The property was very central to everything; we enjoyed our stay. We had an incident with the smoke detector going off randomly we reported it to front desk, and nothing was done about it thru our stay. All in all, we had a comfortable stay

This cute apartment checks a lot of boxes: the king bed is comfortable, the location is unbeatable, parking is clearly marked and explained, the security of the building is good, and the views from the lanai are pleasant. The downside was only that birds love that lanai and made a tremendous mess. Despite that, we would love to return.

We loved our stay here. The views were beautiful of Diamond Head, the city skyline and of course the ocean! It was close enough to restaurants, shops and downtown so iit was an easy walk - yet we were out of the crazy business and crowds. The beds were comfortable, the living space open and airy. The large balcony was where we spent a lot time!!! Paul, the manager, was great!!! Very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!! The parking in the basement garage does require a vehicle smaller than an SUV or minivan.

Room was clean, well stocked and as advertised. Location was great. Views from the room were very nice! Parking was ok… don’t rent a large vehicle as the spaces are underground and very tight. The only downside was a lack of amenities. No pool, no gym etc. otherwise it was great! We would recommend to anyone with a family with older kids.

The location was wonderful, however very noisy. Parking was also a plus. The check-in process was a nightmare - it was not clearly stated that we had to walk several blocks (with the address being misspelled) to find the keys, and when we finally got there, the lockbox was empty. After four hours we finally got checked in (with the help of the front desk attendant who we're told not to ask for help...but we really had no choice). The unit was not very clean and sparsely furnished. The photo in the ad is clearly taken from some time ago. In spite of the unit, we enjoyed our stay in Waikiki.

We had the best location, everything that I had wanted. The rooms were very clean and just what we wanted. There was a problem with the sofa pull-out bed, though. When we unfolded it, it was sopping wet on the inside! And there were no bed linens for it. We called the check-in office and they brought over sheets and a blanket (but no pillow) and said they would figure out what to do. The next day they brought over a roll-away and that was just fine because the location was perfect!

Great place. You will not find a better bed. AND, the couch is comfy, and pulls out into a single bed. Perfect for people (multiple) on a budget- 3 people would fit nicely. Paul, the manager, got my mom a wheelchair from his own house for us to use. They are very accomodating. The water outside of the hotel is not very clear, but then any hotel in Waikik is not going to have absolute clear water - you'll need to go to a different beach for that as this island is not known for beach. Elevator and A/C very good. I'm SUPER picky on beds and travel all the time. This is the best stay ever for beds! Do yourself a favor and rent a car and park there (don't listen to people saying you don't need a car). The tourist shops will charge 3x just for transporation to the free Pearl Harbor. GREAT STAY.

This was one of the nicest condos we have ever stayed in! The view of the ocean, mountains, and the city were breathtaking. Everything we needed was stocked and ready to go including beach chairs, umbrellas, and even an ice chest. Highly recommend!

Kia was exceptional almost from the moment I pushed "Book". He called shortly after I booked the apartment to explain how things worked asked if we'd need parking, when our flight arrived to Honolulu & what the time difference was. The check in procedure was just as he described & couldn't have gone better. This was exactly how things proceded during our stay - well thought out & with easy communication. The apartment was just as described with an awesome location.

Amazing place to stay. We stayed here during the Kona storm and it was an awesome place to stay considering the weather and that our activities were very limited. The location is perfect and within walking distance to anything that your would need. Having the washer and dryer was a lifesaver with all of the wet laundry we needed to do.

This condo is well located with views of the ocean, on a wonderful beach, and near many restaurants. It is very clean and has everything you need for in home dining, quite a savings. The local ABC store has many necessities, and a deli for some local foods and drink options. We enjoyed the quiet of the hotel as well as the bustle of Honolulu, where we often stay for a few nights as we travel to vacation in Hawaii. As hosts ourselves, we highly recommend Kai and Martin, who are very communicative and respond well prior to and throughout your stay. We will certainly stay here again in the future. Awesome find!

We arrived during a Hilo Low. The Property Manager (PM) didn’t answer our calls, VMs, or texts. Messaged the owner/management company and also had no answer, finally reached him through worker at the property. Arrived to standing water inside unit (on 14th floor). I helped OM clean it up, he left. Also had no hot water. Next morning woke up to standing water inside sun room, dining room, kitchen and going down hallway. Messaged PM and host - no reply. I cleaned up water in dining room and kitchen as there’s an outlet in the floor. My husband saw PM in elevator, told him about water inside and he came to clean it - left the shop vac for us to continue cleaning ourselves. He took beach towels that I’d used that morning to clean and never returned them. He got hot water working in one shower, but next day a housekeeper fixed it for us in master bathroom shower as PM never responded to our request to fix it. We never heard from him again through remainder of stay. Also never heard from host until night before we left with leaving directions. Asked for refund due to issues and that was refused. The unit is beautiful and perfect location but don’t stay there in the rain or if you expect communication from the PM or host if you have any issues.

Fourth time staying in this building and first time in this unit. Perfect. Best unit so far. Brand new washer dryer, stunning view from not just the huge balcony but your kitchen sink and entrance door faces diamond head which is the opposite side. Towels are by the way super clean and great condition in this unit.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Waikiki Shore #1416. Our property manager was helpful, and our dealings with the Captain Cook Resorts office staff were all positive and prompt. We found the condo very comfortable with amazing views. It was clean and well maintained, the king-size bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner worked efficiently to keep the condo a comfortable temperature. In addition, we are happy to report that we saw absolutely zero pests, which is always a plus. Also, my husband and I appreciated that in addition to the bathroom, there was a separate area (just outside the bathroom), where there was a counter and mirror for getting ready in the morning, so we didn’t get in each other’s way. We were very happy with this condo, and we would happily stay there again. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!!

The studio was super clean and you could see it has been recently ’freshened’ up with a coat of paint etc. Bed was comfortable, view was excellent and having a kitchenette was fabulous. The table and high chairs on the lanai were fabulous and light enough to easily move around into the sun or shade, whichever way you preferred.
The bathroom is dated but most are in this complex. It was clean, just dated. Not a big deal for me, 10-15 minutes a day I spend in the bathroom…the view and the room make up for it big time! Next on the refresh list should be the blinds . Would I book it again, ABSOLUTELY!

I cannot rave about this place enough. Amazing views for sunset and Friday Fireworks. Steak shack, Acai bowls, and shaved ice just downstairs. Beach rental just right there too, with discount as well! Having our room just upstairs after playing the sand is so convenient! Outrigger hotel and other restaurants are nearby as well. We'll def come back here again and will be telling everyone about this place!
