We absolutely loved our stay! My family of 4 with two small children were very comfortable during our week long stay. The kitchen amenities were wonderful, loved the view, it was all super clean, and walking distance to Waikiki beach, shopping, and tons of restaurant options. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Good location to go to UH. Property was in relatively good condition. Minor issues that management could resolve: Cleaners didn’t clean the toilet and unfortunately it was obvious. Neighbors smoked on their deck and it blew into the unit. Shower soap dish fell off the wall. Ice cube trays in freezer are cracked and leak - ongoing problem obviously because there’s ice on the bottom of the freezer. Overall was happy to stay there and would definitely stay there again.

I was either in bed sleeping or on the balcony enjoying the view. I never use the air conditioner because the winds are so beautiful on the 26 floor, only a couple of hours of direct sunlight, which I prefer. cooked most of my meals at home kitchen set up was fabulous, bed was comfortable, pool and hot tub utilized daily. never had a problem with parking space, Sometimes on the weekends, it can get a little crazy going in and out of the place but I avoided those times…place was clean and open. Would so skyway here again. I love the Mountain View best….good communication with manager.

Room is nice with kitchen upgrades. Was represented as having a pull out couch in the living room which was not correct but we made due. Bathroom needed some cleaning but everything is provided so we did it ourselves. Room comes with everything you need for your trip in the kitchen and also beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards etc. We were pretty happy overall and would probably stay here again.

Overall, this apartment was pretty good, offering a good view and location. Unfortunately, the building was under construction when we stayed there, and one day there was so much noise that we had to get out. If we had known about the construction, we would not have booked this property. There was a fire alarm at 2:30am on our first night, ruining our sleep. The furniture was stained and smelly, and the bathroom faucet was defective (low water pressure, difficult to move). Some of the glassware was not clean. The site manager was very responsive to our complaints and offered some compensation for our trouble, which was much appreciated. On the plus side, the beds were pretty comfortable, and the unit was quiet at night. I'd recommend this property if the items listed above were remedied, and if the construction was completed.

The manager, Byron, was really quick to respond when we had a few minor questions and check in was easy. The property is a little dated and the chair with an ottoman could do with freshening up but the place was clean and we had everything we needed. The hallway is being renovated but that didn’t bother us. The Banyan is no frills and very convenient, especially the free parking. The parking, like so much of Honolulu is tight, but if you park carefully, it’s manageable. We had no issues with Covid restrictions or issues and all guests honored the 4 people to an elevator rule. The pool is nicely heated which is good as the afternoon sun moves around 4:00. Just be aware that you now need to book grill time and it’s coin-operated. We didn’t use the grills this time but have done before and they’re cleaned regularly. We prefer this quieter end of Waikiki and would walk around the shops before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the mask scofflaws. It’s a different type of tourist at the moment who aren’t as respectful of the fact that they are guests of the state. Please remember that local people live and work there to make your experience pleasant and please be considerate!

Location was excellent. Great view of the mountain. Could use some tlc in the apt. Some doors were sticky in their track, garbage disposal was noisey, bathroom sink drain cover got stuck either up or down. Completely livable though. AC was fantastic!

It is an older condo, but it was perfect for our needs, decorated well, and kept up well. It is about three blocks from the beach, an easy walk!

A very nice size for my daughter and myself. Few places had a this was appreciated.Lovely view and great kitchen. One issue..dividing foldable wall between living room and bedroom is difficult to move so we picked a spot and left it there all week. Bathroom could use a bit better cleaning..and perhaps a new fan. Bed frames have very pointed corners so got a few bruises...but beds comfortable..would give it a solid 4/5. That view...wow..

This rental is in a great location. It has an awesome view of the mountains. It is a very short walk down to the beach & restaurants. The internet did go down. We finally got the management to bring a replacement modem but we don't know why it took over 24 hours.
