We had a wonderful stay! The condo was across the street from Lawai Beach and close to shops and restaurants. The unit itself was well stocked with necessities for cooking, as well as beach supplies. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen remodel is terrific, the room is spacious and well-appointed, and the air conditioning is wonderful. We loved having the extra fan. Prince Kuhio is in a convenient location that allowed us to easily access Waimea Canyon, Old Koloa Town, the Beach House restaurant, and our boat tour. It is an older well-maintained property but do not expect a new flashy resort vibe. It is a solid property that is a good value in a good location.

Spent 3 nights in Kauai. This was a great place to stay. If we had more time would have used the pool. It looked very nice. The efficiency was perfect. The bed very comfortable. Sheets soft and smooth. Nice shower and towels. Kitchen was sufficient except for the coffee pot. Cold fridge. We were in a hurry and didn’t want to figure it out. No problems with our stay. Would stay again.

Colleen & Mike’s condo is in the perfect South side location in Kauai. The cool breeze when the slider and windows were open was always very pleasant and just what we needed. We never turned on the AC. At sunset we’d either walk over by the Beach House (a 1 minute walk) to see all the parrots fly in for the evening or take a 6 minute drive to Poipu Beach to see the turtles resting on the beach. Besides a great location, the condo has a very comfortable king size bed, a large walk in shower, and a full kitchen, less a dishwasher. Also came with beach chairs, ice chests, and towels. We would rent again when staying on the South side!

What a lovely location in Poipu! The condo was comfortable, bright and perfect for our stay! The sunrises in the morning from the balcony were beautiful.We had everything needed to enjoy the beach - umbrella, chairs, towels and even a snorkel. We didn't cook or BBQ but the kitchen was stocked to accommodate your needs.The beach is right across the street or you can drive a mile down the road to Poipu Beach to enjoy the turtles that come onto the sand to bask in the sun.Riptide - a little kiosk a short walk from the condo has great shaved ice!It's easy to go to Kaua'i but very hard to leave!Mahalo for sharing your relaxing condo with us - we hope to return soon!!

I loved the condo. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the condo had been updated from the pictures we had seen on VRBO. The roosters crowing could wake you up earlier than you wanted but they were very entertaining to watch.

Kitchen has most everything for cooking - a few ice trays would of been nice. Beautiful view from lanai - however it's standing room only. Pool great and garden landscape was so beautiful.

Perfect little room for a couple to get a way with beaches close by. Air conditioning was a must have this week and we were very grateful to be sleeping cooler than our friends who had rented other units. When the water is calm in the morning the spot in front of the beach house is a great place to snorkel. Views from the upper units were slightly nicer but it really is helpful to be on the ground level! We will definitely try and stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay on Kauai and it has a lot to do with this beautifully renovated condo. From the booking process til check out everything was easygoing and uncomplicated.The entire place (garden, pool, BBQ-spots, parking lots) was very well maintained and impressive. We have stayed in Poipu before, but this is by far the best place. We loved falling asleep at night listening to the crashing waves and wind through the palm leaves. We were able to sleep with all of the windows open at night. The view is amazing. And the sunrises! I couldn't tell where the Earth ended, and Heaven began. We do wish the balcony was a bit larger, but no complaints. We could get 2 chairs out there, it's just a bit tight. The grounds are beautiful, and so well maintained. The beach chairs and cooler are a bit "used". But overall, the amenities were useful. We found out by day 4 that there is parking in the garage. So much easier to get in and out of. And shaded for a cooler car. Look out by the dumpster. Also, a garden hose for washing the "red dirt" off the car. We appreciated that! The owner was very responsive, and the communication was very good. No problems. I would DEFINITELY stay here again. Perfect for 2!

Stayed at Prince Kuhio for a little over a week. It was a great condo and a great location. We felt like we were at home there. The kitchen was great and stocked with many appliances and utensils needed to cook many of the meals that we made while there. The bed was super comfy. There is no AC, but that wasn’t much of a problem. We left the sliding door open in the bedroom to allow air to flow through until we heard the roosters. Then we’d get up and close it and fall right back asleep. And is located across the street from The Beach House Rest and Lawai Beach. We’ve not gone to the right of the restaurant several times. We took walks to Holoholo Grill, local shopping, and evening walk, going past the restaurant. On our evening walk, we brought a flashlight and saw crabs on the beach and other critters here and there. We had the greatest time and felt so relaxed and comfortable in this home! So thankful!

This property was perfectly situated whether you were sitting on the deck, going to the Beach House Restaurant, enjoying time on the beach, or driving short distances to shopping, beaches, coastal hikes, and points west! We enjoyed our stay very much. It was early May, but we were still happy to have the portable AC unit & used it. There is a small beach across the street that has really good snorkeling. You just need to watch for the rocks when getting in & out of the water on a windy day. The property was nice & a short driving distance to restaurants & Poipu beach. My only complaint would be that the shower is very small & the shower curtain was problematic, but nothing major. It was great that there was snorkeling gear & other beach items that had been left by prior guests that we were able to use. Almost everything is really expensive in Kauai, so just be prepared for that. Overall, we had a wonderful time & would definitely stay at this location again.

We had a great time in our ocean view condo. We couldn’t have asked for a better location; it was close to all South Island attractions. A beautiful beach across the road to watch sunsets & Baby Beach, great for snorkelling, was only about 200 meters down the road. Both the pool and gardens were immaculate. An outstanding experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The unit is nicely updated (all except the bathroom) and very cute and clean. Property management was great with communication and attentive to any needs. Unit looks out over a natural area but the ocean is visible from the lanai. Condo grounds are lush and beautifully maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

Did not feel our stay @ Prince Kuhio condos was worth what we paid. Also guess I didn’t read the fine print/NO AC:( Sleeping was tough with placement of the 3 fans provided, due to limited electrical plugs in bedroom. Condo itself was not a place you would want to spend much time in - other than bedroom, it was dark inside.
We ended up checking out day early due to no AC & condo community in general was a bit creepy.

We arrived a couple of hours prior to check-in time and really appreciate being given early access to the condo. The rental is situated in a great location, with lots of options in the area (shops, restaurants, beaches). We found the bed to be very comfortable, the condo well decorated, and the shower was amazing. The grounds and pool area are beautiful.Our first night staying in Poipu was very hot with no breeze, so unfortunately the condo was uncomfortable even with all the windows open and both fans going. Add to that the local roosters that make a lot of noise, and the fact that there is occasionally cigarette smoke that wafts up from people in the park below, it made for difficult sleeping conditions. Obviously none of this is the fault of condo, but it's still worth mentioning for those who are sensitive to heat, noise and smoke. The lack of A/C keeps the rental cost down, so this is the trade-off. We were relieved that the following evenings were cooler, and the temperature inside the condo was no longer an issue.It's worth noting that the balcony is less than one meter deep, so the two chairs face each other, meaning that only one person can face the ocean view. It's a bit awkward to get in and out, so we ended up not using it which was disappointing.

This was a centralized, great location for us. The check in process was a little confusing, due to my lack of knowledge; however, once we figured it out, then it was simple. It was a convenient location from the airport and to all beaches and places we wanted to visit. This was right across from The Beach House, which had great dinners and a beautiful sunset. Our only wish was that you had tumblers for making a drink to go watch the sunset, but other than that it was perfect!

This was a great location for us as a couple! The view was very pretty from the balcony and very convenient in location. It was well stocked with everything we needed! Just note if you are a light sleeper maybe bring earplugs as the roosters crow from 3:30am until mid morning, but that seems to be a common theme through the island!
