One small suggestion...replace cushions on lanai chairs. It was a bit uncomfortable sitting in the high chairs for a longer period of time, which is what one wants to do to take in the fabulous view.

We wanted a place where we could see the beach from our balcony and be able to walk from our unit onto the beach. We didn’t need a lot of space, and The Waikiki Shores provided all we needed. We didn’t get to spend as much time taking advantage of the beach access and view as we would have liked due to our short stay and other excursions around the island. But we loved it and were able to rent a car from First Rental Cars, which is located only a few blocks away and provides free overnight parking. (You can rent cars at the airport for less, but you then have to pay high fees for parking garages nearby. So the location of Waikiki Shores and First Rental Cars was a perfect combination.) We were welcomed at the condo by Kai and Martin, and Martin gave us a detailed tour of the condo. The condo looks exactly like the photos in the listing. The balcony has mirrors on both sides which allow you to see views from all directions (but are a bit discombobulating when you keep seeing yourself in the reflection and think there is someone behind you! LOL). The unit doesn’t provide coffee, and there was only hand soap in the shower but under the bathroom sink were a variety of body washes, sun screen, and hair products left by previous tenants. So if you don’t bring your own, you are probably okay. The unit doesn’t provide any beach amenities such as lounging chairs, umbrellas, or body boards, but it does offer a small cooler with freezer packs. I would definitely stay there again.

The property was as pictured and fit my needs perfectly. Martin, who checked me in, was so helpful and kind. Kai, who communicated with me prior to my arrival, was also incredibly helpful, nice, and responsive. The option of paying extra for a parking space was a great asset, as parking in this area is otherwise challenging and expensive. The unit is a very good value for this area. It was wonderful to walk out to restaurants, shops, and the beach so easily. At the same time, the condo building sits next to a park, which created a quieter pocket in the busy Waikiki area. This was a great base for exploring the rest of the island. And, finally, I loved watching the fireworks Friday evening from my balcony. I would happily stay here again!

The property was beautiful! We stayed for 5 nights and loved the location right on Waikiki Beach. Kai communicated with us prior to our arrival, and Martin greeted us at the property and walked us through everything inside. We did pay for parking for the 5 days, which was very convenient and right across the street from the condo, although we really only used the car for 2 of the 5 days. We could walk everywhere for restaurants and bars, and the beautiful beach is just outside the door. (One note about the beach is that there is a fair amount of coral in the water, so if you have water shoes this might be a good option.)
A few notes about noise - there is presently construction going on as they are redoing the lobby and we could hear this noise on and off during the day. One side effect of the construction is that there is only one working elevator for the entire building and we did have fairly long wait time for the elevator. Being on 11th floor the stairs were not a great option. We also could hear voices and music from adjoining condos frequently - this is an older building and I think the walls are fairly thin.
But noise was just a very minor inconvenience though, and overall we loved the property and would stay again if we are ever in Waikiki!

Great location. Walking distance to tons of great shopping, eating, and drinking. If I had known I would have skipped a rental car and saved $500.
There's a convenience store with adult bevs & souvenirs in the public access passageway on main floor, a grilled steak/chicken place, and a smoothie place we didn't try. There's a Starbucks 10 second walk to neighboring resort lobby, Dennys across the street, and 15 minute walk to anything you could want to shop, eat, or drink. Beach is very rocky behind but worth the easy access.
View is GORGEOUS from the balcony. Like a magazine.
Most excursions pickup nearby.
Room had everything you could want.
AC worked great.
CONS:
They literally started construction the day after we arrived. There were trucks parked everywhere in the already small front parking, lobby was boarded up, only 1 of the 2 elevators worked, and there was jackhammering ALL day. The room next to us had a screaming toddler that woke us up multiple times.
And there needs to be an express check in. Martin was great, but we had a LONG travel day and he wanted to take 30 minutes telling us everything about where everything is and how it worked.
Bed was weird. Pillows were gigantic and hard to sleep with.
We should have gotten a reduced rate with all the construction. Elevators were packed and waited forever from the 11th floor. Lobby in pictures were boarded up. Noise ALL day. Just not the peaceful retreat in the pics.

My partner and I, from Maryland, were lucky enough to have enjoyed our Hawaiian vacation at this new home away from home. With an absolutely perfect view from the 11th floor of the only condo located on Waikiki Beach from 8/2 - 8/10. We spent many nights having wonderful discussions of our eventful days while looking out over the ocean and across the skyline. This property is located directly next to the Army Memorial Museum, so while sitting out on the balcony all you see is the museum below, a beautiful Park, Waikiki Beach, and endless ocean.

