My fiancé and I loved this place! It was in a great location. Several beaches, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. The size of the studio was perfect for the two of us. Our favorite thing to do was drink our morning coffee out on the lanai while watching the chickens and looking out to the ocean. The bed was a little on the firm side but we didn’t mind it because we were so tired at the end of each day. Overall we would definitely recommend this place to friends and family visiting Kauai!

This place had everything we needed for our 5 night stay in poipu. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was in the perfect location to serve as our home base for our time exploring Kauai. The place was well cleaned except for some of the kitchen cabinet handles that were sticky, but quick to wipe down ourselves. There is a snorkel gear rental place right across the street, and beach access with lovely snorkeling! We even saw several sea turtles! We would love to stay at this condo again if we are lucky enough to return to Kauai!

We explored the whole island and Prince Kuhio was the perfect home base for us. Speaking of home, this property feels very homey. We loved being able to cook fresh, local fish and veggies we picked up each day. And, no matter what part of the island our daily adventure took us to, we were still able to visit the sea turtles and buy shave ice from Waikomo (except when Waikomo was closed...but we still visited the turtles).

This condo was across from the ocean with a decent snorkeling area and a good (albeit expensive) restaurant. The condo was well-furnished and comfy enough for our needs. The remote control did not work and the staff never replied to my email, so we didn't get to utilize it. It worked one day, but navigating the cable vs tv parts was incomprehensible. I suggest they move to the Netflix/Amazon Prime/Hulu options instead, plus respond to emails from their customers.

The property and pictures are described as they are. Great location. Perfect sized little kitchen. Everything was clean. The pool was very nice and well taken care of. Right across the street from the beach. It's a small beach area and very Rocky so not the best for swimming, but certainly good for any board activities.
My only complaint would be what others have mentioned, the air conditioning. We realized in Hawaii that it's just a difference in culture. In general on the island I found the AC very lacking. Even malls were "outdoor malls" that require no air conditioning. Being from Canada, this took some getting used to. But the room was kept cool by the Ac unit, it was just very loud and unfortunately right next to your head.

In addition, evidently the cleaning people did not clean the floor; my feet were black after taking a shower. Finally, although the kitchen was well stocked and clean, there was no dishwasher.

This condo is excellent - new inside and very clean. Has almost everything you’ll need. I’ll provide the review I wish I read before coming here: first, definitely park in the garage as close to the building as you can. We walked around with armfuls of things for way too long before we could determine where exactly the location was. Take the path to the left and up the stairs and it’s right there on the corner. Also, maybe we are slow but we didn’t realize the keypad with code was INSIDE the “screen” door so we pecked away at the key lock box out side the door for an embarrassingly long time. Condo is amazingly well stocked - the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. There are two beach chairs, two coolers, an umbrella, plenty of TP, napkins, paper towels, Clorox wipes, ziplock bags of all sizes, tin foil… basically every single thing you’d ever want or need is there. The one thing they don’t provide is beach towels. So bring your own of those. There is also shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We left some sunscreen under the bathroom sink. The view isn’t to die for but that was not a big deal to us. This condo is the furthest from the street you can get. The bed is pretty comfy but the pillows were way too soft for us. That is just preference thing. Also coffee maker is drip, filters provided so bring your own ground coffee from a local market. They also have a vacuum, broom, cleaning products, etc. awesome place just made better with a few tweaks you should know before! 9.5/10

Unit 320 could use some updating (especially the carpeting in bedroom), but overall it was clean and well stocked. Enjoyed having the beach chairs and cooler. Pool is great!

We had a great time and would recommend this property. The complex is just down the road from Poipu beach (5-10 minute drive) and away from the touristy hustle and bustle of that area. The grills and pool in the complex are very nice and we cooked a few meals with no complaints. The property itself is very clean and perfect for two people. We visited in November and could get a very nice breeze at night opening all the windows and leaving the sliding door partially open. We used the boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and beach towels every day at Brennecke’s or Poipu beach.

Great location, seamless check-in, very clean and beautifully appointed. Kitchen was very well stocked and great for cooking. Bedroom was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Loved our mornings on the lanai watching the day unfold with stunning sunrises, breathtaking ocean and mountain views, and sounds of the waves. The grounds were beautiful and the roosters wandering in the adjacent park were delightful to watch and listen to. Sunsets just across the road were gorgeous. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, Spouting Horn and beaches. Lawai Bay cross the way was great for snorkeling. Would stay here again and highly recommend PK 201.

The pool and main building were well cared for and clean.
The unit its self was a major disappointment.
Built in 1969 and it shows in this unit. could see little if no updates. Poor lighting in the shower/Kitchen and extension cords through out. Pink tile counters
Misleading were the pictures' and the description. This was described as a 1 bedroom but was actually a small studio. There was no bedroom, We would not have rented this unit if we had known that it was not a 1 bedroom.

Location was perfect and some of our highlight included access to a variety of services including parking, pool and garden area (we loved), restaurants and shopping, beach, view, and so forth. This condo is in a great location. Makes getting to see the island and beaches convenient. It’s clean and well stocked, and we really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrellas and swim gear. The decor, fixtures and furnishings are extremely dated and worn. The condo also has electrical issues when trying to use kitchen appliances. The owners were helpful, but some money spent on renovations and updates would make it more enjoyable.

We arrived around 4:00 to check in. We’re new to the VRBO experience so we needed a bit of “help” getting in. I contacted John about access. He had already sent us that info! The unit was exactly as described. The shower/water pressure and temp were perfect for two weary travelers! The king bed was perfect; we slept super soundly. The view from the lanai was wonderful… sleeping to the sound of the wind and waves was devine. Again, we are new to VRBO and required a few back & forths with John & Carol who were wonderfully helpful and accommodating. We would absolutely return and recommend this rental to others! Aloha!!!
