We love ko olina. Everything is about a 45 minute drive but you are outside of the metro feel of Waikiki which makes things more relaxing.
Unit is spacious and pretty well stocked. It’s second floor back by aulani drive and faces the open field with a partial ocean view. Only two complaints were- there was 1 coffee pod for the Keurig when we checked in and no coffee on site. Also, check out is 10am and security wouldn’t let us stay on property and use the pool til noon when we were leaving for the airport which I thought was ridiculous.
The property manager that met us at check in was very nice- aside from that we didn’t need to communicate much. There are fine and snorkels and boogie boards which came in handy in the closet as well.

This was our first experience with Vrbo. We were very pleased. Pictures and description were spot on. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of beach chairs, toys for beach play, coolers, etc. We would stay there again.

Very clean and upscale property. Nice gym. Beautiful beach with grass and trees for shade. Great for swimming, sunsets, and walks/run on the beach with the concrete path. Close to shopping (groceries, food, etc.). VERY quiet room with a nice balcony facing away from the pool (more private). Everything that was advertised was provided, and you can't expect more than that.

The location and amenities of this condo far exceeded our family’s expectations. Ko Olina is truly paradise on earth and the Beach Resort condos are beautiful, quiet, and serene. The property manager was helpful and responsive. Walking distance to great restaurants, shops, walking path, and the Paradise Cove Luau. The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Can’t wait to come back to what is now our “happy place”.

Excellent location. While the Beach Villas property was prestine (never saw a piece of trach on the exterior of the property during the entire week) the specific villa (OT-223) I booked was not cleaned very well upon arrival. I was promised a 3PM check-in and when we arrived had to wait 1 hour in Beach Villa lobby until we could enter the villa. The reason provided was the crew was still working on completing their cleaning process. The villa looked as if it wasn't cleaned at all. Dining table top and kitchen counter was dirty and was not wiped down at all. The tile floors need a good cleaning and were extremely dirty. You could tell that the vacuum wasn't run prior to our arrival. Not sure last time someone used at least a mop on the tile floors. The tile floor needs a professional tile cleaning. For the money you pay to rent the villa for a week you would think the cleaning crew would have enough time between renters to thoroughly clean the unit for the incoming guests.

Overall the stay was very nice. Great location away from the noise. Only complaint was that the cleaning could have been better. When we arrived there was sand left over from the previous guest inside the dressers. The host did include toiletries and cleaning supplies but with 6 people staying for a week we ran out of toilet paper and trash bags within 4 days so it would be nice to supply more of those items for future large parties.

Excellent spot for our little family vacation to Hawaii. My parents are in their late 60s early 70s so the easily walkable distance to the lagoons was great for them, and it was nice being based out of a resort away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu, but still close enough to get there for dinners and excursions. Had all the amenities we needed as well, and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice condo, though bedding in master bedroom smelled of mildew to me, so my husband and I had to strip bed all the way down to mattress the first night. Guest services replaced all the next day. Shower in master bath was not pleasant! Supposed to be rain shower, but forceful water right in face when turned on. Parking spaces were VERY tight! Otherwise, we had a great time!

We stayed from October 30 to November 6 2022. The check-in process was fast & efficient. We even got a phone call before our flight to let us know how long the travel time is from the airport to the porperty. There was someone that helped us with our lugguage to our unit. He even showed us around, how to use the appliances, and the beach toys the kids can use. Parking is also included.
The property is about a 10 minute walk to Island Vintage Coffee, ABC Country Market, Starbucks, & MonkeyPod Kitchen. Even Paradise Cove Luau is about a 20 min walk only.
We liked the Ko Olina area better than Waikiki. This area is quiet and more family oriented.
We are already planning on coming back next year.

Beautiful grounds and very nice condo! Loved the set up with each bedroom, bathroom and privacy. The lanai was very nice and was utilized a lot. Location is really good for all the beaches and attractions. There are so many kitchen gadgets there wasn't a lot of space for groceries. The closets were full of extras for babies, the beach etc. Very very nice. The only negative I would say is it could have used a good dusting. The louvered doors, vents etc. If we returned to this island we would definitely try to book unit again.

