The condo is clean and beautifully decorated with everything about Hawaii! The view from the lanai is perfect in the center and 3rd floor for privacy! Perfect location! We went in August and I was worried about it being hot but I brought some mini fans and was fine! Kitchen has all the appliances and tools needed to cook. Host is really helpful with pointing out thinfs to do and has a whole book of helpful stuff! Pool and hot tub are nice! I miss it already! I didnt need to rent chairs or umbrellas while i was there for the beaches. I brought a lightwieght festival blanket to sit on and found shade in caves and trees. I prefer to be in the water most of the time! There are tons of things to do on the island besides beaches! We rented a car and went everywhere. This condo is a great location if you dont want to rent a car because theres a lot of nearby things to do!

Enjoyed staying in this fully equipped condo, had everything we needed to cook meals. The pool, grounds and bbqs. were very well kept up and cleaned every day. Nicely located just south of Kona. Very comfortable king bed. Joann was very helpful and responded quickly before and during our stay!

Nice, clean, comfortable condo for 2 people. Beautiful ocean views from our lanai. The grounds of the complex are impeccable. Close to old town Kona. Only drawback, no elevator. Worth the walk up 3 flights however. Owner Joann is a pleasure to work with, also the maintenance crew at the complex are friendly.

Loved the tropical breezes and sounds of the ocean from this nicely appointed apartment that had everything needed for a very pleasant stay. Host personally reached out before and after arrival to ensure experience was ideal from start to finish. Highly recommend if you are looking for nice accommodations on the Big Island of Hawaii

Condo was more than we could have hoped for, clean and comfortable especially the bedroom with an added bonus amenity from host Jo Ann we didn't expect that made our stay perfect. She was prompt to answer questions and provided us with info for island day trips. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Green Flash coffee shop on-site was a treat. Enjoyed the view from living room couch of the ocean and actually saw dolphins. Highly recommend and hope to return again.

We felt very comfortable here. The place was clean, the evenings were cool with open windows (no a/c), the furnishings were comfortable, and the view was perfectly beautiful. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Kona!

My husband and I spent the most blissful nine days at Joann’s place. It had everything we needed and more. A highlight was spending time on the lovely deck overlooking the grounds and the ocean. Sunsets were amazing. Joann was so responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!

This was my observation (nothing personal)
Tired complex
It says “upscale/updated” in the description
Very dirty, everything sticky , crumbs everywhere
Shower was very dirty and rusty
Our feet were black from the moment we took our shoes off.
Old couch smells and has stains (we borrowed towels from my cousin to throw over it to sit down)
Crumbs in drawers and the main one with silverware still has a major sticking problem
No extra trash bags
No coffee maker (I was told by the owner the day before leaving that the previous renters had broken the pitcher and that the replacement must have been lost in the mail). However I did not see a machine or I would have picked one up upon our arrival at the local Walmart, had I known.
One roll of one ply toilet paper (12 days, two people doesn’t work)
No napkins (paper or cloth) though we were told 25 were supposed to be provided (so have the cleaning lady bring them over- is my response)
Three wine glasses (two match)
One face cloth
Flashlight doesn’t work, batteries?(could have used it when we lost power)
No fire extinguisher
No cleaning products (I was looking for some basic Lysol to spray things down) even though I was told it was fully stocked
Salt and pepper grinders (empty)
Kid friendly (definitely no relaxing pool time)
Noise by bedroom (window is in outdoor walkway) neighbor had a couple children running back and forth in their unit at 5:30 in the morning (you can hear everything!)
With all the notes telling where and what to do in the unit they need one that says clean lint from dryer after each use. The machine is very old and it took some looking around to figure it out and it was full. I cleaned out the outer lint holder but the inner one needs to be addressed before it’s totally clogged.(major fire hazard)
No air conditioning and afternoon sun makes it unbearable to hang in the afternoon. We’d keep the front door open at night but found it’s the only unit with an old screen door which is easily accessible.
The two beach towels were basically rags
Overall, very disappointing and misleading
When you spend a boatload of money to fly, rent a car, and stay at a highly rated Vrbo you should have the basics to feel like you are treating yourself to a getaway

Ideal location if you want to be close to the sea and to Kailua Kona. Pool and hot tub nice to have. BBQ used nightly by many and picnic table area just below condo. A little noisy but happy people and quiet by 9pm. Host very quick to respond to questions and very helpful with suggestions for activities if you need help with that. All in all we enjoyed a relaxing week in Hawaii exploring the big island, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, and seeing the latest volcano eruption in the air!