We decided on this condo back in December 2022 for our August 2023 vacation. Kai and Martin reached out to us, and us to them, several times over the months to ensure that we had all the information that we would need and felt very comfortable prior to our first flight out to Hawaii. They offered suggestions to help us plan our vacation, and truly solidified the care and concern that they provide to their guests to ensure that things go smoothly and are planned thoroughly in a very simple and non overbearing way.
Upon arrival Kai met us at the property precisely at the scheduled time and showed us around providing detailed information and really made us feel at home. The visit was brief and very appreciated because he was not at all rushed. Everything that we needed was there. Upon departure, Martin arrived exactly at the planned time to collect the parking pass that was provided and return the $200 cash deposit.

There are pros and cons to this little property. On the pro side, it's got a nice view, especially for the Friday night fireworks. The building is on the beach, so easy to get to the sand and water, but Waikiki beach is a short trek if you want to be on that beach. It was very nice to have a washer/dryer in the suite. Also, the owners provided us with some stuff we requested, which was very nice.
The cons: the kitchen is really too small for any serious cooking. We only used the fridge/freezer and microwave. Also, the unit shares a wall with the elevator for the building, so you get to hear that all the time.
Overall, it was pretty fun staying there.

Waikiki Shore has no pool but the pool manager next door at Outrigger Reef welcomes us to use their pool but you must bring preferably a white towel from your unit.They also offer Waikiki Shore units.

Loved every minute of our stay, the Kitchen and Bath have been recently updated, and you have everything you need for the perfect vacation (except beach chairs which can be purchased at the nearby ABC store), and extremely well maintained unit and building. Managers are super responsive and professional, and the location cannot be beat……I would stay here again for sure!

I spent hours reading reviews from prior customers before booking this location and it did not disappoint!! From the excellent communication & customer service from Kai who explained the process in advance, then again prior to arriving, to the hands on check in with Martin, this has been the best experience!
The condo itself has the best view of Waikiki with no buildings partially obstructing it. We had a balcony where we shared a bottle of wine and watch the sunset or the fireworks. There’s a washer & dryer and Tide pods which is a huge plus. Parking is literally across the street and there was never an issue with finding a parking spot.

While we were only here for a short 3 nights, we thoroughly enjoyed everything the property had to offer. Location to activities is superb. The unit is super clean and functions as you expect. Nice touches from ice packs for cooler to beach towels. We will absolutely look to return here on our next trip!

Could not have been more pleased with this stay. The location is great, right on the beach with a spectacular view from the balcony. Lots of shopping and restaurants just steps away. Having the use of a parking pass with in and out privileges was very useful. Would stay here again.

We absolutely LOVED our stay on Waikiki beach! Such a delightful studio! Perfect for the two of us. We had the beach, shopping, restaurants, beautiful sunsets- a perfect '10'. Our host, Kai, is very thorough and responsive and took good care of us. It is a great place!

What a view for a reasonable price! The photo in the listing is completely accurate and the best part is that there is a park next door, Fort Derussy, that is owned by the government, so there is not another high rise to block the view! The well-kept, well-located studio apartment has everything you will need for your stay plus it is on a lovely stretch of beach with a great take out restaurant (excellent chicken and steak), a shave ice stand and a few shops downstairs. The owner is very easy to contact and he will call you after you make your reservation to go over check in procedures and answer any questions you might have. And did I mention the view?
Our only minor inconvenience (and it was minor) is that if you have a late flight there is no place to leave your suitcases once you check out. I stress that this was minor and didn't impact our very pleasant stay. I'm so glad we chose to stay here instead of at a hotel.

Really nice location on the beach with unobstructed views. Got to see the fireworks on Friday night from the lanai. A good value. We ended up using it more like a hotel (eating out) but it has a nice gas stove and all the basic cooking amenities. Coffee was supplied so no shopping required to make it through the first morning in paradise.

If you want to be near everything you need, mainly the beach this is the perfect location. Bed was comfy. Only issue was security coming to tell us to turn down our music from a mini speaker at 5:45pm. Otherwise perfect place.

We had the best time staying here. Loved overlooking the beach and the park. The city lights at night were amazing. The roosters crowing in the heart of the big city was so much fun. Such a great location and condo. Highly recommend this location. Excellent communication from the Mgmt and super attentive. Parking option was great to have. Super convenient to locations and highway to travel the island. One of my favorite VRBO's that I've stayed at.

This property is very close to the beach-literally within steps with easy access. The view from the balcony is spectacular and we ate many meals there enjoying the view and the serenity of the setting.

The place is as advertised. Great views (11th floor). Pleasant to sit on the balcony looking out over Waikiki. Everything works. The unit has coiking facilities and washing machune and dryer.
There was an unexpected cleaning charge if US$115 and internet costs US$5 per day. We enjoyed our stay.
