The sun rises were very spectacular, especially with a few clouds. Very nice unit, stocked kitchen with dinning and cooking needs. Little home away from home. Felt very comfortable. I booked this condo based on two key statements in the listing:** “You can see the ocean from every window (even the shower).”**The unit has a deadbolt lock for security.Neither statement is true.There is not an ocean view from every window.In fact, the only view of the ocean is from a single angle near the sliding glass door, and you must be seated facing that direction to see it. No other window provides an ocean view, including the bathroom. The bathroom window looks into the living room—not outdoors.Additionally, the unit does _not_ have a deadbolt, despite being advertised as having one. For someone traveling alone, especially an older guest, the absence of a promised security feature is concerning.

The condo was very clean but the floor could use a good mopping. The kitchen was well stocked (we cooked often). We were a party of three and there was enough room for us. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The laundry room on the premises was a huge plus. There was a nice shopping center half a mile away with a longs drug store, wonderful restaurants and nice stores to shop at.

The view from this condo is rare for the area because it’s next to a historic park with no development which gives this building an expansive view of both sea and mountains. The condo was very clean and nice. Working with the property management company was very easy.

This studio is the perfect stay for a couple. It was clean and well stocked. We were very comfortable here for a week. Every morning we could sit on our patio and watch and listen to the chickens and birds while we had our breakfast and coffee. The grounds and amenities at the condos are great as well. The gardens are so beautiful. The location was great for going to Lawai beach across the street and you can walk there. The host had beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella which was nice. It’s also close to shopping areas and other south shore attractions. The hot water in the shower was a little touchy but we figured out the trick to it. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely studio for 2. This unit is on the end, away from the street and up a flight of stairs, with gorgeous foliage all around the sweet little terrace. Nice sense of privacy. Easy walking to shops and beaches. Roosters on the island so remember earplugs!

If you are looking for a condo which looks and smells like the 60s then this is your place. Bugs everywhere. We shut all doors and as there is no AC, needless to say we had a miserable night. Kitchen was terrible. Glasses were dirty and had numerous water stains. Utensils were dirty and one knife handle had grease on it. The coffee maker was dirty. Refrigerator door was taped together with duct tape. Sheets had yellow stains which looked like urine stains. Comforter had dark stains on it. Throw pillows had numerous stains. Easy to see stains as pillow was gold. Weather stripping missing from front door, therefore, bugs in the condo. Both of us had bug bites after the overnight stay. Sliding screen had a patch to cover a hole. We were not advised there were 15 steps to reach the second floor. Extremely hard to carry large luggage. The balcony is about 2 feet wide and not nearly enough room for two adults. We have been visiting Kauai since 1984 as we have family who arrived Kauai in the 1800s. Booked thousands of dollars on different activities for 8 days. This is by far the worst place we have ever stayed. When we checked out the next morning, Jim Boitnott, one of the owners, called asking if we were moving out. His manager went to our condo and found there was no luggage in the room. Not once did he ask if there was a problem. He asked three times if we were going to be staying in the condo. It appears he was going to rent it out again.

We loved our stay at the Prince Kuhio condo. This unit is newly remodeled and is beautiful inside. The a/c works great and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great (walking distance from The Shops at Kukui'ula), convenient to many great restaurants (we recommend the Eating House and Lapperts Ice Cream), Poipu Beach (down the road) and Lawai Beach (also walking distance). We also enjoyed the nice pool.
