Kiholo Bay is the remains of an enourmous 200 year old fishpond. The bay is completely protected but does have ocean access. The beautiful turquoise water is calm and good for swimming, but the snorkeling is disappointing as the water is murky. Many turtles live in the bay. Getting to the bay requires a 25 minute walk on a dirt path..
