The condo was exceptional. Clean, well stocked and great location. The only problem was the noise from the busy street in back. If the condo was closer to the ocean, the noise would have been less intrusive. Great complex, pool was great, grounds were beautiful. It was just the noise. Would stay at this complex again but not in this particular condo. Unfortunately would recommend another one away from the road.

This property was amazing to stay at! The property managers were great at requests - helpful and kind about it. The townhouse itself was great. We Alaskans really appreciated the air conditioning in many of the rooms. There were 6 of us staying there and we were quite comfortable. We also enjoyed that it was close to the pool.

We loved this property. It was very spacious and had plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone. The beds were comfortable also and there were lots of great amenities on the property. The kids loved the pool and we also loved walking down to the ocean in the evenings to watch the sunset. The staff were also very friendly and attentive and checked in on us regularly throughout our stay. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Everything seemed great as far as instructions for arrival, the space and location and amenities. Unfortunately, the only thing that got me was the amount of cockroaches, and red ants inside of the of the property. We made sure everything was clean and picked up but they still were on the counter tops and in all the rooms. The only other complaint would be not realizing there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms before using it after a six hour plain ride!

This place was a great place to stay with my family. It was clean, beds were comfortable, and it was mostly quiet. The traffic on Ali'i was loud at times but never disturbed our sleep. No A/C and no elevator to get to up stairs - 3rd floor unit. All in all I'd stay here again.

Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and the accomodation was perfect for our needs.The unit was clean and the resort had everything we needed. The property manager was very responsive to all of our questions. Our only comment is that the traffic along Ali'i drive was quite loud. While we appreciate that this isn't something the property owner can address (it's jsut because of where the property is located), we wanted to include it in our review in case people had babies or small children - it's likely the traffic could wake them up. It was a bit dissapointing to hear the traffic noise when having morning coffee or dinner on the lanai.

This was a wonderful choice for our stay. There was plenty of space for our group of eight. It was a close walk to a beach and snorkeling area. Also a close drive to area, restaurants, and attractions. The grounds were well kept. Plenty of parking. Very nice pool.
The whole rental process was easy and there was good communication.

We stayed here with four adults and three children (ages 3,5,6). The place was plenty spacious and the three bathrooms made getting ready so efficient. The lanai was large and beautiful!
Notes to those with small children: the upstairs has a bed next to a half wall. Should a child be playing on the bed, they could definitely fall. We didn’t let the kids up there without direct supervision. We also received a noise complaint from the downstairs neighbors during the day. Our kids were not shouting but were excited and running from room to room despite our constant reminders to walk. That was a bit stressful and maybe the host should consider only renting to families with older children if this type of noise is unacceptable.

Staying at Kona Surf & Racquet with Knutson was a positive experience. The home was warm and welcoming, and it was as described. The kitchen was decently stocked and the rooms were pleasant. Lots of comfortable beds, bathrooms for everyone, nice kitchen, Hawaiian Vacation style living.
Great pool for rough days in the beach, and the snorkeling at the beach is only 10 minutes away.

Our stay with Knutson at the Racquet Club was fantastic! The list of positive things is long: the location is great (walk to beach in three minutes, close to snorkel beach and Magic Sands), place itself has lots of comfy beds, lots of room, great lanai in the trees, shopping nearby, and management was very responsive and communicative (they were in such good communication that we never had to ask for anything - information was all sent before needing to ask; reminders, codes, etc.). In other reviews there were notes about the highway noise and heat. It is true that it is right by the road, but we didn't find it that loud (I am a light sleeper and with ear plugs I was fine). Also on the heat, it was 83 degrees on our trip and there are at least two fans in every room - an overhead and stand up - and when we had them on, the temperature was perfect.So all in all, it was a fantastic place and it was a big part of what made our trip so good.Thanks Knutson!

Our overall experience with renting this property was amazing. The condo was perfect. Had a little something for every activity. We had teens and a four year old with us. Close to downtown and beaches. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed having a place big enough for our immediate family of 8. Extended family rented other units at this resort. It was good to be close but not right on top of each other.
We enjoyed sharing meals together, relaxing, swimming, snorkeling, pickle ball, and tennis. Lots of activities for everyone!

The resort was very nice and the location was very good. the pool was great for both kids and adults. The only negative was that the specific unit was located next to a busy highway. Since there is no air conditioning, windows must remain open. Therefore, it was very noisy, especially at night.

We really enjoyed our time in this condo. There were 7 of us plus another 5 in another condo and we all had plenty of space when we gathered together. The balcony is completely screened in which is great since we needed outdoor air without a/c inside. (It was warm even in February!) The kitchen was stocked with the items we needed to make meals. Great location! Property manager is excellent and communicated frequently to ensure a pleasant stay.

My friends and I took a trip to Hawaii for the first time, and it was a true pleasure staying at Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club. They had ample living room space and good sized bedrooms. Their outdoor dining area helped us take advantage of the good weather as well. Would definitely come again!

Home was as advertised—a lot of space, nice furniture, and all the kitchen appliances we needed. The open screen patios, numerous windows, ceiling and stand-up fans helped keep us sufficiently cool day and night. And Management was great in guiding us around an issue—the dryer stopped working, a new dryer was ordered, and we were able to use the lanai placed under ceiling fans and stand-up fans to dry our clothes. A good location is one that can meet your needs even when something goes wrong. Highly recommend this location.

Easy check in, very clear information on both the property and local to do's. Easy app to have on your phone so you don't have to worry about memorizing all the information. Lanai being screened in made for wonderful family meals outside while being inside. Only down side if you are not prepared or underestimate can be the heat. Hawaii is beautiful but hot, and the upstairs Loft area was the hottest even with the standing fans provided. Highly suggest to use that area for kids and not adults.

A lot of dead cockroaches around the rooms when we arrived. Upstairs bedroom had an ant infestation. We couldn’t even let our toddler sleep there. Dryer broke and it took days to get fixed. Vacuum was broken most of the stay. AC would be great. A lot of grouchy old people at the pool, made my kids uncomfortable. At one point the Grounds Keeper asked my kids if they were “locals” and if they had a room there. Thankfully they could speak up for themselves. Can assure you we will never rent from here again. —It’s a beautiful place, tidy and cozy, but the over all atmosphere ruined it.

It is a good condo for a larger group. It could use a deep cleaning (rugs in this climate are not great), the coffee pot worked but the burner was crumbling. Location was good but this building runs along the main road so road noise is very loud. Overall we liked it but it could use some tweaks.

The condo could use a deep cleaning (not sure why anyone would want rugs in this climate) but overall the layout and location was nice. The road noise was very loud as this is the building that sits closest to the road but it did quiet down later in the evening.

This is an older unit with no a/c. Clean and well maintained though. Condo gets to be very warm in the afternoon, especially in the upper bedrooms. The fans move the air, but still is warm.Location is close to the pool and tennis courts.With the windows open, it is noisy due to the main road beside this condo.

I rented this unit for the family during our stay in Kona. It has a pool, bbq’s for cooking, and near by is an excellent snorkeling spot for the kids. Plenty of beds and space for everyone. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the entire unit which made things uncomfortable a lot of the time.
