We had good relaxing stay at Chris's condo. The Condo was well equipped and everything was in good functioning order, clean and ready to go when we arrived. The view from the lanai is wonderful ! A ceiling fan keeps you cool in the afternoon. The artwork in the condo is well thought out. It can get a little warm in the late afternoon but cooled off in the evening. The unit's bedroom faces the road and you will have some road noise but it was not a problem after 9-10 pm. There was plenty of snorkel gear and good quality beach chairs for outdoor activities. The grounds are well cared for and you can see Chris takes care of his place. I have been to number of ocean view condos and they need extra love to keep them in good order and Chris does that in this place. The bathroom has a large walk in shower in an updated bathroom. There was one door under the kitchen sink that was out for repair, but this was not any problem for us. Actually it worked out well since the galley kitchen is tight. Chris was super fast on the booking response and checked in with us to make sure all was good.

Our stay was better than anticipated, very well equipped condo with everything we needed including all the beach toys to use!
Fresh fruit was waiting for us on our arrival too. Easiest check in we've experienced in our travels to Hawaii. Very close to shops, restaurants, and downtown. The free trolly was a surprise and could be picked up right across the street. We walked to most places and enjoyed the views along the way.
Chris, the owner, was available anytime we we reached out. Very responsive!
We will be back!

Common condo grounds were well located and very clean. during our visit, the spa was out of order, pool was not heated during winter. Our unit was quite dated, needed an update,and serious cleaning. one kitchen cabinet door was broken and missing. To the credit of our owner, he credited our payment for $200 due to a rain date. overall Kona was welcoming and beautiful, many beaches, restaurants, and sites.

This condo was perfectly situated about a mile from town making it an easy walk to shops and restaurants. It was well appointed making it easy to cook meals with easy access to the BBQ area. The pool area was very nice and the other guests were very friendly. The owner was extremely helpful, giving easy directions to the unit and making check in effortless. We look forward to going back soon.

Chris was an excellent and responsive host. The location of the unit and its view of the ocean are great.
Everything worked well (except for one cabinet door that fell off), but most of the furnishings are, I would say, well used. There is a lot of noise from traffic, poor sound-proofing of the units, people talking, etc. The bedroom would really benefit from air conditioning. It was challenging to make it comfortable for sleeping using a combination of fan setting, window opening, and bed covers. But, all in all, it was a great place to stay and we very much enjoyed our visit.

The condo was a perfect addition to the amazing scenery. The view from this space must be the best of all the condos. Shortly after we arrived, we witnessed a beautiful sunset and things just got better!

The condo was perfect! Great location. We were able to take day trips all around the island and come back to the condo to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean view. We had everything we needed. The owner was terrific and gave us suggestions for places to eat, and activities to partake in. They were all excellent. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

Fair price and a great location make this a no-brainer for your Big Island adventure! Walking distance to town and small beaches is really convenient! Nice and easy communication with owner and flexible check in/out (cleaning dependent) was a breeze! The condo is bright and clean and has nice personal touches including a TON of beach gear! Typical 1970's vintage condo unit with some minor upgrading over the years. Very clean and nice, though it's clearly time for a remodel job on the kitchen and bath. We've stayed at lots of VRBO's and this is one of the better ones that are not totally renovated or brand new. Well stocked with necessities (peanut butter; salt and pepper; paper towels; coffee; etc.) so no need to run to the store right away.
Chris, the owner, is a great administrator and was very attentive to our needs and minor complaints (the shower door was off the track as were the linen closet doors). Any problem was solved with expediency.
The best sales point, though, is the location and overall maintenance of Sea Village. It's right on the water, with beautiful sunsets (when it wasn't raining), easy walk to snorkeling (Chris has every kind of beach stuff you need; snorkeling gear; boogie boards; umbrellas; chairs; etc); and the property is meticulously maintained with a pristine pool; four newer barbeques that are cleaned every day; and really nice grounds.
All in all, a completely enjoyable stay in Kona, helped by Chris, his unit, and Sea Village.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It is close to the main spots without being right in the middle of them. This is a very nice property with many amenities yet small enough to not be crowded. I would absolutely stay here if I return to the big island.

The apartment was perfect. It was on the second floor with a grand view across the property and to the ocean and setting sun. We enjoyed the pool and the adjacent hot tub. Many residents appreciated using the pretty and ample barbecuing facilities around dinner-time each night, however, we remained away because of Covid concerns. The location on Alii Drive was great in lots of ways.

We had a great overall experience. Chris was an excellent host, the condo was very clean, kitchen was very well stocked. The new beach chairs and umbrella were put to good use. Fantastic views with everything you could need! Chris makes sure that when you arrive everything is well stocked and ready for you to sit back and relax. Pictures and description are accurate. The unit was beautifully located and very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The whole experience was very turn-key with beach gear, coolers, towels, snorkels all available and in good condition. The overall Sea Village property has a stunning location, super grounds with bbq, pool and ocean view. very walkable and rental bikes right across the street. Great place for families. Chris was a super host, very responsive and flexible with our families needs. Would definitely stay here again.

From prearrival through checkout everything was easy and welcoming. The view from the terrace is fabulous with wonderful sunsets. The saltwater pool, BBQs and outdoor tables were a great feature. The location was convenient to all. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals.

