Loved the kitchenette, though at the back of fridge some of the veggies froze. Maybe the dial needs to show perfect setting. Loved the interior, very pleasant decoration, many drawers and closet to hang clothing. The parking spot #6 was ideal next to entrance to the elevators. Friendly front desk. Could not have asked for more, 1/2 block from the ocean at the more quiet end of Waikiki Beach

The condo has great view of the beach and the city. It was very clean and with great decor. The beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were in great condition and were super helpful whenever we headed to the beach, which is literally only a 5 min walk. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and fridge had plenty of space. The elevators were fast and we never had to wait more than 1-2 min for it. Parking was easy. We had a smaller SUV (Highlander) and it was great, a bit tight to park but good. Anything bigger than that, like a Tahoe, Expedition or Yukon, it would definitely be super tight if not impossible to park. Lifted SUV or lifted truck would probably not fit in the parking garage. The pool and the recreation area of the condo was under renovation, so we didn’t get to experience. We were a little bummed out since we didn’t get to be in the beach too much due to the second wave of the Kona Storm hitting the island. I wish that the dates of the pool renovation was disclosed somewhere on the listing. Nonetheless, we had a great time. Lots of restaurants and fast food places nearby. Linens provided were great, the shampoo, body wash and conditioners were also great and smelled so good! We will definitely consider coming back here in our next Oahu trip.

Linen, towels and floor mat smelled mildewed, musty and dirty which caused allergic symptoms. We washed the linen, towels and floor mat but all of the odors were not removed. We left 4 nights early.

It was a good experience. The owner was very responsive. I had a problem with the refrigerator acting up. It turned out the fan was dealing with ice. I contacted the owner and got a quick servicing which fixed the problem. Including parking was very helpful

We enjoyed the condo, always like to stay at the Waikiki Banyan. The condo was clean, had a few missed things but not a big deal. One suggestion would be to add a basin to wash dishes or have a stopper so we can fill the sink. The pictures show a nicer quality of dishes etc than were there, but there was everything we needed. Didnt get much communication from the host other than regarding payment and check in/ check out procedures.

Everything about our stay at this property was great! Parking included, which was super easy and never had trouble. The location was perfect for a quick walk to Waikiki beach and food locations. The room was spotless and perfect for 2 adults and 2 kiddos.

We were advised by Vrbo to submit a review of the details of the events of our shortened stay and cancelled reservation.When we arrived the first afternoon, Marilyn met us at the hotel, provided a parking pass and showed us the condo, which was a favorable experience. The island was experiencing a severe “Kona Low” storm, and by evening the wind was blowing water, accumulating on the outside balcony, into the living roomed from under the AC penetration on the floor, until we block it with beach towels. The next day the power went out in the local area, including local restaurants, stores, and venues, and with storm surge on the beaches, there wasn’t much of anything to do or anywhere to go. We didn’t mind the severe rain and umbrella destroying winds, being a very different experience of Mother Nature than our previous island stays. But without power the local area was shut down, and we were unable to cook or refrigerate food, access internet, or charge our cell phones and computers. That night we were evacuated from the Waikiki Banyan due to water reaching the main electrical feed, currently still under repairs.We seldom purchased travel insurance, but opted for the Generali Global Assistance Insurance offer through Vrbo, and the host has been helpful to quickly provide all documents required to file the claim. Since this Vrbo hose only offered to provide a credit for a future stay instead of financial reimbursement, we strongly recommend insurance for stay at this condo

Our host went above and beyond when an unforeseen circumstance arrived due to an infrequent storm situation. The place was lovely and as advertised in the photos. I would highly recommend both this listing and host. We would return again in a heartbeat.

Both couches were visibly dirty and stained! The shoer/tub drain was clogged and did not drain well casing to shower in dirty water everyday. Emailed the property management company who got back a day later saying they were going to send a plumber out and never did! Extremely disappointed because the location was amazing but the upkeep on the apartment was not up to par and very poor for a rental unit. Will not stay there again and will question Vrbo moving forward!

