This property was even better than the description and the pictures. The description and the pictures (and price/location) were the main reasons for selecting this property, and then we were overwhelmed by how much better it was in-person...which is saying a lot, because it looks amazing online. Our family of four had to get a little creative with morning bathroom planning, but for 12 days in this amazing location, we made it work! We will be back. Thank you for helping us make lifelong memories for our children. This was very special for us.

This complex was recommended by a friend. At first i didn't love how far away from all the action this place was but after 2 days of seeings how busy the "action" areas were we were very happy to awake up to a quiet resort.The view posted is exactly what you get. Unit was clean. The beach there doesnt look like much but there is good snorkeling there and its a quick 10 minute walk to a bigger beach. Check in and out was super easy. Was pleasantly suprise that there was some beach accessories. Well worth booking this unit, except for when I want to go again, then dont book it so I can have it!!!

we were in L204 and our daughters family in another condo at Papakea. This has been our family tradition over the past 40 years and Papakea has never disappointed.We love the grounds, the peaceful atmosphere, and the quiet location, within easy reach of beaches and shopping, with all necessities available locally.L204 has been tastefully and pracyically remodelled and our stay was very comfortable. Our stay was wonderful! The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable, the bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and the kitchen had everything you would need (& more). My family of 5 had plenty of space to relax!The view from the balcony of the pool and ocean were spectacular. The grounds of Papakea are meticulously kept, the pool, jacuzzi, and bbqs are cleaned daily. I had a question when we arrived and the host was quick to respond and follow up. We look forward to coming back!

This was our second year in a row to stay in the condo! We really like the amenities and location! We've stayed at Papakea many times and really enjoyed this unit. It has a split ac system which kept us cool - even though we really only used the back bedroom unit. The fans kept the living area cool in the morning and evening. The views are gorgeous and make the morning cup of coffee a treat. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beach closet had chairs. Thanks for another great stay!

Sondra's place was amazing! It was the perfect size for our family of 3, with a well-stocked kitchen, beach gear, and even putters and golf balls to use on the site's putting green. The location was perfect for a short drive or walk to some great spots, and the resort also had pools and grills if we wanted to stay in. The entire experience was truly magical for us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Papakea! The access to a washer and dryer was very nice. We loved sipping coffee on the lanai each morning watch the sea and sunshine and sometimes rainbows. The beds were very comfy. We did not have a problem but travelers need to know that the bedrooms are not air conditioned. The option of fans and open windows worked well.

We came to Maui to celebrate with family and friends before my daughter leaves for college in August. We rented 1 condo and our other friends rented 2 different condos. It was fun snd convenient for us to all meet up at common areas such as the pool and barbecue. The kids had a blast hanging out and playing soccer together and it felt safe for them to have a bit of freedom. We had a wonderful family vacation and would love to come back. Maui is simply beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The condo was absolutely amazing!Location was perfect and you could walk to everything! The grocery store was across the street, food carts and coffee was also a block away.Snorkeling was amazing just down the beach. This is a little hidden gem…we had a 1st floor unit, steps from the ocean. The sunsets were spectacular! Plenty of beach front, but a little grassy area for people to walk and for kids to run and play. Easy access to everything. Our host was awesome and checking in and out was a breeze. We will definitely be back on our next visit. Mahalo for a wonderful place to stay!

This was a perfect staycation for me and my family!We weren't able to leave the island for my kids summer break but this was the next best thing! Location of property is in walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Our room had a wonderful view of the garden area and pond with the ocean in the backround.At night that view looks magical with the pool being lit up with blue lights in the water.My kids enjoyed the putting green and shuffle board and we got to spend quality family time together going on beach walks and dinner together. Unit was stocked with everything one would need to prepare a meal as if you were at home . During mid day bedrooms got a little warm but you have the option to open the windows letting the crosswinds flow thru the unit, we used that time of day to go and explore the property grounds. The units managment team communicated with me every stap of the way before during and after insuring me that someone was always available if i needed anything even though we were still on our home island we were treated no different and got the full vacation experience thanks to the my perfect stays team and wonderful unit and location.

Had a great time staying at this condo with my family. Location is great. The complex is large, but it never felt crowded. It was really quiet. We had groups above, below, and next to us and we never heard them. We saw turtles out front swimming and beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Condo was well stocked and had everything we needed. Within walking distance from restaurants and groceries. We did have an issue that we needed to contact the property manager. She was quick to respond and took care of the issue quickly. Highly recommended this condo.

