Casago Kona units never disappoint … the condo was *super clean*very well appointed with every single thing we needed (and more!)*QUIET**Incredible view*Comfortable bedThe hosts had superb communication and while we had no issues during our stay, I know if we had they would have been taken care of immediately. We loved staying in this beautiful condo on the edge of the sweet town of Kona. Walking distance to the heart of town, yet a very peaceful --the sound of the waves crashing below drowned out any sounds of resorts and water play. The extra perk was that the managing company supplied items like laundry soap, dishwasher soap, etc. so that we didn't need to buy a lot of things that we wouldn't use up during our stay. Delightful stay.

The view was simply fantastic, we spent a full day on the porch. The place was clean, well maintained, and spacious. My only 2 minor complaints: the couch had 4 legs on the front, both me and my wife stubbed our feet on them. Also, related, I would suggest moving the coffee table away from the couch.

Everything was wonderful. The unit is small but great use of space and was very comfortable for the two of us. We loved the wrap around lanai and appreciated the high bar stool bistro set and spent most of our time out there. Tracy was very responsive to any questions we had. It is a perfect location and within walking distance to downtown Kona with plenty of shops and restaurants.

This is a clean, comfortable condo, well-suited for two people. Nicely furnished, updated kitchen appliances, very comfortable bed. Excellent lanai overlooking the shoreline and ocean, and the assigned parking spot is a real benefit. Located on the southern edge of Kona, it is an easy walk into town. We recommend this property.

The condo is wonderful, well cared for and very comfortable. January weather is always a gamble and the storms kept the water activities to a minimum, but the location and comfort of the condo made up for it. The surf was high but the whales were close. The spinner dolphins danced daily, the turtles came when they could and the eels were active in the pools. All from the lanai. Well stocked kitchen and extremely nice welcome basket. So nice!

We booked this unit for January 24-27, 2026, but unfortunately only stayed one night before relocating. We received a full refund for the remaining three nights. We are frankly mystified by all the positive reviews. The unit showed significant wear and needs lots of attention–the building dates to 1972, according to real estate listings. The central AC is not operational, and the portable swamp cooler (bedroom only) was incredibly loud and ineffective, making sleep difficult. We noticed a persistent musty odor, possibly from visible mold and rust under the bathroom sink. General maintenance issues included chipped paint, rust on fixtures and throughout the unit, worn cushions, broken closet doors, and other items needing repair. The unit needs a significant remodel, including new flooring. The bed is adequate. Both TVs worked properly. Kitchen and bathroom worked as expected. The view from the deck is great. The unit sits directly over the rocks, so the surf is extremely loud even with doors closed—something to consider if you're noise-sensitive. The location has potential, but the unit's current condition did not meet our expectations given the price point. We do not recommend this property in its current state.

Only issue was the lack of hot water a few mornings. Too many folks taking showers, we figured. Also the paperwork we got from Casago said wagon combo was 2003. We were really exhausted carrying a bunch of groceries to 407 without the wagon. In the unit it DID say combo was 2004. We hadn't got there yet to see that. Their template needs to be updated. Loved the grab bars in the shower. The bath needs a pocket door! Love the view.

This was a very pleasant experience. Jan was very communicative throughout the process. The condo is wonderful. The kitchen contains every amenity that we could think of needing throughout our stay. The living room was very comfortable and the bedroom, including the bed and linens was also nice and cozy. Nice having the vanity separate from the toilet and tub/shower. Our favorite part, however, was the lanai. The view is beautiful and relaxing and we enjoyed it every morning and evening. We also took advantage of some of the outdoor Beach equipment that’s available. Every detail and eventuality has been thought through even in regards to the outdoor equipment. Lastly, we enjoyed the proximity to all the shopping and restaurants in the area. We enjoyed the 1 mile walk from our hotel to the very end of the immediate shopping and dining areas. Very quaint and picturesque. It reminded us of us a lot of Lahaina in many ways. We were so saddened when Lahaina burned and were pleasantly surprised at the similar feel of this area. Overall, we were very pleased and enjoyed our week celebrating our 33rd anniversary.
