Water view was spectacular. Spent a lot of time on lanai just looking at the waves and listening to the ocean. Location was very convenient. Kitchen was well stocked. Was exactly as advertised. The host was very responsive from the moment the booking was confirmed with helpful tips and info on the area. Everything was clean and in well working order. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if in Maui for another vacation.

I stayed in room D-105. The location was great and the pool / hot tub was wonderful. The koi pond was amazing. The staff was helpful and kind and was always ready to help. However the a/c unit location did not cool the whole condo and we had to bring the mattress out into the living room and move all the furniture around so the air could move about and stay cool. One of the burners on the stove wasn’t working and neither was the tv in the bedroom. The WiFi was turned off when we got there so we had to have someone come in and help. I think it’s ridiculous that you only get a tiny kit for necessities like dish soap and laundry but then the hotel doesn’t supply more after.
Staff, location, and pool gets 10/10 but that room gets a 2/10

We stayed in this condo for a week. It was exactly as described. Great ocean view and extremely clean. The kitchen was so well equipped. Spacious and very comfortable. Easy communication with the owner as well, which was great. The check in staff at the complex were really friendly too. We used the BBQ facilities as well, which were clean and tidy. Walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. We 100% recommend this condo, it's fantastic!! Thank you.

We came on vacation with our two boys, 7 and 5, and this was the perfect location. The views were breathtaking and the Papakea facility had awesome pools. The rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed for the week with towels, chairs, boogie boards and more. The beach was within great walking distance and sea turtles swam right up to shore. We will definitely be staying here again.

We loved our stay at Papakea! This unit was well kept and fully stocked with EVERYTHING you could need for the beach. No need to rent or pack a snorkel mask, they had beach towels, boogie boards, a cooler, mineral sunscreen (required in Maui), beach chairs, pool noodles and more! The kitchen had all the gadgets you’d want as well as tons of spices and condiments. The beds were comfortable and had soft sheets. The living room is nice yet cozy but perfect for our group of 4. Hardly matters, we were off and gone or chilling on the lanai. This unit does not have AC but we adjusted to the temperature and humidity in a day or so. There is always a lovely breeze in Hawaii though and they have numerous fans in all the rooms to keep the breezes going. Papakea is a great, serine place. The grounds are lovely and the pools are never crowded. It’s very quiet and chill. This was our 3rd time at the property and I’m sure not the last.

The facility is well located. It is quiet and peaceful. The view is awesome and the property is well maintained. There is some beach nearby, which is nice. The host was responsive and gracious. The only issue we experienced was that we could not figure out how to get two of the three TV's to work. But, you are in Maui... so why are you watching TV anyway? All in all, great place! We would come back again and highly recommend this for large families! We had 9 total, 4 adults and 5 teens.

The place was clean and equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. Our host also left very helpful information regarding the places to eat , shop and sites to see. Very nice property. We were admiring the attention to the details that the grounds crew would put in to the care of the grounds and the pool. Beautiful view of the sunset right out the back door. The beaches in the surrounding area were beautiful and great for snorkeling. Many Sea Turtles and different species of fish. I would definitely recommend this place and will come back again.

It had all the necessities. A few issues with the living room and hall lights. Adding bathroom rugs would help with water from the shower. Adding another two chairs to the lani would allow to host a couple more people wthin in the resort. The host was quick to respond to the issues we reported.

Our rental experience was pretty amazing! I WISH the check out was one more hour (10am check out was a challenge) but the clean up list/requests wasn’t crazy. The condo was stocked with lots of essentials in the kitchen. They also had several hairdryers and curling irons, so save room in your bags and leave yours home! Was kinda bummed both snorkel masks in the condo leaked. The umbrella was also flimsy and just blew inside out. One of the lawn chairs was also broke. The boogie boards were fun! Definitely check out the gear first day so you can go rent gear that you need. The place was clean and was in a great location! Bed was a bit uncomfortable, and had a piece of plywood to give it more structure? Living room couch SUPER rock hard and uncomfortable.

Incredible location for our anniversary trip. Close enough to anything you could need but also still peaceful and quiet. We discovered the shortcut to the ABC market on the first day and it was a game changer. Also loved the food truck park and the cinnamon bun place. Excellent food all around! The view was amazing to wake up to everyday. Easy walk to the beach. No noise from the pool. Only cons were the long walk from the parking lot/cars which could complicate things if you are coming with a big family and lots of stuff, and on our last 2 days there was construction happening in the condo above ours. Otherwise, this was the perfect stay! Will definitely be back!
