Our VRBO was at the Marriott beach club in Ko Olina. We chose that as it is only 10 minutes from our son and family. The resort is on the beach and just beautiful. There are two restaurants on grounds plus a market to get some essentials. It is only 10-15 minutes drive from Costco etc. the resort has many pools as well as the beach to enjoy Hawaii weather. There are also many activities taking place all day long from water exercise to dancing to traditional Hawaii luau and hula. Our place was a studio with a little kitchenette. Since it was a timeshare listing we did not know where and type of studio we would get. Unfortunately it turned out to over look the parking garage. But we did not stay in our room other than to sleep etc so it didn’t matter. We would still definitely stay at this VRBO resort again.

The property is part of a timeshare property, one of three buildings on the site so as a traveler I would’ve liked to have known that. One restaurant on property and one bar/restaurant which were okay and close at 10 pm. Lagoon in front of property was nice to lounge;Studio is good for up to 2 people; friendly staff and atmosphere has great aloha vibe. Tried to work with property manager 6 days days prior to checking in to change dates due to Hurricane Kiko and they were not flexible at all. Worst part of this trip- honestly!

Communication was great with the host. Staff throughout the property was warm and welcoming and except for Gretchen that checked me in. I reserved an ocean view room and got a view of the parking garage and valet driveway. Outside of the room view the rest of the property was lovely. I would have signed up for a timeshare presentation but the disappointment of the room view for a milestone birthday was enough for me to not want to investment time or money.

Another great stay at Lagoon 2 for our family. This unit was our 6th experience and one of the nicest in terms of furniture and cleanliness.Really liked private location right out of the elevator with no other unit doors near by (they are around the corner from the elevator entrance). I would suggest walking through the garage to elevators closer to the unit vs taking the closest elevator to the parking stall and walking up through the lobby and all the way around the pool, etc. it saves so much more time.Stocked with beach gear, which my kids LOVED!The washer and dryer are a little troublesome but that was the only hiccup, I’m sure if we had called they would have come to look at it, but we didn’t want to bother with it.

Great property. Our only issue with the unit we stayed in is that the mattress on the bed needs to be replaced. Memory foam on one side was depressed too much and spouse had to sleep more in the middle of a queen bid.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. This was for our honeymoon, and it was a great experience. The only issue we had was that we booked this stay as a full week, but found out when we checked in that we were placed into two separate rooms, so we had to pack up and move rooms halfway through our stay. Being that we just got married and had more items than anticipated to sort through from the wedding, it was inconvenient to have to pack EVERYTHING (including large flower arrangements) and move rather than relax for the week. Although it would have still been inconvenient, and I don't know if it would have made a difference in whether we stayed or not, I wish it was information we were provided when we booked and before our arrival.

The condo and property were awesome. The kitchen was well stocked and the beach items to use were great. It had pool noodles, beach bag, cooler, and even snorkel gear. Ko olina was a great location without huge crowds at the beach, ocean, and pool. Jeff was great to work with for scheduling and communicating about the booking. I would stay at this condo again.

We had a great time. The onsite self service laundry was an excellent convenience. The reflection pool should be better supervised to ensure young children are not jumping in, throwing balls around. There are two other pools for those activities. We enjoyed the fitness room.

The room is clean and the staff are helpful and responsive. We have a good view of the pools and the ocean from the balcony ( please see attached photo for reference). The pool view helped our three year old warmed up to it and we spent a lot more of our time there this time as a result. The host communicated to us clearly and set the expectations straight for us. This is our second time here and our new favorite, every condo here is great but this one is a step above, SO much space for everyone, gorgeous views, all the amenities. I’ll start with the good. The communal spaces at the villas are wonderful. We really enjoyed the pools — there’s something for everyone. The location is also wonderful. Perfect spot on the beach, walkable to restaurants and the golf course.Here’s the bad. Unfortunately during our stay there was a cockroach infestation in our unit. It made everything feel dirty and gross. At one point my 1 year old son stepped on a cockroach, slipped, and fell on the floor. Yuck. Property management quickly addressed the issue and set up traps but we spent the remainder of the week cleaning up dying cockroaches.
