We booked this property for the incredible views and the location! Everything was just as described!
Upon arrival the host had left us with a sweet note for our anniversary and some sweet welcome gifts. The property was comparable to the pictures shared.
However, the three nights we were there construction crews were outside our balcony and working in the two rooms next to us as early as 8 am. I reached out to the host and was told to reach out to the property manager who was already aware.
Aside from this issue, if the property were to receive some updating we would definitely consider staying here again not just for the location but the views! It literally is situated over the rocks and the crashing of the ocean waves so loud you can hear them even with the doors shut and A/C on! Awesome!

Rental (condo) was as advertised & depicted. Well appointed. Comfortable. Well equipped. Had to relocate to different unit several days into stay to allow access for repair/maintenance to lanai. Back pain kept me from moving baggage so PrM team (Tracy & Taina) kindly moved baggage to another unit which was even better than the 1st. Overall good experience.

We came to Kona to visit our daughter who is on the University of the Nations campus. The location of this condo was great for walking everywhere! So many extras were available for us to use such as beach towels, beach umbrella and an adorable little yellow cooler, which we put to use. Thank you! The kitchen has absolutely everything you need as we had several students over for dinner one evening. Beautiful sunsets and glorious views right off the deck. Perfect!

The location was wonderful, walking distance to great restaurants and entertainment. The view was a beautiful view of the waves crashing on rocks and open sea.
The condo furnishings are a bit dated, but the refurbished kitchen appliances and flooring are nice. Only problem we had is that the kitchen sink’s water faucet pressure would fade down to nothing at times and since the laundry room is next door, someone got in after hours and the machines were loud one night (maybe overloaded and thumping like off balance). Never did see anyone in the condo’s office.
But overall, worth it.

Hi , everything was amazing , people very nice , everything’s very close .. Everything went smooth , I checked in like an hour earlier , was super convenient … Little down side , washers were out of service, so I could not wash my cloths , upstairs neighbors were a little noisy .
But overall I love the place !! Thank you I would come back for sure !!

Location and views were fabulous. The condo had wear and needed upgrades, primarily with the ventilation system which had not been cleaned in a very long time as my allergies were quite stimulated while inside the condo. This is something that has never happened to me in any condo in Hawaii over the years. One look at the vents told the story. A few bugs made appearances but nothing excessive for a tropical climate. Overall a good stay though in the future I think I will go back to the Kona Reef as it has never disappointed.

Just as advertised. Close to town and enjoyed having the ocean sounds lull us to sleep. Laundry facilities convenient but both washers were out of order so had to walk up another floor. Kitchen well equipped even though I was promised that I wouldn’t have to cook on my vacation 😍

This property is absolutely amazing! Our lanai was right over the ocean where we got to watch a sea turtle, numerous fish, and beautiful sunsets. Very close to town and within walking distance to restraunts and shopping.

The sound of waves crashing beneath and the panoramic view is the best. The location of the unit within the small complex and the building’s proximity to town are great. It’s not exactly a full remodel as described, but it works. The shower has quite a low flow.

This property is decorated so perfectly for a beach getaway. They have everything you need and more. They left a bowl of Island fruits for us to arrive to. The sound of the ocean being right below you is unbeatable. The location was spot on for being close to so many different forms of entertainment. We were able to walk to so many of our activities and restaurants. If you are looking for a nice place for 2 in a great location then this is the place for you.

What a wonderful experience we had staying at HKK 212. When we booked we were a little sceptical about going to a new destination (especially Hawaii) without staying at a resort, but once we opened up the door and saw the view and heard the waves crashing upon the rocks, we knew we had made the correct choice. We ate dinner most night on the balcony because there is no better view of the water and the sunsets in Kona. Plus the privacy was top notch. Some other added bonuses were: The unit was very clean and there is no lack of hot water and the shower head pressure is awesome. Also the AC worked almost too good. lol. Thanks Tracy for such a wonderful and much needed stay.

Located close to everything with plenty to do. And when we were still, we enjoyed every second of just relaxing on the lanai and watching the waves hit the tide pools. Everything we could have needed was provided and we had the MOST comfortable bed ever. The host was very friendly and communicative.

Easy walk to Kona downtown, covered parking, corner unit ON the ocean, with breaking waves below, Large deck. The kitchen is well stocked, King bed. The only downside is the bathroom is small, but we will stay here again.

Everything was wonderful. The air conditioning control unit on the wall should should be replaced. You can not read the numbers on the settings due to some of the LED’s being burned out

This was an Amazing location. The condo had an great view i had my balcony, the pool, some black rock from te island and then a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was close enough to walk to. Check in/out was super easy, very friendly and helpful staff. Thank you to the host and the staff.