My husband and I spent a week at this well located condo. Communication with Chris, the owner, was outstanding. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well stocked with good quality cookware and dishes, there were plenty of beach items (including a small cooler, which was great), and beach towels. The common areas were very nicely maintained, and we appreciated the grills and picnic tables. The sunset view may have been one of the best parts of our vacation!

First off, the owner was extremely helpful and courteous. We found the description in the VRBO website to be understated if anything. The unit was nicely decorated and had an awesome view of the garden and ocean as shown on the website. The kitchen was fully functional with more dishes, etc. than needed. The queen bed was comfortable. The bedroom has an air conditioner although we never turned it on, there being adequate fans throughout. There is a mini market in walking distance although a car is necessary to get to town, Safeway, Walmart, etc. If we ever return to the big island, we'd stay in this unit again for sure.

We couldn't ask for anything more. Chris, the owner, truly has loaded the place with everything you need for an amazing vacation; snorkel gear (even mask spray), beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels & mats, boogie boards, surfboard, sand toys, coolers, even guide books rating the beaches for snorkeling. Condo is centrally located making it easy to see & do so much. All you need is your swimsuit and minimal clothes (washer & dryer in unit) and the rest of the fun is up to you.

My wife and I stayed almost 2 weeks in this bright and clean condo which is only minutes away from the charming downtown area of Kailua-Kona.
The condo was very well-stocked...kitchen appliances, utensils, cooking oils, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, parasol, beach towels, bathroom towels,etc. The little touches here and there are really nice and the attention to detail was very much appreciated.
We made the most of our condo to relax and took full advantage of the pool and hot tub as well as the on-site BBQ in the common outdoor area.
We also borrowed the Big Island Snorkeling tips book from the condo's mini-library which really gave my wife and I an insider's look at the island's best snorkeling sites including Two Step Beach which is not to be missed.
We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone and would love to come back in the future.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you! After our stay at your condo we met our daughter and her family in Waikoloa for another five days.
We loved our time at your condo. The view is so pretty and we had fun watching all the activity on the ocean in front of your place. The dolphins were so fun to watch! The condo is so comfortable and so well stocked with everything! We enjoyed the pool and relaxing on the lanai. We did some shopping and lots of eating! The surf was pretty rough so the snorkeling was not so good this time. Thank you so much for the gift bag of goodies! They were yummy and the bag was really handy for the pool and beach. This condo is by far the best one I have stayed at using HomeAway! Firstly, the cost for what you get is superb! The condo is right on the water with the most amazing view. You can't beat waking up and walking out onto the lanai for breakfast every morning and see the ocean right there! It is clean and large. There is plenty of parking in the complex. The bedroom has an air-conditioning unit in case you need it. The living room was large with a pullout couch, and two fans to keep cool. The bathroom and open concept kitchen have been updated. The kitchen literally has every gadget you could want to cook with. The condo is located in a really nice spot, because it is a walkable mile from "town" but far enough away that it is quiet at night. The pool is easily accessible. and looks right on the water. Chris was an amazing host. He replied to all of our questions before and during our trip. He went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests! He also provides everything you would ever need for the beach, including snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, and more! I will be recommending this condo to all of our friends and family! If we are lucky enough to visit Hawaii again, we will definitely be staying here! Thank you Chris for the amazing experience!

Central location, parking and ease to go any direction to explore the Big Island. As nice as the apartment, pool and BBQ grill area are, be sure to venture out to see the historic, cultural and geological wonders of Hawaii the Island. We stayed at Chris' condo for 4 weeks in February, and it was the perfect amount of time. We have rented several places through VRBO over the years, and this one was the best stocked of any we have stayed in. The kitchen had absolutely everything I needed, even spices and condiments, as well as all of the cooking utensils I use at home. There were several extra nice touches, like receiving the local paper delivered daily. And the beach items - from snorkeling equipment to coolers, chairs umbrellas, etc, - it was all there and in good shape. I think it helps to rent a place that is owner-occupied some of the time, as Chris didn't leave anything out and keeps everything in great shape. It has new appliances and furniture and had a fresh paint job just before we arrived. Chris was very attentive to our needs and made us feel welcome from our first contact with him.
The location is good, near some of the best beaches (loved Kahalu'u for snorkeling) and a short walk to downtown. Ali'i Drive is a busy street, but it was manageable, and there are several side streets to use to avoid the worst of it. Our favorite restaurant, Jackie Rey's, is only a few blocks away.
I highly recommend this condo, and we will be back there next time we go to the Big Island!

I was delighted to return to Chris's condo to find some amazing upgrades. It has been painted a pretty serene blue colour, he has added some modern Hawaiian surf art and new furniture. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in from the Hawaiian music playing and fresh fruit and treats left for us to the homey feeling of the condo. Chris ensured that we had everything we needed for our vacation. He has provided all the snorkeling and beach gear necessary for an enjoyable day at our favorite Hapuna Beach.
The condo is a short walk to town for some souvenir shopping, happy hour and of course shaved ice. It is also a central location for driving to all the sites the Big Island has to offer.
The condo complex is quiet and very well maintained with beautiful foliage and a clean pool area right on the water. Green Flash Coffee makes great coffee, smoothies and breakfast sandwiches to enjoy while watching the breathtaking sunrises in the morning from the lanai.
I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at this condo and will definitely make plans to come back again, hopefully sooner rather than later. Mahalo Chris!
