Provided shampoo, laundry detergent, coffee, dish soap. Location and views were the best thing!

This was by far one of our best stays throughout our 2 week journey traveling the Hawaiian islands. The location and panoramic views of the ocean and diamondhead rival those of the fancy hotels nearby. The good: Kind and responsive host. Location (as long as you want to be in a busy city and deal with traffic to get elsewhere each day). Clean. Proximity to a lot of city options (food, clothes, gift shops, etc). Price seemed fair.
The not so good: traffic. The second bed/pull out sofa. I have had a pull out and it was much more comfortable. This one is not very sleep friendly - you feel the bar, springs, it makes LOTS of noise when you move, etc. RECOMMEN DATION if you do go there, put the mattress from the pull out sofa sleeper on the floor. Not classy, but we managed to sleep that way much better than when it was on the frame. If the host would improve the sofa, it would have met my expectations.

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending two weeks here for our 25th anniversary. This location was perfectly situated on Waikiki beach and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and more.
We had everything we needed, full kitchen, washer/dryer combo, lanai that has views of both the beach and the park. Randy had beach chairs, beach towels and snorkeling gear available in the room as well as some basic toiletries.
Parking is not included, but there is easy parking directly across the street for a reasonable fee.
Randy was responsive from booking through check-out, within minutes. All instructions for check-in, check-out, accessing things inside the room, etc. were easy to find and follow.
Highly recommend this location and we're looking forward to returning.

One small suggestion...replace cushions on lanai chairs. It was a bit uncomfortable sitting in the high chairs for a longer period of time, which is what one wants to do to take in the fabulous view.

Condo is very nice, plenty of towels and very clean. Check in was a bit rough as the keys and parking pass were not in the lock box. Security at the condo was able to let us in after making several calls. Lei Hawaii Realty did deliver the keys and parking pass that evening and reimbursed parking and gave a credit for the inconvenience. Rest of the week was great but still waiting for the security deposit to be returned as they said it will take 2 weeks for the cleaning people to check the condo.

First of all Tommy is a 5 star host, he communicates with you on everything and he’s a phone call away if you need something.
This property is amazing, the views are indescribable, I love the floor to ceiling windows that open all the way so you have no barrier to the beauty outside, the location is perfect it’s conveniently located by the Royal Hawaiian center, the main shopping area, lots of restaurants and beautiful shops. You do not need a car unless you want to explore the rest of the island, we walked everywhere in Waikiki. Also on the first floor you have steak shack which was a great meal for lunch or a quick dinner, banan which is ice cream made from banana (which my dairy allergy daughter loved) and tribal which served coffee and açaí bowls all conveniently located downstairs.
We used the pool and hot tubs next door at outriggers and it was no problem and super convenient with the walkway that crosses over from the first floor of the condo complex.
I would start and end my day sitting outside on one of the two balconies and the peace from listening to the waves and watching the surfers and boats on the water was exactly what I was looking for on this vacation. We would see sea turtles almost every morning off the living area balcony, we had a monk seal named kaiwi come up on the beach right next to the condo and rest for the day.
You will not regret renting the condo for your trip, I will definitely stay here again.

There were only 2 or 3 rolls of toilet paper.
Overall we would definitely stay there again. There were just some little things that could be improved on to make it have a more welcoming feel.

Overall the condo was good and the view was AMAZING! There is not a lot of cookware but it's sufficient for regular meals. We mainly cooked breakfast and was not lacking in what we needed. I'm only mentioning, in case anyone plans to cook specialty meals.
If renting this condo be aware that the second bedroom is connected to the living room, with 2 twin beds. It is separated by a partition, which is why I said family and/or friends. Based on the set-up, it may be awkward for 3 couples to share this space.
There are no beach amenities, and renting an umbrella and chairs can get rather pricey if you're unable to lay on the beach. I was traveling with my elderly mother and laying on the beach was not an option. Maybe the owner will think about purchasing 2 beach chairs to be used by the renters. If damage is a concern, possibly setting up a check out process with the property manager.
My family and I had a great time, and we would stay here again.

Three of us stayed in 702 Waikiki Shore for 6 days and absolutely loved the condo. We only wish we could have been there longer. The location is steps from the beach and all the shops and restaurants in the hotel district. The firm beds were just as we like them, the place couldn’t have been cleaner and Paul was readily available and responsive. Access to the storage unit allowed us use of beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler. There were even ice packs in the freezer. Not really a complaint, just an opinion, the light switches and toilet upgrades took a little getting used too. Another observation, there was no toaster so we used the oven’s broiler to make toast in the morning. Really, the place is fantastic don’t hesitate, book it!!

The location is nothing short of perfect - right on the beachfront, yet magically secluded from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki's busy streets. It strikes the ideal balance, offering proximity to the vibrant energy of Waikiki while providing a peaceful haven just steps away from the building.
The apartment itself is a tasteful blend of modern style and functionality. Clearly, a lot of thought has gone into its remodeling, creating a welcoming space that felt like a home away from home. It was evident that the owners have put effort into ensuring the apartment is not just aesthetically pleasing but also equipped with everything one might need during their stay.
Paul was helpful and communication with him was a breeze - prompt, clear, and accurate.
One of the highlights for us was the tranquility that enveloped the surroundings. Despite being beachfront, the absence of noise and crowds near the building added an extra layer of relaxation to our vacation. It felt like we had our own private slice of paradise, away from the more crowded parts of Waikiki.
In conclusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to stay again.