There were a few things we wish we would've researched before we booked our trip, but overall we were very happy with Joann and her home.
There is no beach to walk to. It's all lava rock which is very cool but the beaches on this side are very small and either a long walk or a drive. There also is no A/C which again is our fault for not looking into that. And... It's rarely 85 degrees... We just got lucky!! Hopefully this is helpful for the next person. The property was nice overall!

The condo was described perfectly and had a beautiful view of the sunsets. The noise from the street was described correctly in the description but I brought ear plugs since I am a light sleeper so it wasn't a problem and my husband slept thru it. The location was perfect, it was well stocked, and the grills were great. the beach chairs and coolers were perfect for our beach days. I would rent the condo again if I make it back to Kona!

My wife and I stayed here for 11 days of scuba, volcanoes, and waterfalls. The condo is very well equipped and has many amenities for the beach and hikes. The grounds and the pool are impeccable. Great location just a mile south of Kona. No AC and the evenings get a bit warm but the ocean breeze keeps things quite comfortable. Joann was very responsive to questions.

This was our first time on the Big Island, and our stay was excellent- 16 glorious days! The property was located about 1.5 miles from town from all the tourist attractions. We had a rental car (which I recommend), but there were a few times we walked to town to pick up and return our rental car (which was cheaper on the budget). Our condo was clean and in an excellent location. It afforded us a beautiful view of the ocean as we were on the top floor (the view was amazing)! We also had a lovely view of the courtyard where you could cook out and relax by the pool and hot tub. It was very well maintained! The property owners really make sure to keep everything immaculate! We felt like there was plenty of room for both of us in the condo. We saved a lot of money by cooking at the property! There were plenty of items to use in the condo and besides the usual items, there were two beach chairs, coolers, snorkel gear, and other water toys. The bed was very comfortable as well. Joann was very kind and very easy to work with. If we had a question, she always answered in a timely manner. I would totally recommend this beautiful condo! It is as exactly as described in the listing and the pictures. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Joann for a wonderful experience!

We arrived at the property about 7:30 pm and we were pretty excited to start our vacation together. The condo was easy to find, parking was plentiful and getting in the door and settled was quick and easy.
In the morning we were greeted with the best view in the entire complex:.
The bed was very comfortable, well appointed kitchen, bathroom was all you could want. Really didn’t need anything from home except some food and drinks.
We enjoyed ourselves there; so close to restaurants, shopping, the pier (couple of excursions booked prior to coming to island).
The pool, common area (tables, lounge chairs, and grills) were cleaned and disinfected every morning. The whole complex was beautiful with flowers/ trees well taken care of and we shared our lanai with a pair of geckos almost every morning..
Would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay on this side of the island of Hawaii.

Our stay was storybook. Couldn't ask for a better location...walking distance to town. The oceanfront view was amazing. Joann was over the top supplying everything one might need plus more.
We would highly recommend her condo for anyone wanting to experience the Hawaiian paradise.

The condo was just like advertised.
We had one small issue but the host (joann) took care of it quickly.
Joann was excellent in making our stay very comfortable.
The only thing renters should know is that its on third floor..
If we go back to the big island would stay again.
Also Joann as the condo stocked with everything you will need including coolers and snorkeling gear...

Good location, and host is responsive. POSITIVES: ocean view. Excellent decor, and Negatives: inadequate lighting at night. Condo is dark. No Elevator.
Under microwave lamp bulb burned out.
Bathroom hall lights don't work
Silverware drawer sticks
Dishwasher not cleaning pots pans. Should provide scotchbrite cleaning pads and dish soap. If anyone truly cooks, the cleanup is more than this machine can handle.

