We had an excellent stay at this condominium. The location is ideal, within walking distance to Queens shopping center as well as Kings. The area is lovely to walk in, close to the beach as well as close to the resorts. The condo itself is beautiful. We loved spending mornings and evenings on the lanai, watching the sunset over the water and the sunrise in the morning coming up behind the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Condiments were left in the refrigerator which was very appreciated. The place was clean and very quiet. Oh-and we were fortunate to see the erupting volcano after an overnight road trip that we took! We hope to be back!

This was a perfect little getaway and in a great location. Plenty of space in the condo. Great location, just a few minutes south of great beaches (Mauna Kea Beach, Hapuna beach) and just north of Kona and the beaches there (Magic sands for boogie boarding, pinetrees for surfing). Great food close too, island gourmet was an underrated spot, and juice 101 has great acai. A-Bay around the corner was beautiful too. Overall just amazing.

Property was just as advertised. Beautiful views, great location, restaurant and market within easy drive. We found a secluded snorkel spot near the Puako Boat Ramp and really appreciated having the beach chairs. Dinners at Kings Shops even included a free Hawaiian musical performance and fire dance.

The complex pool is nice and a good alternative to busier, noisier resort pools and has a view of A-Bay.We also used the included Hilton pool pass and it worked with no issues.Included towels and beach supplies were super convenient.

I took my family with kids (9, 5, and 1). We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the fresh feel of the space. The closeness to the beaches was wonderful as well as the quick walk to the Waikaloa to see the dolphins!At the end, we were rushed to pack and ended up accidentally leaving some things. The cleaners were fabulous in gathering and shipping those items to us.

We stayed a week at Jayne’s condo. Probably the most well equipped rental we have stayed at. It was more like someone’s home. It was very quiet and comfortable. The view was very nice of the grounds and the ocean. The wraparound porch was great. Good location near King’s and Queen’s shopping plazas. Also near some beautiful beaches. We didn’t use the pool or gym but both looked nice. Jayne was very responsive and had lots of local recommendations and books/magazines. Highly recommend.

Property was nicely upgraded. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were all upgraded, nice, and clean. Good location where you can walk to a lot of stuff quickly. Only reasons I’m giving 4 stars is we had issues with the AC one day where it kept shutting off prematurely and then needed to be manually reset so the condo got hot. Once we got the condo down to a stable temp, it was a non issue for the rest of our stay. There was also an issue with the ceiling fan over the master bed where we could only get it to operate with the light on, which prevented us from using it at night. The kitchen only had 2 real wine glasses so it would have been nice to have a couple more. Other than that, our stay was great.

This was our fifth Lavaman triathlon. The waikaloa area is so amazing, its like a tranquil oasis that helps you get refreshed. Michelle's place made it even more perfect. The condo is well situated, peaceful, and walkable to shops, restaurants, and beaches.

I would have given this condo 5 stars but there were a few things we had to call on for maintenance that were never addressed, ie the cupboard where the trash can was kept in the kitchen had too short of screws and kept falling off and the main shower handheld was broken and wouldn’t stay in the holder so you could never stand under it. But otherwise it is a very nice condo in a beautiful location and we had a lovely stay. The management company was helpful in other ways and very nice.

Lovely, well appointed condo unit. It had extras like 4 beach chairs, boogie boards, a small cooler, pool noodles, sand toys. We really appreciated the spices and oil in the kitchen cupboards as well as Saran wrap and tin foil so we could cook without paying a small fortune for spices we used once. The unit qualifies for a golf discount which we used. The location is perfect for walking to Kings and Queens shopping center. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. I'd stay here again.

I stayed in the condo with my husband and friend. It was perfect. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the lanai had a partial view of the beach. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and perfect in every way. The host was communicative and quick to respond with any questions. The beach is so close to the condo and there were great food options which were also walkable. And it was also super close to Hapuna Beach and many great towns on the northwest part of the island. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Condo was clean, nicely decorated and situated close to the pool as well as surrounding shops and restaurants. We never prepared any meals in the condo however the kitchen (very nice) appeared to be well-stocked with everything one might need to do so... we just preferred to eat out! We enjoyed sitting on the lanais in the morning and evenings. Being tall we did not find the couch and reclining chair too comfortable for lengthy sitting/watching TV. The only issue we encountered during our stay was with the AC. However, the owner was responsive, and the issue got resolved. Vista Waikoloa is a quite resort and the grounds are well kept. And Sylvia is great/quick about answering any questions you may have pre/post-booking through the end of your stay! Don't pass this up!