We wanted a place where we could see the beach from our balcony and be able to walk from our unit onto the beach. We didn’t need a lot of space, and The Waikiki Shores provided all we needed. We didn’t get to spend as much time taking advantage of the beach access and view as we would have liked due to our short stay and other excursions around the island. But we loved it and were able to rent a car from First Rental Cars, which is located only a few blocks away and provides free overnight parking. (You can rent cars at the airport for less, but you then have to pay high fees for parking garages nearby. So the location of Waikiki Shores and First Rental Cars was a perfect combination.) We were welcomed at the condo by Kai and Martin, and Martin gave us a detailed tour of the condo. The condo looks exactly like the photos in the listing. The balcony has mirrors on both sides which allow you to see views from all directions (but are a bit discombobulating when you keep seeing yourself in the reflection and think there is someone behind you! LOL). The unit doesn’t provide coffee, and there was only hand soap in the shower but under the bathroom sink were a variety of body washes, sun screen, and hair products left by previous tenants. So if you don’t bring your own, you are probably okay. The unit doesn’t provide any beach amenities such as lounging chairs, umbrellas, or body boards, but it does offer a small cooler with freezer packs. I would definitely stay there again.

We have been to Waikiki many times - at least two dozen - and stayed almost everywhere up and down the beach.
The "Penthouse" at Waikiki Shore is spectacular and one of the very best. The views are second to none and with three bedrooms and three bathrooms located steps from the beach with your own gourmet kitchen - it is hard to beat! The suite is full of fun "beach" touches to make it feel like home!
There are nicer, far more expensive places on the beach but being able to sit on the deck and enjoy our own home cooked breakfasts and lunches with spectacular ocean views and only steps away from all the best restaurants in Waikiki - we doubt if there is better place for a group of family and friends who love the ocean!

The room was better than advertised. The pictures are very accurate but in the closet it had beach chairs, a beach umbrella, 2 rain umbrellas, snorkeling gear, books and games. We were within walking distance of all the best restaurants and upscale shops. We opted to park our car on site so leaving/returning was very convenient. In the lobby there is a coffee shop, gift shop, snow cone stand and a place called the Steak Shack. During our stay a Monk Seal came up on the beach 4-5 days to sun itself and their were Sea Turtles off the pier often. We will definitely stay there again.

Trieu the host was wonderful and helpful with all questions and needs. Did get worried with a few delayed responses but pulled through to make it all work in end. Found 2 socks by back bedroom and knives and a plate in sink to wonder about deep clean but overall place was very clean and neat. Would have liked an easier check in process than meeting with him to get keys because did have to wait about 20 minutes on beach with our suitcases but understood why because of how to use the keys it was necessary. PLace had everything needed, coffee, kitchen items, cleaning items (laundry det.), soaps, shampoos, ample towels (beach too) and beach items from toys to chairs to umbrella! Beds were comfortable, cooling was great, location close to beach and city, view was incredible of both beach and city. Beautiful! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Trieu for your hospitality and use of your place, and extended time! It was great! Tips: Longs (CVS) is best place to get food/items verses ABC much cheaper as well as alcohol. Monkeypod right next door has happy hour 3:30- 5:30 drinks and food as well as The Yard House 2:00- 5:00 great prices and food choice and Tommy Bahama! The property was as pictured and fit my needs perfectly. Martin, who checked me in, was so helpful and kind. Kai, who communicated with me prior to my arrival, was also incredibly helpful, nice, and responsive. The option of paying extra for a parking space was a great asset, as parking in this area is otherwise challenging and expensive. The unit is a very good value for this area. It was wonderful to walk out to restaurants, shops, and the beach so easily. At the same time, the condo building sits next to a park, which created a quieter pocket in the busy Waikiki area. This was a great base for exploring the rest of the island. And, finally, I loved watching the fireworks Friday evening from my balcony. I would happily stay here again!

There are pros and cons to this little property. On the pro side, it's got a nice view, especially for the Friday night fireworks. The building is on the beach, so easy to get to the sand and water, but Waikiki beach is a short trek if you want to be on that beach. It was very nice to have a washer/dryer in the suite. Also, the owners provided us with some stuff we requested, which was very nice.
The cons: the kitchen is really too small for any serious cooking. We only used the fridge/freezer and microwave. Also, the unit shares a wall with the elevator for the building, so you get to hear that all the time.
Overall, it was pretty fun staying there.

Overview
My partner and I, from Maryland, were lucky enough to have enjoyed our Hawaiian vacation at this new home away from home. With an absolutely perfect view from the 11th floor of the only condo located on Waikiki Beach from 8/2 - 8/10. We spent many nights having wonderful discussions of our eventful days while looking out over the ocean and across the skyline. This property is located directly next to the Army Memorial Museum, so while sitting out on the balcony all you see is the museum below, a beautiful Park, Waikiki Beach, and endless ocean.

