A beautiful ocean view and very comfortable condo. The elevator was a lifesaver and the kitchen with large refrigerator was very convenient. The church nearby is loud on Sunday mornings at 7, auwe, but the condo is fantastic. Great location and parking. We loved the air conditioning and outdoor lanai. The owner is very responsive. The unit is beautiful with stunning ocean views and well equipped. Property manager on site was great. Vacasa was terrible. Promised parking passes 3 times and never got one. Hours are 10-4:30 which are not convenient since I call on Kona clients. On site manager finally helped me. Don’t let this dissuade you from renting since the unit is great! I’d fire Vacasa.

Perfect location. View can not be beat. Four adults room for everyone. AC was a god send the first few nights. Was very humid. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Loved the filtered water pitcher. My adult nephew even said the hide a bed wasn't to bad. Loved the beach chairs. They also had umbrellas , beach toys and a couple boogie boards. I made a mistake and booked the wrong check out date. Lucky for me they were able to accommodate us another night, even a lower rate then we book. Definitely will look into staying here again.

This is my Favorite Place to stay in Kona. The water wasn't Hot, but the Host responded immediately and it was fixed immediately. I love the spot and you have Banyan Mart across the street and the Taco Stand right next door. No need to go anywhere when you get there. Love it and will be back!!

The location is the star of this condo! For us it was to long of a walk to get to stores but we were able to find plenty of parking spaces. We were there right before the womens ironman was taking place. It was wonderful to see so many people running, biking and swimming. The condo is small. They do mention the size of it. Parts of the shower was broke but again they did nention it after we pai and they gave us all the instructions. It was still useable and didnt interfer. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The bed was ok not to hard or soft.

The parking lot was being renovated and it was confusing where to park. We had to drive in through the exit side. But there was always an available space when we tried. I don't like the rug in the living room. No one liked the way it felt underfoot.Kitchen knives could be better.Beds were comfortable.The fire alarms started chirping for a new battery in the middle of the night. The management company replied quickly and just had us disable it ourselves. Thankfully my husband figured it out but it was so disruptive to a good night's sleep.

We adored this property! The view was stunning and the patio furniture was comfortable. The showers were so nice here, it was like having a spa in our room! The patio door was a bit hard for my elderly mother to open and close. The property manager was so kind and had excellent communication. We were not ready for our visit to be over, and I hope we can come back again soon.

Very well stocked with necessary items. Loved that there was so much beach gear available for use. Bathroom storage/counter space a bit tight. Had to wipe up floors after every shower with lack of shower door….minor inconvenience. The absolute best part was the amazing view…we utilized the lanai whenever we were in…..just beautiful! One small thing to mention - there were very tiny ants on the right side of the sink. I assume it is due to the tropics and as I was kept busy with the Ironman they didn’t bother me … all good! The views from the balcony and inside the condo are better than the VRBO pictures!! You will have surfers to watch most of the daylight hours. The location is perfect for exploring the island. Holly, is available and great to work with. Highly recommend staying here!

Check in and parking were SUPER easy thanks to the detailed instructions provided to us. The unit had THE BEST views. It was clean and had everything you could need or want on vacation. The area felt safe and was relatively close to shops, farmer's markets and more. The complex was quiet. Friendly people all around. The owner was quick to respond if we needed anything.

The location of the rental is perfect! The views are amazing from the condo. The condo itself leaves more to be desired. There has not been much upkeep. We got there late in the evening, the directions were not clear as to where to park. The parking area is under construction and you can currently only enter through the exit only. It would have been helpful if they let us know this ahead of time. When we got to the condo,the counters in the kitchen had little ants crawling everywhere, the fridge and other areas are rusted, an overall musty smell and the worst part the only ac unit wasn't working. We contacted both the owner and the condo management early the next morning. They stated due to the Ironman going on that day, they would not be able to get anyone out to look at it, even tho we were able to go in and out of the condo all day. They did finally come and replace it but 3 of our 5 night stay was w/o ac. It was very nice they had amenities like beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler for us to use. These all came in very handy for us. I would only recommend this to a friend if they understood the condo needs some work but the views are amazing and the location is ideal.

The site of this place is in a good spot where you are two miles from the pier and a mile away from little beaches to enjoy. From the room you can hear the waves crashing. There were multiple amenities available within the kitchen compared to other vacation stays. One issue were ants in the kitchen and crawling on the bed frame. Good thing there was ant spray but no other cleaning supplies to clean up after the counters.