We spent a wonderful Spring Break at this beautiful condo and it was a perfect home base for all things on the Big Island. Very walkable to a variety of places, but also great home base for a day trips to beaches and sight seeing. The lanai was the best - so beautiful! Condo was spacious, comfy and clean. The teen girls used the condo pool a couple days and it was great to sit on lanai reading and hear/see them. Communication with owners was amazing. I had lots of questions before and during and they were very responsive and had great tips and advice. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Unit E105 turned out to be perfect for my 8 week stay in Waikoloa Beach. It was a good size to have family visit on and off but not so big that it was too much for just me. We stayed in a different condo & loved this complex so much last year. We could not wait to return this year.We still had a lovely two week stay this year; however, because of the vog that drifted here to Waikoloa (from the smoldering volcano, Kilauea), I was disappointed I could not enjoy being outside as much at Kolea this year.

We just ended our 10 day stay at Monica's Vista Waikoloa condo at Waikoloa Shores on the Big Island. The condo was as described with a large lanai with ocean and sunset views. Check in was a breeze and the condo was clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated it being equipped with all the beach gear we needed. The condo was large, spotless, very quiet, and in a great location. The lanai was very large and provided a lot of shade - easy walk to restaurants, shops, beach area. While there was not a large ocean view, the surrounding trees, mountains, golf course and waterfall were lovely. Great appliances - Bosch dishwasher, large refrigerator with large-capacity ice maker, good drip coffee maker. Nicely remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. We hope to stay here again.

We enjoyed staying for a week at this property. The location was great, with easy access to the King’s and Queen’s Shops, which had a good mixture of restaurants, stores, and a food market. The property was spacious and we loved the lanai, which overlooked a golf course. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything needed to make meals. The beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels provided were used frequently. We would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed two weeks at this wonderful condo. This was the nicest condo we ever stayed at! Beautiful decor! Comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Thank you for all the ziplock bags, paper goods, trash bags and soaps. We didn’t need to buy anything and replenished the bags we used up. We cooked in several nights. Nearby gas grills were excellent. Pool and hot tubs were used daily and only steps away from the condo. Daily walks to the beach trail or nearby shops were great. Close to many golf courses for the many rounds we golfed. Close to Hapuna beach! We wanted to rebook for 2026, but already booked for the winter months! Highly recommend this property!

This is a very nicely furnished third floor unit with an extremely large lanai. It has very nice view of the pool below and the ocean/shoreline in the distance. The king bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is very well outfitted. We had a few issues during our stay. The management company was eventually able to resolve all of them. However, we would have appreciated more communication from the management company during the process of resolving the problems.

We had a broken toilet and screen doors. They fixed the toilet after two tries and a phone call to the handyman myself. The screen door never did get fixed. They fixed a sliding door that was working fine and said that was what I had requested even though I sent pictures of the broken screen door. There was also a mouse in our unit which we reported immediately. No action from the mgmt company. We left a day early because of it. The twin beds were not converted to a king. I had confirmed this twice with the mgmt company and we ended up doing it ourselves. There was a 2” height differential when the beds were put together so not really convertible to a king. The place really could use some TLC, it is tired looking.

This condo is in an excellent location, with walking to everything in Waikoloa. (Restaurants, shopping, beach etc) It is in very clean and in good condition so easy to relax and enjoy your holiday in comfort. The local management were very quick to respond to questions. The 2nd floor and building location provides a beautiful place to enjoy coffee and breakfast in the morning and sundowners in the afternoon. You will not be disappointed staying in this condo. By the way, it was not clear about the type of coffee maker came with the unit. It has both K-CUP and drip coffee makers.

Our stay in this beautiful condo was almost perfect. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful, and is stocked with just about everything you could possibly need. From just about any dish or appliance to fully stocked spices and condiments and bathroom toiletries there really isn’t much left out. The pictures listed are true to life and up to date and there wasn’t a speck of dirt anywhere. Most of the check in instructions and information were absolutely clear and easy to follow - however we had a small issue with the thermostat and it took several days to resolve that. When you’re in the unit you don’t have full control over the temperature- they don’t want the temp to be set below 72 which we were totally fine with, but the settings kept causing the a/c to shut off at night and the temperature would go up and made it very stuffy in there. We tried communicating with the property manager, asking for the temp to be set to 73 degrees from 10 pm until 7 am (we had only limited control of the thermostat), and after more than a few messages back and forth with limited responses, it seemed to be resolved. The pool area was very nice, with an infinity pool and very large hot tub, comfy beach chairs and plenty of big clean towns. It never got too crowded while we were there. Tried leaving more info but apparently there’s a limit on how much I can write! \_(ツ)_/

The unit was beautifully decorated and had everything you could need for a stay on the Big Island. We particularly liked the two balconies where we sat to relax each evening to watch the sunset. We also loved the pool and the relaxed atmosphere of the resort. The beach and two shopping areas are within easy reach and we would recommend the drive over the Saddle Road to Hilo and the National Volcano Centre which was fascinating. Thank you Monica!
