Having vacationed in Waikiki over the years I’d always wanted to stay here. I almost hesitate to say how great it is because it means more people will find this hidden gem. But our little slice of heaven was very quiet and filled with sunshine. The giant picture window in the bedroom and double sliding doors to the patio in living room provide a breathtaking view to the west and the sunsets. Easy access to the beach from a locked condo gate. I’d like to add if anyone travels alone. You’d enjoy the additional security here. Key fob to get in and a security guard on sight. This was a hidden gem of a condo. Great upgrades throughout the kitchen and the view was amazing. Much quieter beach then our friends who stayed just down at Waikiki Beach where it was chaos. We will be back for sure!

My wife and I had a great time, beautiful condo with large balcony to just sit and relax. Building is right off the beach. We loved getting up in the morning and walking to the private entrance to the beach to rent lounge chairs with umbrella and enjoy the great ocean views of Diamond Head.Terry and Outrigger staff were helpful and responsive. We would definitely rent again.

The view is the best! Especially with the doors open and breeze coming in. Watched the weekly Friday fireworks from the balcony. Kitchen fully stocked, even had salt, pepper, and coffee filters. Easy check in and out. Recycling available with concierge trash pick ups.

This is a beautiful unit right in the heart of Waikiki, within walking distance of everything! We spent 3 nights while attending my daughters graduation from UH and we will be returning later this summer with some friends as we loved it so much!

I had a very rough check in process. When I went to the lock box to get the key fob and parking pass, I found it empty. The Reality company that this is rented through does not have an emergency contact phone number so if you arrive later than their business hours you are kind of out of luck as far as contacting them. Luckily, the on site security guard (who is not affiliated with the company at all and did not have to help me) was able to make several calls and get in touch with the company who let me know that their maid service forgot to leave the keys in the lock box. Had he not found someones personal cell phone number, I would have not had a place to stay that night and possibly the next night since it was a saturday. VRBO put me on hold for over an hour trying to contact them and was unsuccessful. Once I got the keys the apartment was really nice to stay in and everything about the actual apartment was wonderful but I'm still quite frustrated with that situation. I travel to HI for work very often and would like to book this again but am very hesitant due to this situation.

Overall, this condo was an ok place for us to stay. However, it was quite dirty when we arrived. Ex. There were knats stuck to the roof of the shower, there was hair on the toilet, the trim was very dirty, marks all over the walls, etc. Batteries were low on the A/C remote, and one key fob was dead. It’s a great location with great features, but it wasn’t in the most satisfactory condition.

This trip was by far our favorite trip so far and this room was absolutely amazing! The property manager was excellent as well. The view is even better in person and it was nice to have the kitchen and laundry available. Would stay here again if we ever return!!

Not recommended for children!!I was so excited for this stay and on arrival the location was amazing, next to the beach, food, shopping and a pretty good view. Check in is a bit confusing, you have to pick up the keys at a seperate location and the directions were not clear. Luckily someone in the lobby of the pick up location was able to direcct us on where to go. Upon arrival the lobby and exterior are very nice and clean but after entering the unit was clear the place had not been cleaned in some time. There were stains on the furniture, walls, curtains and counters. The floors were covered in sand and hadnt been mopped in some time. The bedroom and bathroom windows are open air glass shudder style so you can hear all outside noise and this unit is on a low floor with another hotel and balconey about 50 feet away. Very noisy at night and it was difficult to get my toddler to sleep. On our 5th day, the parking pass stopped working and we could not get out of the parking lot. I had to call the property manager just to be told they hadnt made a payment that day so i could not use the parking, even though I was booked until the following day. After some argueing, they made the payment so i was able to leave but the same issue happened the next day resulting in a 95 parking fee (that i paid).Keep in mind this is a hotel but the unit is managed by a seperate company, so you are not allowed to use any of the hotel amenties.Overall not a great place!

This is a beautiful property. Very well appointed and maintained. Incredible location. You are literally in the center of the Waikiki action. Cocktails and appies on the balcony while watching the sun go down is epic. Walking out the property backdoor to feet-in-the-sand is convenient. No time wasted traveling to the beach.

The Condo was exactly as pictured and described. Waikiki Shores is in a perfect place, you are steps from the beach. The condo was furnished lovely, all appliances looked new. The bed was so comfy! The balcony view was obstructed but you could peak through and see the beach. The elevator was not too busy and the check in and check out process went smoothy. It was stocked with trash bags, detergents and toilet paper. The only real negative thing I can think of - the ice trays/unit needs placed or just add a few more ice cube trays. I hope to come back to Hawaii in the next year or so and would stay here again. Mahalo

Nothing fancy but it was clean and comfortable. Reasonable price for the location, walking distance to many great restaurants and shopping areas. Wonderful spot to watch the Friday night fireworks. Check in process was a bit confusing. Check in at one location and then drive to a different location. There are two separate hotels operating in the same building which added to the confusion. It was wonderful having access to the adjacent hotels pool, restaurants and shops. Overall it was a positive experience.

I can’t say enough about the view! Beach, Ocean, Mountains, and the Sunsets were amazing. The fairy terns and green parakeets soaring over the treetops just below us made it even more magical. Eating on the lanai was one of the best parts of the day.The unit is well appointed and we wanted for nothing. The kitchen allowed us to prepare simple meals which were a welcome break from restaurant food.The local beach was nice, but reef shoes are advisable. The location is convenient to all Waikiki attractions whether you are walking or driving. The parking, which cost extra, was close by and easy to get in and out of. It is definitely worth it if you have a car.

The condo was perfect! We had an incredible stay for my family of four. The space was comfortable, well stocked, and the spectacular sunset view is unbeatable! The location is great and we were able to walk easily to restaurants, shops, etc. on Friday night, the view from the balcony of the fireworks was amazing. It was convenient also to have laundry in unit and a parking spot in the building garage for quick access. We would definitely recommend!

We stayed 8 nights and would not stay here again.
The air conditioning didn’t work the entire time, making the unit very uncomfortable, especially at night. Two technicians came on separate days but never fixed it, resulting in multiple nights of poor sleep.
The unit was also not properly maintained with dirty floors, ants and a clogged shower drain.
Check-in was poorly communicated, with key pickup at a different location that wasn’t clearly stated.
The location is good but that’s the only positive. Compensation was offered but was minimal and it did not reflect the level of inconvenience. There are better options nearby.
