We had a great stay - the place was wonderful!. We lived sitting out on the balcony watching the sunsets and just simply reading a book!No A/C but the fans helped. The place wasn’t crowded, so it was really peaceful.

We had a lovely stay at Sea Village! The property is very beautiful. The pool is tucked right up against the ocean where you are able to enjoy the sunsets. Just a short walk to the bridge for amazing wave watching and you’ll catch a surfer or two once in a while. The main drag and marina are about a mile away for shopping and adventures! The host is amazing! Joanne is very communicative and checked in on us after the rare 6.0 earthquake and smaller aftershocks to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything.The kitchen has all of the dishes and appliances you need to be comfortable, but no spices or condiments, so you’ll want to go to Walmart or Safeway. Speaking of, after staying three weeks, we do highly recommend ordering takeout mostly. Making food at the condo seemed to be more expensive than ordering. If you can get to the Hilo side of the island, take a cooler (from the closet) bc on the way back you’ll find fresh catch fish - mahi, swordfish for 20 .. we got 5 thick steaks from the swordfish and it was delicious! There’s no doubt you’ll enjoy your stay here at Sea Village and want to come back! Mahalo JoAnne!

The location was stunning . Listening to the waves from the lanai was beautiful. The condo was clean , well stocked with kitchen needs, towels , blankets etc , and even some beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels . Communication with the host was great . The condo is on Alli drive which is central to stores , beaches , restaurants . Great stay and we will be back .

The place had just about everything u needed for fun on the beach! Plenty of room to move about and in a great location! Only negative thing I have is air conditioning is undersized for the living room and there's no ac for 2nd bedroom. Hope u like it warm!

View from the deck and hearing the ocean at night was fantastic. The place was clean, very well equipped and getting in was easy. Location was good for getting around and there were multiple food options and food shopping options nearby. This was the first place we stayed on the islands and it was a wonderful introduction.

The view was spectacular. The location of the property was excellent for going out and about the island. The property was clean. A washing machine was fabulous. The parking was free. A picture of the property did show coffee beans next to the coffee pot. That was not correct and back to the store we went. The cooling system was not central air. As a result, the condo was very warm in the evening. We had trouble getting the place cool at night. In the bedroom, the pull cord for the fan, and the separate cord for the light, did not work. I am sure maintenance will fix this issue. If the cords had worked, the bedroom would not have been so hot at night. We never went to the pool. We were gone each day. Even with the cooling issues, I would still recommend the property.

This was a great unit with a 5-star view! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. There were plenty of extra beach towels as well as chairs, cooler, etc. The beds were comfortable with quality sheets and pillows. I was a bit worried about no a/c, but the cross breeze and cooling fans made it perfectly comfortable!

Super cute little condo with amazing views of the ocean. It was the perfect size for my partner and I to use as home base as we explored the Big Island. PROS: * This place has a comanding ocean view right off the balcony which is viewed from throughout the living room/dining room/kitchen. * The place appeared clean upon entry* There were beach towels, pool noodles, beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrellas available in the unit* You could log on to your own streaming services *The location is right off Ali'i Drive a short drive from Kona downtown - shops, dining, grocery stores, etc.CONS:*The blender was rusted*The toaster was rusted*The knives were rusted*The kitchen table had not been cleaned* There was quite a bit of construction noise* There is some pool noise since the place sits above the pool* The management company was NOT quick to respond regarding any issues* When you open the louvered winsows in the bedrooms the parking lot is in view * no a/c, only fans

When we arrived we noticed Cockroaches in the Kitchen, drawers and cupboards also inside the Dishwasher. The Shower pan and glass doors were dirty, the back of Toilet was Filthy. Floors were dirty and all glass and mirrors were the typical “Smear”. There was a “half” roll of paper towels that we scavenged up and 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. We spent a lot of time sanitizing the counters ,dishes & glasses. We had friends come over to visit, there were only two chairs and a very small table on the Patio. There is no A/C in this unit and we understood that, Although there are no portable fans to be found. The Bedroom TV doesn’t work and has screen damage.Don’t assume there will be typical supplies there. The Owners resolve was to give us back 50 and blame everyone else regarding cleanliness and Pest Control. Then went on a Rant about how theft of supplies. I’m sure there was a hidden key for all the closets but there was no offer to give us access. The Housekeeper came at her request, but only did flooring. We had a great stay at this condo in Hawaii. The unit was clean, welcoming and well equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of dishes, working appliances and convenient in unit laundry. Communication with the host was excellent and we appreciated the guidebook with local recommendations and helpful. Contacts parking was easy in the grounds and pool were lovely. The location made it easy to access the Kailua Kona area.The only drawback was the air-conditioning well listed. There is no central air-conditioning only portable units. The bedroom unit wasn’t well sealed, allowing warm air back in which made it difficult to cool the space at night. There was also some uncertainty about how much we could use the air-conditioning without incurring additional cost. Overall, a positive experience with the air conditioner seal being the main area for improvement.

Loved our stay. The location was perfect. Overlooking a green span to see the ocean. The lanai was the best place to start the morning with a cup of coffee. The kitchen had all the dishes, pans, and utensils needed for a comfortable stay. The living room was very comfortable. We loved the bedroom and the king size bed was wonderful. The closet had beach mats and chairs that we used on our beach trips. Happy that beach towels were available to use. The air conditioner in the living room was very useful. The only item that was very loud was the washer. Definitely use it during the day. I would recommend and return for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Short term rentals suit us well. Functionally, everything was included in the rental. Particularly, having the washer and dryer in the unit were key. I would suggest that packing include only two days of necessary clothing. We had about a week each; when we packed to leave after 3 weeks we realized that half of our clothes weren't ever worn. Better to pack well for the recreation you wish to participate in. Snorkel, fins and the like. If you plan to do any hikes beyond the Volcanoes National Park, you should consider trekking poles, unless you are fit and under 40. Many of the other hikes are over A' A' lava, which has many tripping hazzards and falling down will definitely result in bleeding - very abrasive stuff.The first Christian church is in downtown Kona - a Congregational chruch. Very cool services. After church each Sunday (we attended 3 times) there is a person to guide you through the history of the church and introductoin of Christianity to the islands. If Chris Cook is available, he is very eager to share his knowledge. He has written 10 books on the subject.

Sea Village is our favorite and this unit in particular. View from that lanai is incredible. Everything is so well stocked and clean. Close enough to walk to the village and just far enough to enjoy the sounds of the waves without any noise from the strip. We've stayed in this unit twice and it truly feels like home away from home.

Had a great start at Leenas place. Lanai, and living area gave us magnificent views of the ocean and the sound of the waves and birds was so relaxing. Kitchen had all amenities needed. Bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and nice hot water. Condo was quiet. AC was nice though master bedroom seemed to stay a little warm, fan helped. Only recommendation is that pillows need replaced. Barely any stuffing, hard to get comfortable. Location and amenities top notch!!

I highly recommend this condo and property. The property is extremely well maintained love the barbecue area and the pool is truly oceanfront unbelievable views every direction you look the condo is extremely clean and has incredible views. The extra bonus is no stairs for the entrance, but as you come into the condo, you realize that you are in an elevated position above the ocean your lanai has a perfect setting for early morning coffee, dinners, and just to sit out and enjoy and relax. The living room is huge larger than I expected and larger than most properties. The kitchen is spacious and everything is extremely clean. The bedroom has a king size bed in plenty of space for your belongings during your stay. I cannot recommend this property enough.