This condo and location is everything you want in a Hawaii vacation.

This condo is perfect for families or couples. We enjoyed the entire time we were there. Everyone had their own space and it was perfect. The lagoon was the most quiet and we used daily. The pools were great after the beach. The kids loved feeding the Kois and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Lots of supplies to start the trip and we bought more to leave. The beach supplies came in handy as we went daily. The entire experience from to start to finish couldn’t of been any more stress free, which is great given what one has to do to even get to the island. The unit is breathtaking like the views super clean and quite, wanna go to the beach or pool just walk the path and you’re there, wanna go play golf on a championship course, just walk across the street, wanna do your gift shopping, walk two blocks and you’re there with plenty of shops to choose from and eateries as well. This is one of the nicest villas we’ve ever stayed in. The unit is top notch, and the grounds are beautiful with fish ponds and waterfalls. The beach directly in front of it and is also less crowded than the big-name resorts nearby. There is not just one, but two nice-sized pools. I would highly recommend this villa for a great family vacation.

There is no restaurant on site but it’s a short walk to the Disney Aulani, Marriott, or shopping center all with great restaurants. Note that organized tours do not pick up from ko olina so you will need to rent a car if you want to explore outside of the resort.

Everything about this property was wonderful. Communication with both the property owner and the facility was easy, and both were helpful and responsive. We traveled as a family, 6 adults and 1 infant. There was a high chair, pack and play, and additional children’s toys and gear that were super helpful in making our stay convenient for baby. Each family (3) had our own suite with lots of privacy. Even the two smaller bedrooms have their own bathroom and a closing door to create space for each group.
The rental was clean, and in a great location to everything. The beach is visible from the balcony (where we enjoyed our coffee every morning), but this condo is not beach front. However, a 2 minute walk through the beautiful pools, hot tubs, and koi ponds led us straight to the beautifully maintained Sandy beaches of the Ko Olina “lagoons”. This lagoon was our favorite out of all 4 because it was open and seemed much less populated than the others. Ko Olina was perfect for morning walks and jogs along the beach through the 4 lagoons. The open bar near the beach hosted live music both Tuesday and Friday during our stay. A short walk east of the resort brought us to some small cliffs where we were able to view some turtles hanging out near the shore.
I just can’t begin to describe how wonderful this location was for our family. It’s pretty central to everything, and visits to the rest of the island were within easy access via the Hwy. there were a couple good restaurants within walking distance, a market stocked with a variety of traveling needs and a great deli, great drinks at the beach bar. Especially after visiting Waikiki resorts, we were very thankful for the calm, peaceful atmosphere of Ko Olina. This truly was a place of joy for our family! Thank you!

We stayed here for 10 days in June 2021. It was amazing and pictures don't do it justice. The condo was very well appointed. My 17 year old daughter even said it felt like home! The unit owner and property manager were quick to reply to my questions. Beautiful lagoon for snorkeling and 2 swimming pools on site. Be sure to rent a car so you can explore all of the beautiful beaches that the island has to offer!

What a wonderful place for a visit to Oahu. I don’t think we could have found a better value anywhere on the island. The unit is extremely well-equipped and maintained and the complex professionally managed. Modern kitchen, 3 spacious bedrooms, seating for 8 on a lanai with an ocean view. The owners’ dedication to ensuring their guests get what they pay for-and more-is evident. Ko Olina is a beautiful place. Perhaps too manicured for some; for our family of 6, ranging in age from 11 months to 64, the location and the unit couldn’t have been better. This is one choice you won’t regret.

Accommodations are very nice. 1:1 bed to bath which is nice with teenagers. Loved the beach gear on site. Some spices in the kitchen, laundry soap provided as well as some TP, paper towels and beach towels. Loved the walk out kitchen doors and table on the deck. Property grounds are beautiful and my kids enjoyed the pools and beach access. Turtles were in the lagoon. Access to Honolulu was good. Would definitely stay here again!

