Two beautiful sunsets from the deck! Unfortunately only were able to stay 2 nights but had a great time. Great relatively quiet location with easy access to north and south Kona. The apartment is very spacious and very well furnished including a kitchen with everything you might need.

This property had more kitchen appliances and stuff to cook with than I do on the mainland! Every spice you can think of, multiple choices of soy sauce, vinegar and other condiments. Very quiet. Nice neighbors. Great pressure in shower. Good location for snorkeling at Kahulu'u. Note: pools are not heated.

Spacious condo with a great view. Very well equipped kitchen, great appliances and good furnishings. Nice Lanai and well equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards etx. Disappointed there was no bbq/grill as advertised and it took a long time to get a response on the fact that there wasnt one available. Was a deciding factor when we booked this property vs another.
The area is very noisey with traffic throughout the night from the main highway and people coming and going in the parking lot. With no AC and louvered windows there isn’t anything you can do to mitigate it. Bring earplugs if you are in any way a light sleeper.
The outdoor pool area is quite nice and was never too busy, but the pool isn’t heated and is quite cold. Great for hot weather.
Condo could benefit from a more frequent deep cleaning, lots of dust and debris under the furniture and carpet smells of dust. Otherwise it very nice.
Overall a decent enough stay.

We loved this condo for our first trip to the big island, the condo was exactly as described and very well equipped for our 8 day stay. Bonnie was a great host and very easy to communicate with, the instructions were clear and easy to follow as to where to park and how to access the condo. The lanai is spacious and we loved sititng out there in the morning. The two bathrooms were great for our family of four and we also enjoyed the beach chairs and bogie boards that were available for us to use during our stay. I would stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

It's a very short drive to many popular places around town and it's secluded and things are quiet. The place is super clean, and has two bathrooms which is really nice. The only not-perfect thing was that the entrance to the parking lot was around a blind turn, but traffic was so low there it was never an issue

This was our first stay in Hawaii. We considered staying in a resort but ended up searching VRBO for their options available during our selected dates. After narrowing our selection to a couple of choices, I spent considerable time reviewing the comments from guests. This property rated very high and the pictures sold us. Check-in was easy and enjoyed the amazing sunsets from the balcony. We liked all the furnishings and especially having a modern rice cooker! It was an easy walk to Keauhou Bay for morning paddles and short distance to the KTA grocery store. We will be back again next year!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week here and highly recommend staying here. We came for a vacation full of relaxation with little on the agenda, and this was the perfect place to hang out, mix cocktails, and cook many of our dinners at home while enjoying them on the lanai and watching the incredible sunsets. It’s also a short drive to plenty of restaurants, shopping, and sights if that’s more your thing. We also appreciated the eclectic collection of books, CDs and DVDs (when’s the last time you listened to Boyz II Men, I ask? Not recently enough, is the only right answer). The condo and grounds were all well-maintained and peaceful, and this felt like staying in a friend’s home rather than an impersonal hotel room. Two happy thumbs up!

Nice time in a fairly central location for day tripping. The flat is on the third floor and even though there are inside air conditioners the bedroom gets fairly warm. It would be nice to have some spices to do some cooking. The place was spotless and very quiet. Had a great vacation.

Well designed unit with newer Island decor—nicely furnished. Very quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently located close to sport courts (pickle Ball/Tennis) swimming pool and Golf—located on 9th fairway. Convenient parking in front of unit. This was an excellent home base for a snorkeling vacation. The two queen beds (one of them a comfortable Murphy bed) make it best for two couples.
Diane, the owner is responsive and helpful. She gave us good information about the area along with complete details for the condo. A lock box system with another keys available made access efficient.
The listing describes two distinct bedrooms. The pictures confused us on the sleeping arrangements. The “living area” is the second bedroom. (Louvered sliders and blinds block light but not sound. This accessory room isn’t a regular bedroom. It was comfortable for the person staying there. The fourth person slept on the sofa which was comfortable as well. She didn’t open it as a sofa bed.)
The condo cools beautifully. Ceiling fans, good window screens, and screen doors provide efficient cross ventilating air flow. Wonderful.
Especially good for snorklers, divers, and swimmers. Lots of hangers, a hook system on the patio, and a drying rack made it easy to dry swim suits, etc. The patio closet held very useful snorkeling gear. We borrowed fins and a mask that fit; we didn’t have to rent extra gear.
The kitchen was also well equipped. Bountiful towels, linens, toilet paper, paper towels and more — the condo was very well stocked.
The lush garden obscures the view of the ocean but we knew it was there. A lovely lime tree provided fresh juice for the papayas from the market.
We had a fabulous vacation.

This place is about 5-10 mins from downtown Kona. It is very convenient to get grocery, etc. from Costco, Walmart, supermarket, etc. Few cruises near by, 5 mins waking. My kids went to Outrigger to watch Manta Ray in the evening. Floor was little sticky when we arrived. We had Tiny bugs (fruit flies?). We were not sure where they came from. Electric kettle was rusted on the bottom and need to be replaced.
Otherwise, this is a wonderful place to stay in Kona.

Great condo. Clean, quiet and the beds were comfy. The on-site manage is great. We only stayed for 4 short days. The kitchen could use some kitchen towels as we were drying the pots/pans with paper towels and a small cooler and umbrella for the beach would be great too. If our stay was longer we definitely would have bought some and left them here. Great place to stay.

The view from the patio is beautiful, the bed is very comfortable, and the condo is clean; these aspects are five stars, and I would rent this property again if there were only two of us to stay in the master bedroom. There are a few issues that make this a four-star property for us. The first and most important is the air conditioning; there is only one portable air conditioner and it’s in the bedroom, so if people need to sleep in the living room area, they must sleep on the Murphy bed or pull-out couch with access to a ceiling fan only; those who say that it cools off at night must not mind being hot at night. Second, is the timer on the air conditioner; the a/c does work well in the bedroom, but it has a four-hour timer, so in the middle of the night we woke up hot and had to reset the timer and then try to go back to sleep. We understand the cost of energy is high in Hawaii, but limiting the renter’s comfort affects enjoyment and this is the main reason for the four-star rating. Again, this property has many great qualities, such as lots of amenities in the condo, being close to the airport, a street fair within walking distance, a nice swimming pool, friendly neighbors, easy parking, and responsive hosts.
