The room was great, with spectacular views of Diamond Head and the ocean. The unit is close to the Waikiki beach, well within walking distance, and to the main shopping area. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed. The only con was that the a few of the appliances seem to be very dated such as the oven and iron, and the bathroom and kitchen could use a refresh. Other then those truly minor things the room was awesome and the views spectacular, will definitely stay again.

Just the right size for our 2 adults and 1 small child. Very convenient to have a full kitchen and separated room for the little one for naps and bedtime. Bathroom is directly connected to the bedroom so if you have a little one it can be tougher if they are sleeping but for us not a deal breaker by any means. Great location and walking distance to the beach, shopping, transportation. For us, it was great to have more space than a hotel especially with an active toddler and to have essential food items. Communication was also stellar so would definitely recommend for all the above reasons!

No blanekts when I arrived. Took them 2 days to get me a blanket. Here on business, i was informed a full size ironing board would be present, what I found was a table top ironing board with a broken leg. They would not bring me a full size ironing board, the existing one was useless. The clothes rack for drying had a broken leg and could not be use. There were no ice cube trays, I bought some and left them in the freezer. The top of the refrigerator was covered in dust. The fan in the room did not oscilate, probably becasue the vents were covered in an inch of dust. I just checked out, I want to check my bags at the front desk, the front desk informed me since this is a VRBO, they will not check my bags. My flight is in 8 hours, where am I suppose to store my bags for a few hours? Nothing was stated on the VRBO site that said the hotel would not check my bags. I found the hotel employee at the front desk extremely rude. He was busy texting on his phone and obviously did not want to be bothered. I stayed here a year ago with VRBO and was able to check my bags no problem. I have another business trip planned here in the spring, I will not be staying at this place ever again.

This is our 4th time staying at The Waikiki Banyan and this unit was one of the best ones hot/string shower, comfortable bed, powerful AC(a little loud though), clean, nice furniture and spacious, great view(even better than the pictures!), a few nice amenities like a beach chair and buggy, plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen with coffee filters. The host was easy to work with. Definitely would stay here again. Love the Banyan!

Great place centrally located near so many things in Waikiki. It was great to have free parking, beach chairs umbrella, and ice chest. Beautiful view. Very comfortable for two. They also provided snorkel equipment. Highly recommend and would stay here again. Pool was under construction so that would be even nicer.

Amenities are very old and clearly the place has no one caring for it.Cleanness was not the best, upon check in there was hair everywhere. Bed is extra uncomfortable. Towels and sheets with make up stains.Air conditioning is super duper loud. It feels like there’s a trash truck in your ears all night, which didn’t let us sleep at all. On top of that the AC broke down and the place became a sauna. We were literally burning in hell. Maintenance did absolutely nothing while we’re melting.I’ve stayed several times at the Banyan and the units are usually more upgraded and better. This one never again!

The location of the property is convenient and it's spacious for 2-3 people though the bathroom is a bit small. It's unfortunate that the pool of the property is under renovation and is not available to the guests.

The condo is exactly as pictured. The furniture is comfortable and the decor is lovely. We had everything we needed. It is an end room, so there is an extra window in the kitchen for viewing sunsets over the ocean. It was the perfect choice for us. The hosts were welcoming and responded promptly with answers. We booked the Banyan for almost a two week stay on Oahu and were extremely pleased with the location, the room, and the service. The location is just a couple blocks from the beach (less than 5 minutes on foot), with amazing views of Waikiki beach and the area. Views also included the Honolulu Zoo and Diamond Head. The free parking garage that’s included in this property is perfect. We estimated it saved us several hundred dollars in parking if we’d stayed at a location that offered only street parking. It was close enough to the beach without being right in the middle of all the chaos. The unit had a full kitchen, which came in super handy, as did the private patio. Daily breakfast our own little spot really gave us a great start to each day, offering much less hassle than having to go out into traffic to find a breakfast spot. Hawaii Kai and Hanauma bay are a short drive (15-20 minutes), roughly the same distance to the airport. Amenities in the room were great. The bed was comfy, and it was really nice having a separate living area from the bedroom.

The unit was just like the picture, everything was comfortable (bed, couch, bar stools). The view was awesome and just a short walk to the beach area (8 min). You could walk or take a uber/lift to shopping and restaurants and walk back. Nothing was too far, with 15-20 min walk. Communication was great, when I had questions before and during the stay the property management company responded quickly. I would absolutely stay there again.

We have stayed at this condo multiple times over the years. Being an end unit, facing south, not only is the view great but the cross ventilation with the tradewinds makes for a very nice and comfortable stay. Two blocks to the beach for swimming, surfing, and snorkeling puts the cherry on top for a memorable visit. The owner is responsive and helpful from booking to checkout.
