Kids really enjoyed the pool and the setting was awesome. Common areas at the propery pool, bbq, grassy areas gave since of community with others on vacation. Room and lani had great ocean view. A little more cooling capability with an additional portable AC or central air would have been nice but we adjusted.

Quaint condo perfectly situated right against the west coast of the Big Island. We had front row seats to evening sunsets, breezy air through the day, a covered lanai to enjoy the view and eat meals and drink coffee and the sound of the ocean waves 24-7! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a vacation rental on the Big Island of Hawaii!

Wonderful stay, had everything we needed plus some, great hosts, great location, very busy area but walk about 1 mile to downtown and 5 minute drive to the beach. No beach/water to get in front of the unit, it’s all rock and the water is rough. And only thing to be aware of and mentioned in the listing, no AC, a little warm in the unit during the day but sleeping in the bedrooms was cool enough with all the fans going.

Unit was in great condition and had many more kitchen amenities that I anticipated. A great blender, coffee grinder, etc. There was an AC unit but I didn't need it, the fans were great. One suggestion, maybe update the beach chair options but that was able to make due with what was there just fine. Host and property manager were great. A

Teresa and Rick were very responsive and welcoming. I received information about the unit and things to do on the island well ahead of time. The condo was well equipped with everything we could possibly need..beach gear, drying rack, all kinds of kitchen items, fans. The view was as pictured and we enjoyed our time on the lanai. The grounds are well kept and peaceful.Teresa checked in on us to see if we needed anything or had questions part way into our stay. We would definitely return to this unit at Sea Village.

So, I messaged the owners the day before we were getting there to see if we could check in early. They messaged me back 2-days later to let me know we could check in two hours early. What! I'm already in the place! There communication stinks. My wife and I walk in the condo and instantly look at each other and said, wow this place is dated. The pics on the internet makes it look much better. The Kitchen had all you would need to cook anything, but you had to wash anything you used. Coffee cups had stains in them that washed out easy. Pans weren't clean, had to wash. We go in the bathroom and they have these two floor rugs that looked like they hadn't been washed in a while. We aren't going to walk on someone elses filth. My wife washed them both and they turned out great looking. The big rug in the living room was nasty also. We really didn't know untill we walked barefooted on it and sand and dirt stuck to your feet. Gross! Vacuumed the best we could. The picture on the internet is not the same rug. It wouldn't hurt to change out this rug every so often. The washer/dryer worked great. I'm taking a shower and my wife brings me a towel. Are you kidding me!! There's towels with holes in them and some had nasty stains. YEP, my wife put in washer and all stains came out but can't fix holes. That is what I call a cheap owner. When I rented this place, it said it had AC. Well, it does. It's a indoor unit that couldn't even cool down the living room. Owners:Change cleaning people!!!

we loved the unit,however,the TV was way to small to watch from the davenport,you could not read the newsline on the bottom. The outside shade was wonderful blocking the afternoon sun. the inside where you sit on the sofa,there is no shade,so we had to move the sofa to get out of the direct afternoon sun,We ended up stacking the boxes and the ironing board, plus sofa pads to block the sun.

We had a problem with the tv and Courtney came right out to fix. Thank you. The view was incredible had all the things you needed to cook with, but the best of all was the coffee grinder, nothing like fresh ground Kona coffee beans in the morning for coffee. We had a great time and will be back next year.

Location was great. Quiet, close to town, ocean view. Appreciated snorkel gear and beach chairs as well. Bedroom mattress was extremely worn and offered no support. Air conditioning in bedroom would be a welcome upgrade since the AC in living room did not cool the entire condo. Old frying pan in kitchen was unusable ..nonstick coating was completely scratched off. Air conditioning in living area was loud so unable to hear television unless volume turned up to maximum.

This is a very nice, spacious condo with an incredible lanai directly overlooking the ocean. We were able to see dolphins and a manta ray from it, and enjoyed eating meals there. Parking is convenient being close to the stairs leading to the unit. Although we didn’t use them, there was a wide variety of beach gear. I especially appreciated that cleaning supplies were readily available, as well as a washer and dryer. I would have easily given the unit 5 stars except that there were a few things in the kitchen that I was unhappy with. The good news is that they could be easily addressed and resolved. The only other challenge was the remotes for the TV - something that should have been intuitive, but was not. The sound of the ocean is quite loud in the living room which made it hard to hear the TV. It was a small price to pay for the benefits of the proximity. The unit was well maintained and comfortable. The pool was very nice, and everyone seemed to enjoy being in it. If you turn left or right, there are many fun adventures outside your door.

Arrival was easy. It was close to downtown Kona but not walking distance. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need! Response to questions or issues was super quick! The view from the deck was amazing and the unit was quiet. The beds we’re comfortable and the closets had beach items available for use. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Kona!

Our first trip to the Big Island… location is on the main drive which gave us options to walk or drive to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Condo was clean and as shown on listing plus owner very responsive to answer questions. The beach chairs, snorkel gear and umbrella were an added perk! We would definitely stay here again!

I gave a 4 star on description because it didn’t show or mention the very loud floor A/C units located in the living room and bedrooms. The condo is clean however, there is a cockroach problem. They sprayed while we were there which made it worse. Other than that, the view was amazing from the Lanai and it is within 2 miles of restaurants.

We stayed in two different places this trip and while we were able to deal with stuff at the time—lots of cockroaches (expect some but not that many), issues with the codes, no AC, poorly stocked kitchen (felt more like a hotel trying to cook right off the bat), we enjoyed the area and grounds but compared to the other place, it was lacking. The communication was super quick and we got a new access code quickly. They were responsive to our ideas but we wouldn’t be quick to go back without knowing things had been addressed. The view is absolutely perfect though, which was definitely a major saving grace! They did have chairs and coolers which were super helpful too.