We really enjoyed our stay!You simply cannot beat the oceanfront view. Everything else was good, too. The complex could use some basic improvements but nothing major at all; can just tell it’s a bit dated. The condo was excellent. I did message Mike about a couple minor issues with cleanliness - coffee filter was left full and grew mold and hair in one of the shower drains. He ensured he’d take care of it and I have little doubt he will. The rest of the condo was spotless and well-kept. Also, the AC cooled down the entire condo easily! I was skeptical upon arrival but proven wrong. Cooled down the entire unit very quickly upon arrival after a long day.Highly recommend this place! Enjoy.

There is no way around it, I was disappointed in this condo. The headline on VRBO reads “Deluxe Penthouse Condo” there is nothing deluxe about this condo except the view.I will start with the positives. The owners were great to communicate with; they were very timely. The view from the lanai is amazing, sunsets every night. Generally, it has the basics of what are needed. I was able to enjoy my time here after a few purchases that I will leave with the condo.My big disappointments…the pillows!! They are like soggy pancakes. After one night I went to Walmart and bought 2 new king-size pillows and cases. I don’t know how anyone has slept on those flat pillows! I also bought a beach towel because I hadn’t seen them in the room yet, they were in a weird spot. But when I did notice them, I was so happy I bought a new one, they are old and scratchy. The bath towels are old and small as well. The TV is a bit of a mess. The emailed instructions are different from the instructions in the room. I gave up and used my iPad. The ice maker doesn’t work. There is tape holding some things together. In general, the condo feels well used and not maintained to “deluxe” standards.

We sat on the balcony and watched dolphins in the morning. And kept the bedroom slider open to sleep to the sound of the waves.Would gladly return on our next visit to Kona.

Our favorite property of this vacation. Was worried by the reviews, and certainly aspects of the property were dated, but the beds were great and the view and location were fantastic. Bring white noise and earplugs for the back rooms as there is periodic traffic noise. Didn’t see any roaches. Good food in the area. AC was a nice touch. Would stay again.

One hour before our stay, we were told they cancelled our reservation due to construction! Had researched and picked out this particular condominium due to location and decor. Was devastated. How rude and unprofessional can the owners be and obviously knew this prior to booking their place..a one hour notice is unacceptable.

VRBO was great, enough rooms to accomodate all of us and the 2 ocean facing rooms were beautiful. The kitchen was very handy so we could grocery shop. It was close to most of the excursions we wanted to do. There were games for downtime and also a lot of books to learn about the area. Would 100% stay here again.

Aesthetically pleasing but operationally complicated. There are a lot of unlabelled light switches for the many fans and lights and the barn door on the bathroom sticks when closed. Host left nice treat basket but handymen arrived before official checkout time (11 am) and entered apartment when we were not there. Balcony is spacious but faces the parking lot with dumpsters that are emptied early in the morning.

Holly was the most gracious host. We let her know late one afternoon that one of the TV’s weren’t working properly. She got right on the situation and went out and bought a new TV and had it installed the very next day early afternoon. The place is exactly what you see in the pictures. Everything was clean and in excellent working order.Holly has very speedy communication and getting back to you about anything.Last minute I asked if we could have a late check out, and she graciously accommodated us with this request.I would definitely rent this condo again. The ocean front view was amazing. Unfortunately, the overwhelming number of German roaches spoilt our stay. I did contact the owner, who never apologized. He was unwilling to get a professional out asap to treat the unit. My husband does pest control, and roach motels do nothing with German roaches. However, someone is scheduled to come out now we are leaving. There was no where available for us to move to on short notice. VRBO’s “guarantee” didn’t help either. I am disabled and we chose this location because of that. The unit itself has a great view, but the furniture is worn and the bathroom shower has rust spots and chips. The pool was supposed to be heated- it wasn’t. The washer dryer were very loud. The bed has seen better days, but so has the building. The location and view could not make up for my husband and I having to kill roaches every night. Pro tip leave the light on and less venture out from their holes. Wash everything in the kitchen before using. Because we found roaches in cupboards. If the owner had expressed any kind of apology, I’d have felt a little better about the situation. As it was it felt like we were held hostage, because all VRBO’s were sold out, and we’d have had to pay double for something last minute, and it would not have had the accessibility I need due to my mobility. We are so disappointed. And VRBO’s lack of care considering their “guarantee” means I will look elsewhere in future to find accommodation that I can rely on.

Nice place. Only thing would be to have a couple of floor mats to keep from tracking dirt around. Did not find the broom and swiffer until the last couple of days (was behind the refrigerator) and there wasn't a dust pan. Even though the floor inside was clean, the patio floor was dirty because of being outside.
