This property was exactly like the pictures posted on VRBO. It was super clean, the kitchen was beautiful and very well stocked and the view of the ocean from the lanai was stunning! The parking was very convenient and it was a very short drive to multiple sites in Kona. We really appreciated having an in house washer/dryer and the condo was very well stocked with towels, beach chairs, umbrellas etc. we highly recommend this property!!

The view was great. We were able to see dolphins our first morning but then weren't able to see them any other day.
It wasn't very hot for the entire trip. There was always a nice breeze through the house.
It's semi walkable to downtown Kona, and pretty central towards the south part of the island as well.
During our stay there were some very energetic upstairs neighbors, but it's a condo / apartment so sometimes it happens.
They also had a lot of beach gear. We used the hat, some of their provided beach towels, and an iron man bag. Overall a fantastic place to stay!

We rented the condo for a 2nd honeymoon after 27 years of marriage. The condo was exactly as it was advertised. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks was the perfect soundtrack to our vacation. The sunsets were breathtaking. The unit is centrally located and walking distance (about a mile away) great dining options. The host was responsive to all of my texts. I highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation on the Big Island.

very clean and pretty cool with the fans even without AC. it was 80 degrees throughout the week and it stayed a good temperature in the apartment. lanai is gorgeous and a beautiful place for breakfasts or to hang out. extra fans in the closet really cooled down the bedroom and were great to have.
20 min walk or 5 min drive to the heart of kona. cute little coffee shop in the apartment complex with great iced coffee.
whitney and her family were next door and were lovely to us and helpful with anything we might have needed. definitely worth it and would absolutely stay again!

We are so very thankful that we found this booking last minute. The property has everything you need and more and the views of Kona town are out of this world. Good surf within walking distance. We started in a resort but enjoyed this much more. All the amenities for the beach and comfortable living. Whitney Thank you so much fir sharing your beach cottage with us. Clean & comfortable waterfront condo, an excellent value. Watched spinner dolphins and sunsets from the lanai. Great location on Ali'i Drive, set back from the street so not much traffic noise. Gas grills and picnic tables in the large, grassy couryard.

The bedroom had 2 portable cooling fans and were definitely needed in the evenings. Pulling the shade down on the porch when we were out at the beach all day helped keep the unit cool.

We were able to watch Manta Rays swim just off the seawall for over 40 minutes. It was less than 50 yards from us and it was amazing.
The property is very comfortable for a week getaway. It is close to anywhere you want to go on Hawaii.
Most of the awake time at the unit was spent on the lanai looking out over the water, as it was mesmerizing.

We had a wonderful stay in the condo last month. It is even nicer than the photos show. Everything seems to be new and so stylish. The lanai is right on the ocean with a lovely view of Kona. We enjoyed watching the outrigger canoes and dolphins while having coffee in the morning. The host Whitney was great and very easy to reach as was the owner who was equally great.

The property was everything that was listed and more. The view was amazing as we watched sunsets, viewed dolphins and listened the the waves. The condo has everything that is needed from the kitchen to beach supplies (chairs, cooler, umbrella & beach towels). Having the fridge have its own ice maker was a gift in itself as we packed daily lunches for a days excursions. Traveling the whole island was more then we could have ever expected and we could end each day with a dip in the pool and soak in the spa. When we come back (because we will be) we will be looking to stay in this condo!
Thank you for helping make our first of many trips to the Big Island the most memorable!

Loved the view and we love to walk and magic sands was about 40 minutes and downtown was about 20. Great location and loved Green Flash coffee in the AM. The only problem we had is no sound proofing between the bedroom and outside staircase. Twice we were woken and had to ask people to quiet down. Other then that it was great.

This was by far one of our best vacations. The condo was amazing. The location is perfect for relaxing and a quick walk to town. No traffic noise and only waves can be heard in the background.

Very clean, well-maintained condo right on the water in Kona. We watched whales & spinner dolphins from the sheltered lanai with an expansive view of Kailua Bay. Far enough from Ali'i Drive that there's very little traffic noise (which can be a problem in this area).

We loved the ocean front lanai and spent most of our time sitting there. The condo was spacious and clean - and conveniently located to a coffee shop and cafe! Noise travels easily in the complex, but we slept well with earplugs.

The property was great and the views of the ocean are so amazing, so close you could see schools of yellow fish swimming. Hearing the sounds of the waves were so calming. It was a treat to sit on the balcony to have morning coffee and watch the sunsets which were incredible. It was nice that the owner had beach chairs, a cooler, and umbrella to use and snorkeling gear! Everything worked in the condo and its located near to some great restaurants. We were a little worried that the condo did not have air conditioning being from Florida but we had no issues staying cool as the breeze from the ocean was refreshing. We would definitely stay here again with no hesitations.

Wonderful spot with easy access to Kona, Capt Cook, and more! We loved sitting on the lanai at all times of day and appreciated all of the wall hooks for hanging wet stuff. Loved all the amenities of this unit (w/d, good shower, etc.) and was grateful for having more beach towels (and nice ones!) than we had at the other rentals we stayed at as we island hopped. Would definitely stay here again!

This condo is beautiful, very tastefully decorated, nicely remodeled and outfitted with quality and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is gorgeous and well equipped. The great location provides the best views of the ocean, mesmerizing sunsets, we've even seen dolphins from our lanai. We wish we could stay there longer. The condo owners were very nice and helpful. The condo was beautiful with breath taking views. We fell in love with the area and actually want to buy a condo there. Our only complaint was how hot it was. Its ocean side with no AC so there should be a breeze but we were sweating all night with the fans on and doors open. Aside from this we loved our stay and you can not beat the views / location.Having a fully stocked kitchen and laundry in unit was a major plus!

Good location, spectacular views.
Renovated unit in a old complex. Unit itself is clean. Washer smelled funny and sleeping was a challenge as the bedroom is right next to the common stairs and loud neighbors and folks walking up and down would be a pain as it was noisy waking us up periodically. An A/C too would have helped as it was getting hot, even with doors to the balcony being open for ocean breeze.
Host allowed for late checkout which is a plus but was not responsive quick enough at times.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! Location is perfect, pool was awesome and sunsets were spectacular! Only two minor negatives: the bedroom stays quite bright at night with the outside lights shining in and it was quite warm. We had to run the ceiling fan & two others to stay cool enough to sleep. Otherwise, the condo was well appointed & maintained.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view and the sunsets are perfect, the unit is very clean, and the owners provide you with beach chairs, a cooler, umbrella, etc. to go out and enjoy the beautiful beaches on the island. The pool was nice and clean and never too crowded. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend this unit to anyone.
