We’ve stayed at a number of properties at Hali’i Kai, but never 7F. We keep coming back to the resort for the beauty, the quiet, the amenities, the services and its ability to always reset our priorities. The townhome is now top of our list for future stays. It’s impeccably maintained, stocked to the gills with all requisite goodies, all things work as they should and the owners are extremely responsive. We loved every minute of our stay and returned to our “real” lives refreshed, recharged and ready to plan our next adventure.

Just as listed. A ton of room and stocked with above average supplies in both Kitchen and Baths. Garage had beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards and much more for beach. Nicely organized. The patio does get very warm in the afternoon - and the ocean view is certainly there but nothing like you get at the pool. Would stay again for sure.

Unit is great, clean and quiet. Everything we could have needed was there.. plus some. It’s a bit of a walk to pool but worth it! The amenities at pool are top notch. The gym is often full in the mornings, but the beautiful walk to get there should count while on vacation! Having the restaurant and bar on site at the pool is so convenient …..some days… no reason to even think about leaving.

Everything about this condo is wonderful! The cleanliness, the amenities & providing all the information needed from check in to check out was fantastic! I rely on all the reviews from VRBO which is why I rented this condo. The view from the back patio to see a glimpse of ocean & beautiful green landscaping & lava rocks is amazing! A great place to have coffee in the morning & a glass of wine with dinner in the evening & watch sunset. The owners provide everything you could possibly need & more to have a wonderful stay/vacation. All the kitchen spices & kitchen ware you could possibly need. The closet filled with beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling gear, pickleball equipment, beach bags to use at the beach, a cooler for food at the beach were all there. There is so much more in the closet that we didn't use, but they thought of everything to enjoy the sun, surf & sand. The pool located on the edge of the ocean gives the best sunset views you could ask for. We enjoyed having cocktails & delicious meals & appetizers from the bar/restaurant while watching sunset. The waitstaff was so nice. The owners are very responsive & helpful. Whenever I had questions, they responded online within minutes from the time I made the reservation to the last day of our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo to make our stay comfortable (the bed was so comfortable and slept so well) & fun. We will recommend this condo to anyone that is going to stay in Waikoloa!

Very clean and well-stocked condo, including beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, and some golf gear. The unit is close to the golf course and wonderful view of the ocean in the distance, but when we went in February, we had to go to the Ocean Club to see sunsets over the water. You might have better luck seeing sunsets over the water from this unit in summer. We did not use the discount golf package, so if that is important to you ask for details before booking. The listed property amenities are accurate, but some photos should be updated: The unit has new flooring (not tile, but LVP), new kitchen and bathroom countertops (not granite, maybe quartz), some new furniture (such as a new sofa and dining room table), and no gas BBQ on the lanai, but an electric George Foreman grill in the kitchen. Overall, these are improvements (except perhaps the BBQ, but no BBQ/grill is listed in the amenities). The property manager, Allyson, had good communication and offered fun things to do on the island. This is our fifth time at Hali'i Kai and we plan to return again!

This property is exactly as described. The host is very responsive. The kitchen has everything needed for meal preparation. Beds are very comfortable and living room area is relaxing with comfy furniture. The Lenai has the best sunset view as well as beautiful daytime views of the ocean crashing against the lava walls. Many mornings we were treated to whale sightings. The location is great, close to the beach and walkable to shops and restaurants. All you have to do is show up as everything else is waiting for you.

Impossible to overstate how well prepared and welcoming this roomy condo and its host is! It’s really a private nook in a larger resort. We’d not been here before but will come again and wouldn’t stay elsewhere. Spot whales while drinking morning coffee. Great view of golf’s most scenic hole here. Very welcoming and responsive host. Much like (a well appointed) home—but absent most of the worries and with 80 degree daily temperatures!

The location of this unit and its amenities make it so worthwhile. It's clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We loved taking advantage of the clubhouse, fitness center and swimming pool of Halii Kai as well as the free passes to the Hilton. Communication from the property management company was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and the condo was fantastic. It had everything you need in the kitchen. Beach towel, beach bags, chairs, etc. were all available. We had what we needed. The few things I did not like-no light on the patio or Lani. It was so dark at night. We did not like that you could not see the grounds. Also, did not like that there was not any shade by the pool-no umbrellas. You had to go up by the restaurant area and sit in a chair to be shaded. That was a deal breaker for me for future rental. Also, need to loosen up on not allowing to bring beverages to the pool. I am a Type 1 diabetic, had just come from a walk and had a small bottle of soda-needed that for sugar in case the blood sugar ran low. The gal was quite rude on not letting me take it into the pool area even though the bar was not even open. It was 8:00 AM. Seriously. Most people will still buy from the bar, but this was a bit ridiculous. But all in all we enjoyed our stay. The condo was wonderful, just the ground management needs some loosening of the strings….