We decided on this condo back in December 2022 for our August 2023 vacation. Kai and Martin reached out to us, and us to them, several times over the months to ensure that we had all the information that we would need and felt very comfortable prior to our first flight out to Hawaii. They offered suggestions to help us plan our vacation, and truly solidified the care and concern that they provide to their guests to ensure that things go smoothly and are planned thoroughly in a very simple and non overbearing way.
Upon arrival Kai met us at the property precisely at the scheduled time and showed us around providing detailed information and really made us feel at home. The visit was brief and very appreciated because he was not at all rushed. Everything that we needed was there. Upon departure, Martin arrived exactly at the planned time to collect the parking pass that was provided and return the $200 cash deposit.

Ok, Pros first:
Great location. Walking distance to tons of great shopping, eating, and drinking. If I had known I would have skipped a rental car and saved $500.
There's a convenience store with adult bevs & souvenirs in the public access passageway on main floor, a grilled steak/chicken place, and a smoothie place we didn't try. There's a Starbucks 10 second walk to neighboring resort lobby, Dennys across the street, and 15 minute walk to anything you could want to shop, eat, or drink. Beach is very rocky behind but worth the easy access.
View is GORGEOUS from the balcony. Like a magazine.
Most excursions pickup nearby.
Room had everything you could want.
AC worked great.
CONS:
They literally started construction the day after we arrived. There were trucks parked everywhere in the already small front parking, lobby was boarded up, only 1 of the 2 elevators worked, and there was jackhammering ALL day. The room next to us had a screaming toddler that woke us up multiple times.
And there needs to be an express check in. Martin was great, but we had a LONG travel day and he wanted to take 30 minutes telling us everything about where everything is and how it worked.
Bed was weird. Pillows were gigantic and hard to sleep with.
We should have gotten a reduced rate with all the construction. Elevators were packed and waited forever from the 11th floor. Lobby in pictures were boarded up. Noise ALL day. Just not the peaceful retreat in the pics.

The property was beautiful! We stayed for 5 nights and loved the location right on Waikiki Beach. Kai communicated with us prior to our arrival, and Martin greeted us at the property and walked us through everything inside. We did pay for parking for the 5 days, which was very convenient and right across the street from the condo, although we really only used the car for 2 of the 5 days. We could walk everywhere for restaurants and bars, and the beautiful beach is just outside the door. (One note about the beach is that there is a fair amount of coral in the water, so if you have water shoes this might be a good option.)
A few notes about noise - there is presently construction going on as they are redoing the lobby and we could hear this noise on and off during the day. One side effect of the construction is that there is only one working elevator for the entire building and we did have fairly long wait time for the elevator. Being on 11th floor the stairs were not a great option. We also could hear voices and music from adjoining condos frequently - this is an older building and I think the walls are fairly thin.
But noise was just a very minor inconvenience though, and overall we loved the property and would stay again if we are ever in Waikiki!

Great location, great view of the ocean/beach/city. Perfect for the Friday night firework show. Communication prior to arrival was fantastic.
Shower was not clean upon our arrival.
The bed was rock solid, literally. Felt like sleeping on the floor, however we did get used to it. Bed linens had stains.
All to say, it’s a cheaper option to be right on the beach with everything you need within walking distance. Paul, who helped us check in, was awesome.

We were blown away by this property. The views from the balcony were amazing! The location couldn’t have been more perfect. We were walking distance to everything we were interested in! Shopping, food, beach was all convenient. We had the perfect views to watch the fireworks show in Waikiki! The condo was clean and updated. Customer service was incredible! We would definitely stay here again and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Full kitchen was nice, spacious unit, washer and dryer was a plus, large walk-in closet. View was beautiful, but with the daily sun on the sliding glass doors all day, the air conditioner couldn’t keep up. We used the floor fan, sitting on a chair, to keep the air circulating.

Trieu the host was wonderful and helpful with all questions and needs. Did get worried with a few delayed responses but pulled through to make it all work in end. Found 2 socks by back bedroom and knives and a plate in sink to wonder about deep clean but overall place was very clean and neat. Would have liked an easier check in process than meeting with him to get keys because did have to wait about 20 minutes on beach with our suitcases but understood why because of how to use the keys it was necessary. PLace had everything needed, coffee, kitchen items, cleaning items (laundry det.), soaps, shampoos, ample towels (beach too) and beach items from toys to chairs to umbrella! Beds were comfortable, cooling was great, location close to beach and city, view was incredible of both beach and city. Beautiful! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Trieu for your hospitality and use of your place, and extended time! It was great! Tips: Longs (CVS) is best place to get food/items verses ABC much cheaper as well as alcohol. Monkeypod right next door has happy hour 3:30- 5:30 drinks and food as well as The Yard House 2:00- 5:00 great prices and food choice and Tommy Bahama! Easy to get around using the Bikes in front of place too! Check them out online at BIKI
