The living room at Kona Reef F11 flows out to a private lanai, where guests can sip their morning coffee, enjoy a leisurely lunch, or linger over an open-air dinner while staring at the sea. The Kona Reef community also offers an oceanfront, heated, saltwater pool, as well as a spa, barbecue facilities, and plenty of secure parking.
A short pathway through the gardens leads to stunning, sandy Honl's Beach. Just south of town, Kona Reef is a short one-block stroll from all the restaurants, nightlife, and shopping of renowned Alii Drive. Snorkeling, hiking, sunset cruises, manta ray dives, coffee farm tours, historic sites, horseback riding and other adventures are also nearby in this ideally located vacation destination.
***Please note that this property features a window unit A/C in the living room that is designed to cool the entire unit. However, with the bedroom door closed it prevents the air conditioning from reaching said area***

The view every morning was absolutely amazing. The kitchen and bathroom was updated and nice. It would have been nice to have had an air conditioner in the bedroom, but everything else was great. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. The pool was always nice at the end of the day.

Loved the condo and the property. Perfect location to enjoy Kona. There is no on site manager for this unit. Just use the pass code, at the time your contract states. Property is clean. Next to a nice beach. Kona town is an easy stroll.

Good location within 10 minute walk of Kona. Nice pool right on the ocean. Good view of sunset every night.
All the gas grills were replaced while we were there which was nice.
Property mgrs were responsive when we needed a repair.
Negatives:
No overhead light over dining table. The table and chairs are very low as to make them almost unusable for a 6 foot person. We ate dinner on the Lanai every night which is ok.
No overhead fan or light in living room which many other units in Kona Reef have.
Very low water pressure in the shower.

We enjoyed our stay Kona Reef. The air conditioner was not working when we checked-in but the management company was very helpful and had it replaced the next day. The location to the downtown was great: only a ten minute walk to many restaurants and shops and we used the beach chairs to visit many close by beaches. We would definitely stay there again!

We loved our vacation rental! The condo provided many things that were so useful- beach chairs, a small cooler, snorkel gear, boogie boards, etc. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. A beautiful view and a very comfortable bed. Kitchen was well stocked with all we needed, and it was clean.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, kitchen stocked well for preparing meals and very clean. The property was quiet, the pool was nice place to relax and the beach right in front of the property was wonderful. Bonus to this place ~ surfers right out our window every morning and evening. They were really good and a lot of fun to watch. Sunsets each evening were lovely. Quiet, romantic and relaxing for sure.

This is near the heart of Kona, but far enough away from the main crowd and noise. Walk 10 minutes, is better than driving. Washer/dryer was a plus.

Great condo very accurate to pictures. The bedroom is near the road and I am a light sleeper and woke early to garbage trucks and early morning traffic.
Other than that the location was great. Beach next to property, pool was nice, restaurants and shopping witching a short walk.

This condo is in an absolutely ideal location, easy walking distance to nearly everything in old town Kailua-Kona. The unit was spotlessly clean and well furnished. Kitchen had all items anyone would want and bed was sublimely comfortable. All linens and towels were good quality and clean. Common pool area is convenient and well maintained. We enjoyed the stay very much and would certainly book future stays in Kona at this unit.

The condo was clean and well-maintained. The view was overlooking the pool and of the ocean beyond. We even saw a whale breach from the lanai! Parking was available on site. First off, the property management company was very pleasant to work with. We needed to have an early check in and they were able to accommodate us right away when we landed in Kona. Prior to your trip, they will also provide you a list of suggestions on what to do in Kona which was very helpful.
The property itself was exactly as it was described. It was very clean.
The view of the ocean was the very best part of the condo. The only con was the pool was not available due to some renovations being made to it. (This was disclosed when we booked) But what I did not think about was the noise of the machines and pounding. They worked during the day so that was ok , just invaded a little into the tranquility of the mornings sometimes. However it did not change the fact that we were breathing in that wonderful ocean air daily. One other slight con was the couch in the living room. The cushions I felt could be replaced or deep cleaned.
The condo came with everything you possibly needed...from essential spices and a stocked kitchen full of pots, pans, etc if you were going to cook, to laundry pods for laundry, to fresh Kona ground coffee beans, and beach equipment (chairs, boogie boards, snorkel stuff, etc.). It was the perfect place to enjoy your vacation. We were there for 8 days and it felt like home. The front room has the air conditioner but the bedroom did not so it was a little warmer there. There was a ceiling fan though and they also had a stand up fan that could be used. I suggest reading the contents in the binder provided in the kitchen to understand how to work the television. It was a little different, but the instructions were straight forward and we did not have to call the property manager to work it. The binder also has so many different suggestions of places to visit, eat, and things to do!
The condo is located within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants along Ali'i drive. There is a small beach outside of the condo that is easily accessible, but it is not really swimmable. There are lots of rocks. If you took the trolley a few miles up, you could get to the Magic Sands beach that is swimmable. It is a little on the smaller side though.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would come back to book again if available. It was like a home away from home.

Great views! Great location to walk to shops and restaurants. Would have liked to have the pool done with renovations. Very nice clean condo. We would definitely stay here again. Only other thing is it would be nice to have a ceiling fan in living room.