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in February. The condo is very spacious, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a wonderful view. We had some gorgeous sunsets from the patio and the best part of this listing is the proximity to the pool/restaurant/gym area. So easy to roll out of bed and walk 40 seconds to get to the gym. The pool area is fantastic, the bar n grill was amazing, and we saw humpback whales all day/ every day. The prefect trip, thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Obviously, the location is magnificent and the condo was well supplied. The cleanliness/maintenance definitely needed improvement. The main bedroom sheets were stained with what looked like blood so we washed them twice and the stains diminished but still remained. I recommend new sheets. The toilet paper holder in the second bedroom upstairs was missing the spring inside so the toilet paper went flying. The holder was useless. The hot water handle fell into my hands but all it needed was to be screwed back on. Any finally, the stairs are in bad need of cleaning. It's an amazing unit and we spent most of our time on the upper lanai watching whales. Being retired CPAs, this was the first time we were able to enjoy Hawaii during tax season and hopefully will be able to do so again.

The Mavis' home felt welcoming and completely comfortable for our family getaway. There was ample communal and outdoor space, incredible view, well-stocked kitchen and the perfect 3 bedroom/bath configuration for parents and two adult kids and one GF. Easy access to the beautiful oceanside trail allowed us to stroll to the Black Sand Beach (1/2 mile) and A' Bay (1.5 miles). Sitting up a bit higher on the 2nd/3rd floor gives a great view of migrating whales--what a treat! Communication, access and parking were spot on and easy. The home is obviously well cared for and was very clean. It was the perfect homebase for all our adventures. Would definitely return!

This condo has a beautiful location and complex. We were disappointed to find that the dual dishwasher was broken on the top. In addition the water heater seemed to turned down in water temp so much that the bathtub would only produce luke warm water. When you pay for a higher price condo you expect that these issues would be fixed immediately.

We traveled with grandparents, parents (us), and kids and all had a great experience!! There was a beautiful fruit basket waiting for us when we got there. The kitchen was well stocked, rooms were comfortable, and lanais were spacious. The A/C and overhead fans were enough to keep us comfortable both during the day and at night. The 3 full bathrooms worked out great, especially with 3 generations staying there. The two minor downfalls to the condo are the bbq and the available equipment. The bbq burners wouldn’t start at first, then once they started, it took a very long time for it to get hot enough tool cook burgers. Hannah was very responsive and maintenance came out to take a look at it, but rather than fixing it they just waited long enough for it to heat up. The equipment (boogie boards and basketball were broken or deformed), but again Hannah was very responsive. The pool was nice, but not an infinity pool as described. It was usually busy, including young kids, and the restaurant is expensive and service was a quite slow. These are obviously out of Hannah’s control, but I believe worth noting.

For context, we have been in 7 other condos units in Hali’i kai. We were very disappointed with our stay at this unit:1. When we arrived the fridge was making a very loud buzzing sound. We couldn’t carry on a conversation over the sound. We immediately contacted the property management team via email, no immediate response. After a couple hours, we figured out that if we turned the fridge off and on, the noise stopped. We emailed the property management back telling them we had found a solution, they responded promptly, telling us to reach out again if more concerns. As it turned out, the noise returned that night waking us from sleep and despite resetting the fridge, kept recurring every 3-8 hours, waking us up multiple times each night. We emailed the managers after the first night, but did not receive any further replies; they ignored all problems, but their prompt reply to our email informing them we had (temporarily) fixed the issue shows they were getting our messages. 2. The beach gear was filthy, disorganized, and worn out. By far in the worst shape of any unit we have seen. 3. Bed was uncomfortable with cheap wool mattress pad that was hot (no a/c in bedroom just fan) and folded when you moved, covered by a too small flat sheet (no fitted sheeted) that didn’t fully cover the mattress lengthThe unit was fairly clean (average), dishes were clean, unit decently stocked (sugar, spices, baggies, samples of shampoo, detergent).Hal’i Kai staff are great.

We had a wonderful stay here. Definitely recommend. The condo was very clean. We enjoyed walking down to the ocean club and using the pool and sand bottom Jacuzzi as well as eating at the ocean club. Lots of towels provided lots of snorkel gear as well as coolers and chairs. Beds could use some help. Very soft and made loud creaking when you move in the bed. All beds! Take your own pillow from home and it won’t be a problem for you.!! we will definitely be back!
