stocked, especially in the kitchen, and we appreciated that there were plenty of towels and a cooler we could take on our day trips. The pool was also fantastic. We were extremely happy with our stay!

We had a lovely stay here. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is great. The location is excellent because it’s right in the middle of Kailua and Kona. Everything is relatively close, but you still feel like you’re out of the super busy areas in a nice quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We only had to purchase one item (they had run out of dish detergent for the dishwasher).There were a couple of minor issues we encountered and Diane was very helpful and very understanding. To explain further, we lost something of theirs and were never able to find it. I offered to replace it and pay for anything they might need to fix our mistake. Diane was so understanding and told me not to worry about it. I was very grateful to have such an understanding host.The only reason I gave a 4 star on cleanliness is there were a couple of things that got missed from their cleaning staff before our arrival. I gave Diane the feedback on that and she was very receptive.If you’re considering this place to stay, I highly recommend it!

We loved every thing about this property. It has beautiful views, quiet neighborhood, and a great location. The kitchen was very well stocked, had more than we needed. Everything in the condo was clean, well organized and labeled. Loved the magnifying mirrors in each bathroom. Plenty of beach equipment, beach bags, ice chests and towels. Nothing lacking! If we come back to the big island, we would definitely stay here again.

The condo is absolutely beautiful. I spent many evenings on the lanai relaxing & watching the sunset. The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes for cooking meals. The bed is very comfortable. The bedroom has AC available. This was the perfect place for us.

The property was just as pictured and described, maybe even nicer. Very well appointed, fully stocked kitchen, beach equipment, comfortable furniture and bedding. Loved having a full size washer and dryer. The view and sunsets were beautiful. We enjoyed dining and hanging out on the lanai. The pool is on the smaller side but the water temp was great and there are plenty of loungers and chairs. Parking spot is very close to the unit and there are just a few stairs to access the unit. The way the buildings are designed provides a lot of privacy and we couldn’t hear neighbors through the walls/ceiling. The bedroom had a portable a/c unit, but we never used it. Using the ceiling fans and opening the windows kept the unit at a comfortable temperature. It’s a short drive to Kailua Kona and lots of restaurants and shops. We’d definitely recommend this unit for a couple or small family and we’d definitely stay here again.

Bottom line, the unit is an awesome vacation home away from home, with everything you’ll need and more. Five stars for the fully equipped kitchen complete with condiments and other useful items; fresh linens on the beds; 2 super clean bathrooms with hair dryers, extra towels, shampoos, and bathing soaps, extra sets of keys and the folder of information for starters. This is by far one of the best properties to stay while in Keauhou. It had everything we needed for making meals, relaxing, and watching the sunsets from the lanai. Very close to Keauhou Bay for water activities and grocery store was nearby.

The condo was clean, nice appliances and we’ll appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and sofa. The pool was beautiful and just steps away. The shopping center is a 10 minute walk and has periodic entertainment, good food, movie theater, farmer’s market, grocery, drug store, etc. A 10 minute walk in the other direction gets you to the ocean front for beautiful sunsets. April, the manager, is attentive and returns your emails promptly. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything about the accommodations, location, etc. was excellent and we would return in the future. Other guest reviews mentioned that climbing the stairs to the third floor was a bit taxing, especially carrying luggage, groceries, etc. Having our backpacks with us made it a bit easier for the latter. There's a total of 28 steps to climb. Be sure you can handle that 2 or 3 times a day. We experienced some confusion checking in after dark. As in the past our GPS software could not figure out the Hawaiian addressing format and will took us to a ficticious location. The complex is just around a sharp curve. The sign is obscured by vegetation until you are about to pass it and not well lit. We spent a lot of time wondering around in the dark trying to find it. The rental agent returned our call for help just a few minutes after we placed it. This was midnight. She walked us through finding it. That's service! The printed verbal instructions for finding the place could have been more clearly written. A street map to the driveway off Alii Drive would have helped immensely. Finally, on the VBRO website, the 3/4 view, wide angle image of the living area can be misleading. The far wall is a top-to-bottom, side-to-side mirror, which gave us the impression the space is twice as big as it really is. I can't say whether this was intentionally misleading. This image should be deleted. The living room is spacious enough for two - maybe too small for four with couch open into a bed.

We had a very nice time at Trent and Debbie’s condo. The condo was nicely appointed and comfortable. We a sticklers in particular for comfortable beds in the condos we rent and I am please to say that both the King bed and Queen Murphy bed are in good condition and comfortable . Trent was quickly attentive when we had a small issue that had to be rectified and they nicely accommodated us on our last day when we had a late flight out. The veranda had a relaxing, beautiful view out the back across the teletubby garden and golf course to the bay below! We prefer to be within walking distance to a beach so dropped location to 4 stars but the location was convenient for driving to some interesting spots within 10 to 30 minutes. The girls were able to walk to a nice pickleball/tennis club and pay for not too big a fee. All in all, the owners and the condo were very nice and I would definitely recommend it to others as long as they understood that there is no direct beach access!

Overall the property was nice and clean and well supplied. It was in a good central location as well, in a lovely and safe community. The main issue is if you’re cooking: the pans had the Teflon coating peeling off and I’ve used plastic knives that were actually better than what was provided. There were two newer pans but they were huge and not conducive to everyday cooking.

Been to Hawaii 45 times, 4 hour time change is harder to deal with! The traffic is worse than every, the 10 hour flight is not good any more! I get to Mexico in 3 hours, the noise in this condo is real bad! Cutting grass at 6 A.M. with the widows open at night because there is no air. The truck noise is getting worse every year, we've stayed here 25 years, might not be back! The price is nuts!!!!!

This property had more kitchen appliances and stuff to cook with than I do on the mainland! Every spice you can think of, multiple choices of soy sauce, vinegar and other condiments. Very quiet. Nice neighbors. Great pressure in shower. Good location for snorkeling at Kahulu'u. Note: pools are not heated.

Spacious condo with a great view. Very well equipped kitchen, great appliances and good furnishings. Nice Lanai and well equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards etx. Disappointed there was no bbq/grill as advertised and it took a long time to get a response on the fact that there wasnt one available. Was a deciding factor when we booked this property vs another.
The area is very noisey with traffic throughout the night from the main highway and people coming and going in the parking lot. With no AC and louvered windows there isn’t anything you can do to mitigate it. Bring earplugs if you are in any way a light sleeper.
The outdoor pool area is quite nice and was never too busy, but the pool isn’t heated and is quite cold. Great for hot weather.
Condo could benefit from a more frequent deep cleaning, lots of dust and debris under the furniture and carpet smells of dust. Otherwise it very nice.
Overall a decent enough stay.