Damian is so nice and a pleasure to work with. He answered all our questions promptly and he makes us feel welcome at his place. Eric was very nice and professional in showing us the unit. The beds are very comfortable. We usually have a hard time sleeping at other places but at this place we slept well and woke up ready for another day. Everything in the place is high end, clean and beautiful.
The unit is spacious and the table by the lanai is nice, we spent most of our time there. The kids loved all the pools and the lagoon is so clear. We had a wonderful vacation, this is our third time in Hawaii and we can say this is the best place to stay in Hawaii. We will definitely come back at this place hoping to stay 2 weeks instead of just 1 week and We are already recommending your place to friends and families planning to go to Hawaii. We just got back from an eight day trip to Ko'Olina and we couldn't be happier to have stayed here. We were doing a family vacation with six adults and one toddler and the condo was PERFECT! The bedrooms, bathrooms, and all the furnishings are fantastic and beautiful and the place is so kid-friendly! All the appliances can "lock" so any button pushing is rendered useless by the little ones. They even have kid utensils, plastic plates, beach toys and the pack n play came in handy for the kiddo! No need to spend $$$ on rentals for munchkin! While there, we decided to buy a high chair/booster seat so we wouldn't have to rent that either and we left it there at the condo for future renters.
Damian, the owner, is seriously the nicest and most accommodating owner I have ever dealt with for vacation rentals. Our original flight to Oahu was canceled, and we could not get on a flight until 24 hours later, plus our returning flight had to be pushed out two additional days. Damian was so understanding and was so flexible with our schedule. Really a great guy.
The unit is on the outside of the building so it was away from the noise of the lap pool and was very private, a real plus for us. Plus, parking is super close to the unit, just an elevator ride up, and the pool and lagoon are a two minute walk from the unit. Really fantastic and very relaxing. The kiddie pool was a great way to get our toddler to "enjoy" the water, and the lagoon was very relaxing, not crowded at all.
If we make another trip out to Oahu, no doubt we'd stay here again!

We stayed at this beach villa for ten amazing days. First of all, the owner, Damian, was so great to work with. He quickly responded to our inquiry and provided us with helpful information about the Ko Olina area. When we arrived, the beauty and cleanliness of the villa surpassed the quality of all the other places we have stayed at. We had amazing views from our lanai. We were steps to the beaches and pools. We are a family of six and found the accomodations perfect. The master bedroom is on the other side of the villa away from where our four teenagers were sleeping. We used the BBQ's at the pool to prepare several of our meals which we always ate out on the lanai. We took Damian's advice and shopped at the nearby Costco which was so convenient. We rented surfboards and caught waves at nearby White Plains Beach. We also took advantage of the walking path along the four lagoons and enjoyed beautiful jogs along the beach. We went to Waikiki to shop and enjoyed the fact that it was only a 30 minute drive away. We enjoyed being in the tranquil environment of Ko Olina, but were grateful that we could sightsee and never drive more than 45 minutes to get anywhere on the island. We highly recommend the North Shore with its pristine beaches and laid back vibe.
By far, this was the best vacation rental by owner we have ever experienced, and we have been doing this for several years. Damian was a total pleasure to work with and we will return to his property again (next time without the kids!!!)