The condo was ideal for our family of four. It was clean, well-appointed, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials. Monique went above and beyond by providing additional amenities for a beach day, including chairs, an umbrella, two coolers, and beach towels. Proximity to the beach was ideal. It was a 5 minute walk to a kid-friendly beach and minutes away from the main strip of Waikiki. We also appreciated the availability of a playpen and stroller, which were especially convenient for our toddler. The included parking was a big plus since street parking is not great. Overall, we loved our stay at Waikiki Banyan.

My wife and I had a month's stay in Feb. at Jeff's unit and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there: clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities. (Even a shower chair for us seniors). It afforded a central location in Waikiki and had the bonus of free parking. Highly recommended.

The views of Diamond Head and the ocean were amazing, we have stayed at the Banyan numerous times and this by far has the best views being an end unit with windows on 2 sides.The amenities of the unit were perfect along with the beach chairs & umbrella. The check-in was so easy by gaining directly to the unit and using the keypad.Thank you so much

Condo very noisy. Air conditioner very noisy and not consistent temperature. The shower is terrible with changing temperatures from super hot to super cold water. No vacuum to clean the area rug which is in need of a good vacuuming.

unfortunately the weather caused severe disruption to our stay, with two building evacuations/fire alarms and several power outages ultimately causing us to have to move out. fortunately, our host was excellent with communication and reaching out to us to offer another available property to move into. the banyan building is older and in the midst of all amenities being remodeled. we were disappointed to learn that we not have access to any recreational amenities like pool, spa, courts and bbq’s after we were already booked and paid for.having said that, the property was very well stocked with all sorts of cookware and beach gear (towels, chairs, umbrellas, small cooler). the bed was comfortable, the lanai was nice, the window a/c and fans functioned well and the little extras like foil, spices, and plenty of paper products were very appreciated. we utilized the full kitchen including blender, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, stove and oven and had plenty of room to freeze water bottles and store leftovers in the full sized refrigerator.the furniture and pots and pans could use a deep cleaning, but overall we were very happy with the space and all the conveniences. the parking was easy and perfect for us to come and go as we pleased.

Having a parking pass was the biggest perk of this property. It was just a couple of blocks to Waikiki beach and the view from kitchen window was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub area were being renovated and that was the biggest disappointment but would have been great! Communication with the host was timely. The building had a false alarm that sent us out of the unit approximately 30 minutes after arriving and we were out of the building for approximately 45 minutes or so! Got to meet some of our neighbors! The unit was well stocked for beach items needed, too.

Great accommodations for 2. Excellent location, 2 blocks to the beach and everything else, from groceries to restaurants to surf rentals. Very comfy bed with a great selection of pillows Easy checkin and communication with Monique. Couldn’t use the pool as it’s under construction BUT knew this when I booked, don’t think the price reflected it though. The shower spout needs to be replaced to ensure good water shower pressure. Talked to Monique about it 3/26/26Convenient, 1block away (Marriott), we paid to store our suitcase on checkout day as our flight was 10 hrs later, this worked out great!! 8 per suitcase/bag.

We had a terrific stay at this condo. The place was clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfy! Everything one would need to cook was provided. Dishwasher was a plus. Loved the views from the lanai. Great location, one block to the beach. The Public transportation (The Bus) was at the corner. We rented a car for part of our stay and having free parking was a big plus. Overall, we were sad to leave and hope to return!

The proximity to the beach was excellent. The ability to park in it parking garage was also nice. The first part of our stay was fine but the last night was terrible. There was a security breech in the building. That was followed by 2 emergency alarms in the middle of the night. We've never received any explanation to why.

This place was super clean. We had eveything we needed. We cooked all our meals in the room. Everything worked well. You can see the beach from the balcony, it’s a short walk to the beach. I loved that it had the bathroom and sink separated. The parking pass was amazing otherwise it’s 50 a day to parks.

Aside from the fact that the pool is currently closed at this the facility until the summer of 2025, this was an absolutely amazing stay! We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and I’ve never stayed in a condo this nice. The view was incredible. The accommodations were very up-to-date. We eat really love the Toto bidet! We’ll definitely stay here again in the future!

Gorgeous view, (very high up if that’s an issue for you )….nice part of Waikīkī, not as crazy busy as the central parts. If you plan on doing walking it’s a great location with lots of options.Hosts are very responsive if needed. We didn’t rent a car, but the included parking option will be great if you do! (From past experience that’s a hefty cost)