We stayed at this property for a week. It was exactly what we needed; comfortable king bed, smart TV with access to our Netflix and Amazon Prime shows, large kitchen to accommodate our vacation gluttony, a very comfortable couch, and the best third-floor lanai view of the community pool and ocean beyond that one could hope for. Joann was just a phone call away for any concerns or needs we may have had. This condo will be our go-to option for future trips to Kona.

My husband and I just returned home from our 2 week glorious vacation. We cannot rave enough about the property, the condo, or Joann! The condo is close to everything and you could walk to Lona Town if you wanted. It has everything in it you could need or ask for including, beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels etc. The condo is comfortable and has an awesome view of the ocean. The lanai is a perfect place to watch the sunset. Joann is very responsive if you have any questions at all, but the binder she has put together with all the information about the condo and Kona itself is great. It’s like having a concierge service at your finger tips.
The hubby and I will be back to her beautifully decorated condo in the future!

The title says it all. The condo itself, along with entire Sea Village are very close resembled as "resort living." This is the forth time that my wife and I has visited Hawaii using VRBO rentals and this is by far the best rental property we've stayed in. Incredible view from the lanai, huge kitchen for great cooking and perfect location for couples on the go. Want to explore the island along with Resort-like living? This is the place. Highly Recommended!

The location was ideal for our purposes. A very short drive to town and the beaches. Can walk to town if you don't mind a bit of a hike. Bike share kiosk right across the street if you don't want to walk or don't want to mess with parking.
The unit had everything we needed and felt much better than a studio. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Everything went as we hoped.

The condo is very nicely furnished and equipped. The bed was great and everything we could possibly want or need was there. The only downside was that it was very hot while we were there and there is no AC. It generally cooled off a bit at night with windows open and fans going. The pool and hot tub were very nice and the view is terrific. We will definitely recommend this place to friends.

We spent hours on the lanai enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean. The condo was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect, close enough to town to walk in but far enough away for privacy. We would definately stay here again.

We enjoyed our week here in Kona, comfortably based out of the Sea Village condo #2303. Everything was just as advertised, and Joanne was really easy to work with. We really loved having morning coffee and evening drinks on the lanai, watching the waves and hearing the ocean. And on our last night, I saw the legendary “green flash” from the lanai!
The condo has everything you need, including beach gear, and laundry. It is immaculate, but not fussy.
We also liked having Green Flash Coffee right next door. Those folks know their Kona coffee!
One comment: the bedroom is on the street side of the building, and you will hear the traffic on Alii Drive. We found it to be in the “white noise” category, but it is noticeable.
This is a great condo, and we would recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo! It has been very nicely updated and was clean, organized and had a great view of the courtyard, pool and ocean! Everything was smooth in terms of coordinating the rental, paying and receiving the damage deposit back quickly.
This time of year was very warm (87 every day) so we did need the AC in the bedroom. It would be great if it had AC throughout, but at least in the bedroom it is so important during this time of year.
The WiFi code wasn't correct, but we are able to get it from the building managers and it was very handy to have for the internet and email.
We really unplugged and enjoyed the Big Island. I would highly recommend this unit, this island and working with the owner. We will be back!

Our stay at The Sea Village was perfect! The condo was clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully stocked. It was a great location for walking to town, and we loved the lava rocks and sea wall perch just beyond the pool. Pictures from the lanai look like a postcard. Perfect week...for us, perfect place. Enjoyed our stay here. Everything was labeled and clean; lots of amenities. Nice view of the pool, spa, grilling area and ocean. We had an issue with the toilet and it was fixed promptly. Great communication and follow up with the owner. We had to go downstairs to watch the sunset as we couldn't see it from our lanai; I guess certain times of the year it is not visible. It was nice having AC in the bedroom and movies to watch. We were able to log into our Netflix and YouTube accounts from the TV so that was a plus!

My girlfriend and I spent a week in the condo in April of 2017 and couldn't be happier. The first morning we saw a pod of about 30 dolphins right from the patio! Also the condo supplied all the things that we could need, including in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and also beach supplies. The complex was great, had a wonderful pool and BBQ area, and was a short walk to all of Kona. We will be back and would be so happy to stay in this unit again.
