this condo was well equipped and very clean with everything you need , it had laundry soap , dish soap , paper towel , wash cloths , cook wear ,toaster , blender, coffee maker, microwave and range . i always leave extra items for the next guest incase they get in late such as coffee and sugar paper towel and toilet paper , laundry soap , i have stayed here before and look forward to staying there again .

This property is located at a very convenient location just minutes from downtown Kona, but quiet. Can hear the soothing tidal waves but not too loud. The interior is slightly outdated but clean and functional. It's perfect for a couple to spend some quality time. The whole complex is well managed and ground crew/staff was friendly. However, they do pest control on a quarterly basis and they would spread some kind of chemical inside the house. This would affect your plan. I was also not sure if there would have some kind of side effects on human health. Other than this incident, I had a relaxing time during my stay.

The condo was clean, very pleasant and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed. Morning coffee on the deck was wonderful with all sorts of colorful birds stopping by to say hi. The condo complex was clean, well maintained and beautiful. The views of the stormy ocean from the common areas was incredible. We enjoyed our time there despite the very bad weather that caused us to stay inside more than planned. The hot tub and deck areas became wonderful social gathering areas for all of us visitors. The unit is very centrally located to all of the Kona side attractions. We found it very easy to get in/out of town. Parking at the condo is very convenient. In town parking is expensive unless you do not mind walking a bit.Tom, our host, has made check-in and check-out real easy. He was always available by email or phone and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. He also gave us some ideas for adventures when the weather was rough. He is a great host.We would definitely stay here again.

The building and amenities were very nice. However, the furniture in the unit was very dated and the couch was very uncomfortable. The television sets were much too small for the unit. Many of the cooking pans and pots were old to the point of needing replacement.

The home is a perfect sanctuary with breathtaking views of the ocean. It’s comfortable, relaxing and intuitive in how to work the spa, outdoor lighting, music, TV and other house amenities. Wonderful property that has everything we needed just to relax and enjoy the beautiful Hawaii ocean and sky. The pool gave our family an easy activity to anchor each day. It was really nice being able to decide where to lay in the sun: pool chair, hammock, or day bed. One of the most relaxing trips we've taken as a family. The kitchen was well-stocked and was great for cooking a variety of meals. The beds were comfy. Everything was great, just as pictured.

As much as I want to give Tom a gracious review, I also have to be honest to potential renters. This unit is out on the Ali Road, about as far away from the pools as possible. The Lanai overlooks a parking lot. Musty-smell in the apartment. The "free wifi" is terrible, we fought it all week. It's not a dedicated streaming service typical these days, instead a shared Spectrum WIFI that's very unstable. The TV's are old and only one allows for any streaming at all, if you can figure out a ethernet cable. The bed mattress is older, but instead of replacing it with a new mattress, they just covered it with a 3 inch foam pad. The fan in the bedroom did not have a remote so we had to have the fan on the entire stay. It's a large lanai, but it's cluttered with extra planters and beach stuff so it's a bit of a mess. The overall condition of the apartment is aged. ON THE POSITIVE: The apartment is spacious. All of the appliances are newer and nice. There's sufficient utensils and amenities to make your stay nice. There's a nice work desk, and covered parking is so convenient.

Massive, phenomenal and spectacular are only a few of the words that my family and I uttered when we arrived.The condominium has everything you need and more to offer that will make all of your guests happy including a beautiful pool table.The semi-panoramic views of the ocean from the lanai are nothing short of breathtaking.The host was responsive to every question that we had, but we didn’t have many because everything we really needed to know was spelled out in the communications that arrived with the booking.I booked the condo as part of a celebration for my daughter in law’s re-enlistment ceremony and she remarked that this helped make the whole experience the highlight of her career.

A great base of operations from which to explore the west side of the big island. Plenty of room for 3 people. The full kitchen was a huge plus since there are limited food options within walking distance. Great communication from the host with lots of tips for new visitors to the area.

Very clean and nice studio. I really appreciated the full-sized washer-dryer rather than a small stackable unit. All of the other appliances, like the dishwasher and fridge, also were high-end. Gorgeous views of the sunset from the lanai. Royal Sea Cliff all the way around is definitely a nice facility. I really like the location on Alii Drive. It's close enough to town to walk (less than 2 miles) but far enough away that you don't get all of the tourist traffic and congestion.

Just the lighting in the living room was dark and the lighting in the kitchen over the sink too bright. I couldn’t figure out which switch turned on the dining room lighting. Another stand up light next to the chair in the Livingroon would have been nice. Other than that, a great place to stay.

In a location with often astronomical prices, this condo offers a terrific value with a full kitchen, Washer dryer in the unit, super nice furnishings and a comfortable bed within a hotel-like complex right on the ocean. Marc is very responsive. My only slightly negative comment is the "oceanfront" aspect of the listing is a little misleading as while the complex is oceanfront, the unit is not, although there is an ocean view somewhat from the right side of the lanai. But especially for the price this is a terrific unit and was much better than what we expected overall. Would definitely stay again.

We were all shocked at just how amazing this place is. You couldn't ask for more. The property itself is visually stunning, and the large, water-front, wrap-around outdoor space is unbelievable. This is probably the only place we'd ever consider renting again because it's hard to imagine ever finding something better with more access to amenities, points of interest, etc.To put it in perspective, I can barely remember where we stayed at our last trips to the island because they were just places to sleep while we enjoyed the island. But remembering this trip will always start with "that awesome VRBO we rented."