We just returned from a fantastic week in Damian's 2nd floor unit at the Ko Olina Beach Villa Resort. Since we all know from other reviews that the resort and the villas are wonderful, I’m going to focus my review on what was great about and unique to Damian’s unit. (I was able to compare our unit with the unit my in-laws rented on the 7th floor.) We had two families with young children staying at Damian’s place (kids ages 1, 4, & 7).
First of all, I was nervous about renting a place over the internet (my 1st time). I was instantly put at ease by Damian's prompt and thorough responses to my inquiries, as well as his great reviews. He has the relaxed confidence of someone with experience renting out places. Some owners seem more nervous and uptight (I'd worry about losing the security deposit over fingerprints on the fridge!).
Second, Damian has a local, Eric Binger, taking care of the unit. Eric greeted us when we got to Ko Olina, helped us check in, and gave us a brief tour of the place. He was very attentive and instructed us to contact him if we had any issues. We really appreciated that Damian went the extra mile to make us feel at ease.
Third, while all the units have amazing, state-of-the-art kitchens, not all of them have a large (indoor) dining table around which to enjoy family dinners. We cooked in almost every meal (easier than dining out with young kids) and really appreciated that table (seats 8!). Groceries were easy to get at Costco and Safeway (<10 minutes away) and Damian’s kitchen was stocked with almost everything we needed (even a rice cooker!). There were lots of spices in the spice drawer, and staples in the fridge (butter, mustard, ketchup, mayo, etc.). My in-laws’ kitchen was not as well stocked.
Fourth, Damian’s hall closet holds a treasure trove of beach paraphernalia: chairs, sand toys, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, life vests, and more. We raided this closet daily. The 7th floor unit had nothing (by choice -- the owner didn't want to promote bringing sand in).
Lastly, the unit is peaceful and quiet. While it may not have spectacular views of the ocean, it has NO noise from the pool area or the Disney construction on the other side of the resort.
The resort and Damian's unit were really perfect for our families. There's a pack ‘n play that the baby slept in. Wireless worked great -- printer, too! Got our deposit back within a week of our return. Highly recommended. Thank you, Damian!

We have stayed all over the island of Oahu and this Condo is by far the best ever. Very spacious, comfortable accomodations with everything you could ever need. The owners are excellent to work with and provide everything to make your vacation fun and easy. We never had to leave the property with the two large beautiful pools and private beach access to four lagoons. It is also within walking distance of world class golf. Pictures are not able to show the beauty of the property or the elegance of the condo. We plan on returning to Oahu and won't settle for staying anywhere else, this propery has it all.

Wow, what a great stay! Ko olina is a spectacular spot away from the hustle of Waikiki, yet close enough to enjoy those amenities if you desire. We spent most of our time with our two toddlers on the beach swimming in the ocean and making sandcastles. The resort also has two private pools which the kids enjoyed mixing up with the visits to the ocean. One pool even has a fine pebble bottom! This 3 bedroom condo is breathtaking with every high end convenience you can imagine. The unit is close to the pool and gym facility and only a few minutes walk to the beach.
Damian, the owner of this condo is highly professional and forthcoming. He provided us with valuable information about the area including where to eat, where to shop which saved us a lot of money and time. We are looking forward to returning again!

It was a pleasure staying here. We opened the lanai doors everyday and enjoyed the ocean breeze. The place is spacious and convenient. The bathtubs were deep and relaxing. My son enjoyed the pool and beach everyday. He also enjoyed watching Elmo videos on the large flat screen TV. There was a shopping center only a couple of miles away which was convenient for groceries. Best of all was the private beach lagoon only a 2 minute walk away and coffee bar close by for morning walks. There was also a great walking path along the beach. It was also nice having an assigned parking spot. This was so much more convenient than staying in a hotel, it really is the only way to vacation if you have a family or couples traveling together.

The villa is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. The decor inside is 5 star, and the kitchen is beautifully stocked for all kinds of culinary styles. We couldn't have asked for a more delightful place to stay. The owners answered all my questions, and then some, and were very detailed as I had several families to satisfy. I had never rented through the internet and was so pleased and happy with the help up front, the villa and all its comforts and beautiful style and appoinments, and the complex and location. Wonderful property.

The condo is an excellent property in a nice and quiet part of oahu.There are many parking spots which was great as we were 3 couples with 3 cars.There are many swimming pools and the exercise room has a steam sauna and a dry sauna too.The condo itself is comfy and big.everything that we could need was there.The furnishing is very modern and in good taste.we would be definately going back there soon.we would just walk to the beach day or night and the best part are the lagoons which are just great for swimming and playing around!!we had a ball!!!