My family and i just returned from the best vacation we have ever had! If you are looking for an ocean front fully stocked condo, with great owners this is it! The place had everything we needed for a great base camp while we explored the wonders of Maui.We enjoyed morning coffee by the ocean and evenings watching sunsets on the balcony. The resort has many amenities: including 2 pools, activities, putting green, shuffle board. The resort is located within walking distance of several restaurants, food truck park, a grocery store and ABC store. Most of all, Lou was fantastic communicating before and during the rental. AC was misleading, none in the second bedroom at all and a governor controlled it. The unit on the lanai caused the area to get so hot in the afternoon and evening we could not sit out nor eat there. We could use it in the mornings when the outdoor temp was the coolest. No hot water in the master bath shower. Three of us used it at different times during the day and all had warm showers only. No oven except the microwave/oven combo above the cook top stove. it took double the time to bake puff pastry, so we had to completely replan our meals. No recycle bin in condo, tiny kitchen trash can for a condo to accommodate a larger family or group.Broom was appreciated to sweep any sand tracked it, but no dust pan makes to tough to use.The master bash shower had built up dirt on the outside of the shower doors which were completely covered in mineral deposits.The master bedroom had an issue where something had left residue on the tile, perhaps a piece of furniture. The lanai was way too small for the size of table on it.I do have pics of the shower and floor.The resort is a well maintained beautiful property that we may try one more time, the staff was very helpful and engaging.

Spacious and well appointed condo with amazing views, just like the pictures. The loft was perfect our 2 teenage boys and the private bedroom downstairs was appreciated. The kitchen space was great for cooking in. There is a beach close by, about a 5 min walk, that has nice sand and small waves. The resort was quiet and clean, no need to claim chairs by the pool or by the beach wall for sunset. Loved the views and unit, would highly recommend.

Penthouse H403 was perfect for us. The loft worked great for 2 teenage boys. There was enough room up there for two more. All the beds were very comfortable. The 3 split level air, it took us awhile for the three units to cool down the place. But after that first day they held the temperature. Everything you need Kitchen was great! Down the road is a small store where we bought some needs. Paper goods, some coffee and breakfast groceries. Perfect! Papakea Resort was so friendly. The pool area with grills and a pavilion was used everyday for our 13 family members staying at the resort. Yes, no beach! It did not stop some of our family to snorkel the area. (Be a strong swimmer) There were beaches near by. Thank you for sharing your place with us.As some may know, you can encounter small birds sneaking in the condo through open screens. Hahaha! Thank you for the closet full of beach goodies, chairs, umbrella, toys, snorkel gear and cooler. Some things didn’t work but most just needed a good cleaning and was usable. All was great !!! I do have two suggestions though : It is time to replace the couch !!! My second is, the bar stools are VERY uncomfortable !! They appear to be new, but, whatever you paid for them, the seller got the best part of that deal. They are o.k. to hang some clothes on, but, that's about it. Over all, The condo is very nice and we would stay there again.

We stayed eight nights in this unit. Could not be any happier! Beautiful condo in a beautiful resort. Dee and Randy really do go all out to make your stay wonderful. Centrally located on the upper west side of Maui, so anything you need is close by. Unit was very well appointed with absolutely everything you might need on your stay. Excellent kitchen. Very well supplied with extras - spices, sunscreen, laundry detergent, beach towels, etc. Usually owners don't do that and it saved us a lot of money. Loved the melamine dishes. Beautiful view. Some small negatives - The A/C in the master bedroom smelled. The sink drain in the hall bath smelled when you turned on the water. After looking at details for ten days I became aware some things needed updating, the hall bath (the one that I used) everywhere around floor. Would prefer more plastic cups. But I'd stay there again. Good value.

The unit was clean and had a beautiful view. The unit was very hot. The central air did not cool like we are used to. The only way to keep the condo tolerable was to close all the blinds during the day, which defeats the purpose of the great view. We enjoyed the condo at night once it cooled off, but there’s not enough comfortable seating. It sleeps 8, but only 4 fit on the couch. We had 5 adults which left one person sitting on a hard kitchen chair or backless barstool if we all wanted to hang out together. We also paid extra for late check out, but was locked out of our room. We ended up spending time on our last day at the front desk and on the phone trying to get this fixed. The cleaning person also entered the room when we weren’t there. We asked for a partial credit for this inconvenience and did not receive one,
