Loved being close to the water. The view isn’t a full view but it’s still a good one. Spacious patio. The pool and view from there was wonderful also. We utilized the bike share close by which made a quick trip to nearby restaurants. Otherwise it’s just over one mile down the road. Great coffee place close by, Green Flash.

This is an excellent, central spot to stay. There are two pools on the water. Love it! Beautiful complex. The lanai has an ocean view. You can always hear the waves and see whales and birds.

Condo was well equipped in a super quiet complex. Loved that you could open the sliders and sleep to the sound of the ocean without traffic noise or loud neighbors. Covered parking close to the condo without stairs for easy load and unload of luggage. Would stay here again.

Property was nice enough. Would like instructions on what needs to be done for check out. Maybe a list of what is available and how to operate tv. Nicely accommodated. Had lots of extras you just have to look for. Marc was great with instructions for entry. No need to check in with resort. Overall it was good.

This unit is only one mile (easy walk) from downtown Kona. Good location for the drives to the north, south or east island. The view of the ocean on the balcony provided a restful background for meals. The host responded quickly to all questions. We will return to this unit in the future. Thank you.

Marc was great to work with and responded quickly to all our questions or requests. View is of ocean but what we call partial ocean view due to tree, etc. Loved hanging out at "quiet pool" down by ocean however. Unit was well stocked with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Would stay again.

Wonderful location that is close to where we were wanting to go. Magic Sands is less than 10 minutes away as well as many shops and restaurants. Would happily stay here again.

Check in was easy. I will begin by saying that this was an anomaly but will state the facts of our experience. Out of the 2 full days we had booked, day 1 was fine however day 2 started with a backed up toilet, drained extremely slow and then dirty water came up thru the shower drain. We always know not to put a lot of tissue or other things down a toilet, standard practice!
We reached out to Marc and he hired a plumber but we had no working bathroom for the day, had to use the common pool bathroom. Had a plumber at the unit in the afternoon but it could not be fixed until next morning. We lost almost a day of our orig plans, with this disruption.
Marc did what he could under the circumstances and offered us a different rental site, not at the Royal Sea Cliff. We appreciated that offer. We had an excursion booked that afternoon and had to leave the plumber in our unit. We did not get back until 11pm, then had to pack up everything and check into the new place that had a working bathroom. It was a big bummer. I’m sure the toilet got fixed and will be a better experience for the next set of guests.

Very nice studio condo and two pools to swim or bask in the sun. The location was great for getting around to dining or grocery stores and also to main traffic routes. A nice lanai to relax and soak up the warm tropical weather.

Marc was an excellent host was extremely responsive if I needed to get in touch. The unit was clean and was perfectly supplied and perfect for 2 people. The location was excellent for us. Just a quick drive into town or a few steps away from the main pool. You can see the ocean from the deck which was an added bonus. As I mentioned above, this place was very clean which was really one of the most important things to us. Thank you, Marc, for allowing us to be your guests. We will be back! :)

I would like to leave a better review but we had a couple of issues. We picked this place for proximity to the airport and because of the lower price than many other condos, and in condo washer and dryer.
1. I did not research the property enough to find out there are no Restaurants, bars or convenience store on property. The closest are about 1 1/2 miles toward town. We like to walk to dinner and shops so this was a little too far for us.
2. This stay was half way through our 2 week vacation in Hawaii. We picked it because it has a washer and dryer in the condo. However the washer stopped working after it soaked the 1st load. Marc offered, and paid for, us to take our clothes to a drop off laundromat. Unfortunately that used up half a day of our 3 day stay.
The condo is very dated. There are some rust marks on the walls of the shower where old metal fixtures were removed. There is a 1/4 inch gap under the entry door, but we did not see any bugs in the condo. There were roach traps in various locations in the condo.
We would probably not stay here again.

This is a great condo well situated on the mesmerizing cliffs of Kona facing the Pacific. Two pools- one with good hot tub. Parking included was easy. Bed was comfortable and full kitchen well equipped. Although somewhat set back- a great view of the ocean from the balcony. Would definitely return.

We expected a small studio in a nice resort, but this property was much more. It’s more like a small apartment with a full-sized kitchen and a lanai we could live on and where we spent most of our time. The condo was well stocked, better than most and everything worked ,both features we don’t take forgranted.. Another lovely feature, although the resort is on a busy street, the condo is close to the ocean and VERY quiet—only sounds of the ocean and birds. Great vacation!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at The Royal Sea Cliff Resort. The location is great and the condo offers a nice view of the ocean. The unit was clean and the kitchen well-appointed. The pool area is beautiful and it's nice to have parking right by your unit. Marc was very responsive to all our inquiries. Would definitely consider staying here again.

This is a studio condo, close to everything in Kona. You can see the ocean off to one side. Pool nice. Place was clean but there was a dead roach under the desk area, but it was dead so that was good. Nice place to stay for a couple, bed is a Murphy bed which was a double size but it was fine. Shower head a bit low from my husband but was fine for me. We were not in the Condo all that much so it was perfect for our trip.

This was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. Watched the sunset from the pool area and got to see dolphins on our last morning here while we ate breakfast on the lanai. Thank you so much Marc!

Pools and jacuzzi were nice. Property was clean and location convenient. View wasn’t great. Also, owner scheduled HVAC maintenance during our stay and although he did inform us just before the worker arrived, he didn’t ask if it was okay. Was not comfortable having him on a ladder in the kitchen while we were cooking.

Mark was so easy and nice to work with. We fished everyday for the Kona tournaments so we were not there a lot. The place was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for a long stay without paying Four Seasons Resort amount. The pool is nice. Neighbors were great. Our alarm was not set in time for check out, fishing everyday had wiped us out. They were nice and forgiving. I would stay here all the time.

Great location. Overlook to the ocean. The unit had everything you could ever want. Have stayed at lots of places on the islands. This one had beach towels boggie board beach chair and laundry soap. Even coffee creamer that was fresh.