We loved this apartment - clean, comfortable and a great view from the patio. The exterior looks a bit frayed, which gave me pause, but once inside, all was perfect. Also liked have a lagoon to hang out in. Good covered parking too.

Pros: Location to town was amazing! Accommodations good. Condo as described. Communication was excellent. Cooler and chairs for use was fantastic. Great parking spot.
Cons: Pool was not clean with cockroaches and other bugs floating in it, so could not swim at all. Kitchen (cupboards, plates, utensils) need deep cleaning, had to buy Clorox wipes for sticky surfaces and rewash any dishes we planned to use.

Great unit. Had been remodeled from the last time we stayed and was even better. Privacy, views, you don't hear other people because the sound of the waves blocks them out. Clean, comfortable and well organized. The assigned parking space was difficult--we had to return our original car to the airport and get something smaller...and still were unable to exit our space one morning. Management was great when I contacted them--they found an assigned space that would not be used and let us move the car to it.

We’ve stayed at a different condo in this complex and recommend it to couples (it’s very small) who want to have an oceanfront lanai, easy walk into heart of Kona restaurants and shops, and kitchen. This is the first time we’ve rented a unit from the Casago rental company and we were thrilled with their responsiveness. Unfortunately through no fault of property management the broiler broke and there was no hot water in the entire complex. To make up for this, we were reimbursed 30% for each day without water. We’ll return!

This gem of a condo on the Kona coast is the perfect place to call home for a vacation stay! It is super conveniently located, very near great restaurants and shops.. although no need to go much further than Huggo’s… exactly as pictured and so much more! These hosts truly go the extra mile to make your stay really comfortable and enjoyable. From the stunning views, fully furnished accommodations, and all the beach, kitchen and vacation amenities you’ll need… this condo was 5 star all the way, from booking through check out! We absolutely loved our stay here and cannot recommend it highly enough!!

This is a beautiful little condo that is very charming. It was clean and the check in/out process is easy. The views are breathtaking and relaxing. The property management was quick to respond when we had a couple issues with the building. The place has a smell to it (we had read from prior reviews too) but it helps to open the slider and window to air it out. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was clean, comfortable and a perfect location. We could walk downtown for meals and then sit on the lanai and watch the sunset and hear the waves. Having the air conditioning was a plus too. This is our first rental on the Big Island we had air. And it was nice when we went out and about we returned to a cool place.

This was a college graduation present. We always stay at Hale Kona Kai. The room was clean well stocked and the views are great. Except for the unfortunate hot water issue it was an amazing week, like all the other times we have stayed at Hale Kona Kai

We love 212 and come often, usually twice a year. This time there was an issue with the hot water but we had constant contact with the property manager on timing of repair. Issues happen in an older building. They were nice enough to give us a refund for the issue. The condo is in a perfect location for us, it is equipped well with whatever you might need. We have brought our Italian Granddaughters and well as our American Granddaughter with friends several times. Hopefully the maintenance issue will be fixed, if any, on our nest trip.

Condo was very well laid out and had everything we needed. Walking distance to drinks or restaurants, right on the water, and on a nice quiet side street. The best part was the manager. Husband managed to forget his favorite aloha shirts in the closet and the manager had them packed and sent back immediately, keeping us up to date along the way. Thank you so much!

Nice, quiet condo complex just off the main road, but so easy to walk into town. The kitchen had everything you needed. Because of the small size of the living space, you need to eat out on the lanai but it is the perfect place to be. From this corner 4th floor you can watch the fish on the reef, the waves crashing on the rocks and best of all dazzling sunsets.

We loved our stay here❤️ Loved waking up and having breakfast out on the Lanai. The view is incredible !! The Kona coast did not disappoint . We saw sea turtles, tropical fish and in the evening beautiful sunsets. The rental had beach chairs we could use so that was helpful as well. The place is older but really after we ate breakfast we were out and about all day and it had a great AC that kept the place nice and cool. We will be coming back and staying here when we do🌺

The condo was in the perfect location: directly on the ocean (falling asleep to the crashing of waves...!) and within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in downtown Kona. It had everything we needed and was super comfortable. (LOVED doing yoga on the balcony every morning.)

Unit this is vacation perfection in every way. We immediately felt relaxed and at home because of the attention to detail in every room. We couldn’t have asked for anything more to enjoy our stay. Don’t let the slightly warn appearance of the property scare you away from this perfect unit with a wraparound lanai affording unbelievable views. Great location in Kona. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Apartment was very clean. Bed was comfy. Total space a little smaller than it looked in the photo. Bathroom was tiny but workable. Kitchen was well stocked. We ate dinner out most nights but had breakfast and sometimes lunch at the room. It worked well for us. Other reviews had a lot to say about the AC. Honestly we left it off most days because it was in the mid 70s with a nice breeze. When we did use the AC the place cooled down quickly.
